The original cheesecake is better than the original cheesecake in Cheesecake factory in my opinion and don't get me wrong because I also like Cheesecake factory. The base of the cheesecake is like a very thin moist spongecake. The cheesecake is crumbly when you cut through it but texture is smooth and not overly sweet. Junior's is a New York Delicatessen that is famous for their cheesecakes. The Las Vegas Location is in the Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip. They offer all day breakfast, BIG sandwiches, BIG steak burgers, BIG 1/2 pound hot dogs, soups, salads, and entrees. There is also a bar. This Junior's is one of my neighbor's favorite restaurants so I wanted to give it a try. They ask if you want the complimentary pickles. We said yes so we got some. WOW! The pickles are so sour I can't eat them. We shared a pastrami & Corned beef combo (menu reads on onion rolls). They were well packed sliders on plain rolls. The corned beef was kinda bland. The pastrami was very unusual and taste exactly like a hot dog. The Nova and Bagel was very disappointing. The bagel was similar to a Lender's Frozen bagel. The lox was similar to week old packaged supermarket lox and this came with an unripe slice of tomato. Since Junior's is famous for their cheesecakes I wanted to try one. I was going to try the Keylime cheesecake but my server warned me that one lacks lime flavor and is disappointing. She said her favorite was the raspberry so I went with it. I think it actually was better than the Junior's cheesecake I tried somewhere else (maybe a Costco sampling?) Avoid this Juniors. If you are familiar with the New York location, this is not that. The food here was worse than terrible. I ordered the French toast and it taste like cardboard. It was obviously frozen, microwaved and sitting out under a heat lamp dried out. I repeat, do not order the French toast. Even with syrup and whipped cream, I could not digest. It was beyond terrible. My daughter had the pancakes. Children's meals are not offered for breakfast. Her pancakes weren't bad and my husband's food was okay. I have had better free continental breakfast! Our server was the good. She subtly warned me that the French toast was not the best, but I didn't understand the hint until I saw the disaster and everything clicked. I was excited to experience a great deli pastrami sandwich like New York or Chicago or Juniors in Los Angeles before they closed. The pastrami was dry as saw dust. Then they grilled it which dried it out even more. Absolutely terrible. I went there a second time to try it again. Just as bad. This is not what a pastrami should taste like. Junior's at Resorts World is a better, more interesting option than than the meager buffet it replaced in this spot at Resort's World. I stopped in for a quick bite before heading off to the airport. I was seated quickly at a table, with no wait, and also given the option to sit at the counter. 4 stars all around for service and ambiance. I wanted a light meal and ordered the Berries and Yogurt Parfait which they were willing to give me even though it was past the time where they serve their full morning menu. So thanks so much for that, Junior's! It was good and exactly what I needed after an indulgent night in Vegas. The coffee wasn't great. Standard diner coffee on the weak side. Far too often coffee seems to be an afterthought at breakfast places and that was the case here. Coffee needs to have some boldness to it or else it very quickly devolves into browned water. It was hot enough but really, breakfast restaurant people, put as much thought into the coffee as you do the rest of your menu. I'd come back out of convenience. Let me start by saying we weren't planning to eat here. We were planning to eat at one of the Asian restaurants in the Food Hall at Resorts World, but the restaurant we wanted was closed on Wednesday night. After circling around, we landed on Junior's even though we really didn't feel like deli food, especially with it being our last night in Vegas. We ordered the matzo ball soup, roast beef sandwich, roast turkey dinner, fruit cheesecake, and Devil's food cheesecake. The matzo ball soup was comforting and super-flavorful. But what really blew us away was the roast beef, and also the roast turkey. Those were high quality meats. The mashed potatoes and the gravy that came with the turkey was delicious too. This dinner beats some Thanksgiving turkey dinners we've had! Service was pretty good too - very relaxing ambiance. In terms of the cheesecake, the fruit cheesecake was a little too dense and cheesy for me. But the Devil's food cheesecake was definitely a winner. Hard to believe that I would be willing to come back to Vegas for a roast turkey dinner, but I'm saying it now. read more

First of all, Rudie is awesome. He helped me today at the to go order stand. I asked for his name and told him I'd be writing a review. I stayed at Resorts World over the past weekend. I am a bartender and I worked the When We Were Young festival right up the street. As many of you know, it's a brutal all day festival for 2 days straight. As a bartender, we work 17 hour shifts. I checked in on Friday at the hotel, and was told I have a $100 room credit for food to use over the weekend. It was only me staying there, so I was stoked. After working my first 17 hour day, I got back to my room and decided to order room service from Junior's. I attempted to order on Grubhub, but for some reason it wasn't working. I called the restaurant 3 times and got hung up on each time but whoever kept answering the phone. I decided to walk down to the restaurant and place a to go order myself. This was around 11:30pm. I ordered a garden salad, the brisket platter, and the strawberry cheese pie. Exhausted and starving, I made my way back up to my room. I should have checked, but once I opened my bag, I realized the cheese pie was not in the bag. This was at around 11:50pm. I immediately called the restaurant, and a woman answered the phone. I explained what happened and asked what to do. She said a few times "we are almost closed", and offered zero help. She said I could run back down and try to grab the dessert, but again, they were closing. I told her I didn't think I would make it. She was very short, very snappy. I asked to speak to a manager, to which she replied "I'll get my manager so they can tell you the exact same thing I just told you." Wow. Manager gets on the phone, I explain everything, and she offers to refund my room charge for the cheese pie. She apologized, and was very kind. Jokes on you to whoever initially answered the phone. But whatever. This morning I still had room credit to use, so I decided to get breakfast before I checked out. Room service again wasn't working, and concierge couldn't help me after I called them, so I again walked back down to the restaurant. I was greeted by Rudie. Very, very nice man. I explained everything and what had happened at my last visit. We laughed about a couple more things, had a nice convo, and he assured me that he would grab the strawberry cheese pie first and make sure it was in the bag. He also made a delicious vanilla/ chocolate latte, and packed up my order. Give him a raise. Over all, the food over the weekend was just okay. This morning I had the eggs benedict. Needed more flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy in the brisket platter was amazing, but the brisket wasn't great. Salad was pretty good. Cheese pie ended up being a little dry (after all that!) We flew into Vegas on a Tuesday morning and decided to come here for some breakfast. Loved the table arrangements because it was spacious and without feeling crammed. The chicken sausage was good. I ordered a side order of it thinking they would be small but they turned out to be quite big. My avocado toast was a little bit of a disappointment because I can tell it was not freshly smashed. Might not have been so bad except I ordered Eggs Benedict. The server at the bar was slow and confused. He got other orders wrong & was having trouble operating the POS. Even though I got the wrong order I still ate it because I had to catch a plane. That being said, everything here was average at best. Decided to stop by here after gambling. We were hungry and figured we try this place out since it's in the casino. The chicken tenders were amazing. It was so good and juicy. It was a pretty big portion size. The Romanian style steak looked more like fajitas, like the presentation and seasoning tasted more Hispanic style. Now to be fair, I don't know what Romanian style is supposed to taste, as to why I wanted to try it out. The dish was not bad, it was still pretty good. My husband got the bbq mix with the ribs and chicken but he was not impressed with it. He said that the chicken was dry and wished they used the same bbq sauce for both the chicken and ribs but it was two different sauces with different flavor taste. My husband was more impressed with the chicken tenders and had high expectations for the bbq since the tenders tasted so good. I'd love to come back to try the dessert because they looked so good. The service was great. Our server, Ana was attentive, especially since my husband asked to substitute items in his dish. She noticed that the kitchen didn't change one of his items and she caught it right away and changed it. She was patient with us since it was our first time. The ambiance was not bad. Kinda close with the other tables but it was pretty empty when we arrived. Pretty well-lit. I'm not too much of a fan that any one walking passes by can easily see us eating.
