black dog and gogo juice cocktails
    Juliana L.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night with reservations, and it was absolutely worth it. The views are stunning and the atmosphere is everything you'd want for a night out. The place was full of great energy--everyone laughing, catching up, and enjoying themselves--which made the experience even better. To start, my partner ordered the GoGo Juice, and I had the Black Dog. Both cocktails were delicious and strong. . The octopus was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered the 20 oz. steak, and it was cooked exactly to temperature. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and checked in on us throughout the meal without. It's the perfect spot for a date night or special occasion, and we can't wait to come back!

Had to stop by and check out this IE rooftop , the parking situation was a little odd there was security in the parking lot that directed us to a parking lot on the side of the building that is specifically for the restaurant, apparently the hotel and restaurant are completely separate. So unlike most places that are inside of hotel you enter the front of the hotel and go to the restaurant this place you go to the side of the building and find an elevator and go to the roof, anyways it was fine just odd. Nice environment we came with no reservation on a Sunday apparently you normally need one, food was yummy service was friendly , drinks were good. Enjoyed it!

Just want to say this place is great but I can see it being greater with just one thing...more umbrellas. When the sunset is not out yet and you're early that sun is blazingggg hot and it's the IE it's also like 100 degree weather, I would die if I was in the direct sun and there was no shade. Kinda irritated me when the front desk said "we can't guarantee an umbrella, bc if I sat in the sun I would've left". Anyways we got "lucky" and we sat in the shade and then after that our experience was way better. First off Violeta our server was really sweet, she really catered to our party and her recommendation of the spicy shrimp pasta (that was only a special that weekend, it should be on the main menu) it was sooooo good. It was spicy but not too spicy and had lots of flavor with plump juicy shrimp. We ordered another plate to go!! That good! Their chili sauce fries were all super good, the sauce they provided was super good and flavorful as well. I also recommend their short ribs, super tender and soft, their vegetables and mashed potatoes also seasoned well. The food was all well balanced and flavorful. The ambiance is super nice for pics too, sunset is really pretty, I'd say get reservations during sunset tho. It's really pretty during that time and not super hot, again this IE weather is crazy especially during summer time. We would go back!! Something finally rooftop and local, highly recommend!

Had a reservation for this place as we had a larger group. It is breezy and pretty cold in the spring time, so make sure you bring a jacket for dinner. Also if you're catching the sunset, make sure you don't forget your sunglasses as the sun may be directly in your eyes. The place being a rooftop restaurant means you have pretty good views of the surrounding area. The service was great as we had no less than 4 people checking in on our table. Now the food came out pretty quickly and was great. The short rib had great flavor, but was slightly dry. The mashed potatoes were really good and so was the broccolini. Everyone else said their dishes were great. The think the portions were perfect and the price was reasonable. I look forward to another visit to try other menu items. The only gripe I have, and it is very minor is that the room leading to the elevator on the first floor is tiny, which was pretty full with our group and the people leaving the elevator.

This was my second time at Junes. I'm glad that even though we booked a 6pm a lot, we were able to see the sunset while we had dinner. The food was wonderful as always but I do think the price is a bit steep for the quality. The service was also a big delayed as it took us a good while before we were able to order after being sat, appetizers and waiting for our check. Still a fan of this spot but I still think the price point is a bit high for the menus given.

Junes was such a great vibe for date night. We did not want to drive to Anaheim to another rooftop restaurant so I searched one near us and Junes popped up. I called in and the staff was so nice to squeeze us in for a table of 2. This really made my day because I was desperate to have a rooftop dinner! Lol anyways we got there and the parking is shared with hotel parking so there's parking all over. We walked to the door and there's an elevator with signs that guide you on where to go. We get to Junes and once the elevator doors open up you step into a whole new world. So much tranquility and Beautiful vibes I swear the place had such good energy oozing. The decor was dainty which I loved and as soon as I saw the color coordination of the restaurant I was like wait a min I have to see who owns this restaurant! Such a great job with everything. Back to the review the food was delicious we ordered chicken meatballs for appetizer they were Made with leeks, spinach, feta, creamy leek sauce it was very scrumptious and for our main course SHORT RIB plate which was au jus, sumac, potato & sunchoke mash, garlic broccolini. Wow the flavor in that rib was soooo mouth watering . My taste buds were going crazy! The broccolini was huge I haven't seen those in a while which means good product lol . I definitely recommend coming here. Wish I could have stayed to see the night ambiance' maybe next time.

June's is my go-to spot whenever I'm craving great food, amazing service, and an incredible view! The sunsets here are absolutely beautiful and make the whole experience even better. If you haven't checked it out yet, you definitely need to! Be sure to make a reservation so you don't have to wait. You won't regret it!

First off...the view and sunset were amazing. The food was delicious. We got the focaccia and artichoke to start. Both had good flavor. We had the beet salad , short ribs, and grilled chicken. So tasty! Server was great...didn't rush us, recommended a few items on the menu. Will definitely come back!

Recently attended a birthday party here and we really enjoyed their food especially that we're eating for free, lol! First of all the place is very cool. Imagine eating outside in the open and on a rooftop of a building, very cool indeed! From the appetizers and main dish, we really liked it. The popcorn chicken were very flavorful, crunchy and tender at the same time, the bread was good but I had better. What i really like was their caesar salad. Probably one of the best caesar salad I've ever had. The idea of crushing the croutons and spreading iver a salad was genius. From the dressing, cheese and chicken was perfect appetizer for me. The spicy fries i like because I love spicy food but it might be too spicy for people who dont like spicy food. The crunch on that fries was perfect. I also had the beef short rib, very very tender but i thought it lacked an umami flavor to it, but it is still good dont get me wrong. The salmon dish was ok. It was a little tough and a tad bit dry but still delicious. Our server was very nice, quick service ! Kudos to her! Yah Overall we enjoyed our first time there and would have come back if it was only a few minutes away from me, but sadly im about 80 miles away.

We had an 8:00 PM reservation for a party of five. While our seating and initial appetizers were prompt, we waited over an hour for our main courses. Ultimately, only two of our five entrees arrived. When we inquired, we faced an additional 35-minute delay in communication. A bar supervisor assured us our bill would be comped due to the delay. However, the final check only discounted a single meal. Seeking to avoid a scene, we paid the remaining balance and asked for our food to be packaged to go. Unfortunately, upon arriving home, the quality of the food was entirely unacceptable. I have attached a photo of the meal for your review. Given the combined experience of a two-hour delay, unfulfilled management promises, and unedible food, I would not recommend coming to Junes.

Highly recommend a reservation!! Parking is easy, views are gorgeous! The bathroom has a pretty view, it's co-ed as well! Food was okay but the drinks were beautiful and strong! Service is fast and friendly !

Is it good vibe for kids?

This place is mostly for adults as it can get noisy when the place is full.

    Are walkins allowed?

Yes, they are allowed. So far I don't think they've ever been so busy to demand reservations, but that may change. Last time I went there we walked in, but we came early.

Wanting to sample a cross-section of offerings, we began our dinner with soup and salad. Diane liked her bowl of orange-hued Lobster Bisque, and I enjoyed my bowl of hot and angry-red Garden Tomato Soup and salad of Field Greens with multi-colored Grape Tomatoes. Flatbread smeared with Herb Butter was very good, as well. A few Grilled Sea Scallops were warm and sizable enough as an appetizer, in addition to a side skewer of fairly large and tasty Grilled Shrimps. And Diane and I both raved about our chosen entree of Ginger-Sesame Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. The fish was flaky and cooked perfectly--in the league of the best we have ever had. At first I was disappointed that the restaurant was out of requested Tartar Sauce. But it soon became apparent that none was needed. A bed of Rice Pilaf served as a soft base for the fish for me, and Diane had Yukon Mashed Potatoes fulfill the same purpose for her chosen main. Specially requested French Fries were also gladly prepared by the chef. The skin-on variety, they were soft on the inside and okay overall. Throughout the course of the meal we received excellent multi-person service, led by our principal server, Marie. We expect to return for more of that wonderful Sea Bass. For more than twelve years, our group has gathered at the Third Street Wine Shop every Wednesday…read morenight. We were first introduced to one another by the previous owners, Mary and Jim, during one of their events--little did we know those introductions would grow into lifelong friendships. Over the years, our Wednesday Wine Nights became a tradition we all cherished. When we learned that the shop was going up for sale, we were understandably nervous. We wondered what would happen if it didn't sell--where would we go? And if it did sell, what if the new owners changed the shop in ways we didn't love? What if we didn't connect with them the way we had with Mary and Jim, who had become family to us? Then it happened, the shop sold. We were introduced to Maria and Veronica, and it was truly love at first meeting. They are two of the kindest, most welcoming women, and they have brought fresh ideas and wonderful energy to the shop. Our Wednesday Wine Nights continue today, and we are grateful to have gained new friends in Maria, Veronica, and their families, who help run this warm, family-operated business. The Third Street Wine Shop remains a place where you are welcomed the moment you walk in--where the owners make you feel like you're their only guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasting, a glass, or a bottle of exceptional wine, paired with one of their beautiful charcuterie boards or other delicious snacks. And for those who prefer beer, they offer a great selection of local craft options as well. We hope to see you there soon!

Late review from my visit back in January. I set off to start my New Year's resolution to take time…read moreoff and take myself on solo dates and this was my first stop and it was perfect! I started off at the Ceramic Museum just 10 minutes away highly recommend it. I arrived soon after opening since one thing closed at 5 and the other opened at 5 so ideal timing for my adventure. I arrived in ideal time to be seated outside right under the porch and mind you I arrived right before a rush of groups began to arrive after me. While I was alone I didn't feel lonely as the staff was so friendly and continued to check on me. They got busy but still catered to me as I went through my wine tasting. I ordered a season tasting and it was a perfect tasting for a fresh winter night it was not too cold and not too hot just perfect Cali weather for an evening under a porch. I also ordered a mini charcuterie board for myself and it was so perfectly delicious. I never say perfect so many times in one review I wish I could give it more an extra star. It was a lovely evening in a lovely part of town and I would highly recommend going. I went on a Friday. Parking was plentiful when I went. It was lovely to support a local business.
