They were crispy but the same form and shape. The other place I normally go to, their shells are different shape because they deep fry them. But, like I said they were good. You may sample any of their soft serve flavors. They even have pre-packaged frozen items, too. I got one bonini for me and two regular cinnamon rolls for my daughters. Cinnamon roll from the bonini was slightly tough unfortunately. I would have preferred the cinnamon roll to not be squished with soft serve. It didn't have enough soft serve for the cinnamon roll size IMHO. I will get both cinnamon roll and soft serve separately next time. Cinnamon roll on its own was great. It's all about freshness and quality, and no other quick service establishment comes close. Pasadena #5 is In-N-Out's most iconic location. It is the oldest operating building company-wide and has always been on top as far as quality of food and service. For today's order I went for my go-to, a Cheeseburger with Grilled and Raw Onion, no Tomato and Fries Light-Well. Absolutely grubalicious! As usual, the Burger was made to order and cooked perfectly. They had music playing and it's like classical music. They have fountain drink station which I miss from the Arcadia and Monrovia ones! The place got really busy when i went and it took longer for my order to be rat compared to the other McDonald's. They are so busy that once your order is ready, they leave it and walk away super fast! I tried to ask for a straw but they didn't hear me so I got it myself. Food it decent and consistent, so I enjoyed the food (McNuggets and fries), but they didn't give us napkins and given how hard it was to ask for a straw, I didn't ask... Parking is decent! Plenty of parking in both sides of the restaurant. Two lane drive thru makes ordering confusing sometimes so make sure to wait and talk to both windows because they might tell you to not slip windows 1!
