My favorite place and my kids love it! Always freaky fast and delicious. Any issue I've ever had... which has only ever been an incorrect order, has been corrected promptly! Today I've been running around and my little guy just wanted a sandwich, so off to JJs. Quickly ordered, grabbed bag of sandwiches and off to home. Sadly we arrived home to an incorrect order. Not impressed all. My sandwich looked like someone stepped on it before they wrapped it. The employees didn't seem knowledgable and didn't smile at all. They have no kids meals, which is surprising. I went to pick up food for my family last night at 9:35 pm. 25 mins before they are scheduled to close. The kid working there first told me they were out of bread but when I said I'd take the lettuce wrap he changed his story to him being out of everything. Clearly he just wanted to close early and go enjoy his Friday night. If you're advertised to be open until 10 I'd suggest actually staying open till then and certainly don't make up some bogus lie about being a sandwich shop being out of bread. I've had several deliveries from this location. They're always fast and very friendly. The sandwich is on point too. I'm glad this location opened up because I live really close by, I will be eating here a lot. We have tried MANY sandwich shops and our number choice was the Godmother at Bay City Deli in Santa Monica until we tried Jimmy Johns. Love these sandwiches. We have ordered from JJ to feed family, friends, neighbors, play dates, our electrician, and everyone has had an over the top positive response. My electrician who lives in Valencia hadn't heard of Jimmy Johns and I got him a #11 and his exact response: "wow... What is this? It's REALLY good". The bread is key. But also they don't skimp on meat like most sandwich shops, and they don't over-do it with lettuce like Jersey Mikes. The sandwiches are consistently good and taste fresh and high quality. My review is based off of their BLT sandwich since that was the first and last thing I have tried at this sandwich shop. 8 inches of decent bread with two of the thinest pieces of bacon you have ever seen. I added avocado which ended up being a very small spread of processed avocado or guac mixture. First bite tasted like mayo due to the lack of meat and avocado. Ended up folding the bacon into one small corner of the sandwich in an attempt to enjoy one bite before throwing out 7 inches of bread covered in lettuce. i've always gone to jimmy johns it's my favorite sandwich place cause subway is gross and jersey mikes is trash(i have strong opinions) i decided to order the Giant jimmy because then i could cut it in half and have one half for dinner and the other for lunch. I was so excited i put my favorite i teams on the sandwich pickles, jimmy mustard, dijon mustard, onion, no cheese, no mayo, avocado spread I think it's important to add i'm vegan to i ordered the veggie. I got my sandwich which had cheese and they put the avo in the cheese so it was not salvageable I then noticed there were no pickles, no mustard, no dijon mustard, it was lettuce tomatoe onion and bread I ORDERED A $16 sandwich to only get LETTUCE, TOMATOE,ONION,AND BREAD. i also painted extra to get lots of pickles. Went to Jimmy Johns for the first time because The Habit was so crowded. I should have waited at The Habit. Jimmy Johns was pretty empty. I know why now. I ordered a turkey and a roast beef sandwich to go. 12 plus dollars later, they gave me two sandwiches with no bag or napkins. I got home and one was a ham sandwich (no roast beef). There was so little meat on the sandwiches that they could have been considered vegetarian. With Dink's next door serving real sandwiches, this place will be gone in a couple months. My husband & I thought we would try it out since we are in Granary Square often, but very disappointed not only were the sandwiches mediocre there wasn't much on the sandwiches to begin with, no dressings, very dry. We ordered the Vito and when we got it, which was fast, it was simply dry. I asked a short skinny blonde woman behind the counter if I could have some extra dressing, she seemed like she was in charge but man what a rude woman. She barked back at me and then told another girl to get it. Really? Where is your customer service? I CHOOSE to spend my money in your establishment, and you are going to be rude? I will CHOOSE to spend my money elsewhere, not to mention the sandwiches are overpriced. Not impressed all. I love Jimmy John's but eating here was like eating at a place I have never eaten, and will never eat again. One of the things I love about Jimmy John's is the size of the sandwiches. When my wife and I got ours at this one they were a bit on the light side, dry, and seemed rushed together. When I mentioned it to the woman behind the counter I was very polite. I asked for the manager and the woman behind the counter said she was the owner. You would have thought I just insulted the honor of her family with the reaction I got when I explained my concern. She went on to explain in a not very nice way that all Jimmy John's make their sandwiches the same way. I explained that I have eaten at others and the quality of the food was better. Her reaction was basically if you don't like it, don't eat it. My wife and I left..... Next time I'm in that area and want a sandwich I'll take her advice. read more
