My own father referred me to Jordan Auto. He knew I had been looking for months upon months, unable to make a commitment and decision, and could have gone on for months if I felt like I couldn't trust the dealer. Luckily, he purchased a car a couple months ago and was very pleased with the Jordan experience and the car itself, so I thought I would give it a try too. Todd, the sales manager, was very helpful in finding me a vehicle with all the features I wanted (even though it wasn't the car I thought I wanted initially :) ). He worked within a specific schedule I had set for buying, and the car was in great shape and better than I had imagined. I worked with Joel to actually the purchase the vehicle, and he was very helpful as well. I was aware of the no-negotiation aspect, and that alleviated a lot of stress I was afraid to face in the first place. He explained every piece of documentation that I was getting with the car and made sure everything was set up the way I needed it to be (like the bluetooth!). Since I'm counting on this to be a great vehicle that I won't replace for a number of years, I hope I don't see the guys at Jordan Auto anytime soon, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't stop by! read more

Removed Review: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I was new in town last year with a Volvo, after my car was involved in an auto accident I had it taken to the dealership. WORST DECISION EVER!!! After my car was determined to be totaled, I went to clean it out only to discover my car was left UNLOCKED in their auto body area and my IPod was missing. The manager just wanted to argue with me, first he said they can't account for items left in vehicles, I said he could have at least kept my vehicle locked for me (all the windows were in tact). He said they do not have any theft at their business, but then argued that they have insurance people in and out all day and can't account for them. They started questioning me as if I was in the wrong for blaming them, when hello, they left my car unlocked!! After getting into an accident that was not my fault, moving to a new town and not knowing where to have my vehicle towed other than the dealership and then having my IPod stolen from my car I felt so taken advantage of. Only after threatening to sue them did they offer me $100 for my IPod, this was a gift that was I believe a member of their staff stole it from my vehicle, at one point I had to go in to have my GPS taken out of my car while it was in the shop, he probably saw my IPod still in my car at that point. I will never go back to Jordan. SHADY people, WAY over priced and awful!!!! read more

I was in the market for a used pick up truck with low miles and found the perfect vehicle at Jordan Ford. I found the truck online and the pictures, spec's, condition were all right on target. I inspected the vehicle after hours to make sure it was in good condition and met my expectations and then went inside the following day after work. I've purchased many vehicles over the years and I know first hand how long and painful the process can be so I went in prepared for the worst. When I entered the doors I was immediately greeted by Shawndel Gordon. Shawndel is a true professional and as courteous a salesperson that I have ever met. He isn't a fast talker trying to upsell you, in fact, he's a very good listener and more concerned about my buying experience than anything else. Before I left that evening, deciding to sleep on it, I was introduced to Todd, the Preowned Director, who was also very professional and courteous. The following day I decided to buy the truck. Again I was greeted by Shawndel (he came out and met me before I even entered the building!). He was well prepared and had the paperwork ready for my signature. Then it was time for me to meet the Finance guy, and typically this process takes time and can be a painful upsell experience. I met with Socrates and he was very thorough while going over the paperwork and extended warranty options. I could tell he was a seasoned car guy. Much to my surprise, Soc had everything wrapped up in minutes, not hours, and I was ready to go. Shawndel handed me the keys and then asked if I could wait just a minute because Todd wanted to thank me for my business before I left. I did not have a good experience here. Long story short: I found out on a Friday afternoon that my old car was done-zo. I needed a replacement car ASAP. I actually found THE CAR I wanted at Jordan Automotive that same afternoon. I went to check it out. I loved it. I wanted it. When I walked from the lot into the office at 5:30 PM, I stood at the "reception" desk for probably twenty minutes without anyone even acknowledging I was there, though I could see through a glass wall a salesman finishing up with someone else. He could have done anything to let me know he would be with me when he was able. When he finally came out, he briefly apologized, I told him I was interested in buying the car and he said he couldn't really do anything just then because they were about to close but that I should come back first thing in the morning. I arrived at 9:30 the next morning after visiting the bank to get a sizeable down payment. When I said I wanted the car, the salesman went to retrieve the keys so I could test drive it, and came back to tell me that the CAR WAS SOLD. Someone had CALLED THAT MORNING and put a $100 down payment on the car on a credit card. I was furious. This salesman failed to tell me that I could "hold" the car with $100 - I didn't even know it was an option. The car that I wanted got sucked right out from underneath me because this salesman was neglectful and focused on leaving for the day. I will probably never do business here again on principle. I found a better dealership with lower prices anyway. And I did get the car I wanted, for a better price, and a newer model. These salesman receive a salary, which I can appreciate, but they have no sense of urgency in making a sale and they don't have to "wow" their customers in any way. It's really blasé. read more

He didn't bug me to buy a car and even after looking at it for three weeks he was never pushy. When I had questions I could email, call, or even text. When I was ready to buy, he offered to come in on his day off to accommodate my crazy work schedule. I'm so happy with my new car! We purchased our first new Ford from them in January 2015 (my wife's car). They have been a very good dealership to work with. Their service department is affordable and provides a level of service and satisfaction that I had not received from other dealership based service locations in the past. The single recall notice we received was scheduled and completed within days of getting the notification, they really worked with us to find a time that fit our schedule for the quick resolution to that issue. I am strongly considerring heading here first (and maybe last) in a couple years when I am in the market for my own new car. read more

Retired Vet who has bought a lot of cars over the years. Process of this purchase was pretty normal, a little longer than necessary as I paid cash and no trade, but I liked the idea of lifetime car washes and that I did not have to leave my car and wait. That made the transaction seem worth it as I am not real mobile so staying in a car while it gets washed was a huge plus. Fast forward 2 years and they first started limiting the number of washes per year (still okay as I would not use their max.) and now they have closed the car wash down. I tried to talk to my salesman, no longer there, and asked to discuss this with the GM but they connected me to the Human Resources Department??? Obviously not a mistake as they had a standard answer, "we told you it was subject to change at any time". I am not happy as I cannot get out and wash my own car unless it is good weather and the cost to do so at a car wash just adds to my total operating costs to own this vehicle making the deal not as good. I know they still will have to wash new and used vehicles before they deliver them so it is a financial decision not an equipment issue. Car sales people have always been a little shady but once the deal was done they stood by their word, NOT @ Jordan's. I will not buy there again, nor will anyone else in my family, which has a total of 23 vehicles. On a side note, I also purchased a car over 7 years ago at another dealer and got free washes and $10.99 oil changes. That dealer still honors those commitments. read more

I had read on-line about the Jordan Way of doing business, but I was a bit skeptical prior to arriving at the dealership. I had determined the pre-owned vehicle that I wanted from their website and had been following it for a couple of weeks. When I saw the price drop, I thought the time was right to take it for a test drive. I used KBB online to evaluate my trade-in so that I would have some idea of what I should expect. I arrived at the dealership and after parking and looking over the vehicle I wanted I was greeted by Jake Yoder. I told him which vehicle I was interested in and he had me come to his office where he explained the Jordan Way and the benefits of buying from them. I had some previous experience with Car Max and other than the additional benefits that Jordan offers, the approaches seemed similar. While Jake went to get the vehicle ready for a test drive, my car was evaluated by their trade-in specialist. After driving the vehicle, I knew I wanted to purchase it. But I thought they would jerk me around a bit on my trade-in. To my surprise, what they gave me for my trade-in was in line with what KBB had suggested I would get. So, I proceeded with the deal and am happy that I did. I had already prearranged my financing, so I opted not to see what they offered. In a matter of minutes, Jake had all of the paperwork complete and I was on my way. Definitely, a hassle-free way of purchasing a car. First off we have bought over 10 vehicles from jordan ford and my parents have also bought from them and we've always loved the no haggle price and good fair trade in offer. However last week we when in there to test drive a Mustang and we had an appointment, roads were wet but not bad and was told by sales team that we could not drive the mustang and talked to like were a kid wanting a ride in a sports car, wasted my time! Second we were insulted by their offer for a trade in based on a small issue on title that us or them can fix for 8$ and the sales manager precedes to argue with me very unprofessional! Third they claim that their prices are no haggle and they won't negotiate..well the mustang was priced at 14,559$ on showroom and this morning 3 days later it's 15,559$ that tells me their shysters cons just like 80% of other dealers. My husband and I were looking for 2 new vehicles. We had an appointment set up when we got there we stood in the showroom for 20 minutes waiting for the salesman finally a lady came and said she could help us. She said your here for a tundra & a camery? No the rav4 & corolla. Oh ok so it took another 20 minutes for her to get the cars so we could test drive. Finally our salesman acknowledged us saying he was showing the rav4 that we were looking at to someone else so if the other person decided on it then he will find us another. Then we had 2 cars to trade in took them forever to give us the trade in value which was a total waste of time they weren't even close to what they are worth. We finally said that we had another appointment so we had to leave. The lady said she would try and get us better trade in value and call us on Monday, we still have not heard back from either one of them. So Jordan's guess what we are going with Nissans!! Since I moved to Mishawaka, IN and service my RAV4 at Jordan Toyota my experience has been sub par. It feels like that want to up-sell you on everything in service. 1st time my water pump went out! Okay I understand those things happen. Second time the water pump went out again. I stated that I just got that fixed. The service manage told me he would look into that. Service manager came back and said it is still under warranty. Alright cool! When I came back that day the cashier clerk stated they reused the water pump I already had. How can you reuse something that went bad on my vehicle. Does not make any sense what so ever. They pretend to have 1st class service with a pretend nail salon! My visits their they don't even give a complimentary car wash but as male person I can get my nails done?!?! Every time when I get my car back they have a piece of paper to cover my floor mat! Okay cool that you use that to make sure you keep my car clean but you are too lazy to remove it out of my car before I go back to it?!?! It is probably the workers at Mishawaka Toyota because all of the other Toyota dealerships I have been excellent except the one in Mishawaka! read more

Our purchase started out great, We was in last week to trade in our current vehicle for a car that we fell in love with at Jordan's. Everything was going good, they let us drive the car for 2 days. On the 3rd day is when we was able to finalize everything (due to or work schedules, office hours, and living 35 miles away). The sales rep failed to mention to us anything about the title for our old vehicle we was trading in (we was too excited and love struck over the new vehicle, the title was the last thing on our mind!!) When we showed up to finalizing our purchase, check in hand, I (not the sales rep... me!)mentioned something about the title. The rep told me he could not finalize our purchase without the title in hand. So, I drove ALL the way back to my house which was a good 40 mins away frantically looking for my title, only to find out I indeed didn't have my title. I purchased and financed my car in Indiana, and still owed on the car, so the lean holder has my title WHICH THE SALES REP SHOULD HAVE KNOWN! So, I had to drive BACK to Jordan's, no title in hand and couldn't "finalize" the deal since I didn't have the title. So needless to say, I requested my check back and gave him his car back. I also had filled the car up with gas, because I mean come one, I had a check in hand for the car, who knew that this title issue would pop up and ruin everything?? So, I'm out gas money from the car. PLUS were headed out of town that evening for a family camping trip which was pretty much ruined because of our TERRIBLE experience. Apparently the "Jordan Way" isn't all that its cracked up to be. For future reference Jordan Automotive, If your customer lives in Michigan(a non title holding state), but purchased a vehicle and financed it in Indiana(a title holding state) and still owe on the vehicle, chances are they're NOT going to have their title, so why don't you mention to your customers from the get go that you're going to need their title so they don't have to go through what we went through last week. read more

They lie, don't take responsibility for your vehicle, don't take care of your vehicle, and I can't prove it, but am pretty sure they do work that is not necessary. Recently purchased a 2013 Escape Titanium from Marc Gordon. Marc did a great job explaining the car and took very good care of us. Marc made sure we were totally happy with the vehicle. Jordan's does a great job at giving you a car fax report and making sure you know everything about the car up front. Listen, whether it's auto repair or regular car maintenance service that you need it is never a particularly fun or exciting thing. Jordan Ford repair and the regular service shop went above and beyond to get my car on the road. I will talk about my body repair experience first. Originally quoted me a 2-3 day window frame but they got the job done within a day! I was shocked because that almost never happens but was extremely happy as it limited my downtime from work. The repairs were done not just quick but with quality. Second I came back having an issue with my 12 volt battery and they were able to diagnose the problem, get me a new battery without an appointment. I was in and out of the serve department under hour and a half. I cannot stress enough how good this place is having dealt with poor Ford dealerships before. These service reps are nothing but friendly and inviting and make you feel at home. read more

This is the 1st negative review I've ever written & my experience was SO awful!! I purchased my 2013 Nissan in 10/2014. I paid for their extended coverage plan. I specifically asked, no matter what - any issues I have - will be covered. I was told yes. 100%, no questions asked. I had an electrical problem, & made an appt to get my car in. I stated I would need to bring my car in prior to work, & needed shuttled around 8am. They stated that wasn't a problem. I get there, & was told well we don't have you down until 11:30, eventually got the shuttle for me, but I was made 15 min late to work. I took my car in nearly a week ago. Jordan advised they couldn't correct the problem, didn't know what to do with it, so I was advised to pick my car up, and take it to a Nissan dealer. I had to take my warranty back them as they did not even have all of the info from my purchasw entered correctly in their system. I again, specifically asked about the warranty, if they needed to refer me to a dealer, etc. & was told that my warranty would transfer and be accepted, any Nissan dealer would be fine. I confirmed the paperwork I brought into them regarding my warranty was all I would need to give to Nissan, and they said yes. I do this, again dealing with shuttles to and from work. Nissan calls and advises that was in fact not my correct warranty paperwork. I call Jordan, am transferred left and right between the ford side and their services center, and the Toyota side, and their service center - one person on the Toyota side telling me he "couldn't help me and just picked up the phone call he was transferred"!!!!! After NUMEROUS calls back and fourth, I am told I was misinformed, and should NOT have taken my car to Nissan. Jordan should have kept my car and outsourced this repair themselves so they would then file the claim for my warranty. At this point, no one knows how to proceed, the head of service at Toyota, Patty, was NEVER available for myself or the employees I spoke with, & she needed to be contacted to determine how to proceed. I was told she may have had some personal things with herself or her mother, & had appointments to go to. Of course, I have sympathy for a possible hardship, however, I as the paying customer should not be affected by her personal life. A woman in pre-owned named Kara was another contact I was given to call. She did get me a loaner vehical as they were not going to have an answer on what to do that day either. Communication was HORRIBLE - Kara advised she had to get with Patty, & that they had missed each other due to Patty's unavailability & when she came to Kara - she was busy with her customers all AM and also had some appraisals. Again, NOT my problem as the customer. If she was too busy, another associate or manager should have been made aware of my now 4 business day problem. My voicemails were not returned, & I was spoken to in a rude & unfriendly manner by multiple employees while being sent on a wild goose chase for help. In the mean time, Gurley Leep Nissan was consistently calling me to follow up and ensure I was being taken car of!! Jordan finally works out their problems, approved the work to be done PER THE ESTIMATE Gurley Leep sent over, and then, states they are only paying a portion of the invoice, leaving me with an almost $300 balance!!! Gurley Leep was not okay with this, as they were approved to proceed with the estimate provided, and did not feel after I was already told I was covered, that I would now have a somewhat large balance. After their service manager spoke to Jordan's, they got no where but also spoken to rudely and were advised I would have to pay. They felt this whole fiasco was handled so poorly, they waived their labor fees for the work they did, so I didn't have the unexpected balance. Kara on the final day, was VERY rude and snobby, and did not even apologize for my inconvenience. I WILL NEVER DO BUISNESS WITH THIS DEALER AGAIN! BEWARE!! read more
