There's nothing like having a beautiful dinner with my mama! We met up in LA for the weekend, so this was perfect for our first night out. We arrived around 8pm and were greeted by the wonderful host, who squeezed us in even though I messed up on the reservation. Totally kind crew. Mama and I were sat immediately and we ordered a few delicious items: We started off with The whipped cod. WOW this was so flavorful and delicious. Accompanied by some crusty bread and radish. Absolutely wonderful! Next we had the Salmon Carpaccio. Flattened salmon, with a yummy mustard sauce on top. Mom pulled out her handy dandy chopsticks for this one. So so good! We had a big and beautiful salad with a delicious and light vinaigrette, yellow beets, and capers. This was fresh crunchy and light. Exactly how I love my salads. Finally, to close out the meal we had the crudo and this was both of our favorite! Buttery fish in a delicious lemon sauce topped with Serrano oil. We could have easily had bowls upon bowls of this. So incredible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful dinner over at Juliet! Incredible meal, amazing staff, and stunning restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Such a lovely dining experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This beautiful restaurant was very romantic and had delicious food to match.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is available through valet or self parking or street parking. I really loved how the menu was concise and not too overwhelming. My group and I ordered a lot of different plates so there was a good variety of things. Started off strong with my cucumber spritz which was absolutely divine. I also had the oysters, Crudo, the duck cigars and the sea bream. All of those items were exquisitely prepared and had really good flavor. For dessert, we had the eclairs and the chocolate mousse and the Madeleines which were served warm with whipped cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a beautiful place if you want to have a quiet dinner and great food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was ok, it did take a while for our main entrees to come out but we were made aware of the time before hand.

"My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite" - Juliet, This was a last minute dinner choice after my host's first pick was full. Juliet is a French inspired Michelin new discovery restaurant in Culver City. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Gorgeous interior with professional, courteous service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wine list is mostly French with a good number of choices on the menu listed as sold out. Found a Nuits St George Burgundy though at a decent price that turned out to be a stunner. We shared oysters that were mostly Washington, but since we took the last ones they threw on some Baja ones too. Both types were excellent with a lovely salmon roe sauce. Entrees were shared and the lamb was excellent albeit the olive tapenade was too noticeable. The duck cigars (taquitos?) were the star and I could have happily devoured more of these. The risotto was excellent too. Wished there was a bread service but maybe there was a paid option that I missed. Wished the lamb had some accompaniments too. I drove home and then realized I was still hungry! [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the food tasted excellent, the service was top notch, and the room was lovely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recommended!

Came with a big group so my expectations were managed. I tried the whipped cod dip, chicken liver tartlet, sliced hiramasa, endives, hamachi collar, boneless half chicken and madelines. Nothing really stood out and service was sooooo slowwww, but generally tasty food. 3.5 stars.

stumbled upon this place last minute for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by how incredible everything was! the syrups are made in house and they had many speciality drinks on the menu. the food was also very memorable, highly recommend the steak tartare and breakfast sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]both the inside and outside are beautiful and i'd love to come back to try more![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Juliet is a very beautiful restaurant (and surprisingly big).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What's not big is its menu. It is a VERY tight menu. The options are definitely limited. But the things I ate did deliver. I got the cod dip--really smooth and tasty with some nice grilled bread (possibly a dash too burned but still good). They also served with a bunch of radishes if you want... less carbs?!? Next, I went with their signature chicken liver tartlet. I don't really like taste of liver and normally wouldn't order it but it was not a problem here (there was a faint taste of liver but it mostly just contributed a rich smooth texture to the filling). Bizarrely, this dish actually kind of tasted like a salad with its apple gelee, hazelnuts, and then this topping which I thought was frozen and shaved blue cheese but I discovered (by asking) that it was frozen and shaved brown butter. The whole dish was very good though. Although, honestly, a little bit hard to eat with a fork because everything kind of crumbles and it's hard to pick up. I got the Special Potion cocktail with calvados which was good (a dash strong though). Lastly, I got the half chicken plate with mushroom and truffle jus. The chicken is deboned which makes it easy to eat. I liked the bread underneath soaking up the jus. Overall, very homey and satisfying (although, it KIND of tasted, and I know this sounds like anninsult, like a exquisite chicken frozen dinner--you kind of get chicken and mushroom and the standard French herbs in those sometimes). The server was excellent and very friendly. Overall, I definitely enjoyed my meal.

My review is actually for "the petit Juliet' matcha & cofee: [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is absolutely divine! I fell in love with the ambiance, the music, the energy emanating from the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I randomly stumbled upon this place after leaving Tia Health right next door. I got their cinnamon (le cannelle) coffee and I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back for it again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Juliet was a beautifully designed restaurant with modern rustic vibes and lots of natural light. It was a nice atmosphere with light background music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was great. He was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us recommendations. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to atmosphere or service. The food was rather bland both in taste and looks. There was no color in the food; in fact, they all look pretty similar. The same can be said for the taste - they all tasted similar and nothing really jumped out in terms of flavor. Given the high prices for the dishes, we expected much more. To be transparent, we ordered six dishes, one mocktail, one cocktail, and one beer, all of which totaled about $300. Note that they also add a 4% fee to every check.

Went to Juliet with my fiance recently and it was magnifique! Upon entering, you will notice that this restaurtant has a unique french flare according to my fiance due to its open glass doors and the decor. All the foods we ordered were amazing! I highly recommend the duck cigars and their madeleines. While Culver City is difficult to park in, I would recommend parking in the business neighborhood around the corner.

My wife and I first had dinner at Juliet last summer, and from that very first visit, we knew it was a special place. The experience left such a lasting impression on us that when it came time to choose a venue for our wedding reception. No questions,we wanted to celebrate at Juliet. From beginning to end, the team made us feel so well taken care of. The service was incredible, and everyone went above and beyond to help make our celebration feel seamless and unforgettable. We are truly grateful for the care, attention, and kindness they showed us throughout the process. The food was outstanding and is still something our family and friends talk about. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is just as memorable, the decor, the design, and even the thoughtful details like the plates and glassware all come together to create such a beautiful dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you to everyone at Juliet for helping make one of the most important days of our lives so special. We'll always have wonderful memories here and look forward to celebrating many more milestones with you in the future.

Juliet has the polish of a French brasserie, the ease of a patio restaurant, and a menu where pretty much everything feels worth ordering. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The room is beautiful, the service handled our group really well, and the no-corkage fee makes it an especially good call for a celebratory dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Had a lovely brunch here with one of my best friends for her birthday. The service was amazing even offered to take a picture of us at the end of we liked (& did not disappoint) haha. The ambiance of this restaurant is beautiful. From the entrance to the bar to the bathroom there is something so stunning to look at in every corner. The details are just chefs kiss. Now even though we could hardly pronounce the items on the menu because it was in French, I am only speaking on the crepes because that is what we had ordered for brunch, they were delicious very sweet but the perfect portion. The drinks were also DELICIOUS. A must try with the girls. Would love to come back and try their dinner menu.

A trendy French restaurant with beautiful food, that's just okay tasting. The scallops and the endives were the best parts of the meal, everything else was not worth it. Their desserts are definitely better than the food. The service and ambiance are excellent, but overall I can't say their prices match the quality of food. Chicken liver tartlet - 2/5, the flavor is not bad, but I've had better liver mousses. The white, buttery crumbles are not the best topping, they were messy and not appealing to look at. Endives - 4/5, I really enjoyed the endives. The peppery mustard seeds dressing went really well with the blue cheese. Duck cigars - 1/5, very disappointing. They were freshly deep fried, but lacking in any kind of duck flavor. Scallops - 5/5, seared to perfection and so decadent in a buttery sauce topped with lots of chives and trout roe Risotto - 3/5, had a lot of potential. The mushrooms on top were grilled well, but overall it was just super salty so I couldn't eat very much of it. Madelines - 5/5, WOW these brown butter madelines were fresh and so soft Eclairs - 4/5, the chocolate sea salt is super rich and the yuzu poppy is so light and refreshing!

It was pretty quiet at 10:00 on a Saturday night, and we were able to grab seats at the bar. Service was fast and polite. We ordered a Midas Touch and a Big in Japan, both decent cocktails that cost a full $30 apiece. Bartender Frank clearly wasn't hired yesterday, several guests knew him. The bites portion of the HH menu has 11 items, including several famous dishes, which Frank said were full-sized portions. I ordered the Farmer's Plate (roasted veggies, hummus, muhamarra, burrata and grilled toast) and Spanish Fried Chicken, which came with a romesco aioli. I've had the farmer's plate before and it is delish. The veggies probably vary seasonally, but the creamy hummus and burrata and the kicky muhamarra were as fondly remembered. This was my first taste of the fried chicken, although I have had the roasted chicken "ode to Zuni". This was boneless thigh meat, well-seasoned but fortunately for me not heat-spicy. The aioli was fine, but the chicken was fine without it too. Two days later I would try the 5-fat fried chicken at Darling. Theirs was more chili-powder forward, also not too heat-spicy, perhaps more one-note, served with honey and hot sauce. I'd order either again. AOC's serving is larger. So if I made it to brunch here, I would have ordered the walnut sticky bun and steak frites or herb omelette. Something to look forward to in non-heatwave weather.

The Bottom Line 3.75 stars: Great ambiance. Good overall service. Nice drinks and good food. Highly…read morerecommended but with a few pointers as noted down below. Location 4 stars: On the 3rd Street East of Robertson, in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles. We opted for the convenience of Valet Parking (for a fee). There is some street parking, but it is a busy area so I would assume it would not be very straightforward. Venue 4 stars: Cute restaurant with a full bar, indoor seating and a rustic patio area. Service 3.75 stars: Server-dependent... We had servers switched on us mid-steam. The first one was super friendly and attentive and helpful, but the one who took over was just OK. The manager was wonderful and circled around making sure that everything was going well. Drinks 4 stars: AOC is mainly a wine bar. They have as huge list of wines but also some tasty specialty cocktails and a full bar. We had the Kingbird, the Mezcal Royale, Flor De Jamaica and a Grey Goose Martini. All were well-made and delicious. Prices were OK but a little on the higher side. Food 3.75 stars: AOC is known for its farm-to-table small plates, and we did try some of their famous ones, but were not as satisfied as we had anticipated. First off, the portions, especially for the prices, are tiny... We had the Bacon Wrapped Dates (good but super small portion), Haricot Verts salad (just ok), the Shrimp (good), the Clams (good), the Grilled Seabass (good), the fries (great) and their famous Spanish Fried Chicken (too greasy for our taste). They do have a nice menu of desserts, but we did not try any this time around. Billing 2 stars: They add 7% to every check to provide health insurance for the employees. While I fully appreciate and applaud the cause and also the fact that they disclosed this at the bottom of the menu (which not everyone looks at) and also noted that the customer could ask for it to be removed (but c'mon, in reality, WHO in their right mind would feel right asking???), why not simply add this to their prices?
