Absolutely terrible experience. This place is overpriced, filthy, and not worth the money. Tables throughout the dining area were covered with food and mess left behind by previous customers, and they remained that way for an unacceptable amount of time. There appeared to be no staff monitoring the dining room or making any effort to keep the restaurant clean and presentable. For the prices they charge, basic cleanliness and customer service should be expected. Instead, the restaurant felt neglected and unsanitary. The name and reputation may attract customers, but the reality was extremely disappointing. I would not return and cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

Stopped for something to eat on a Saturday about 8:30 before moving on down Broadway. Like all the places on Broadway they had a live band playing. It was loud for sure, but that was absolutely expected. The service was pretty good and the food was decent too. I just had a burger and fries. Generous portion. Prices were in line with the rest of Broadway which is a bit high, but just the reality. The band was really good and interacted great with the crowd. We were in and out in about an hour. read more

We came here for dinner on New Year's Eve. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy. We were seated upstairs and I was happy with that because they had a ton of TVs and had the football game on. It took a while for someone to take our drink orders. Once she came back with our drinks we went ahead and ordered. The server stayed on top of service after that. Our food came out in about 20 minutes and was hot and fresh. I got the Cheeseburger in Paradise with fries and it was delicious! My wife and mother in law got the same thing and they were happy about their food as well. Our kids got the wings and they were not happy with them. Ok where do I start. The wait and staff were really nice and great, no complaints there. We ordered the wings as an appetizer and they were good, not write home about it but good. I ordered the shrimp boil and my wife had the stir fry with chicken. My wife's food was great, I even had a sample. Now, let's talk about this shrimp boil. The words "this ain't it " resonate. Everything is boiled in hot water with 0 seasoning. Then they sprinkle a very lite seasoning on it. I'm from New Orleans and this isn't how this is done, period. We came in just before their HH was ending and sat at the bar and order a round of drinks. There was a guy playing music, and he was really great, and he is what kept us there. We were hungry, but wanted something really good, and their menu was expensive for food we just couldn't find anything we wanted to order. Great hotel with great vibes. When you step into the hotel you don't feel like you are in downtown Nashville with all the hustle and bustle. It's very laid back and peaceful. Everything is decorated very nice and really well taken care of and clean. Our room was on the 12 th floor we loved it, it also had a beautiful view. We ate dinner at the JWB restaurant it was very nice with great service and the food was fantastic. We had a concert at night at the Bridgestone arena which is like a 5 minute walk very convenient for us. We will be back! read more

This was a fun visit for me and my crew. Me and my friends came to Nashville for my birthday and our night kind of got turned around because one of the people in my group left their ID at home so we had to rearrange since we weren't able to get into any of the bars. But coming here they made my birthday. Nothing short of amazing!! Upon entering it gave like dive bar vibes, but once we went upstairs, it was set up a little more nice and they had a live band playing, which made the night even more amazing. Once they found out, it was my birthday they performed custom songs for us, and they danced with us and our waitress even got up there and performed a song for my birthday which was great. An experience that I will never forget. The food and drinks were good as well, but we were so focused on how much fun we had that we only ate some of it, but we did have a few drinks. Also, they had a Christmas pop-up bar which we were able to try and that was good as well. Overall, the whole restaurant gets a standing ovation from me Just for the experience alone. read more

Unfortunately, the Volcano Nachos at Margaritaville were a letdown. While they come out looking impressive--a massive mountain of chips--the presentation is where the excitement ends. The toppings are mostly concentrated on the very top: a few spoonfuls of diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream and beans nearly non existent. Digging into the pile, you quickly realize any chips with drizzled cheese are soggy. the ingredients are just too thinly spread to keep up with the overwhelming amount of chips. We ended up asking for salsa which we were ultimately charged. It's more of a chip-heavy snack than a true loaded nacho experience. No complaints on the Margarita. We love Jimmy Buffet and Margaritaville but it is a big no on the nachos. read more

Margaritaville Nashville deserves an award for the most chaotic hospitality experience I've had in a long time. We booked a balcony suite on Expedia, but we looked at pictures directly on their website. At check-in, we were informed that balcony suites don't exist in downtown Nashville. Not at their hotel. Not anywhere!!! Fascinating.... considering we had a reservation confirmation and photos from their own website. After showing them the proof, the story magically changed to, "Oh yes, we have those suites." Excellent! Except then it became, "We already gave it to someone else because we overbooked." So apparently our room existed just long enough to sell it, but not long enough for us to stay in it. The food situation was equally entertaining. Breakfast was actually delicious, so credit where credit is due. Unfortunately, every other meal seemed determined to lower the average. They didn't have A1 sauce, only Heinz 57--which is basically the participation trophy of steak sauces. At that point, I started wondering if Nashville was experiencing a regional condiment shortage. The mystery deepened when my espresso martini arrived with no espresso beans.and No Froth... Apparently there's also a bean shortage. No steak sauce. No coffee beans. Nashville, are you okay? Then came housekeeping. At 6:00 AM on a Saturday morning, they knocked on our door to clean the room. SIX. A.M. On vacation. We politely asked them to come back later because, shockingly, we were asleep. They never returned. So housekeeping's strategy appears to be: "We'll clean your room before sunrise or not at all. Overall, Margaritaville Nashville delivered an unforgettable experience--not because it was exceptional, but because it felt like every department was playing a different game with a different set of rules. Currently sitting inside the Margaritaville as I am writing this. 4 out of the 6 people at my table ordered alcoholic drinks. There was no alcohol in them. When I asked our waitress what was going on she explained that there was a bartender in training and that this wasn't the first complaint about the lack of alcohol. Instead of bringing us new drinks to offset for the lack of alcohol, she said that the regular bartender could make new drinks but they would be half off. Our experience was horrific. It started out good. We were told 20 minute wait but were actually seated in 10. After that it went downhill. We sat for over 15 minutes before I finally had to flag down a waitress for a drink order. Our food took way longer than it should, and was told it took longer because of my wife's grilled chicken. We did not order anything fancy...2 burgers and a salad. While it was very busy for a Friday on Broadway in Nashville this should not have been this complicated. We did learn it was our server's first day solo on the floor...clearly was not ready for the business of Nashville. I asked to speak with a manager who did comp us generously for the inconvenience. This review is for the Friday happy hour show with SiriusXM's The Highway show. A "reservation" for the upstairs show is completely meaningless. We made a reservation for 1:30 and were 10th in line. When they let us up there at 1:30, absolutely every table was full of people finishing their meals but were not going to leave. So, the "reservation" is for a spot to stand for 90 minutes until the show starts, and to stand for the duration of the show. Totally bogus. Do not waste your time. read more

Of course busy with about a 30minite wait or if space at the bar. Lucky for us we snagged he last 2 seats. Of course live band performing. By now we were a bit tired and just wanted to eat and return to hotel. My friend ordered the gumbo and I did teriyaki chicken shrimp with white rice and broccoli. Exaaaaactly what I needed. Okay, let me just say -- Sydney was running that section. Sis was everywhere at once, and somehow still found time to check on us like we were her only table. The food came out fast (shoutout to the kitchen), but Sydney? She's the reason the night was giving five-star energy. Ambiance and service: So the spot we wanted to dine was super booked and they didn't allow reservations so we walked further down Broadway and decided to try here and we were able to be seated within a reasonable window of time. I ordered the appetizer trio to include Hand-Battered Chicken Tenders (the batter gave McDonald's nuggets) , Caribbean Chicken Egg Rolls (not crispy and semi flavorful), and Spinach & Artichoke Dip (it gave very refrigerated not flavorful).
