    I'll take a 4 peace.

Puts the Meh in Manila. Great service, and the combo seemed like a good deal (coming with a yummy peach mango pie). I also appreciated that they had an efficient, dedicated area for people waiting for their food, nice servers, beeper, and the instragram photo op... But, I am not sure why I had to wait 20 minutes for cold, flavorless fries and chicken remnants. My wife got chicken (plus cole slaw and toast) from a competitor steps away and her tenders were fatter and juicy. Mine were dry and skinny, more breading than chicken. They weren't tenders. They were tinders. Swipe left.

They could describe everything with one single word. You know, like-fried chicken, gnarly. The Katseye x Jollibee collab is wild in the best way. That two-piece chicken? Crispy, saucy, and bold enough to make me say oh my god is this real. It's giving gang, gang energy with every bite; Sweet heat, crunchy skin, and flavor that doesn't hold back. This EYEKONic meal doesn't just slap-it sings. Na-na-na-na-na-gnarly.

I tried Jollibee for the first time. I LOOOOVED the gravy!! Chicken was really crispy, and was perfect with a little bit of rice and gravy. I wasn't huge fan of the spaghetti. It wasn't anything too special imo. Both the korean sauce and the original chicken were delicious. If you get nothing else, get the gravy!!

My husband wanted Chick-fil-A so we went there to order it and then I came here to Jollibee because I've always wanted to try their chicken. Whenever I passed by, there was always a long line so something must be special, right?! Today was my lucky day because there was no one in line so I walked up to the counter and informed the worker that this was my first time so I had a few questions. She answered me but didn't show any patience and I felt like she wanted me to hurry and order. As I was looking at the menu on what to order, she mentioned that I would have to stand in line. I looked back and saw a few people but told her when I walked to the counter, I was the only one in line. A guy next to me overheard our convo and confirmed that I was first and he was next. I gave her my order but was annoyed at her attitude...I should've walked away and ordered at Chick-fil-A. I thought the chicken was nothing special, pricey for 2 pieces of chicken and a small scoop of mashed potato with gravy for $9.99. I hope that Jollibee teaches their workers to be helpful especially to customers patronizing them for the first time. Service is one of the most important things to practice and with all the chicken competition like Raising Cane's and Chick-fil-A at the food court, you'd want your customers to return.

Quality & taste of food is always consistently delicious ! Prices aren't too bad either. Good variety of chicken meals. Staff is always helpful.

    First ever order from Jollibee!

I've had a bite of their spaghetti back in the day and tried some of their fried chicken at a potluck but I've never actually ordered from Jollibee. Due to many random targeted videos that popped up on my feed recently, I decided to finally go check them out. I went to the Ala Moana location around noon on a weekday and the place had a line! I couldn't believe it and it was long. One of their employees walks customer to customer to take their order. They hand write your order on a Post It then hand it to you to hand to the cashier when you finally reach the cashier. It seems that everyone knew what they were going to order. When she got to me, I had to look at the menu she had on hand. She was helpful and guided me through the menu so I could order. Here's what I ordered: Fried Chicken - probably the best item on their menu. As much as I like spicy, I sort of liked their regular fried chicken more. Palabok - this dish was ok. I was told to mix everything up well including mashing the egg into it. The lemon juice definitely was a nice addition to bring acidity it. Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy - this was also ok but the extra gravy is nice to dip pieces of the fried chicken in. I would get this over the Palabok personally. Adobe Rice - I wasn't a huge fan of this as it was rather plain. It lacked flavor for me and I won't order this again. Spicy Chickenwich - this was pretty good and better than I expected. The chicken was fried well where it wasn't oily and still juicy. Peach Mango Pie - their Ube Pie was what I wanted but they didn't have it so I ordered their Peach Mango pie. I personally didn't care for it much and won't order it again. It was a great cultural experience for me to finally check out Jollibee. I think I'll just stick to restaurants that offer Filipino food going forward. Jollibee is not my cup of tea. The bucket of fried chicken might be something I would bring to a potluck but Jollibee is an easy option for Filipino "fast food".

Located in the Makai Food Court. Fast service and accurate order. We had the Angus Deluxe Burger + Fries w/ Pineapple Quencher & 3Pc Chicken Tenders + Mashed Potatoes + Ube Pie. It was the first time I ordered fries, but next time I'm ordering mashed potatoes! The Angus burger deluxe with the lettuce and tomato was so worth it!

8-17-24: two piece chickenjoy (pretty good) with Adobo fried rice (kinda heavy on the garlic!)
    Scot U.

Not bad fast food fried chicken. Got moist, crunchy chicken, albeit the skin had a slightly greasy aftertaste. But the brown gravy goes good with the chicken. Adobo fried rice was heavy on the garlic, but I suppose some people prefer it this way. So something different from KFC and Popeyes... and between these 3, Jollibee falls in the middle of the pack (behind Popeyes).

Absolutely phenomenal fried chicken! Have never had fried chicken as delicious as Jollybee's! Comes with gravy but in my opinion, it doesn't need it! So juicy and flavorful all by itself! The staff are friendly when taking your order. The wait is pretty short even though they take lots of orders during the lunch hour!

First time trying palabok. It's not bad but I can't finish it coz it wasn't lukewarm and kinda greasy but good to try.
    Rebecca T.

Their chicken and gravy are so good! Most of the times the Chicken came out hot and crispy, but a few times they were not and that didn't taste so good. I love their gravy that goes really well with the chicken and how they gave me a spoon to scoop the gravy too! The wait time varied. Sometimes it's really quick but sometimes the wait would be 15-20 mins. It's one of the best fried chicken you would taste so if you've never tried jollibee, do it!

My first time trying jollibee & I loved the chicken! 10/10 for the spicy chicken! It was fresh, hot , crunchy & delicious! Dip it in the gravy, even more tasty. The adobo rice was decent, it's even better if you put the gravy on it. The shop is small & located in the ala Moana mall. The service was mediocre, they itemize everything & it was pricey. The chicken tenders & fries we ordered had like zero seasoning on them which was kinda disappointing. Then our drink carrier was defective and spilled our drinks all over the floor which was frustrating. The younger worker was nice enough to replace them for me though. Nice kid. Overall I recommend the chicken & I'll be back for it.

Yummiest and most tender fried chicken I've tasted! I really enjoyed my chickenjoy meal (5/5). I tried the gravy that came with it, but could've done without it. The spaghetti was sweet (3/5). Service was great and my meal was ready within 3 minutes of ordering. They gave me a device that buzzed when my food was ready. Ambiance is just okay since it's a regular mall food court.

Tried the spicy chicken joy, 6 pieces with gravy for $18.99, and it was good. The chicken was juicy and tasted very good and they tasted even better with the gravy. The service was very efficient and friendly.

I know what you're thinking, grilled cheese ? Seriously ? Out of the food in Hawaii this is one thing you choose to try for dinner ? And I would say yes every time. This grilled cheese has a special place in my food palette. I have not found another grilled cheese anywhere else in all the places I have been at that replicates this delicious flavor and taste. It was so good that I end up coming back for 4 days straight my stay in Hawaii ! I had the following below: *PATTY - 5/5 - It is the best grilled cheese I have ever had in my life ! It has a nice tasty beef patty, 4 cheeses (Cheddar, Mozzarella, Provolone, American) Caramelized onions, Bacon and Aioli sauce ! It was boasting with flavor ! Bread was soft, cheeses were boasting with flavor, aioli sauce was amazing. I really wish i paired this with their tomato dip ! I can only imagine how much this would've complimented the grilled cheese. The service was exceptional ! The establishment is a small so be sure to eat this on the go or they have small tables set up if you'd like to eat there !

The sandwiches came out quickly, were perfectly toasted, and had so much gooey, melted cheese. All of the toppings worked really well together and made every bite flavorful. Another big plus is that this was one of the few places open late at night, which made it a great option after a long day. The only downside was that it was a little difficult to find an open table since there's limited seating. Other than that, I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it!

And we just can't go here anymore unless changes are made! We used to prefer them over Zippy's, but now they are less than 7-Eleven quality, while charging higher-end prices for the neighborhood. We have given them many chances, hoping it was just a fluke, but we have repeatedly been disappointed. Their chicken has become chewy and fatty, their rice is mediocre, and condiments such as mayonnaise are stripped down to the bare minimum quantity. Chile is poured so lightly that it is practically a minuscule amount. And their prices have continued to rise. I don't know if greedy people took over the restaurant who just don't care anymore, or what is going on. I remember when I used to take people here, and they would be impressed with the quality and quantity--plates just heaping with good cuts of meat, noodles, and rice. Those days are no more. As they say in Japan, the price performance is poor. Furthermore, their staff is rude. I can only imagine it was an owner working this day because it was a face I haven't seen that often. An older gentleman who appeared to be of Okinawan descent, working the cashier register, accosted us because I was privately discussing with my family about splitting different items with them. We were all ordering something, so he wasn't losing any money, but he told us about how prices are double in Waikīkī. First of all, it is rude to interrupt your customers that way. Secondly, we don't go to Waikīkī or care about Waikīkī. What happened to serving the locals? Third, Waikīkī has an assortment of restaurants, prices, and qualities, and they shouldn't be how you base your services. Lastly, I guarantee I could find a better deal in Waikīkī if I wanted to. Next time you're in the area, just go get a $6 bento or a $5 burrito from 7-Eleven next door. I assure you, the price performance and experience will be better. If Rainbow Drive-In is in the business of comparing themselves to other things, let's compare them to 7-Eleven and at least try to be better than them, right? I can get mochiko chicken from 7-Eleven for $6.99 that is similar in portion size and better quality. Meanwhile, they are serving their fatty, dry chicken for $16.75. Highway robbery! And they are not fancy, with their dirty picnic tables and plastic cutlery. They are just a step above a food truck, if that. Save yourself from the hype. They have gone downhill like a landslide. Go elsewhere.
