My family & I love chicken. Especially Jollibee. The chicken is always juicy & flavorful, & we loooove the gravy it comes with. But as much as I enjoy eating Jollibee, i dislike this location so much. It is very convenient since we live in Kalihi but it feels like a hassle whenever I do come here. I usually go through the drive thru, unless I have a very large order then I take the time to actually go inside & order instead of holding up the drive thru line. The last two times I've gone to this Jollibee they've forgotten things that we've ordered. The first time they forget a WHOLE bucket of chicken. A side maybe a bit okay, but a WHOLE bucket. I didn't realize til we got home & I had to drive back. The second time was a very small order. I dont normally get the hamburger steak, but I don't mind it. But their portion sizes for the hamburger steak are VERY skimpy now. One other plate we ordered was a chicken joy, & there was no gravy included, which was what the person we bought it for was looking forward to. Don't judge, haha. I am proud to say and admit that, I LOVE Jollibee,and that I am a total fan! I am so happy that this location is one of many locations here on the islands. I usually stop here after my Costco gas stop, when I am in the area, or just want something quick. Lately I found a new addiction, the pineapple float, so cool and refreshing, perfect for this super hot weather we been having. The location is sort of out of the way, small parking lot, enter and exiting the premises, and that it is always super busy both drive thru and restaurant. I don't mind, I make my plans before going to Jollibee. Depending which direction I am coming from I either stop here first or after. What I love here and I know its so bad for me but so good. I always. always. always. give up my diet and start again, every time I eat here. My weakness, the fried chicken, fries, and gravy. I love the fried chicken esp. spicy fried chicken. (note. they changed back to the original spicy, which they add the spicy seasoning to the chicken after its fried. I like it this way better) The fries are so thin, crispy, and it just taste really different from your typical fries. I love Jollibee's fries, esp when dipping them in to the gravy. Oh and the spaghetti, another faves, some say its too sweet, but I just love it, I love the spaghetti noodles, sauce, and the sausage. I like to eat mines with some pieces of fried chicken, oh so good!! Tip.,get the pineapple drink, instead of the soft drink. I love the pineapple drink, its a must for me. If I can make it to dessert, I'd have to get the peach mango pie. Super yums!! The halo halo is not the best I've had, its too icy. Jollibee has lots of other goods such as Palabok & Burgers, which I've never tried yet. The pineapple float is available for a limited time only, it is only 2.69 which comes with pineapple juice, vanilla soft serve and pieces of pineapple. I noticed the 2 times I stopped by for the float, it was after 9 pm which they were sold out of soft serve, I finally went for lunch and was super Happy it was available. This was the best pineapple float I've had. I hope to grab more before promo ends. I am not the only one in my family that loves Jollibee, my family does too, everyone's happy when we dine here for our Jollibee fix or I would grab the Jollibee meals and make it a Jollibee night. Jollibee is a jolly good times! I tried their chicken joy, with side of adobo rice and that gravy pour! And their yum burger is like loco moco flavor burger with cheese and yum sauce is delicious and I am a fan of it now. Their banana ketchup spaghetti is really good. It was my first time having it and I was surprisingly I liked it since I was a bit hesitant with a sweeter spaghetti made from banana ketchup so it was fabulous. I was on my way to buy gas at Costco, when I saw this "new" Jollibee location, so I stopped by. There were 4 cars in line at the drive-through, so I decided to go in. The parking lot is small, so I hoped I could get a space. Luckily, a car was backing out, so I considered it a good sign... I entered the clean and organized-looking restaurant and immediately was impressed by the calorie counts posted below each menu item! There was a long line, but it moved quickly. Every seat in the restaurant was filled. I thought I may as try everything since I hardly come into town. I ordered a kids meal spaghetti with pineapple juice and wind-up fishy toy (I'm a sucker for the toys like at McDonald's); a Yum burger; and a two-piece chicken meal with two sides (buttered corn and mashed potato). They have a pager system so you can have a seat while you wait for your order. Since I had time, I checked out the restroom - looked clean; no bad odor; and had a hand dryer (less chance of infection & better for the environment). My order was ready, so I headed off to Costco - long line, but different story... I was kinda hungry so I had the Yum Burger while I waited for gasoline. The bread was okay, the cheese was American, and the patty had an odd consistency - like the meat was not well-ground... Then I discovered the middle - some kind of tasty, thousand island dressing. Too bad it wasn't dispersed evenly over the patty - that would have been better. I guess I'm a methodical eater. When I got home, I had to eat one thing at a time. I'm like that - don't want to be confused. Some people hop all over the place on their plate - not me. I'm a one flavor at a time type person. So I focused on the spaghetti first - if you like sweet sauce, this is it. It was unusual to me, especially since there were pieces of hot dog instead of meatballs or sausage. Well, okay, hot dog is a sausage, right? Next was the corn - yummy!! I like butter and you can sure taste it! I saved some for later and when I took it out of the refrigerator, it was solid! Evidence of butter!! Ah ha! Next victim: the mashed potatoes - good! I liked the brown gravy on the top! Not too salty like other places! Lastly - the chicken... I don't really like chicken, but this is their specialty, so I got it! Very moist and delicious! Good flavor on the skin! No poultry taste - which I do not like - - reminds me of the chickens that run around the parking lot at work... Also, Jolibee included a small container of gravy which you can use to dip your chicken, or add more to your mashed potatoes! I drank the pineapple juice inbetween entrees - very good and refreshing. I don't like it too sweet, so when the ice melted, it was still sweet enough for me. Sad part: the fishy wind-up toy doesn't swim in water! :( Cute, but not functional... So after finally trying Jollibee fried chicken last year, and finding out that their regular fried chicken was kinda blah for me (just my personal taste).........I later found out that Jollibee's actually had a spicy fried chicken. Today, I finally went back today with my friend to try Jollibee's, and upon walking into the little restaurant in Kalihi, the place was packed! I as I waited in line, I saw a two piece chicken deal, with one side, and drink for $6.99. Upon getting to the ordering counter, I promptly ordered two of these $6.99 deals. As for the side dishes you can choose either - white rice, mash potatoes, corn, or fries. I ended picking the mash potatoes for both deals. What can I saw about the 2 piece chicken meal? Well, my friend definitely liked the spicy fried chicken..........I guess he likes the spicy flavor of the Jollibee fried chicken. As for me..........although the spicy fried chicken tasted waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the regular plain fried chicken, truthfully, I was not impressed. The spicy fried chicken was as advertised..........it was a bit spicy, but for me, the flavor did not hit me with the "WOW" factor. I think I would rather eat a two piece Popeye's fried chicken deal. Not only would Popeye's be way cheaper..........but the the fried chicken (to me) taste overall better to me. The manager was rude! I ordered a 12 bucket chicken and when I got home which was about 15 mins away I opened the box and only had 7 pieces of chicken. I called the restaurant and the manager who said that she did my order said she I know I had put 12 pieces of chicken in the box. I know how to count even my daughter counted and only had 7 pieces. So I went down got my 5 pieces of chicken and left. Why would I come back to get 5 pieces of chicken if there was only 7 pieces? Why would I lie about that! I've eaten Jollibee's halo-halo before but I have never tried anything else. So on a whim one day, we decided to check this place out since neither one of us had been here before. Located on the corner of the busy intersection where King Street and Dillingham Blvd meets, it was no surprise that the drive thru had a snake of cars waiting in line. So we opted to dine in. I'm actually glad that we did because the inside was spacious, cool, and clean. We ordered a one piece chicken and spaghetti combo, a two piece chicken and spaghetti combo, and a Jolly Hot Dog to share. The fried chicken was good. The breading was very light and it wasn't greasy like some other places. I would order it again. I have had Filipino style spaghetti before, so it was no surprise to see that there were hotdogs in it and cheese on top. I also expected it to be a little sweet too. However, the spaghetti here had copious amounts of I dunno what, and it was terribly sweet. I would not get this again. As for the Jolly Hot Dog, well, that was interesting. Not sure what kind of sauce was on it, but it was kinda mayonaise-y and mustard-y? Not bad, but probably would not get it again either. Bottom line is that I would go back. Things I have ordered in the past 3 piece chicken dippers with Fries - this was my first order at this location and not only were the fries tasty (because I can't eat overly salted fries) but the chicken and the gravy that comes with it is good. Also, it is the cheapest chicken based meal at $6.99 (with drink included) or $5.99 (without a drink) Jollihotdog - My favorite and I still order this to this day. At $2.49 + tax, this yummy hotdog is filled with creamy cheesy sauce goodness with shredded cheese and a strip of banana ketchup. This item is so popular at dinner time (after 6 pm) that I end up waiting for a new batch of Jollihotdogs to cook...which is at least ten minutes minimum, but it is soooo worth the wait. 1 Piece Chickenjoy with Palabok - first time out of my comfort zone by trying rice noodles with a shrimp base sauce. Again the food was good but I noticed that I end up still wanting more food. I guess it's because by default the chickenjoy included is just a drumstick which I am not a huge fan of because it's so small. This is why I order the 2 piece Chickenjoy with Palabok because it's enough food for $10.98 with tax (drink not included but it does include a pack of lemon juice) The following orders were as recent as a couple months ago and this is where I went full throttle. 2 piece Chickenjoy with JolliSpaghetti - ah yes the spaghetti that is made very differently...starting with shredded ham or beef I forgot haha, chopped up hotdogs, and a sweet style Spaghetti sauce topped with shredded melted cheese. I gotta be honest. I loved it. It's not overly sweet like the internet rumors would claim it to be. I like their spaghetti better than traditional spaghetti Halo Halo - Another item way out of my comfort zone... Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a good picture of it but it was refreshing on a hot day. This item contains various beans, red and green jellies with a lychee type consistency, shredded ice, flan, two types of ??? I have no clue but I know one of them is ube, jackfruit, and I think something to do with coconut is involved. This is priced at $5.49 + tax which is steep but I still think it's worth it. 6 piece Chickenjoy bucket - Loved the chicken but the gravy sucked. I don't know if it was an off day or if the gravy for these orders are made differently but it was bad. Things I have yet to try Peach Mango Pie - sorry I'm allergic to mangoes. Any of their burger items...though at $3.19 for a single yumburger that is the most expensive burger (not counting casual restaurants) I have ever seen. Apparently, there's a chicken sandwich available to purchase by itself or as a combo. There's a reason why I give 4 stars. A long time ago, I used to order with a drink until I saw some really nasty unhygienic stuff at the soda fountain and I thought to myself...never again. Yeah that scarred me for life but I will still come back for their food. P.s. It wasn't until the last few years that I got to appreciate the chain thanks to the cravings of the better half. Sometimes she wants some simple Filipino food, and off to Jollibee we go! This location is convenient for us as it's on the way to lots of shopping opportunities and the movies. Located at the corner of King Street and Dillingham Blvd, it's at the major intersection, which can be a little tricky when turning in. They have a drive-thru for a quick to-go experience, always fast with the orders. Eating in is also pleasant. The restaurant is still fairly new with stuffed faux red leather furniture, mini-booths, and tables for families. People here always seem happy. Ordering is simple with organized lines and bright menus. The main item here is Chickenjoy with a combo item. I'm a big fan of the pancit palabok; zesty noodles with sauce and egg. Their burgers and fries are also yummy, often with a Filipino twist. Prices are low for flavorful food. Honestly, I was pretty sketchy about Jollibee, not because I was expecting it to be bad but because I was expecting it to be your "another standard fast-food restaurant to come to Hawaii" type of a place. I'm glad to say that Jollibee proved me wrong. I had their two-piece chicken which comes with two sides (I forgot to take a picture before I took my first bite because it smelled soo good). For my side, I had their corn and mashed potato. I would say their fried chicken was seasoned well and was fired perfectly. There wasn't any oil under the skin and the skin was nice and crispy. The sides were also really good, nothing special but it was well executed. They also have a lot of other options that you won't normally find at a fast food place, such as spaghetti and pineapple juice. I didn't try their spaghetti but their pineapple juice was nice and strong but it was more on the sweeter side. I would highly suggest people try this place out if you haven't already. The location I went to was in a small mall, so there was plentiful parking. If you can't find parking on top, there is an underground parking lot that is mostly empty. read more

Mostly because it has fried chicken, but they do a good job with it. There is nothing like biting into a crispy piece of chicken and have all the juices and flavor explode in your mouth, especially if you get the spicy chicken. Unfortunately, they ran out of spicy chicken and the wait would have been 17minutes and I didn't want to wait. The sides here are great too. They have rice, fries, mash potatoes, corn, and adobo fried rice (new). It is nice that they added the fried rice because, although the sides are good, they lacked variety or anything special. Every order comes with a side of gravy and you can dip anything into it. The gravy is so good. I would buy a tub for Thanksgiving. The service here is pretty good too. The place is always super clean and they have separate restrooms for women & men. Food/Price: Average prices for a fast food joint, ranging from $5-$12 for a meal combo. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their fried chicken, so crispy and juicy! Their chicken is a must order if you're visiting this establishment. They serve more than just chicken so plenty of other options on the menu for everyone. Service: Their customer service is on point. The workers are always very polite and friendly. The fried chicken is good. The adobo fried rice, meh. Yum cheeseburger is good but not if you dislike condiments. Definitely a place that having someone that speaks Ilocano/tagalog would make ordering a little bit easier. We placed a large walk in order for lunch, and it seems like they get large orders all the time as they have huge plastic bags for huge orders. The lady who was packing our order took a while. She would put everything in a bag, then take everything out and try a new bag. Then start on packing something else, then take everything out again, and try smaller plastic bags. A process that should take less than 1 minute took her more than 10. I appreciated that she was trying to ensure she got our order right, except when we got back to the office, the order was not right. So, morale of the story, if you have a Filipino coworker, they have a better chance of having a better experience than non-Filipino. read more

I love Jollibee! It has become one of my favorite fast food places to order from. The location of this Jollibee is perfect for me because it's less than 5 minutes away from where I live, so I can either walk or drive there! The bad part is the parking lot and drive thru area is so small. The customer service is great, they know how to treat their customers! A lot of the workers are friendly, and very respectful towards their customers. The food is my favorite part about this place! I love their chicken joy meals. The chicken is crunchy on the outside and very juicy on the inside and just full of flavor! Their peach mango pie is the one thing I can't leave there without! It's crunchy, fruity and sweet. Went early in the morning as long as they open. There were already two customers ahead of me. Mistake after mistake. The guy before me got the wrong sandwich. Then another customer after me got rang up diff order. They were confused of all the orders.... this lady name Editha was like always in a hurry... keep taking orders! Lady!!! Check your window!!well I guess they're still half asleep. When it's my turn to get my order, it was my mistake I didn't check before I leave, because I was already running late. I ordered 5 yam burgers with cheese N2(fried chix/spaghetti) and a small fries. When I Got to work and checked it out, it was missing a fried chicken. There's no way to go back and I already threw away my receipt. Took a picture of it. Lesson learned... check before you leave. read more
