I've only had one dining experience at Juice's Ghost town, but it was a pleasant one. The restaurant/bar has a pretty cool ambiance. There is something ghosty about this restaurant. It's a big old house and once you are inside, it feels like you have fallen into a different time or space. It was almost 9 PM when we stopped by this restaurant, so there weren't many people dining. However, there were some customers drinking and having fun at the bar. The lights were dimmed, which, quite appropriately, made the place feel even more eerie. The food and service were good! I ordered a baked French onion soup as my first course. The soup was simply delicious. It was rich and oniony with a beautiful cheese crust on top. There were also croutons in the soup. For my main course, I ordered Alaskan king crab legs, which they serve on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. The crab legs were cooked properly and tasted quite good. The asparagus had too much smoke flavor for my taste. I would definitely return to this eerie Ghost Town for its food, service, and ambiance! read more

Well, I won't make this long, but short concise and to the point. If your in the area of Grafton, Cedarburg and Port Washington area, this is a must stop in place. First off, the drinks were A#1, we had Old Fashioned the way we like them. The crowd was over powering in chatter, friendliness and just plain joyous. This is a locals place but having been raised in Wisconsin this was right up our ally. We had to push up to the bar to order our drinks;(crowded places) many don't like but to me it proves it's a pretty good place. Of all my travels one thing I learned is to stop where there is usually a lot of vehicles. Asked a few questions while ordering: Can we eat at the bar? Nope There are side tables in bar area, can we eat at one of those? Yes, but you have to be quick, because as soon a someone leaves or goes into dining area, they are very quickly coveted. Locals have the advantage. Can we dine now or place our name on list? Yes, which we did. On our 2nd drink we were able to get 2 seats at the bar and soon became chat friends of the people next to us. We were asked where we are from, local or away. Soon we had a full fledged conversation going on. On the 3rd drink we had our name called, not bad for a place as well packed as this one. We were directed to the dining room whereby another large grouped area of people enjoying their drinks, sports and food. The real reasons we stopped here: we were hungry; we wanted a Friday night fish fry in Wisconsin; looking for a good Old Fashioned drink; friendly place and my wife's research pointed to a place down off this exit. As we merged onto the exit, there is new micro brewery on the right side as we drove by thinking maybe we should stop here, but faith took us to the main road off the exit, turn right. We had about a 2 mile drive but than we noticed Ghost Town on the left and the full parking lot. It was faith we abandoned our other find and stopped here. No regrets, the food (fish) was plentiful, the baked potato huge and the slaw tasty. A must stop. read more

Juice's Ghost Town is one of the most welcoming restaurant and bars around. I'm going to go down the list of things that make this place awesome. Please enjoy and participate! I have been to Juice's Ghost town every week for 12 weeks on all you can eat Prime Rib night. However, I don't always get the Prime Rib! Having said that I can say that I have not had one bad meal here. They are ALL good. So, imagine coming into a place that says ALL YOU CAN EAT PRIME RIB and enjoying many dishes? (and many great drinks with an awesome group?) The Prime Rib is good. Not great, not bad, but good. However, they have a secret weapon and it is called the "Reds". Their little red cut potatoes are extremely tasty. I order them with every meal...no matter what else is offered. That good! Now with that being said, let's discuss the prime rib. They have three cuts: sissy, queen, and king. Getting larger and larger by the name. They are all super tasty, but frankly, Prime Rib is just so fatty that I get kind of grossed out. So, the Queen is my max and it is great, but not my favorite cut of meat. Seems to be a Wisconsin thing. I like a ribeye or strip better. THE PORKCHOP: I have had the most delicious double cut pork chop and it is so unassuming. A super thick double bone-in pork cut with a slightly sweet, but not overpowering glaze on it. Yummy goodness. I love it and have actually had one dream about it. In fact, every time I order I ask myself is it the "French Cut" or something else tonight? I kind of use it as a measuring stick. This one actually deserves 5 stars. It is that good. THE SALMON: The salmon is a tough one for me. They offer a grilled salmon oscar that looks delicious on the menu. However, the first time I ordered it I was not impressed. The oscar is a mess. Small pieces of bagged popcorn shrimp, silly sauce. Not great. However, underneath all of that was a pretty great straight up grilled salmon. After my first disappointing time with it, I re-ordered with no Oscar. IT WAS AWESOME. Now, I had to try it twice, but that is why I am here...to help you, folks, out. Of course, I complimented my dish with the "reds"! THE STEAK: They are not a steakhouse, but the steaks are good and seasoned. Don't come in expecting prime meat, but if you want a tasty red meat experience this is good. THE TUNA: I had the Tuna special recently and they got it right and I got it wrong. See, I grew up on the coast and because I was in the middle of the country-ish I decided that the fish needed to be cooked longer than it needed to be and IIIII messed it up. Other than my mistake, the Tuna was great, tasty, flaky, and the pesto sauce it came with was freaking awesome. THE ATMOSPHERE: Alrighty, let's get to the bar and drinks and people. This place is like Cheers after a couple of weeks everybody almost knew my name. There isn't anything particularly specialized from a drink making perspective that is unique about Ghost Town, but they have just about every bottom and Top shelf liquor you need. I mean, they are not going to be pimping Pappy Van Winkle on a normal basis, but frankly, that's bs anyway! So you can get a GOOD stiff drink, some decent beers, but the kicker is everyone at the bar is awesome. The Bartenders really care about you and have a great time. The wait staff are friendly, fun and make good suggestions of dishes to try. The other patrons are obviously locals, but they have been so nice to us who come and visit. The personal aspect of this place is super fun and awesome. Family style is the best way to describe it. Before you know it, the shots are flowing with the locals. Amazing. Worth a stop and there is a lot of gangster history in this place...just ask around. If I could give it another 1/2 star I would. read more

Interesting how you see a restaurant and say I should check that place out, it's always busy it must be good. But you already have plans or just ate or the day time you want to go they are closed. Well this is one of those places for me. I originally said I should check this place out 3 years ago. Fast forward I have and now I've been back several times. Don't misunderstand it's not the greatest it's just always good food and drink at a fair price. Great fish fry! My wife and I came for the Friday night fish fry. We arrived late (around 8:30) and the place was still packed. It took less than 10 minutes to get a table though. I had the beer battered walleye and my wife had the breaded haddock. Both were excellent fish, cooked nicely. As good as the fish was, it was overshadowed by the outstanding potato pancakes. They were my ideal: crispy and nicely browned on the outside, but still creamy on the inside. That's how I like it, and what sets potato pancakes above any hash brown in my book! I had a great experience here the other day. Started off with lobster bites and fried pickles. The lobster bites appetizer was easily one of the best starters I've ever had. Highly recommend those and the fried pickles were also really good. I also tried the Philly Cheese Steak soup which was pretty good despite not being a soup lover myself. The warm bread they served with the soup was awesome. I ordered the 12 oz. filet mignon with 3 breaded shrimp and sadly I don't remember the specific name of the potatoes I ordered, but they were very tasty. My filet was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was decent. I may have tried the grilled shrimp instead, but it was still good. Service was great. We called ahead to make sure they were not booked and they were very helpful and welcoming. Our waitress was great: very helpful, knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. Nothing but positives to say about the service. They played a lot of great music in here which contributed to my positive experience. Only down side was that the tables were a little too close together for my liking and it was kind of cramped in the corner we were in. Other than that, the noise level and lighting were nothing I noticed as being negative. The bathroom was nice and also clean if you were skeptical about that since it is also a bar. I'm not from the area, but if I am ever back in Grafton I would like to stop here again. I would definitely recommend it. read more

This is a more casual feeling supper club. I loved that it is very relaxed and everyone is welcome. (You're sure to meet new friends!) The food does resemble the nicer supper clubs of "up north." I had the Salmon Oscar and enjoyed it. The others in my party enjoyed their steak and sandwich. Ashley was our waitress and the service was fabulous. She was very friendly and didn't rush us. The drinks from the bar were good and very reasonably priced. Lastly, if you like fried pickles, try them here. I loved the spears instead of the chips! Yum! The chicken cordon bleu was a frozen breaded chicken patty with slices of ham dropped on top, and covered in enough Swiss cheese to cover up that they didn't even know what the recipe was, then microwaved to rubber ripping heaven. All of this can be yours for downtown Milwaukee old world 3rd Street prices. As nice an old country bar as it looks and as friendly as the staff is, you have to question why they are serving food, why they are allowed to, and how people think that this is actually normal for a restaurant. read more

What a great find! My family loves prime rib and we decided to stop at Juice's Ghost Town. We were not disappointed. The portions are large and the flavor was fantastic! The fried baby red potatoes exceeded our expectations along with the other options of fries and baked potato. The French onion soup was the cup filled with onions,croutons and baked cheese covering the surface. What great atmosphere and a welcoming feel with out knowing a person in the place. We chose to eat here because we were told by a friend who owns a business in Grafton that the food was very good. When we walked in, we walked in with masks on and feel like we were immediately judged. Not a soul in the place was wearing a mask, including the staff. They also had a sign on the door stating that if you are eating or drinking there, you did not need one. The bartender was rude and basically barked at us because we didn't have a reservation. It took at least 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and when they did, they told us that we could sit at one of the bar tables without a reservation. What we should've done right then and there was leave, but we were already feeling a little dumb and out of place, so we didn't want to draw more attention to ourselves and thought we'll stay. Let's just put it this way, if you want to get COVID-19, this is the place to eat. They didn't have any distancing whatsoever, everyone was on top of each other, they were full to capacity as if we didn't have a global pandemic happening. People at the bar were making jokes about Covid and they proudly displayed a trump sticker behind the bar as well so it was obvious what they felt about this pandemic. We are kicking ourselves for not just leaving. The service was terrible, the people were rude and totally unwelcoming. Yeah, the food was good, but we will never go there again. We had fish fry last night. My broiled cod was delicious, but the potato pancakes were not so good, small and heavy with flour, not crispy, but I could tell they were home made. The coleslaw was just ok, nothing special. My friend ordered the cod lightly breaded, it was so disappointing, 2 small peaces of fish, deep fried to an almost burned looking with an heavy crust. The waitress returned it and she brought a broiled cod back which was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and service was good. I read the review about the bathroom being dirty, so I had to check it out. It was clean! I will come back and try something else, but not fish-fry. read more

I have just ate at this restaurant and OMG let me tell you all about it walking up the stairs walking to the bar you are meet by a puff of dust in your nostrils. Me and my mate are quite ecstatic that the prim rib eye had options of jack,queen or king size, the king size would be 24 oz of pure mouth watering juices that my mouth had never endured. The options of the fries were quite amazing so many options to choose from. A great place to catch the Packer's game! My wife and I were heading back to Milwaukee to catch a flight and wanted to catch a bite and see some of the Packer game before hitting the airport. We saw the sign for Juice's Ghost Town on highway 43 and said what the heck. Well, we were pleasantly surprised at the great rustic atmosphere, lively crowd, and attentive wait staff. Our waitress was superb! While she couldn't recommend one of the local brews (since she hasn't tried them because she isn't yet 21), she did help us find some great appetizers on the menu and made sure our beer glasses were never empty. We intended to only stay for a bite and a drink, but ended up staying for the rest of the game due to the great fun we were having. Drop in and give them a try! I have had some ups and downs at this place. The first time I went, it was outstanding, but then the next time just okay. I have continued to have this teeter-totter experience and I just can't figure out why. I will keep this a 3 for now and will consider moving it up in the future. The place is small, so it can get crowded. Thank goodness for the non-smoking law in Wisconsin now becasue this place (mainly a bar) was really bad for smoke prior to the law being passed. read more

Great, cold beer!! I had the Cajun pork chops and it was awesome!! The pork was very tender and the spices made it delectable. From there, add on a Cajun cream sauce and I was stuffed. The best part was I took home one of the pork chops since I was full. My parents chose the meatloaf, which had ketchup and bacon on the top. With corn and mashed potatoes on the side, I can only guess it was delicious since they were contently eating away. A note for the drinkers: when the train goes by, shots are only $1! A table of four was there before us and had waited 30 minutes and still had not had their order taken so they left. They left because a table for 6 came in. The waitress knew them. She immediately got them their water and then took their orders, all while we sat there looking in disbelief. We know she knew we were there because the bartender told her. After 30 minutes we left. It's kind of an odd looking place that was close to my hotel. I decided to give it a try. The staff and patrons were very friendly, and the open-face steak sandwich was delicious at a very reasonable price. My hotel said to be sure to ask about the "Ghost Town" name. I did, and the server took a letter off the wall and brought it to my table. The place has a bit of an interesting history. I was recommended this place by a family friend, but with our experience I will never be coming back. My husband ordered wings, which is his goto order at every new restaurant we try. When he got his food and bit into one of the wings he immediately had to spit it out because it tasted like sour expired chicken. When the waitress came back he calmly explained to her that he couldn't eat them. She was completely rude to us and didn't even apologize. My husband felt bad and didn't even ask for new food to be made. She came back a few minutes later and said they tasted the wings in the kitchen and there was nothing wrong with them and that he must have just had the crazy idea in his head that they were bad. I've gone past this place many times saying that I need to go there to check it out. Since it always looked pretty busy on Friday or Saturday nights, I decided to make a reservation early in the week. My wife and I went this past Saturday night and it was again quite busy. It reminds me of a Wisconsin supper club with a big bar up front and a smaller dining room off the side. Very friendly and welcoming athmosphere You can pretty much go for the gigantic meal (i.e. crab legs or prime rib) or settle in with a dinner salad or a sandwich. This trip we went for a chicken raspberry salad for my wife and a Norb sirloin steak (8 ounce) sandwich for me. Food was great and reasonably priced (salad was about $9 and ditto for the steak sandwich). Service was efficient and the meal came from the kitchen pretty fast in spite of being a packed house. The dining room was a bit cramped with tables being way too close. Looks like summer dining might include a covered/screened porch so maybe something to think about for nice weather. It was also a bit dark and need to use the candle to read my menu Next time I go, I'll give the prime rib (20 ounce) a try, assuming that my wife will spilt it with me. They do have a sharing charge ($6) for such things but you get a potato and salad for that charge. read more

This was the second time I was there and this time was just as bad as the first. As you walk in the door you are hit with the stench of stale beer and booze. This is disgusting. The first time I had fish which was greasy. I do not like their choices of fish. However I did not choose this dive bar, my friend did. This time I opted for a sandwich and fries. I also ordered the seafood chowder. It was watery and gray with big pieces of chewy clams. It was terrible it even had pieces of tomato in it. What kind of seafood chowder was this? My fries were not the usual length but broken pieces of potato. The meat in my sandwich was not cut properly so it was stringy. The service was fine but that is no reason to dine at a location if the food is substandard. Overall this place really deserves only a quarter of a star!! Save your money!!! read more

Had a wonderful birthday dinner. Full rack of ribs were meaty and the BBQ sauce was tangy. The filet was cooked perfectly and the side of mushrooms and onions was quite large. I had the grilled chicken pesto sandwich, which was delicious! My brother had the fish fry. (3 different fish--Perch, haddock, walleye. I've only eaten at Juice's twice, when visiting from out of town so I may not be the best judge. Both times were on a Friday night and both times I had the pan fried walleye. Growing up in Minnesota, I miss fresh walleye so any opportunity and I'm all over it. Based on only the two meals, I'm giving them a five star rating. I had the potato pancakes for a side and they were great. The walleye was cooked perfectly and I had two very nice sized fillets. Top it off with a few "Wisconsin style" Bourbon Manhattans and you walk out of there very satisfied. Will eat at Juice's every time we're back in that neck of the country! read more
