I like their juices and smoothies and appreciate that they have samples most of the time so I can broaden my horizons. Not cool: I stopped by to pick up a pre-made juice, and was charged $1 more than what their menu states. I asked the fella working why I was charged more, and he said it's because veggies are more expensive because it's the off season. While that might be the case, it would be reaaaaaally easy for them to post a sign to alert everyone that they will be charging more so their customers can make informed decisions. I am so fricking obsessed with this place that I want to bathe in juice and wash my hair in smoothie. I have always been a juice lover, but not until this cult classic have I really being die-hard psycho pants. (OK, you can argue that I am die-hard psycho pants pre-JC, but let's not foray into the details). Each morning as I open my eyes to greet the beautiful world around us, all I can think is two things: 1. Sheesh, I am fucking awesome. 2. I need a Silvercup to maintain my aforementioned awesomeness. What is a silvercup? It should really be named diamond cup or fuck-yeah cup, but it's a delicious smoothie that makes a truly ideal breakfast. It has walnuts, kale, dates and unicorn pee ... oh my! I always get it with vegan protein powder because I want to be strong, obviously. I also pick up either a #12 (amazing cucumber based juice) or a #13 (like a better master cleanse) that I dilute with water to fuel my morning ritual. After JC, I feel invincible almost like the real JC (like in this case I mean Jesus) has blessed my little silvercup and sent me on to embrace the day and give the world a hug. Bottom line: GO! Well Juicecrafters has been open for about a week now, and I've been there three times already. They offer a great range of unique smoothies, juices, as well as the cleanses that everyone wants right now. I love how simple the ingredients on the menu are. They make everything in front of you. The space is small but feels like you're walking into a different tropical country when you go in. The owner David is very friendly and easy to talk to! He told me about his previous experiences working in the food industry around the world. A few of the smoothies on the menu are his creation. I LOVE the roots and greens lines! Oh! And I don't know how he does this but the juices don't separate! At other places, I've noticed my juices/smoothies separate into different layers after about 30 min. My roots stayed a nice dark blood beety red color even an hour after the press. So.....I work across the street. You can bet I'll be frequenting Juicecrafters this summer. read more

I had been craving something cool and refreshing with this summer heat. But I am also trying to stay away from anything processed and high in sugar. So after a friend raved to me about Juice Crafters, I just had to give it a try. I tend to live off of recommendations from my friends. First of all, let me tell you that it's very convenient to access JC from the street. Unlike the rest of LA, you can valet for free. Amazing! I was also a big fan of the decor and the design. It was exactly how I think that an organic juice bar should look . Loved it. I chose the watermelon, apple mint. It was so refreshing and it didn't have that processed sugary sweet taste that you get from Jamba Juice. I honestly enjoyed every refreshing sip. I'm ADDICTED to Juice Crafters! It's the talk of Brentwood and has a really cool vibe. I can't believe I found a delicious and healthy way to lose weight! First the cool look attracts you, then the scent of all the fresh fruits and vegetables pull you in, and then you're welcomed by their friendly employees. They have an interesting and delicious menu, and it's kept alive by the owners new creations. I love their cleanse number two - the first detox that actually tastes great. Yum!! Just came here for the first time and loved the protein bowl. I am by no means an acai bowl expert but I thought the flavor of the smoothie part of the bowl was exceptionally good here. I shared this between 2 people and thought the portion size was that way was great for a snack (also then you can split the $14 price). Workers were super nice and gave me some extra almond butter (YUM) when I asked. On the parking but: Brentwood can be difficult to find parking sometimes but you can get 45 minutes free behind the building! Will be back next time I'm in an acai mood! read more

Boy am I disappointed. When I saw this place on yelp I was super excited! I work in Brentwood and am always looking for new breakfast or lunch places. Decided to pass on my precious Starbucks this morning and give this place a go. It is small shop and located next door to Sansei. They are more of a walk in to go place as they do not offer any sort of seating, which is fine as smoothies and juices tend to be a grab and go item anyway. I understand that the whole weird/ healthy smoothie and juice thing is really trendy right now and I like the concept so although the menu is a little strange and doesn't have any of what you would call your "typical" smoothies I was perfectly okay with it. I ordered the watermelon, apple and mint smoothie. It was okay, not super flavorful not filling. I had it about an hour and a half ago and am STARVING!! Additionally, I dropped like $7.00 on it. I expect to pay a little more since it is "organic" and free fruits and veggies but you can get the same thing at whole foods for almost $2 cheaper. Lastly, the owner had a little sign out that said "review us on yelp get a free smoothie or juice". Which is kind of strange because I feel like no one would give them an okay or bad review then come back for a smoothie, so it is almost like you are buying reviews? Overall, I was not impressed I don't think I will be back anytime soon. read more

I don't frequent juice bars as much as I did in my organic-only vegan days (nope, I can't believe I did that, either) but when my roommate suggested we grab some acai bowls for breakfast I was game! Brazilian bowl has acai blend, strawberries, bananas, hemp granola, and coconut flakes. Non-GMO and pretty darn delicious! The fruit was ripe, the acai was smooth, and the granola was not overly chunky. It's the healthiest breakfast I've had in months and filled me up for quite a while! Haven't tried their smoothies, but I can see that they're very low in calories, and I appreciate that their printed menus list all of the benefits of the various fruits and vegetables. I noticed this place on Yelp yesterday, and that it had fantastic reviews. So, I figured I'd stop by and get a smoothie for breakfast. I really wanted to love this place, and since I love Smoothies, what could possibly go wrong. I'll tell you a couple of things that I didn't like about the place. First of all, the menu is a bit odd, and although I appreciate an odd smoothie, they should probably have a normal smoothie as well. I had the "Talk of the Town," and there wasn't much to talk about. It tasted like dark chocolate, which I love, but not much else. It was a bit over the top with the cacao nibs. They are a bit slow, it took me about 10 minutes to get my smoothie once I ordered it. Also, the lady working there dropped the measuring cup that she used to measure the coconut juice with on the ground, then picked it up without washing it and proceeded to use it. I know it's Organic and Dirt is part of it, but I'd prefer it not in my drink. Luckily the cacao nibs were strong enough to cover the taste of dirt, or whatever else was on the ground... It's a nice place if you're down to spend $7.50 for a partially dusty, mediocre smoothie. I wouldn't mind spending the money if it was worth it, but I think I'd just rather make my own at home. read more

I always ask for something "red" for my daughter (that's how she likes it) and a very nice girl behind the counter always treats us in the best way possible. Juice Crafters - Divine start! So yummy! - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I just completed my first ever 3-day juice cleanse, and it was a pleasant experience because Juice Crafters is seriously DELICIOUS. Of course I craved food, but I looked forward to every bottle of juice even on the final day of my cleanse. My juices were all packaged and ready for pick-up two days after I placed the order. I had 7 juices and 1 aloe vera water for each day of my cleanse. All together, they're heavy! Keep in mind how far your walk is to the car because you'll have to carry them out in a paper bag. Bring a sturdier bag to carry them if you have to. There's little to no parking in this area (no parking at meters before a certain time) unless you valet it behind the building. The valet guy let me park in the spot for a few minutes since it was early and I told him I was going to be quick :) Back to the juices.. none of them were overly sweet (which is what I was afraid of), they varied in flavor enough to not feel tired of drinking them-- two of their juices (for the master cleanse) have ginger in it, which I LOVE, but I know it's a bit of an acquired taste so be warned. In the end, I would totally do a cleanse with Juice Crafters again or come back for a healthy breakfast/lunch drink. P.S. On another occasion, I tried the Silvercup smoothie as a meal replacement and it was one of the best thing I've ever drank. Juice Crafters make me a happier and healthier girl-- It may be pricey but in the end, it's worth it. read more

Ok - I love this place... the fresh ingredients, the myriad choices of combinations. It's a wee bit pricey but - listen - if you're going to splurge on something why not make it something good for your health? I had a salad today that was sooo good it didn't need dressing! (The one with walnuts, spinach, coconut flakes & apple... they added strawberries. Serious yum. Again, no dressing needed. Just try it.) I've tried many of the juices -- my personal faves are #15 and #16. PS - today they forgot to make my salad in a timely manner and ended up volunteering to refund me the price... with an apology and strawberries on top. Literally. On April 1st, I stopped by Juice Crafters on Brentwood for a nice refreshing juice. It was around 1:30 pm, and I had hoped I'd missed the lunch crowd. I wasn't expecting a line, but I definitely got one. The line was about five people deep when I walked up and another five people were waiting for their orders, but the staff at Juice Crafter were working extra fast while smiling and talking with the customers so I found myself not caring too much about the wait. The blond lady (I think she was the manager) at the register knew everything and was super professional. It was my first time there so she gave me an explanation about all the different juices and the health benefits of each juice. She was extremely nice and eventually recommended that I should take the Muscle Builder smoothie for me and the Crunchy Monkey smoothie for my boy as well as an A-C-A-I (she said with a bit of accent :) ) bowl. Those were the perfect choices for us and I plan to stop there every time I'm in the neighborhood from now on. great service, great juices, highly recommended! read more

I L.O.V.E........ Juice Crafters - since they opened I've been there everyday sometimes twice!! I am so happy they opened in my home town of Brentwood. I have been a vegetarian practically my entire life & I survive on green drinks & juices. They make everything fresh at Juice Crafters w/ "Organic Produce". Its AMAZING!! The owners are the coolest too :) I love the vibe & steez - its such a cute & friendly place to grab your healthy drink of choice on the go. I'm a big acai bowl fan and was extremely disappointed with this place. I got the berry blast and was shocked that granola was not included in the $9 bowl (it was an additional $1.25). When my bowl came out the blend was extremely watery and tasted worse than a smoothie I would make at home. There were no more than 4 goji berries at the bottom and there was more coconut than smoothie itself. Overall, biggest waste of money, especially if you're looking for a nice, thick, filling acai bowl. You can make a better version of this at home for half the price and you don't have to deal with the overdone hipster vibe. I come here almost every other day and I now find time to write a review as I'm eating my acai bowl :) My favorite things are the green#3 cold pressed juice, the lemon cayenne shot(which the owner sometimes gives on the house, super cool people) and I can't live without my acai bowl!!!!! Iv been to other juice bars in LA, like pressed, but juice crafters def takes it to a new level, tastes so fresh and always a consistent taste! Im super excited that they just opened a new juice bar location near OC because my sister lives there and that's out new hangout! The quality of smoothies is definitely a 7.5 stars out of 5! The smoothies are great! They use almond milk and coconut water. I even tried Kale for the first time ever, so instead of feeling like you just drank a whole ton of citrus acid like most other places, you feel great and hydrated! I would only dock a star only because it is pretty expensive price point for a smoothie. I would love to go there everyday, but I don't think my 'eating out' budget could handle it. Yes, they have different kinds of juices for people doing those juice cleanse fads, but in terms of taste and creativity, Juice Crafters does not have much. I like to come here during the work week for my dinner shakes. My two favorites are the Lily and Silver Cup, Silver Cup being my #1 for quite awhile now. Keep track of your punch cards as the cost of each shake adds up. You're not saving a ton of money by drinking your dinners here. I dinged it one star due to the inconsistency of each shake. Sometimes you get a lot of one ingredient over the other, and other times the dates are still whole and not properly blended, the latter being the more common issue with my drinks. Cute juice shop in Brentwood. Woodsy calming interior counteracts the hustle and bustle of the numerous customers going in and out. They are busy here! I ordered the Summerland smoothie which featured kale, acai, cinnamon, romaine, banana, and almond milk. It had a bit of a gritty texture I wasn't too fond of and was curious as to what ingredient would cause that. Whirling through a vitamix everything should have been smooth. Hmph. The Root guru number 8 was more satisfactory. It was a cold pressed juice that featured bright red beet juice amongst other veggies. It hit the spot. I like that Juice crafters has a bit of a theme to their decor. Most juice places are barren and sparse. This shop is warm and inviting and makes you want to come back. read more

Pretty expensive, but solid acai bowl! My friend and I stopped in to satisfy an acai bowl craving, and got the original acai bowl. The texture and consistency of the acai is really great, which is hard to find in a lot of places. They don't give you a ton of toppings as you may see with other places (granola, banana, strawberry), but the great consistency is enough. Can't comment on any of the other things there I didn't try like smoothies or snacks. Did see that they were selling pretty expensive goods, like a small box of chia seeds for $7 or $8, which is crazy because you can get like 20 of those in a big bag at Costco lol. I have tried several smoothies here. Pacific love would have to be my favorite. It doesn't taste like your typical smoothie. It has a unique blend of your usual fruit flavors with maca, raw cacao nibs, almond butter, dates, coconut butter, almond milk, bee pollen, and royal jelly. As you can see there's a lot more interesting ingredients in these smoothies than what you would normally find at a regular smoothie shop. And the taste is amazing! If you haven't tried the smoothies here, it is well worth it. Of course, with increased quality, comes increased prices. Expect to pay roughly 8+ per smoothie. YUM! So I usually prefer solid food..because let's face it, when I'm hungry, I am down for a satisfying salad or a delicious protein style burger. But I was very pleased when coming to Juice Crafters! I ordered the "U LIKE UM" shake with strawberries/dates/almond milk/vanilla. It was sooo good. It tasted just like those ice-cream bars with strawberry on the inside and the vanilla/strawberry dotted cake bits on the outside. BUT, this was fresh, natural, and good for me. YUM. I really would like to try more flavors. The only reason I give this place a 4 is that it is a bit overpriced! I'm talking $6 or so for a regular sized shake. This review is for the smoothies. I was really excited to try this place. The ingredients look fresh and LA is always lauded as the center for healthy eating/lifestyle, so I thought it would be fantastic. I tried two of their smoothies. The first was the Blue Bird - a mix of nuts, almond milk & blueberries. When I first sipped it, it was great- creamy, with just a hint of blueberry sweetness, but not overly sweet. But as I continued to sip I realized that there was a very salty aftertaste to the drink (from the walnuts?) that was really dissatisfying when you're trying to hydrate! My tongue felt rather sensitive at the end of the smoothie after all the saltiness. I decided to give this place another shot by trying the U Like Um (strawberries, dates, almond milk). How could this simple smoothie go wrong? I knew this was going to be bad when I saw the woman preparing it fill the entire 16 oz. cup with ice cubes, fill it with almond milk, pour out some of the almond milk back into the original container, and then fill up the blender. She blended for about 30 seconds and poured it in my cup (leaving a substantial amount in the blender). What I received was a watery, chunky mess. I can honestly say this was the worst smoothie I've ever had. Don't even get me started on the price-- $7 for what literally amounted to a watery fruit blend? Even a five year old could do better. What a rip off. I was intrigued by the acai bowls, but honestly I don't think I could go back. Juice Generation back in NYC is much better than this mess! read more

I have walked past Juice Crafters many times and checked out their menu, but never ordered... until this past weekend. It was Saturday morning and I had a major juice craving. I stopped in and it was quite busy, which was a good sign. I chose one of the green juices, which they already had cold pressed in a container, but I asked if they could make it fresh for me. The staff was very happy to do so. I also tried one of the shots and it was potent and amazing!
