Good coffee in a sorta industrial hipster setting with lots of t-shirts and such for sale too, service efficient but coffee, while similar to Starbucks, is more expensive in a smaller cup than them. Just walked into this place had a lovely conversation with a barista got my order and $65 worth of pastries and breakfast... explain to her that the only reason I'm pulling over during my midday, five hour journey was because I was falling asleep on the road and needed some coffee quick, but having it make me late for my second job was gonna be made up for the fact that I'm bringing coffee and pastries for everyone... I'm driving away 100% empty-handed because they won't accept a bill over $20. Have what rules you want, but always leave room for an exception... having come here and enjoyed coffee and concerts at Journey, coffee Co. for years to be told that you can't give me less than $40 in change and then send me back on the road half asleep to go in traffic and go get coffee elsewhere??!! I guess it's not my problem but when a logical thinking person has to go and ask management to make such a silly exception for a $65+ order it makes me never wanna drink journey again nor have my family members or anybody else support people who manage "no exception" type corporate businesses.... It's not June 15th yet, we must have missed the memo. There's folks in here not wearing a mask. Patrons are not socially distant and there is zero concern of capacity levels. We ordered a box of coffee, and the woman who assisted us--who was wearing a bandana and had a chest tattoo--was very unwelcoming and rude. She sighed repeatedly as if to show her frustration and came across as unpleasant and unprofessional. We also had to return because the coffee was poured incorrectly, which ruined the entire box. Glad Fairfield has a coffee shop this nice, both for their food and drinks and also for working/studying. The inside is nice and spacious with lots of space to sit. I got a London fog and it was good, although I've had better at a couple other places. Workers were very kind! They got my order wrong the first time, but were quick to fix it. They have some yummy bakery treats that my kids enjoy such as the pop tarts. The last few times I have been here I use curbside pick up. This is definitely one of my favorite coffee places. There are two locations, one in Vacaville and the other in Fairfield. I've checked in this place over 70 times and have probably tasted almost everything on their menu. Their coffee is just great! The atmosphere is equally great! If you come here often, the workers gets to know you and it becomes a first-name basis interaction (as well as "the usual?). If you want a welcoming place with plenty of seating and parking and with great coffee with phenomenal workers, then this is your place. I really enjoy the ambiance and what Journey Coffee stands for... However, I was a bit alarmed upon entering and seeing a full café with everyone with their masks off (I get it, obviously everyone is there to have some coffee/breakfast/study/work...) at their designated tables. There were some spacing in between, but unsure if it is six feet. Anyway, if there is any floral infusion on the menu then best believe that is what I will try! So, of course I got the iced lavender latte with almond milk! Luckily, it is not too sweet and just sweet enough where I can detect it, lol. The homemade lavender syrup isn't as potent as I'd like it to be, but it's fine... I'll definitely give another drink a try next time. There seems to be a good amount of food on the menu, as well. A veggie egg wrap, 12oz mocha, 2 cookies and $30 later and I'm staring at a veggie wrap with no egg, the most watered down, flavorless mocha I've literally ever ordered and I'm too far to go back to get a re-do. This is my favorite local coffee shop. There aren't many options for third wave coffee in the Solano County area, so I'm happy to have a few Journey Coffee Co. locations. My favorite is the Chadbourne Road location. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. The baristas are knowledgeable about the coffee they roast and have on hand. They are skilled at V60 pour over, and it always turns out great. The seasonal specials are great as well. As far as food is concerned, I've had the avocado toast and veggie wrap. Both were delicious and they were able to cater to my dietary needs. The cafe is big with lots of comfortable seating and outlets available for studying/working. This place always has people in it and it is very pleasant to be a part of conversations with staff and customers alike. read more

I finally made the journey to Journey Coffee in Fairfield. Living in Sacramento often means trips down Interstate 80 to visit friends and family in the Bay Area. Fairfield is usually halfway making it a good place to stop for come caffeine and a pit stop. This usually means a trip to Starbucks, but on a recent trip I decided to seek out a local shop instead. Journey Coffee is close to the Jelly Belly factory in the middle of the office parks off Highway 12 and Interstate 80. Parking is pretty generous, especially on weekends. This location is rather large taking advantage of the space with lots of seating in a funky modern vibe. I ordered my usual espresso which was pulled fast and paired it with a baked good. The coffee was great and the location was a nice stop away from the traffic without being too far. There were a decent amount of people in the shop which says a lot about their quality that people will drive to come here. The location is the biggest challenge to Journey Coffee, although it is pretty convenient for travelers. You will be rewarded with a more fund and local experience without sacrificing a lot of your travel time. But I don't want to hype it up too much without losing that great chill vibe! read more

I get the iced matcha latte with almond milk and when I'm feeling a bit hungry I'll get the avocado toast and add everything but the bagel seasoning. The iced matcha latte is probably the best matcha latte I've tried yet. I love avocado toast and love how they use sourdough bread for theirs. Getting the avocado toast is inconsistent in preparation because sometimes the avocado is smashed and sometimes the avocado is just sliced and placed on top. First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! Staff was extremely friendly and the barista was super helpful with recommendations. Their matcha is delicious, and the strawberry purée just made this drink out of this world!! My 16 month old took one sip and she continued to ask for sips because the strawberry really adds a nice sweetness that isn't too overpowering. The vanilla latte tasted good, however, I do wish I could've tasted the vanilla sweetener a bit more. I'm not sure if it was added? But regardless the actual espresso is really delicious. Very seldom we come to this location, we just prefer the One Lake location for many reasons. We got a smoothie, macaroons, and a parfait for the kiddos. My husband asked for honey for his parfait because it was flavorless & he was told that they did not have honey. We ordered and I noticed everyone's drinks were being called except mine. Wow, this has to be one of my favorite local coffee shops! Upon entering, the space is huge and has a nice, artistic atmosphere. There are multiple tables with outlets so definitely a great place to get your caffeine fix and work done! I got the cortados and breakfast wraps; both were fantastic for quality and price! The espresso had a nice strong taste without the burnt flavor and nice foam artwork! The breakfast wraps were grilled well and had great proportions of bacon, egg, cheese, and veggies. I received excellent customer service from the workers there when I asked them about the sweetness level of their iced lavender lattes. They kindly let me try the drink with 1 pump of syrup to see if I had liked it in case I wanted more. I realized that their standard 2 pumps were enough flavoring and sweetness. There are 2 bathrooms in the back and were clean. Lastly, there is plenty of parking too!!! Sutter Health employees and local businesses are lucky to have Journey Coffee on their block! read more

Nice little coffee shop for this area. My friends and I wanted to meet up for a hangout while we were all in the area, so we decided to check this place out. It's in an office park area, so there is a lot of parking. There's also a sizeable lawn, good for lounging and outdoor activities if you're so inclined. From the outside, you can't tell much about the shop, as it blends in with the rest of the building, but once you're inside, you get a rustic feel with the coffee roaster machines, wooden and metal furniture. We found out that there was an app that we could order through, so we tried that, as there was a constant line to the door, because of the car meet in the lot that day. This is mainly where I dropped the score, we were all unsure if our orders were ready. We weren't too far from the pickup counter, so we were sure our names were never called and the app always told us that it was being prepared. We all pretty much went up to find out they were already ready. Maybe it was because of the big crowd, but I can't tell. I had an iced americano, not much to comment on, because of the simplicity of the drink, espresso and water. It was decently strong. The whole experience probably would have been better on a normal day without a big meet outside, but it might be a while before I can judge that. read more

I think the sauce that comes with it is too spicy so I replace it with their lemon dressing and it fits perfectly.
