Korean inspired Chinese food. This restaurant is basically the Korean take on Chinese take out, so its gourmet Chinese food? Can't go wrong with sweet & sour garlic shrimp! For $22 its a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. It's fantastic. Chicken and broccoli is spicy, but not with a strong kick so it doesnt burn, just tastes good. And as for the classic JA JUNG MYUN or JIA JUNG MIAN depending on what language you're referring to, its simply delicious. Looks like this place just opened up recently. My family and I came here last weekend for dinner. They offered standard Chinese-Korean fare, like jjajjangmyeong and champpong. I really liked that they had sweet and sour tofu, which is fairly hard to find in most Chinese-Korean restaurants, but they had it here, and it was pretty tasty, though a bit on the pricier side. I didn't like that they charged us separately for a bowl of white rice. I figured for a dish like that, rice would be a requisite. The rest of my family members found their food to be passable, but not as good as the stuff we would get from Samwongahk. Oh, and their end of dinner treat happened to be candied doughnut holes, which were pretty tasty. I imagine I'll come back, though, just because of their tofu dishes, even if I have to pay for rice separately. read more

I was a bit confused by this place. It's obviously Korean-run, but most everything on their menu is Chinese food. They have some traditional Korean side dishes but the dishes that come out taste predominately Chinese. The food itself is ok but why not just go to a Chinese restaurant??? The portions here are very big and the service is quick. I first came for jajamyung (black bean noodles) and was extremely satisfied. I've tried a variety of dishes including the spicy seafood soup and a few others. The one waiter with the blonde highlights, he's always very nice to me. The other waiters are a bit standoffish but I totally get it, I'm not Korean (or Chinese) and they're probably not used to seeing foreign faces too often there. read more

This is another location of the Korean style Chinese eatery in Flushing. Menu is the same along with the prices but in a cleaner and larger location. Best dishes are the sweet and sour chicken, beef in sour garlic and any bowl of noodles on the menu. Come here if Flushing parking and traffic creep you out. read more

Went here to try something new from the usual Korean spots. Saw this restaurant a few times going up and down northern so we decided to stop in. Greeted nicely and seated promptly. I ordered a spicy tofu dish and the girlfriend ordered a sliced beef with noodle/ rice both from the lunch special in the back of the menu. Pretty pricey in my opinion but the portions were pretty good. Both dishes came with a spicy seafood soup and at the end of the meal, we got fried sugar dough balls. Overall id say it was just OK, but wouldn't be my first or tenth choice to go eat somewhere. read more

I don't like to put up negative post but I feel obligated to do so. The food is alright but the two waitresses made me want to post my experience. They are unprofessional and rude. I was told by other people that the service was bad but I didn't believe them. They treat you worse if you're not Korean. I thought it was bull but I experienced it at first hand. My wife and I ordered 2 noodles and dumplings. We asked if the food can come out at the same time so we can enjoy it togther and the waitress said no. So I asked them can we order the noodles order first and we will order the dumblings later and the waitress looks annoyed and takes the menus saying she will take care of it. So I thought it would be ok. The dumplings come out first so I asked the other waitress how old it would take for the noodles come out? The waitress (looked annoyed) tries to take the dumplings back. My wife said it's not a big deal and leave it. The waitress said no it's ok and snatches it, talking crap about us to the other waitress. The food comes back out and rudely puts it on our table (kind of like slightly slamming it). What kind of crap is this? I have never experienced anything like this. This was only the second time I've had Korean Food. I don't know if it is suppose to taste the way it did. I know I liked it. I liked the flavor of the things I ordered. It wasn't overly salty. The Japache was a little peppery. The only reason I didn't give it a five was because they got one item in my order wrong. So I am a big fan of black bean noodle and have been to almost every black bean noodle houses in Flushing/Queens. In fact, I have eaten here couple of times and it was pretty good. But when I went today, the black bean noodles tasted awful! (Both my friend and I ordered it) It was so bland and we even asked for more sauce. However, it was still bland and tasted like nothing. I am really confused by the high ratings for this place. Came here because I was craving Korean-Chinese food and was visiting NY for the holidays. It saddens me to say this but, the Korean-Chinese place in Boston tastes WAYYYYY better than this restaurant. The one good thing about this place is its clean and semi-modern decor. My family and I came here after a raving review from my aunt. I had really high expectations for the jjamjamyun (half jjajang and half jjampong). The jjajangmyun and jjamppong were both extremely bland. The jjajangmyun sauce was a light brown/tan color and was really watery. The jjamppong broth looked promising because of its bright red color but it was also flavorless. My parents agreed and we will stick to going to the Korean-Chinese restaurants that have been around for years... there is a reason why they still are in business. read more

I used to think this place had the best jajangmyun but I think they definitely went downhill and I'm not sure if it's due to the fact that they cannot keep up with the pace of more customers and their demands. Horrible customer service. Horrible mix up in our order. First they refused to sit our party of six at table for eight. Two tables of eight were available, yet the waiter indicated there was a wait of an hour. Then he indicated they could not afford to loose two spare spots for other customers. Then the orders were all mixed up with the wrong dishes. The waitress indicated it was our fault for not ordering correctly. I used to love this place. Came here very frequently because the food is great and i love the dessert they give you after your meal. I came here yesterday with my whole family for a late birthday dinner. My brother ordered the bean paste noodles. While we were eating he discovered a long piece of a metal spiral material in his food. I believe this material is part of the item you use to wash dishes. After discovering this IN HIS FOOD, my family and i lost our appetite. The restaurant owner was very sorry and actually had us not pay for the whole meal. The food is delicious, but delivery is incredibly slow and they messed up the order terribly. They forgot one of my orders, and I ordered off DoorDash, or a similar delivery service, and the staff told me I had to go through the delivery service to cancel the order. Instead, I chose to drive to the restaurant and pick up the missing order myself, but once I got there, I still had to wait 10 minutes for my food. Extremely frustrating.
