Their coffee, smoothies, lunches, etc are delicious and never disappoint. My go to is their lavender oat milk latte, however this review is based on the customer service I received today. I waited 20 minutes on an item that they forgot about. I received 3 out of the 4 items within minutes and was waiting on one more thing. 10 minutes pass, 15 minutes, 20 minutes. It wasn't too busy in the cafe, several people have arrived and left already so at this point I follow up to see if they're still working on it (it was a smoothie). The employee tells me she'll check and a minute later she hands me my smoothie, "here!". No "sorry for the inconvenience", "my bad we forgot", "sorry we're backed up" or "sorry for the wait". I get it, things happen. But no acknowledgement whatsoever? Nothing. Just "here". Well, this is my experience today. Here! read more

I love love love this place, and all of the locations and staff. Such a fresh variety of responsibly sourced things. There is also such a vibe at all the the Journey locations and they are distinct from one another. It is always a good place to grab coffee, meet a friend or grab a quick bite to eat. "Raised Review to five stars after tasting the breakfast wrap!" Great breakfast selection, friendly people. This is a good-sized cafe in an industrial location. It's very close to the large Busch Brewery. (Note The Brewery tours are closed now!) This is not just a coffee shop--they actually have their own roastery behind the scenes. You can purchase bags of their own coffee, on display at the front counter. The day that I visited they were featuring coffee using beans from Peru and Ethiopia. Of course, they also have lots of pastries that you can purchase. On a cool spring morning, I ordered the breakfast wrap for about $6. They also provided a cold Nitro coffee for me. I've never had Nitro coffee before. They explained it's a little like stout beer, but without the beer. I was astonished when I bit into the breakfast wrap. It is made with spinach tortillas and was incredibly tasty, but also a little spicy. I changed the rating for this review to five stars after trying this wrap. To my astonishment, they have several beers on tap, including my favorite racer 5 IPA. They also offer happy hour for discounts on beer. The people here were really friendly and the service was prompt. I'm not sure that Nitro is for me, but it was fun to try it. I think I'll stick to the Nitro beer. The day that I visited, a much larger dining room was still under construction, but they still have a good-sized dining room open for business. Looking forward to coming back when the dining room is complete. So overall, a truly outstanding place to visit. Great food, great people, lots of fun. So I was in here for a total of 49.6 seconds and I fell in love with it. Firstly the lady that took my order was so sweet! She was super helpful when describing all the yummy macaron flavors and even remembered my name when I walked out the door. Little things like that make me happy =) 10/10 pumpkin cheesecake, taro, salted caramel, and birthday cake macarons. My friend recommended this cafe to me and it did not disappoint. Right when you walk in the atmosphere is perfect, welcoming, kind and happy. We were greeted by a super nice person who seemed like she was new and the person training her. They were helpful and knowledgeable about everything. We ordered a black coffee, banana bread, oat milk lavender latte and Nutella pop tart. There was lots of spaces out tables as we waited for our coffees and tried not to devour our food. The banana bread and pop tart was amazing. I loved my oat latte as well. I'm kind of disappointed I don't live anywhere near Fairfield because I'd be getting coffee here all the time if I did. read more

A great place to relax and chat or get some work done. The coffee here is quite good, and there's plenty of space to sit. The vibes are casual, and the baristas are friendly and recognize the regulars. The floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of light and create a cheery atmosphere. A (kind of) hidden coffee shop but really worth the visit! It's smaller than the Vacaville location, but I personally like this location better. The interior is very similar to the Vacaville location, with wooden tables and metal chairs. All the staff are super friendly and give you the vibe that they genuinely want to be a positive part of your day. My go to is an iced lavender latte with oat milk. It's really smooth with the right amount of lavender flavor in it. The cocoa latte is also pretty good. It has a really good cocoa to espresso ratio, preventing it from tasting like a basic chocolate milk. Both of these lattes are really refreshing, and I've never had a bad experience with any of them. The breakfast wrap is also really good! It is made to order and comes in a spinach tortilla wrap. Inside, there is cheese, egg, spinach, tomato, bacon, and a chipotle spread that gives it a slight spice to it. It is also easy to take with you on the go! read more

Honestly a great cafe. A place that you can sit back and enjoy some reading for get some work done while you enjoy a good and healthy meal and a good cup of joe or tea. It was my first time at this place. My sister took me here as I needed some kind of a breakfast. So we come here. Didn't know about this location. I heard of Journey as I have seen posts in my posts from friends. I first ordered some kind of breakfast wrap that contained eggs, bacon, some pepper and a sauce that I actually enjoyed. As for the coffee I asked the barista as I wasn't really familiar with anything. So I decided on a lavender brown sugar kind of hot coffee. Not bad at all! All in all my first time here and the environment was very chill, nice people and just different than the typical chain if you want to try something out that. I would definitely come back for sure. Price was, honestly for me it's a treat, a little pricey. I wouldn't go daily but for sure would come back once in a while. read more

Have never known about this place until I came here for a meeting. I wasn't sure what to get & one of the ladies recommended a Brown Sugar drink. Been getting that drink since then along with their avocado toast. Haven't tried anything else yet & would like to now that it's fall season. One thing I can say is if you order food, it does take a while for it to come out. So if you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend getting food unless you have 25min to spare lol. Agree with Jason - this place is a gem! I make the trip to Fairfield Acura twice a year from San Pablo to get my car serviced and I always look forward to their complimentary Starbucks coffee in the lounge. However, pandemic = no coffee = :(. I got on Google and the two places which came up were Dutch Bros Coffee and Journey. I drove over to Dutch Bros and they were unfortunately drive thru only. Hoping for a place to sit down, I re-directed myself to Journey and am glad I did. The first thing that comes to mind is I didn't even feel like I was in California any longer. This place is huge and the area around it seems to be quite rural - I was thinking this is how coffee shops might be somewhere out in Texas! It was nice to get away from all of the traffic & congestion that we experience in most parts of the Bay Area. I love the food and the coffee, 10/10. On the other hand, ordering on the app and pick up is TERRIBLE! If you order via the app, be prepared to wait 30 mins or more. Every time I have ordered on the app, I place the order when I leave my destination (15 mins away) and by the time I arrive, I've still waited an extra 15. And the employees completely ignore your presence while you wait. Even the ones that are just standing there no preparing food or beverages. I don't think customer service is much of a priority at this location. read more

Finally stopped by to try this place out. Took 40 minutes to get my coffee and a warmed item from the menu to go. Two people working on coffee and at least three others seemingly standing around. Food/coffee was good (therefore the 2 stars), but I wasn't the only one held up and the staff weren't exactly overly friendly nor apologetic for the wait. What a shame, so close to home. Recently went to Journey Coffee for the first time as my friends suggested it after a morning run. Definitely didn't expect a coffee shop to be in the middle of some big warehouse buildings but they make it work. Inside was very nice & clean. Plenty of places to site inside and outside. I love this location I order takeout at least 10 times a month lmao. My go to order is the stuffed avocado salad or the first class breakfast wrap. The breakfast pastry is really good also. I had the privilege to discover this coffee shop as I was helping my aunt and cousin move into town this past weekend from the Bay Area. Journey Coffee Co. staff welcomed me with warm smiles that brightened my day with certainty and offered delightful suggestions considering as a first time customer. Their service was gracefully embedded with patience as I requested my food and drink prepped a particular way. Exceeded the expectations!! Nonetheless making that genuine connection with their staff made me felt as if I was one of their locals, considering from being out of the area. If any of you are a fan of coffeecake, Wholly Shnikeyz!! Look no where else!! This place bakes such an amazing mouthwatering coffee cake one could ever bite into. We were looking for a local spot for coffee not too far off the freeway and this spot popped up. Apparently they have several locations, but this is their "mothership" spot - roaster, bakery, etc. It looks like a random spot in the middle of an industrial park from the outside. It's really charming inside. The employees were super friendly and helpful. I was excited to see so many "gluten friendly" pastry items. I am non-celiac's GF and rarely get to have a treat from a cafe, so that was an extra bonus. We got iced lattes with their brown sugar syrup (made in-house) and oat milk. Really tasty. Overall, it was a gem of a find with a positive "you matter" community vibe. We'll probably try another location in the Vacaville area next time. The barista said that all of the stores do their own "vibe", so they're fun to visit. read more

Journey coffee has some good bakery items. However they take a VERY long time making their coffee's. I placed a mobile order and it took the barista 15+ mins to make it and i was waiting for 10 mins inside the store and they didn't call my name that it was ready. $5 also for a butter croissant is ridiculous in my opinion. This coffee house is a good break from your conventional chained places, and offers breakfast , snacks and health lunch options. During their soft opening, I ordered coffee and pastry - it was delish! Today, I tried their green tea Lemonade- what a refreshing drink. Met up with a friend who was visiting from Miami here. The coffee is delicious, the service was outstanding and we both enjoyed the atmosphere here. I have a 14 month old girl and no one seemed bothered by her which is nice for a young mom just trying to have some coffee and catch up with an old friend. Excellent spot tucked away in the middle of a corporate area. The food was amazing and the workers very kind. As well, finding a coffee shop that stays open past 2 is becoming rarer these days. Thus, it was great to find a spot that stayed open later and also made such great coffee. Recommend to the fullest extent possible! read more
