It mimics the old fashioned cocktail but without the dry ice effect. The coffee looks dense and at the rim of the cup has some orange peels left. I gave it a sip, no sugar and boy it was rich. Rich and delicious, with a hint of orange scent, not overpowering but has presence. I like the consistent texture and flavor throughout the entire cup and at the end there was a slice of dried orange lying at the bottom of the cup, proudly announcing that it has done all the amazing job of this one cup journey. So there's my review, of this two location coffee shop's great product, a creative coffee drink w solid flavors.

She explicitly lied to me, claiming, "They are ready, sorry," and quickly charged me $18. That was completely untrue. After paying, I was forced to wait 14 minutes for two simple iced coffees. To make matters worse, I watched her serve iced coffees to other tables while completely ignoring mine. When I finally asked her why there was such a delay since she claimed they were already made, she completely flipped, gave me massive attitude, and was incredibly rude. To top it all off: The Drinks Were Awful: The vanilla and caramel iced coffees had absolutely no flavor. They just tasted like bitter, strong coffee. $18 straight into the garbage. No Receipt Provided: When I asked for my receipt, she flat-out refused or failed to provide it to me. The owner seriously needs to look into this employee's behavior and attitude toward paying customers. Lying to prevent a cancellation and then giving attitude when caught is completely unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere that values honesty and basic customer service.

My mom who usually splits one donut over the span of 3-4 days to finish, ate her entire blueberry donut in one sitting without even sharing. They do recommend that you enjoy them asap or to place them in an airtight container so they don't dry out. I did not do so, so my donut dried out (eating a dry but delicious day old donut as i write this). All in all my experience was amazing and I will definitely be coming back to try that guava donut if its there!!! I also recommend checking out and exploring their website. The cucumber cream cheese sandwich was slightly hard to the bite (possibly overripe), but still tasty. The tea menu listed all flavor profiles and decaf options which I appreciated. I ordered a decaf blackberry sage English breakfast which went well with the scone and desserts (fudge, snow cookie, petit four). I enjoyed the warm scones the most, and the savory items second. This is one of the best value afternoon tea services I've found in the Bay Area for the price. Service was well paced and all parties were well situated so that everyone had their own corner. They even had a pile of a tea party hats to choose from towards the back wall. Overall, I would highly recommend Tyme for Tea and it's my favorite tea room I've tried in the East Bay.
