It's been a while since the last time I visited Jimmy John's location because the service is slow and the employees kinda sketchy but after my visit on Sunday 4/26/26 I will never go back. I went through the drive through for a quick sandwich. They are definitely "freaky fast" but here's the kicker. The guy working the drive through took my order and gave me my total, $10.96. I rolled up to the window and handed the guy a $20 bill. He gave me my change ($5.05) at the same time he handed me my sandwich. I got out of line because there was someone behind me but stopped in the parking lot to double check the change because it didn't sound correct. I was right. My change should've been $9.04 not $5.05. I know nobody deals with pennies anymore but I was shorted $4.00. I went back in and spoke to the employee who was working (there were only two in the restaurant) and he didn't even question me; didn't even look at the receipt. He just went to the register and pulled out the rest of my change. It was like he knew what they were doing because I had used cash. I don't even know how this franchise makes any money because there are never any lines at the drive through or crowds at the counter like there were when they first opened. It's like a nobody cares. I will never go back and I recommend anybody handing these clowns cash double check your change. read more

Stopped here to grab a quick sandwich for dinner and decided to try the drive thru. The person taking our order was not thrilled to be there. We mentioned wanting multi grain bread for one of the sandwiches and he mumbled saying ok. Whenever we tried ordering something he sounded confused and like he didn't understand what we were talking about. Whenever we ordered we mentioned wanting a combo meal which offers a drink and side. He didn't ask once what side we wanted or drink so we had to tell him after ordering the sandwiches. Usually when ordering, you're asked what side and drink. He didn't mention options for drinks or sides. Once we got to the window, no one acknowledged us, took our payment, said anything for almost 10 mins. Once the guy got to the window he was rude and short. We got home with our food and there was no bottled water in the bag and the sandwich we ordered with the multi grain bread was wrong. I've always ordered from here through delivery. They are always fast. But today and the last time they have been kinda slow. 25 minutes later and they still haven't had my sandwich out the door. I'm gonna assume I've hit them during a rush last two times I've ordered. Update: they finally brought my food. It took 25 mins which is a normal delivery time. Not the usual freaky fast time but the first thing the delivery guy did when I opened the door was apologize so no harm done. 4/5 overall including how good the food is. I've ordered from here a few times giving them 3 "second chances." Even after I was lied to after my first order by the "manager" telling me that they would cover my next order because of it taking almost 2 hours to deliver. 45 min to assemble and a little over an hour to deliver. I wasn't covered on my next order which was not too big of a deal for me, just hate being lied to. The sandwich was not cut in half the four times I've ordered from them. This is not the only jimmy johns I've been to or ordered from. But this is the only one that constantly screws up every single time. My roommate even orders from them quite often 3-4 times a month. The bread is fresh. That's all I have to say. I mean that's all I have good to say. You through their stuff together so fast that it's disgusting. Do you realize this is a product that somebody might be eating for dinner????? Do you train your employees? Do you teach them that what they are bringing to us is something we are going to eat? Why not save your time and just throw everything into a basket? I don't think anything has ever been good and we ordering it from you frequency. Because my husband doesn't care what he eats when he's tired from a hard days and he doesn't know what time it's going to be home for dinner. This location has lost a customer for life. Walked out & will NEVER darken the steps of this location ever again. Attempted to order the same sandwich I always order. The #15 Club Tuna UNWICH. I asked for extra lettuce leaves AS. I. ALWAYS. HAVE. Manager flatly refused, saying that the unwiches are to be made using only 2 leaves of lettuce, and that if I wanted extra lettuce leaves, he would have to charge me for TWO sandwiches--just to wrap the sandwich in 2 extra pieces of lettuce. What would I do for lunch on a really busy work day without Jimmy John's? The meats are quality. There is a huge amount of lettuce & tomato, which satisfies my desire to eat healthy while still doing fast food. And they really are hoppin' fast. The bread is fabulous. Normally the bread on a sub overpowers the ingredients. But Jimmy John's is a light quality complement. Be sure to order it cut in half to savor the flavor. The optional avocado spread is a great healthy alternative to yukky mayonnaise. It's especially good with the roast beef. The tuna is one of my regular orders. A suggestion that would make the taste perfect is to omit the onions entirely & replace with pickle relish. Jimmy John's - Are you listening? I know you are proud of the tuna recipe. But drop the onions, please. Delivery orders are SOOO easy on-line. Save your favorites & include all your instructions. When I work, when my business is closed on the weekend, my instructions include "Knock on the door. The "Closed" sign is up." They always handle it with vigor. This is my usual go to lunch spot. My orders are always accurate and delivery is fast! Today I was feeling cheap and picked up my lunch after ordering online, and I was greeted promptly and the restaurant was clean. The staff seemed very friendly. The sandwiches are delicious and neatly prepared! I always order the #9. You can't go wrong with an Italian sandwich! I don't have any complaints about this location! Delivery took almost an hour (even in the rain, driving a cold sandwich to an office less than 1 mile away is ridiculous), and the wheat bread had a very odd, almost bitter aftertaste to it. Pros: All ingredients of sandwiches were fresh. The BBQ potato chips cooked in 100% peanut oil and no preservatives added, in addition to the thinny chips (40% less fat than traditional potato chips), tasted fine. The crunchy salt & vinegar chips were average. Cons: The overpriced offering was unhealthy and not 'gourmet' sandwiches. The vegetarian sandwich has little nutritious value with shredded iceberg lettuce, mayonnaise, Swiss cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes slices. There was too much mayonnaise and Swiss cheese slices in this vegetarian sandwich to be good for cholesterol. The guacamole added in one of the vegetarian sandwich was bland. The ham and cheese sandwich had very little meat and too much mayonnaise. The beef sandwich was average. The tuna sandwich had a weird and unpleasant texture. The texture of the tuna was made of dust of fish. The taste profile of sandwiches was a good white bread with too much mayonnaise and few ingredients inside. read more

The family and I hit up this drive thru because we didn't want greasy fast food and my wife had decent experience with the one in town center of Virginia beach. The subs were delicious but a bit pricey. For 20 dollars we had three 8 inch subs and a drink. The bread tasted fresh and was just the way I like it. Over all. Used to order here, I get people make mistakes, at least own it. Don't blame it on being busy, we all get busy at work. So an hour after my food arrived I still have no drink. Went in for a quick bite to eat and the two guys acted like we were bothering them as soon as we walked in. We asked for napkins and they showed us where they were, which were over the counter. When we open the sand which it wasn't cut which wasn't a big deal but we asked to have it cut because it's easier to eat and they laughed and acted like it was bothering them. First I would like to say I love these sandwiches. What I don't love is ordering a sandwich with specific ingredients and getting a sandwich made by a person who makes it however they want. It was mostly right but today I didn't want lettuce and I got extra tomato which I did not ask for. So the order was not taken correctly or executed correctly. Mostly right is not good enough when I am paying $7 for a sandwich. Plus this is not the first time this has happened to me and from the reviews it is a frequent problem. Come on, is it really so hard? Should I just order next time by saying "Just fix it however you want, you will anyway. " If this wasn't a problem, my review would be 5 stars. read more
