Some the best garlic knots I've ever had-soft and drenched in olive oil (the good kind) and parmesan cheese (you can also get the olive oil and cheese on the side too)! Overall, very good pizza place. Friendly staff. As others have described, not much to look at physically - just order at the counter and they'll bring it out to you. We ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza, and a slice of cheese. Contrary to another reviewer, we thought the whole pizza was much better than the slice. I think the freshness is better. The slice tended to get really cooked on the bottom. In contrast, the whole pizza was cooked just right - thin crust, not greasy. The sausage was good. The mushrooms just so-so. In a metro area devoid of good pizza, this is about the best we've come across. But we're still looking. read more

The food there is really good. I have been there several times. Usually I get the unlimited slices special. The slices don't look like much when you view the trays, but wait until it comes out of the oven. The crust is not greasy at all. I have also tried the spaghetti and meatballs, too and it is as good as my mom's homemade sauce. Lastly, the cannoli are awesome. Made fresh and not too sweet. The only negative is that the dining room really needs a makeover. And all of the lights except the "A" in pizza are burned out on the outside sign. I recently moved from Marietta, and the thing I miss the most, is Saparitos. Great New York Style Pizza with great toppings. Staff were always friendly. And the all you can eat 7.99 lunch deal is worth it. Even if you're not hungry, the staff will allow you to pay by the alive if you only have one or two. Just finished eating here and it was really great! My son are in town from Louisiana playing baseball for a week and wanted some really great authentic pizza. This place is marginal at best. We ordered garlic knots and a cheese pizza. The garlic knots were old, hard and stale and didn't have any marinara sauce with them, nor did they ask or offer. The pizza crust was good and that's the reason for the second star. The pizza sauce tastes like it was fresh from a can and not enough cheese. When asked for napkins for our to go order they were less than thrilled to spare them. I don't live in this area so there's really no need for me to ever go back! read more

Went for the all you can eat pizza. Every slice I tried was delicious. I had two white pizzas, one with sausage and pepperoni and the other with spinach and tomato. Both were delicious. I had the buffalo chicken, which was impressively good. Most pizza places fail with the buffalo chicken, but this place nailed it. The staff were very nice and friendly. They answered any questions I had and even welcomed me to the neighborhood since I just moved here. I will definitely be coming back here. Plus they deliver. To be fair the pizza looked fantastic, and given the many smiling faces eating it, I'd guess it was. I on the other hand ordered a toasted ham and cheese grinder with lettuce, tomato, mayo. What I got wasn't even up to Subways pathetic standards. Ham laid out end to end, no overlap, just two sad pieces of ham and provolone cheese. Sparsely laid out lettuce & tomato and no mayo. He asked twice if I wanted onion, and I said no thank you, I have an onion allergy. Rather than putting mayo on it, they gave me an onion salad dressing. Very considerate. For $10.15 I was expecting to smile like the dolt that made the sandwich. Not to happen. I would have taken it back but I got it to go as my car was being worked on. Our FAVORITE pizza place...and being from NJ that is a HUGE compliment cause most native Atlantans have no idea what REAL pizza is :) Their white pizza with spinach and tomato and their stuffed eggplant are my favorite special items, but a good fresh slice of cheese pepperoni pizza cannot be beat on a regular day. The staff is just like in your favorite pizza "joint" at home...fun, friendly regular guys who appreciate and get to know their "regular" customers:) If you have never tried a "real" slice of NY style pizza, and even if you have and wasn't impressed, go to Sap's and try the BEST!!! They just opened a new location at the corner of Barrett pkwy and 41 - by no means a "chain" like experience...some of the same guys from the other store making the exact same delicious pizza every time! read more

I'm going to confess. I tried to order a pizza from two major chains and received such poor service that I decided to order from a tried-and-true that might be more expensive. This is after wasting 45 minutes trying to order from the chains. It only took me approximately 30 seconds to place my order from Saporito's, if that. No questions were asked my delivery was made on time and I may have paid a little more but I received better customer service and a better quality pizza. Personally, I'm done with the large corporation/chains for service, quality and pizza. I'll stick with the best. I'm sorry I ever deviated. Did not try the "regular" pizza but my wife and I had our first go at this place with one of their stuffed pies; call me impressed. They did not skimp on the toppings and the crust had an enjoyable pastry type quality to it, was not overcooked and was just the right amount of crispy and almost flaky. The marinara sauce was ever so slightly too sweet for my tastes but I would not turn down seconds. All and all, we will be going back. Extra bonus, my wife actually went in to pick up our pie as we did take out and stated that the staff was very friendly and personable read more

This place is great! We've been ordering from Saporito's for years now. Outside of the food being great, the driver, Tom, is always friendly, courteous, and a pleasure. I had pretty low expectations when I headed here after a Google search for "pizza by the slice". I was even less hopeful when I saw the AYCE billboard for their lunch special. I was thinking Cici's. They changed my mind right away. Feels like a little NY pizza shop. The pizza was really good (I like thin, NY-style), the little Greek salad was fresh, and the feta dressing was outstanding. Look past the location (attached to a Marshall's for Pete's sake) and give it a try. Really friendly staff and quick service. I've spent too many meals at my local Johnny's Pizza. This place has good pizza. I have been trying out all the pizza places in the area and they have some of the best NY style pies. The dough/crust is top notch. I like to pick up my orders on my way home from work and my only comment would be that the guys on the phone say it will take 25-30 minutes to be ready. Not a huge deal but most pizza restaurants will have a pick-up order ready in 15 minutes or so. I think they have it ready in a faster timeframe but are trying to hedge against making people wait so they say it will be longer than it really is. read more

Great pie! The owner made a whole cheese pie for me even though they were about to close. I'm from NY and this place has a great NY pizza place fee to it and the pie itself is great! The slices are crunchy and can be good; however, the tomato sauce could be better-still the pizza there is better than in many other places therefore the actual product is 3 1/2 stars. I give this place a 2 star rating because when you walk in the place it has an unpleasant uninviting smell! After a few seconds you do become immune to it. Seating area is not as clean as it should be and some tables have been anchored with old dirty napkins- its time for a makeover. Some of the staff there are very nice but I did experience rude and lazy service one time. read more

Filthy seating area combined with NO service at all (can't even be bothered to clean off tables and the staff was busy laughing and joking) and the food? BLAH pizza, sorry to say (and I was thinking it would be great based on other reviews) and the chick-parm sandwich was a greasy, soggy mess that was almost inedible. I have always supported this place as a family-owned small business. We ordered a pizza tonight and only half of the pizza had the toppings we paid for. To top it off, when I took a bite, a long, blonde hair was in the pizza. I have short, dark brown hair. When I called to speak to someone, I was kept on hold for 10 minutes. I stop here for a slice when visiting relatives in the area. They are no frills and consistently make good pies. This is not 'fast food' pizza but you can get a quick slice if you want. This is the best NY style pizza you will find in the North Atlanta metro area. I'm a NY transplant and what some call pizza down here is cardboard with tomatoes and cheese up in NYC. I hadn't been there (on Roswell Rd.) for a couple of years because it was a bit far away, but now they have one in Kennesaw off of 41 where the Taco Bell sits next to the highway. I am from the N.Y. City, eastern N.J. area and have lived down here since 87'. This is the best pizza I have ever had in this part of the country.The best crust, cheeses and meats and veggies anywhere. Their garlic cheese rolls are very good, also. You can buy by the slice and they have all you can eat lunches , if you so wish. My problem now is not going too often and getting fat. read more
