If I could give zero stars I would. . I called ahead to make sure that it was not super busy as I was on a time crunch. The man on the phone told me that the bays were pretty clear at that point (11:45). I work 5 minutes from this location so I made the trip up there. The man greets me and I tell him I need a standard oil change and he said that would be no issue. He also informed me that one guy was on lunch. That is fine as well. I said I needed to be out by 12:45, again, he stated that it is not an issue. I made my way into the lobby and read for a bit assuming that they would get my vehicle in and done as requested. I looked at the clock at 12:30 and they had not even pulled the car in! I went out and got his attention to tell him that I was out of time and needed to leave and he just simply said "yeah, sorry." I had to take the plastic and mat out of the car. We do a ton of fleet vehicles at this location and I will no longer be doing that. I have also tried to call their cooperate number and it says their system is down. I emailed instead. that likely hood of them actually emailing or contacting me, yeah, not holding my breath. I have been here a lot for work and they are slow all the time and try to up sell you. When I say I just want an oil change, I mean I just want an oil change. The turnover of staff here is insane. I felt it prudent to follow up with my 2013 experience at Jiffy Lube. Since the previously mentioned incident, I have been here a couple times, and since then the service has drastically improved. Before, they were clearly interested in upselling the customer as much as possible to maximize charges. Perfect example: My air filters. When they showed both filters to me, they explained that the cabin filter probably has a few thousand more miles of life left to it, and it would be fine to hold off for another change and go from there. However, the regular filter did in fact need to be changed, and the representative offered a $10 discount to essentially price-match with local auto parts stores. Customer service like this goes a long way with me, and I told him how much I appreciated it. It seems the new manager has changed this so that employees are instead most interested in the health of the car, rather than the register. I sincerely hope that this doesn't cost them in the long run. As for myself, congratulations. You've regained a customer that you had previously lost. Bravo. read more

I am a regular at this Jiffy Lube and I had stopped at a different location two days ago. I realized they had overfilled my car with oil considering it was just a top off after a recent oil change. I went back to my Jiffy Lube and was wondering if they could take a little of the oil out. To my surprise because of the temperature of the oil being so hot they drained all the oil and gave me fresh oil and at the price of synthetic.It was not necessary but this is the reason why I go to the Renton location. Went for a oil change yesterday afternoon arrived just before 3:30pm. The manager there was in the midst of dealing with a disgruntled employee. The young man left to work on all the incoming vehicles was very professional and kind. My battery died prior to my oil change, he jump started my car and worked on my car. He was left to work with the customers, while the young woman spoke with their boss on the phone. I was very impressed with him, he didn't show the frustration I'm sure he must have been feeling, given the circumstances. The young woman once off the phone was also, very professional and kind. These two employees deserve a raise for their work ethics and genuine kindness and empathy they were able to give to their customers. Though it took longer, I will return there just because of how these two handled their high stressful, high volume situation. Thank you to you both! read more

You know something is fishy when the manager pulls the guy that you're talking to, so the customer doesn't hear what they are discussing. I took my car in to get my oil changed. Firstly, the guy that got into my car to direct it into the service area seemed discombobulated and waited like 5 minutes to have someone direct him into the area (instead of getting out and asking for help). Then, while I was waiting outside the guys were not very coordinated and seemed like a bunch of high school kids who were there for the paycheck. Have been getting our oil changed at Jiffy Lube in Renton off of 4th & Union, for years. Always efficient and friendly. Connor was very helpful during my last visit. Remember to check for an online coupon for additional savings (they could use more comfortable chairs in their lobby though). Went in there to get an oil change today. No appointment needed. We were in and out. Daniel was quick and to the point. Their waiting room is just a simple no muss, no fuss kind of thing. There's coffee and although I've only seen a few magazines and a TV on I don't care. I wasn't there to be entertained. I just need my car done right by professionals so I've no complains about the sparse amenities they are able to make it available for waiting customers. As long as the lounge area is clean and comfortable. Daniel explained a bit on what happened to the pan threads and said they replaced it with a butterfly drain plug. He did up sell me with replacing the air filter but I don't mind. It is part of the maintenance process so yeah, might as well have them do it. Although the price of the air filter is 3 times higher than stores like o'reilley's, I don't want to spend my hours going to the store and get a 6 dollar oil filter. My time is more valuable than saving a couple of bucks. As long as these people at jiffy lube's do me right and very competently at a reasonable price, I am going to be a loyal and repeat customer. read more

If there was an option for no stars I would have picked that. Jiffy Lube in Renton put a RECALLED oil filter in my truck AFTER the filter had been recalled which led to all the oil leaking out of my truck and my engine seizing up. Once they claimed responisiblity for the mistake with an "Really sorry about that," I took it to my mechanic who had to break it to me. When the engine seized up it cracked a rod and destroyed the bearings. Engine needs to be replaced. To begin the procedure of claiming this incident through Jiffy Lube's insurance I called the WOODINVILLE OFFICES everyday for a week and so far have had absolutely no response. We're talking about 8k+ in damages and no one is responding? You can't even get a live person on the phone. Yeah, zero stars my friends. I'd say avoid this place like the plague, but the plague sounds like a better option to me. read more

There was a little mix-up over whether we were getting the "value" oil change or the "premium" version...they accidentally gave us the premium version, but she honored the fact that we had actually come in for the value oil change, and charged us the lower price. The guy came in the waiting room and told me it was the people who changed my oil previously. Which is such bullshit! They messed my oil pan up so bad, that no other plug will fit! Usually I get my oil change here. There was no line or other customers here today. So my oil change was finished pretty quickly. Used my $15 coupon for synthetic oil and still it came out to $89. However they did not vacuum my car like they did the last time. My husband had his car done the same day at the Kent location and they vacuumed his car! This place is either a hit or miss. Next time I shall go across the street to Firestone. Oh and they forgot to change my oil indicator to 100% in my Honda. I was in the parking lot waiting for them to guide me into one of the open spots. They all saw me but were to busy looking at something else. What a really nice bunch of guys, too! Thanks Daniel! I visited the 4th St in Renton, WA location on 1/15/19. The service was really quick, which was great. However, it was so quick I don't see how they could possibly have done and/or checked all of the things that they said they did on the invoice. For instance, the invoice clearly states that they vacuumed the car and washed the windows, which they most definitely did not. This makes me nervous that they did not check the other important items on the invoice, such as power steering fluid and differential, to name a couple. I honestly feel like I got a half-ass job where they literally only changed my oil (I hope!). Even with a $15 off coupon, this service cost me $73.67. That isn't cheap. I will not be returning to this location, and possibly not a Jiffy Lube. I used to use Jiffy Lube all the time, they performed the services on the invoice, and I had confidence that they were doing a good job. Not any more. read more

The Crew at this Jiffy Lube location is amazing! The customer service they provided was Exceptional! I came in a couple times last month because my undercarriage fell off and it was dragging along the road when I drove. They manage to take it off for me within minutes without charging me anything. Yesterday, I came in for an oil change as they were ready to close and they manage to fit me in and got it done within 10 minutes. They were thorough and efficient. Mady, 16yr old high school student with a passion for helping people with emotional and psychological disorders, was very professional and genuine. She was very thorough with breaking down the conditions of my car and efficient with processing my transaction. She is a great addition to the team. Fast oil change but it it's annoying when they try to sell you a $5 air filter for $20 when you can literally see the Auto Parts store down the street from the place. Also $12.99 each to replace my back-up lights, i think not. This trip to Jiffy Lube was quickly followed by a 5 minute trip to Auto Zone and 10 minutes of getting my hands dirty to save over $30. read more

Did not have a good experience with jiffy lube. This is the first time I have felt pressured and ripped off by an automechanic. I went in with my husband and son for what was suppose to be a quick 10min oil change. They first told us they would be doing a "quick 10-15min safety inspection". I didn't know what that meant, and they didn't ask me if I wanted it just told me that was going to be done but I assumed that was making sure my car wasn't about to blow up or something seriously wrong. So about 30-40 min later they tell us they ran a bunch of diagnostics and blah blah is wrong with our car. And told us that if we didn't change our cabin filter we would be breathing in pollutants and toxins....well at the time my 1 year old is upset and throwing a fuss so we just went ahead with what they said cause we just wanted to be out of there. Also later I realized on our 2.5yr old cabin filter changing that was something we could have done ourselves for $15 instead of paying them $50-55 to do it. I'm just upset that they made it seem like we had to do this right away for the health and safety of our family, they over exaggerated and pressured us into a quick decision when we were already spending $80 for a synthetic oil change for our prius. So I ask them if they have done the oil change...and they're like no we will do that after we replace the filter and then it will only take 5-10min. So 50min later we are finally on our way out and the person asks us how we would rate their service. My husband says a 4/5 because we just wanted a 10 min oil change and instead left 50min later because of their inspection and this was a service we were told was going to be quick. So the guy responds to my husband by saying " it only takes a couple sec". Ummmm no it didn't, so thanks for asking for our opinion and then telling us we are the ones who are wrong. No thanks, will not be going to this place again. read more
