I recently got a sandwich from this location it was AMAZING! I met the marketing team Leah&Jessica and I was very impressed by the way these two young women carried themselves. The two of them where very professional but also at the Same time very fun nice girls. They made me and my business feel very secure in our choice to use them for our catering needs. Today I wanted to try something new and I decide to try this place out. The sandwiches were good, but the service was horrible from the start. Jessica took my order and since it was my first time there I asked her if she recommended anything, but she was no help. She was very blunt and seemed bothered. When I got my sandwich (The #12 with avocado) it barley had any avocado spread on it. I asked for more and she said they couldn't give me anymore. I even asked for a water cup to obviously drink water and all three employees rudely put me on the spot and said the sodas don't work! I showed them my cup that was filled with water and they just turned around and rolled their eyes. Overall horrible experience and I gladly won't be returning!! read more

Had my heart set on a delicious toasted sub from Quiznos since I have not had one in ages. Made the trek to Downey specifically to the shopping center, but so my surprise Quiznos is no longer there and there was Jimmy John's. I guess it had been quite a while. As soon as my boo saw it was Jimmy John's he told me not to eat there because the owner was found to be not ethical. Being stubborn I went in anyway just curious about what they have to offer, perhaps they could offer me something comparable to Quiznos. When I walked in and looked at the menu it looks very plain and I did not notice any ovens for toasting. I asked the staff if it was possible to try to create my own sub and they seemed confused. They have a very limited menu of toppings and sauces literally just mayonnaise and mustard lettuce and tomato. So I got my plain turkey roast beef lettuce tomato and cheese sandwich and left quickly as it seemed as the staff was annoyed by my questions. Now as I sit here with my plain sandwich on this super hard flavorless roll, I should have gotten something from Philly's Best like my boo did. I added some horseradish sauce from my fridge to try to help Jazz the sandwich up and it's no use, I cannot chew through this hard bread. $9 for a lesson learned. After my situation with JJ the owner reached out and I really appreciate that. I explained the situation to him and he was definitely apologetic. We are all humans and make mistakes so I believe we can all take this as a learning experience. He has assured me that he has spoken with the manager about the incident and I believe it. To go a step further he has offered me numerous paid lunches which he will deliver himself. It's alright. First time here, wasn't that impressed with the taste of the sandwich. I tried the turkey, cheese, avocado sub and they use what they call "avocado spread" as their avocado and you can't really taste it. They don't use yellow mustard so if you like regular mustard on your sub, they give you mustard packets. Kinda lame.. I feel every sandwich joint should offer mustard. They serve Coke and I'm a Pepsi fan. The highlight of my meal was the chips! I must say they have some of the best tasting BBQ kettle chips I've ever tasted. read more

Did phone app order, when I left work. Got to the store, asked the young lady cashier, she turned back and asked a man, if my order was ready. I followed where he was at, to pick up the food. As I walked out, the young lady wished me well. Food was fresh and tasted good. Will be back. Highly recommend, I will be back as it's not that far from where I live and work. I never would have expected a place like this to deliver, but sure enough they do. the guy on the phone said it would eventually be about 10-12 min, but since the drivers are still learning the area, it might be as much as 15 min. I was thinking that's pretty quick. the guy showed up in about 12 min, and actually ran from his car to.my front gate, up the stairs and all the way to my front door. wife and I had the Vito each. wife asked for mayor on hers, which they happily added at no charge. both of our sandwiches were a bit on the dry side for our liking, but I think just ordering with extra dressing would fix that. Poor customer service. I come in for my lunch break to buy A few sandwiches, as I walk in I am not greeted, as I wait in line the manager who is working the cash register turns his back putting me on hold without notice because of the phone ringing. I finally get serviced and I take my money out to pay, they refuse to take my $100 bill on a Friday at lunchtime it's all the cash I had on me. I only came here cause I see this restaurant on Brock Lesnars Trunks..and said let's give it a try..hmmm..I guess advertisement does work..anyway..theres nothing special about this place But ..it is fresher than Subway..the deli meats..the condiments..the breads..its a totally different ball park But theres nothing special. Its competing against Jersey Mike's and Subway and it's the same thing. The location is ok.. where the restaurant is at in the plaza not too much because theres other places you see before you get there but that's besides the point ..overall what they have is the same thing everywhere else and its definitely something you can do at home ... but if you're too lazy to make a sandwich and add ham..cheese..lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles .. then JJs is the right place for you read more

When I arrived I was greatest heartily by all the employees and welcomed in. I took a minute to peruse the menu but asked the young lady anxiously awaiting my order what she recommended, she said" the number9" - the Italian Night Club, I said OK, and before I could finish paying for it, they handed me the sandwich...I was momentarily stunned and questioned whether that was really my sandwich, they jokingly apologized for the wait. I love this place already. They asked if I knew that they delivered after finding out that I worked right around the corner. So yesterday (April 21, 2016) was my first time here because they were offering $1 subs for 'Nationwide Customer Appreciation Day!'. Now I have to admit the line was long but the wait wasn't. Not only that, as soon as I have them my order slip my sandwich was done before I could sit down !!! I purchased the Veggie sub and it was DELICIOUS!! Right after spending $20 they wouldn't let me use the restroom because they had just cleaned it. Got our order wrong, and made us bag our own food. Rude customer service. Never going back. I didn't even spend any money at Starbucks and they had no issue with letting me use their just cleaned bathroom. Usually, we give this place a good rating! Heck, we love their sandwiches and they even know us by name! However, tonight was a different story! We called in a delivery order of which the girl who answered confirmed was acceptable! Minutes later, they call us back saying we are too far out of their delivery area. So, my husband gets up and drives over. Then, they call back telling me they have to void my charge (takes 2-3 days) receive credit and charge me appropriately! WTF!
