I tried to call John Scott's to see if they're open around this time of year. Online it says open until 10pm. But when I call, it says "we're sorry, your call did not go through." I decided to drive over there anyway. When I arrived, the parking lot was empty and the restaurant looked closed. It's Presidents Day weekend so perhaps they are on vacation. Either way, the status needs to be updated online. Disappointed.

Service: the service was very quick and reliable. Very nice waiters and kind people here. They park your car for you here because they're always busy it may be not ideal for some but you can just do it they won't rob you. You may tip the guy who parked your car, but I was already parked. It felt a little forced in my opinion. Food: the lemonade was too watery I didn't like it that much, it tastes like a basic cheap powder lemonade in my opinion. I ordered the Baja fish tacos. I was blown away by the savory taste of the fish tacos. They tasted like they just got off the boat. An amazing taste and culinary experience. Everybody the tacos was like entering a different dimension of flavor. It was an amazing taste. I loved it a lot. It came with a side of like corn salad. I thought it was OK a little spicy a little kick to it. Very good meal I approve. I love it. I love John Scott. My friend got the basic cheeseburger. My friend thought the burger was wonderful. He described it as beef. He was very happy that the burger was cooked a medium rare as he asked as many places don't cook it as so, very pleasant. My friend Josh got the fish and chips. He thought it was very good The fish and chips had a good crunch to it. He said " the fish was amazing and crispy, you can tell it was beer battered. The fries were so fresh and so delicious amazing experience. The buffalo chicken shrimp is really good my friends said so basically everyone was very happy with their meal I recommend the fish tacos I loved them! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area for good sea food, cheers!

Went on a Sunday afternoon, service was fast and friendly. The food was equally good. Clean table and restaurant. Nice job guys

Visiting lifelong friends in the Hamptons. They recommended this restaurant for lunch. Great choice! Seated promptly in an upbeat manner. Mike, our server was friendly, made good recommendations, and seemed to genuinely inquire about our meal and if we were doing well. Quohouge was tasty, not too bready. Fish tacos were fresh tasting and loaded with fish. The corn-based slaw was refreshingly delicious. I had a lobster with drawn butter, a potato, and corn on the cob. All delicious. I enjoyed some of my wife's crab cakes ... and highly recommend. Montaik draft beer, I think, was tasty. Thanks Mike (see photo) for making a really good meal better!

Typical fried seafood joint. Prices are on par for the area. If you're looking for a place with a water view, you'll find that here but at a distance. The only reason I took off a star is because I got a gnarly sunburn. Before being seated, the hostess mentioned that they only available seat they had was in the sun. We were seated at pretty much the only table without an umbrella.

Four stars is for our Server, Nick and the food. The hostess is miserable. Maybe she's overworked like everyone in the restaurant business this summer? Tables are empty and people are sitting outside waiting to be seated. Minimum of an hour to sit and wait. Bring the bug spray! Great fries!

Good food, great drinks, best vibe/view. Cajun calamari was absolutely delicious, has a kick to it. Bowl of shrimp was SO GOOD, but different. It wasn't spicy, but great so the spices don't get your nails dirty. Best part was the vibe. It is super laid back with the games like cornhole to play in the back. Yes it's the hamptons, but it's still nice to just relax. Only negative - parking. Walk if you can. Very small parking lot and may have to wait

I can eat 10 of these they are so good. It's the stuffed quahog. The other food is ok to me but you can't beat the vibe of this placed

The popcorn shrimp wrap is simple and delicious (and screams for a cold Modelo especial can to wash it down (hint hint @johnscotts)).

Every meal is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. My favorites are the Sweet Basil Chicken (hands down my favorite dish on the menu), the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the Kale Chicken Caesar, and the Truffle Mushroom Arancini. They're all incredible and never disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always friendly whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. Bloody Mary was yummy, my friend's cucumber tequila drink was delicious and we ordered a few things to split. Loved the burger, big enough to split! Catemlized onions on it made the flavor pop big time. I'd skip the buratta because I didn't love the bread and overly sweet balsamic glaze. Tuna tartar was fresh and came out ice cold, love! Our server suggested the Flower Pot for dessert even though we were full and I'm so glad we got it. How cute and what a fun spin on the dirt dessert we all got as kids. No gummy worms on this but awesome choice, adorable presentation and the vanilla ice cream at the bottom was ideal for such a hot day.

We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and let our server know we were there for a special occasion. He treated us extremely well, bought my mom a birthday cocktail and dessert, and walked us through the menu to make recommendations on what we definitely had to try as first timers. For appetizers we had local oysters on the half shell which were fresh and delicious, and shrimp cocktail which was sizable. We went with the endive salad in between which was crisp and well balanced, the honey mustard dressing really brings it all together. We also had the baked clams which were cooked perfectly, and burrata which was so, so creamy. For entrees we ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni which I think might be the best I've ever had. The sauce was rich and perfectly spicy. We also had the whole branzino which was excellent, cooked just right. The steak frites were also the right temperature, and the truffle fries hit the spot. We had the chocolate souffle cake for dessert which was rich and decadent. If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion, I would recommend this place.

I sat at the bar which was a very pretty, classic old school, Irish bar with a polished wood finish. The bartender was friendly and when I first walked in the bar I was surprised to see it empty at 3pm. I couldn't figure out why the bar wasn't packed out with happy hour right around the corner. A few more patrons came in and were talking about city life and how they were just passing through. Felt more transient than local hangout for sure. Also a person who I believed to be the manager reprimanded the bartender for chilling the beer glasses in the wrong ice cooler located under the bar that was meant to be used for drink ice. I thought this was very strange. First off it seemed to be punitive like it wasn't previously addressed in a serious manor. Secondly it was right in front of me, the customer, as a manager myself I would never do that in earshot of a patron. It's hard to convey the tension of the staff in this forum but it felt palpable. Long story short, if they want to bring more people in they should work on a more cohesive vibe. If that was the case I would bump it up a star.
