Excellent customer service & food! They know me by my order now, the Surf & Turf! A combo of the Lobster & Prime Rib Melts! I order this every time I go in. The first time I ordered it was at the Airport location. I asked if they did a Surf & Turf & they said no. I told the manager that since they had lobster & prime rib, they should combine it like they do at restaurants. She said it sounded good & I asked if they could do it. She said yes and the Surf & Turf was born! You won't see it on the menu (it should be!) so you have to ask for it (a prime rib or lobster melt and add lobster or prime rib). Jolene's replaced Teddy's Bigger Burger in Ewa and it definitely is welcomed. We ordered the $20 lobster roll (of course) combo (chowder for $1) and the $10 fried chicken sandwich combo (tomato bisque for $1). Pricy but needless to say it was well worth it. Where else are we getting a lobster roll in the west side? The chicken sandwich was humongous as in they used the entire bird! Has a slight kick but very tasty. We were excited to come try this spot! They seem to always be busy and by the look of the inside (a little less clean then I like) they were busy as usual. We ordered the Buttah Lobster Roll and Melt with fries and a peach tea. For the price you'd hope their special creamy sauce on the side was included. Ordered a Lobster roll but got a Lobster Cheese Melt. Not sure how the two sound the same. I did not say the word "cheese" or "melt". I waited for so long and didn't want to go back and complain. The melt was ok but I'm not a huge fan of melts, since I don't really eat cheese or dairy. I just ate half to fill my stomach with something. I don't think I'll be eating the other half. The girl should've read back my order. She only said "just the sandwich" which I assumed she meant the Lobster Roll. Before coming home, I've seen so many people visit Jolene's for their Lobster roll. Of course, this is something new for me, since I've never had one, let alone, it's new in Ewa Beach! My bf and I decided to try it... we ordered online for pick-up at their Ewa Beach location. I personally didn't like that waffle fries were used for their brisket fries. It was alright, we were going home (less than 5 mins away) and it was already cold and soggy. Their lobster roll was obviously on the saltier side because of the lobster but it was also dry to me. I think some garlic aioli sauce would've made a BIG difference. My bf also ordered their wonton soup & he said the broth didn't have any flavor and ended up dumping it. Maybe I'll give it another try the next time we come home, but to try their other items on the menu. read more

Love stopping by here any chance I get. Kinda pricey so I come here for a well-deserved meal after payday! Lobster rolls actually have a reasonable amount of lobster. We were recommended to go here by a friend, but it was a horrible experience. I got the Lobster Melt as recommended with waffle fries and a side of their special sauce wontons. The Lobster Melt had this horrible liquid texture. The fries were soggy and undercooked. The wontons were really hard and the sauce that went with it was like this beef sauce. I didn't finish my meal. I just threw it away. Now I have this nasty taste in my mouth that is making me nauseous and I have to run somewhere else to wash this garbage down. Customer Service was outstanding from the greeting to receiving my food. The girls were cheerful and informed me that they're there if I had any questions. This was my first time here, and the food did not disappoint. My husband had the Smoked Brisket Moco and I had the Papa Smokes Burger. so, we had our office order lunch. let me start by saying, I called at 10:30am, after being put on a brief hold, this girl comes on, she is very pleasant and patient with my orders. I ordered a hamburger steak with waffle fries instead of rice, if I had eaten it when it was hot, it would have been better, the waffle fries got really hard even after I microwaved it. but the hamburger and gravy was very very delicious. we also ordered a lobster roll which was extremely big and rich and very scrumptious. The lobster melt was a little too salty and creamy. The buttah burger was awesome, again we ate it when it was not hot. the birria was just okay, wouldn't order it again though. the prime rib roll looks very meaty and juicy, but again we did not eat this hot. read more

When they first opened the Ewa location in 2020 I was influenced by a coworker who is in the Chef Hall of Fame, to try the lobster roll as he had HEARD good things. We got 2 and found amazing flavors and taste but bits of shell. It turned us off to them for a while, but seeing the success and reading reviews it is time to try again. Food has been great but this most recent time (Saturday 6/11/22) we ordered and were disappointed first, we ordered fried chicken and gravy and got NO GRAVY. I called to tell them and got nothing to resolve it but several oh's then, we ordered their special, pork won ton which was steamed and delicious but the dipping sauce, which was should and sesame oil was SO GROSS it was sesame oil sitting in shoyu like sludge, YUCK. A bit of advice on your dipping sauce.. next time maybe vinegar, onion, garlic instead (Filipino style). It won't stop us from ordering but was just not very happy this time around. read more

In the Safeway shopping center. Lobster rolls are really good. We first experienced Lobster Rolls in Boston, Faneuil Hall. We also had the side soups which were not only good tasting but a good value. The lobster rolls are $20 but they are generous with the lobster. We will be back soon for our lobster fix. read more

Second time disappointed with Jolenes here in Ewa. My first experience was the downtown location which was like the best thing I ever had. Was excited to see it opening in ewa. They skimping on the quantity, sandwiches are thinner and lest appealing. I just got a prim rib moco they said that it's now pot roast beef but still charges the same as prime rib cost. The meat was paper thin and very little.My sons fried chicken was over cooked and dry. Will try the downtown store again and see if both location went south. read more

I absolutely love Jolene's! One of my all time go-to's for anything lobster. The only reason this is getting 4 stars is because of the length of time it takes to get the order and the serving sizes being sparse and small for the price you pay.
