Beautiful restaurant that accommodates a large number of customers both for dining and cocktail lounging. Very welcoming entry door, parking lot, ramp with railings, restroom, and smooth navigation inside of the restaurant for cane or walker dependent customers. A generous menu of assorted food choices and appetizers. Friendly hostess and waitstaff. Great bartenders. Special occasion dinner or just an evening out with a friend are handled well here. Delicious Veal Johnnys entree followed by a turtle sundae was my delight for the night.

We went here on a Wednesday night for our anniversary and it was a great meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly and they were flavorful. The sides were fabulous. The inside is filled with holiday decorations and it's very joyful. Feels like an old high end supper club. They also gave us a small anniversary cake at the end. It was very kind. Only negative was the house salad was not top notch - it was something you'd experience at Applebees or a similar place - wasn't bad - just not great. We will go there again.

    Fish special.

Was here for a work meeting, had the private room! Lovely ambiance in the restaurant - HUGE and open! Private room was great, intimate and perfect for our group. I got the pork chop duo. It was THE BEST PORK CHOP IVE EVER HAD! You must must must order. Great spot!!!!

We had an incredible dining experience here. Table of 5 sober got to try alot of dishes. The brandy old fashioned were perfect. The server was attentive and friendly and we actually got our own private room. We highly recommend the haystack onion strings and the cheese curd appetizers. The remoulade (?) sauce with the strings was fantastic. One of our diners had the lasagna. It was absolutely enormous and came with a salad and what he described as the best garlic bread ever. He also said the lasagna was the best he's ever had. He's a big eater and barely ate half his meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had an amazing char. The baked potato and the hash brown casserole were both great. We added side scallops and they were huge and tasty. Great meal. Hope to be back soon as there were at least 10 dishes that sound amazing.

We had a wonderful experience at Johnny Manhattan's. The setting is very beautiful - located in the scenic Holy Hill area. Inside the restaurant you'll feel like you're at a swanky steak house. I ordered the lasagna- it was possibly the best I have ever had. The portion was huge and it came with a delicious salad and a slice of tasty garlic bread. My significant ordered the pork chops- he said it was the best he had ever had. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

Should be medium well done steak in the photo. What do you think?

The dining room is comfortable and inviting, and the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed. One of the biggest strengths here is the service. Every visit, the staff has been consistently friendly and attentive. It genuinely feels like you're being welcomed in by family. The Relish bar is also a fantastic touch. Only $5 per person and stocked with a variety of fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other accompaniments. It's a great value and adds to the overall supper club experience. As for the food, meals have consistently tasted fresh, scratch-made, and thoughtfully prepared. We've tried multiple pasta dishes and seafood entrees over several visits, and they've all been excellent. A couple chicken dishes especially stood out. The chicken was honestly some of the most tender I've ever had. The only item that missed the mark was the ribs. They were very tender overall, but the silver skin hadn't been removed, which created some chewiness and hurt the texture a bit. Other than that, we've had consistently great experiences here. Between the welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and quality homemade food, this has become one of our favorite local spots.

The food is always delicious and the perch and baked cod are our favorite fish fry dinners. The Relish Bar doesn't disappoint with fresh and tasty starters such as deviled eggs, pate, etc...and the interior is warm and nicely appointed with beautiful wood work, hunting mounts, lighting and a large fieldstone fireplace. Cozy atmosphere and solid customer service, definitely in the right place. We arrived with a veteran couple. They got us there early, understood the ordering routine and found us a place to sit. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Definitely get the onion rings as they are incredible! Drinks were solidly poured and reasonably priced. We ordered and were surprised by how quickly we were seated. The vegetable tray and bread basket were good. Our meals came out shortly after we were seated. The salads were nice sized and the blue cheese dressing with crumbles was great. Our entrees (ribeye, tenderloin with chicken, prime rib and fish) were all sized nicely and prepared as ordered. My dining partner said the chicken was some of their all-time favorite. My ribeye was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Our dining partners loved their choices. Overall, I'd really like to give 4.5 stars, but my pals at Yelp still don't trust half stars. We all enjoyed our experience and will definitely put this on our list of supper clubs to return to!

Great place for a special occasion, but they don't hit it out of the ballpark every time...maybe 4 out of 5 (hence 4 stars). The food at Palmer's has always been very good. My wife and I have only ever had steak here as entrees. My go to is a med-rare ribeye and my wife always goes with a mid-well filet butterflied (I know, I know...shaking my head as I type that). They also have a really good tomato and fresh mozzarella salad that is a great starter (the balsamic is what makes it stand out). Service here is pretty spot on the majority of the time and all of the people that we have interacted with have been friendly. It can get relatively loud if you are sitting in the main dining room area, and this is where we have always been seated.

First time here…read more Food: We ordered several different beers, and I got the Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet with extra cherries. The drink was okay. Some of the fruit was muddled at the bottom of the glass. It could have used a few more bitters to give it a richer, more complex flavor. For appetizers, we ordered the Haystack Onion Rings and the Smoked Peaches and Brie. The onion rings were good. They came out hot and had a nice breading. Haystack onion rings are usually sliced very thin, and these were thicker, more like regular onion rings. Still, they were very tasty. The Smoked Peaches and Brie was excellent. The peaches had plenty of smoky flavor, and the Brie was nicely melted. It was a generous portion and spread easily on the crostini. For our entrées, we ordered the Texas Brisket Sandwich, the Brisket Platter, and a Cheeseburger. Our food arrived fairly quickly. The brisket was the star of the show. It had a great char, was very tender, and came in generous portions. The cheeseburger was ordered medium-rare, which was emphasized when placing the order, but it came out well done. After bringing it to our server's attention, they had it remade, and the replacement was much better. The sandwiches come standard with "homemade" chips, but I'm not convinced that's what we received. A few of the chips appeared homemade, but the majority looked and tasted like something out of a bag. See my photo for a comparison. Service: I think our server was relatively new, as they weren't able to answer many of our questions. They were nice and efficient, but not especially personable. They did a good job taking our orders, keeping our water and drinks refilled, and handling the final bill. Atmosphere: The place has a great feel to it. The smoker is out front, and the many times I have driven by, the aroma of the smoke has been wonderful. The building has been lovingly restored and maintained. Inside, you can choose to sit either at the bar or in the dining room. It's not a large space, but it didn't feel crowded, and the noise level was low enough to allow for easy conversation. Conclusion: I know this restaurant has gone through a very recent change in ownership, and the menu has had some changes. Perhaps some of the issues we experienced tonight were a result of that transition. I'm definitely interested in coming back. I would love to enjoy another meal featuring their excellent brisket.

I don't think my youngest was super enthused by his pizza, mostly because it's not memorable to him. My oldest liked his chicken strips and fries, but I don't know if he's come across chicken strips and fries that he doesn't like, so take that with a grain of salt. The hash browns were ok. They were just fried potato with no other flavor or add-in like onions. I added salt and pepper because they needed it. I got American cheese on the scrambled eggs and they were as you'd expect. The tenderloin was fine. Obviously not as good of a cut as New York strip or ribeye would have been. I ended up sharing a portion of it with my oldest and he ate it without complaints too. The star of our visit was the coffee cake. It was warm and soft and in every sense perfect. We ordered a couple of appetizers including the meatballs, and a sampler plate with fried mushrooms, duck strips, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Our entrees included the filet, rib steak, bbq ribs, scampi, and french dip. The appetizers were okay. Not a fan of all the heavily fried items. The meatballs were tasty and probably the best of the items. (although the presentation was not very appetizing). We also got served warm bread sticks, and honestly I love warm bread but they seemed over warmed and tough. I did not finish mine. My Lobster was very good. The other parts of the meal were subpar. The salad seemed whilty and the vegetable medley was over cooked and flavorless. Tried some of the items. The filet, and rib steak were both excellent. The bbq ribs were okay, but a little overcooked (i like to have a little chew). They stopped over with the dessert tray and were very persuasive. Did save a little room for the Peanut Butter Brownie Torte. That was very good. The evening was kind of mixed bag. The service was spotty and some of the food items were not remarkable. If I went back I would skip the appetizers and just focus on the steak and lobster choices. The prices are reasonable, so perhaps its a good value for some customers.
