The main thing about Jimmy John's is that it's fast. I ordered here a couple of times. First time I got a Big John, which is pretty much a roast beef sandwich. The sub itself didn't have a lot of meat which was a bit surprising, but it was fast. I thought it had a little too much mayo as well. Maybe it's just me. The second time I got a JJ Gargantuan this time without mayo, and it was fast, and great. I recommend getting the sandwiches with the pickle, which is a large dill pickle cut into fours and goes great with sandwiches. read more

Do you love shredded lettuce? I mean really LOVE shredded lettuce? Do you dream about hoagie buns bursting with big, billow-y bushels of the blandness? Then Jimmy John's is for you. This location is 1.2 miles away from me. I've heard great things about their delivery service. Got on website, created order and then found out they don't deliver to my street. They do deliver to a street connected to mine. It's 1.2 miles away!!! Really disappointed. So ordered food from another sandwich place 5 miles away. What a joke. So, right up front, I'll tell you that it was late at night (just saw the 3rd Hobbit movie - fantastic!) and my wife tells me I get a bit grumpy when I haven't eaten. However... This was our second choice. The Lenny's down the street closed early, so my wife suggested JJ's. We had tried this when they opened about ~6 years ago, and I was pretty disappointed in the choices and the sandwich, so haven't been back since. I ordered my sandwich (Vito on white) and noticed out of the corner of my eye that they were already making my sandwich while my wife ordered her sandwich and I paid. When were they going to ask me what I wanted on my sandwich? The answer? NEVER! So I get a sandwich with pretty mediocre meat (I'm used to the premium, freshly sliced meat from Lenny's), NO MAYO, NO MUSTARD, and NO PICKLES! I know! Right? (OK, it's just a sandwich, but remember, I was hungry and grumpy.) I asked him why he didn't ask me what I wanted on the sandwich, and said that I wanted mustard on the sandwich. He says (I'm not kidding), "We don't have mustard, we have Dijon." And THEN, he offered me some yellow mustard packets. I handed them back to him and said that I have some real mustard at home. BTW, the shelves behind the sandwich making area have literally DOZENS of jars of Dijon and Helman's mayo. I guess the reason that they have so many is that they never actually use them. Did I mention that I didn't get any mayo either? So this morning I go to Yelp and discover that this kind of "I don't give a c**p" stuff has been going on for years at this location. The management is completely to blame for not properly training their employees, and not establishing a culture of service. Next time I'm out of options and want a sandwich, I'll certainly NOT go to JJ's. BTW, the Jimmy John's feedback link on their corporate site doesn't work. (Gasp!) read more

Great sandwich! I would rate it higher than other sandwich chains except Firehouse, which I'm a big fan of. The bread here always seems really fresh and the service is super fast and friendly. The Italian is my favorite, the BLT is good, and my buddy swears by the tuna. Check it out! read more

I was out of town and ordered online from the hotel. I didn't know how this would work, or if it would. I choose as soon as possible for the time and it was delivered within an hour. The second time I chose a specific time in which it was delivered in the specified time frame. Good sandwiches especially when you are at a hotel without a car and that doesn't serve lunch. I must admit, I am love with this place!!!! The bread is easily the best I've ever had at a chain sub shop. I've been to Jimmy Johns at least once a week since they opened and find the the speed, quality, and taste simply destroys everyone else in town. I also like the fact I can go in, order my #2 "Big John" chips and a drink, pay my $7 even and be gone in less than a minute. An earlier review compared them to Subway, but that seems a bit ridiculous. I was told that Jimmy Johns is the only place that still prepares all their own veggies and truly bakes their own bread. Enough rambling.... I love me some Jimmy! The bread is unbeatable, the meat is fantastic and the speed is unmatched. As a side note, my wife loves the tuna here and would like my to tell the ladies out there that they have some of the cleanest bathrooms she has ever seen. read more

This place is great, after 3 deliveries they have always arrived in under 10 minutes. One time they showed up in under 5. As soon as you hang up the phone they are en route! And the delivery price is very reasonable, i would even say a little on the cheap side! Love jimmy johns! read more

Good sandwiches here. I enjoy the Italian by Night sandwich. Bread is not too hard and everything just melds together with the vinaigrette. Why 3 stars? Because I think the staff is a little unprofessional. I was driving by there one night and was stopped at the light at white station and poplar. What do I see through the window? 2 employees slapping one another with towels, jumping all around behind the counter, and throwing bread at one another. They need to be more cognizant of the fact that a person on the outside can see very well into the shop when the lights are on and it's dark outside. read more

Awful service today. I ordered late yesterday for a great event. The order taken was not familiar with the order process. They ran my card for $232.00 payment. Then they had to void the order and said the only way to get the order processed was to resubmit the order, run the card again and it would take 2 -3 days to get my original $232 payment processed. Food arrived with no napkins, condiments and the plates promised was actually saucers. I called to complain to the manager who acted "bothered" with my call and finally said, with no emotion, that she apologized. I was very embarrassed at my business luncheon and all because of their obvious issues that are system within that particular store, including with the Manager. Jimmy Johns should be embarrassed too but based on the attitude I received from the store manager today, they are not embarrassed in the least. If I could give this particular Jimmy Johns 0 stars I would. I ordered a vito sandwich for delivery and it arrived with no meat. I called and they said they would send a replacement sub. One hour later no sub I call and they say that my sandwich was not incorrect and they would not be sending a replacement. I paid by credit card online and they refused to give me a refund for a sandwich that was only lettuce and bread and they did not even replace my sandwich. Needless to say Jimmy Johns has forever lost my business and I suggest you take your business elsewhere as well. read more

I love Jimmy John sandwiches and this is my first disappointment. I ordered an 8" roast beef and considering I've been eating roast beef sandwiches for over 40 years I am pretty familiar with the 2 places I order my roast beef from. Hardly any meat did I receive for $6.50 plus delivery tip. Now I'm down to 1. It was great while it lasted. All the subs are cold cut, so if it happens to sit on the counter when you don't hear the workers call out the sandwich that you order, it doesn't get any colder. Just pay attention, and don't talk on your phone during the ordering process and your mind will be blown at how quickly they get finished preparing your food. Also, they carry mustard and mayo on the side. I would give them 5 stars if they increased their variety of toppings or included salt and pepper, but otherwise, I'm extremely satisfied by the service and the food. read more

We are extremely disappointed in this Jimmy Johns. My colleagues and I work in a business down the street that is 1.7 miles away from this Jimmy Johns. We FREQUENTLY order delivery from this Location and have had no problems. We tried to order lunch today, and they said they don't deliver to our location. I told them that we order almost every single week and have had no issues but the gentleman on the phone said they have NEVER been allowed to deliver to our location since they opened. They have delivered to every department in our 5 story building on a weekly bases. The man was extremely rude and used a very ill mannered tone of voice. My manager picks up the phone to talk to them and the gentleman says he is the franchise owner and that they refuse to deliver to us. We would have had no issues if the gentleman would have politely explained to us that they "weren't supposed to be delivering to you in the first place and apologize for the inconvenience" but we never received that. The food is great; however it is a shame the owner is so rude and disrespectful to a business who has honored and supported his business from the start. Horrible!! I ordered my food for lunch my girlfriend goes to pick it up when I get it what I ordered ONLINE it was missing half the things I put on it which was very frustrating seeing is how the order was placed online I mean what kind of idiots can't read (not all employees) and the also managed to mess up a simple order my gf placed in the store. So I called the so called manager (Bill) who is either a family member of the owner or just doesn't give a crap about his job does nothing at all didn't ask to replace it, did absolutely nothing just was like ol well. So I didn't eat it after his I don't give a #$# attitude so I went to Lenny's (much better by the way) and order more food and took Jimmy Johns there food back when I got off. So the so called Manager Bill tells me he can't give me a refund because they do not do refunds because of there policy so I tell him its not posted anywhere and by law that has to be posted and I also tell him that if he had asked to remake my sub and acted like he has any kinda of customer service I wouldn't have wanted a refund but now I do because of his horrible management. So he tells me no so I ask him to contact the owner and he didn't want to do that, Until I say well i'm gonna call the cops that's when he says really dude and I say yes you stole my money so then he decides to call the owner which didn't answer so I leave my number and I also get corporates number but I still haven't heard from the owner about my refund and i'm still waiting to see what corporate will do if nothing Attorney here I come which will only cost me $135 that I will get back later but its the simple fact that I have to go through so much to get a $9 refund wow Really Jimmy Johns!! DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE food isn't that great anyway. read more
