Ordered Jimmy johns for delivery and waited for five hours for it to arrive. It never did! I called the restaurant several times and they never answered. It has been two months since that happened and I still haven't gotten a refund. The franchise owner emailed me and said he would send a refund, but never did. I've been regularly going to this location for the past 10 months (more than I would like to admit) and here is my experience there: The staff is always very friendly, freakishly fast & they make the most CONSISTENT sandwich of any location I go to. Horrible experience. This Jimmy Johns has gone downhill in the past year. Today, I ordered two sandwiches at 11:16am. By 1pm, I started to get worried that I wouldn't receive my order since on the Order Tracker it was stuck at "Order Received". I tried calling multiple times, but everytime I was put on hold for 20 minutes (literally, I timed it). Everytime I called, the manager said, "can I put you on hold?" and I said, "Nope" but he did anyway. So, at this point, I'm very upset because there was no where I could cancel my order. I couldn't speak to anyone and I couldn't find anywhere online to do it. Oh, and I still had my own day job to worry about. So, I decided to go into the store. Apparently, they're down sandwich makers. Fine, but the manager was clearly unequipped to handle the situation and I could see he wasn't doing anything to help the situation outside of hanging up on customers. As a manager, you should feel sorry for taking someone's money and not delivering the good/service, and for hanging up on your customers who you clearly didn't want to deal with. The manager there, Adam, was a complete a**hole about the whole situation. He clearly wanted me to feel sorry for him instead of feeling bad for me; for taking my money and not delivering my food. If he was polite about the situation, it would've been a different story, but instead he chose to take it out on the customers. So I told them to cancel my order, and he looked me in the eye and goes, "we'll cancel your order, but I won't make your sandwich for you." WOW! I hope Adam gets fired. read more

The good: Service was friendly. My order was a BLT with chips and water. The bread was soft yet firm enough to hold ingredients. The restaurant was clean and nearly empty. The disappointing: Sandwich was given to me after 11 minutes- not very quick. There were four sliced tomatoes on an 8 inch sandwich- not nearly enough. There was enough lettuce to let me know it was there - again, not nearly enough. The bacon was cold, flat and put right down the center all stacked on top of each other. This was the most disappointing part but it should not have been. While there was a goodly quantity of bacon, it was placed poorly and cold and flat. My perception of a BLT has bacon spread across all parts of the bread, is at least room temperature and is not flat. Better: The mayonnaise was just right - not enough to overpower everything else. read more

I am very disappointed in the Highlands Ranch location. I have always had good service from them. A couple of days ago, I had done an online order for a business meeting today. I placed my order and received a confirmation email. Today when i went to pick up my order, I went to the door and there was a note, 'We are closed due to staffing issues' Now being a small business owner, I take these matters seriously and I get it. It seems someone isn't 'watching the store'...but, you would think the owner of the Franchise or Manager would take all the online orders and 'call' those folks to let them know. I called this store for it to just ring and ring, no voicemail, no nothing. I had to have food for these folks coming into the office, so I quickly did an online order for Chick-fila and drove across the street and picked up my order, Chick-fila saved the day! Most always "Freaky Fast", never once even close to accurate. I do not believe I have ever received a correct order from this particular store. Example: today I ordered a customized veggie sandwich, pickle and a drink. The order brought to me not even five minutes later definitely had meat on the sandwich and the drink had no ice and was actually very warm. So I called and asked for the correct order be brought. Again not even five minutes later I exchanged the wrong sandwich for the ALMOST correct one I ordered (still a few customized options forgotten or randomly added in excess). Oh, side note and tip: make sure you ask them to bring you a straw for the lukewarm drink you ordered. Apparently that is only available upon request. read more

Jimmy Johns customer service is typically great and they are very helpful. Last week, however, my boyfriend's mom stopped by to pick up some sandwiches before our bible study. I asked her to pick up a beach club #12 on wheat without mayonnaise and I got a sandwich in wheat bread with a small amount of turkey compared to what I'm used to on the beach club cut in half and nothing else. My boyfriend's mom got the turkey Tom sandwich that was also messed up. She called the store to let them know the mistake and asked if they could deliver the correct sandwiches because her house is less than a mile away and has had sandwiches delivered before. The manager said that he would be happy to swap them out if we came in the store but could not deliver them to us. After some arguing the manager said he would refund my boyfriend's mom for her purchase but couldn't do anything else. I am happy that she was refunded but extremely bummed about them not willing to go the extra mile to make the situation right by delivering the sandwiches. read more

I prefer these sandwiches over subway. I like the smell of fresh bread when I walk in. There are usually a handful of teenagers working behind the counter who have trouble smiling at people. If I could give this place no stars I would. Went in to grab a sandwich with my son who has never been. 1st thing that happens is they made my sandwich wrong. Unwich that they made with bread. Fine. No biggie. Then the manager on duty as he kept calling himself loudly complained about other customers. First it was a delivery problem. He said highlands ranch condos are hard to get into and that the lady should've provided better directions knowing she lives in a place like that. He said he's sick of people complaining and if they want a sandwich maybe they should "get off their @ss and make it themselves". Then he was complaining about another customer wanting something on the side. He said it was corporate's policy and if they didn't like it too bad because he's the manager and what he says goes. The best thing about JJs is that they allow teenagers an oppurtunity to master the art of fast sandwich making. Just by peeking over the counter past the sandwich assembly line, I quickly discover that the secret is in the mayo....Hellmans mayo that is...it's far better than kraft and best. We live less than 3 blocks from the store and on average it takes 45+min for our food to arrive and we are lucky if the order is correct (yes, I Know I can go there myself to get it, but some days you just don't want to leave the house). This location needs some serious help. Placed an order online early in the A.M giving them plenty of time to get ready for the day. They were 30 min late, the sandwiches were not all correct and were very sloppy. This is the 2nd time I tried to order a large order from them and won't do it again. I ordered online so they wouldn't get my order wrong, but they still did. There was some paper that was stuck to the bottom of my sub. Good thing I picked it off before eating it. Prices went up about a month or two ago (inflation, obamacare, who knows?). I agree with others that this location is a bad one compared to most other Jimmy Johns. Also, there door has been squeaking at a high-pitch for the past six months and I guess they are too lazy to oil it up. High-frequencies all day make tinnitus worse. They don't have napkins either. Mostly teenagers work at this location (DUH it's a fast food restaurant) but I have found that they are always polite and respectful. I've ordered from this store tens of times and I've never had a problem. The food is fine, they are pretty freaky fast. One time I got my order before the store officially opened. The only negative is that they don't deliver outside of a mile, so while I can order at work, I can't get a delivery at my house, which is 1.7 miles away.
