Nothing earth-shattering, it was just that the small staff was quite a hard-working crew. One young female employee came in while we were eating. She brought her small child in, sat him down at a table where he quietly read a book, and then immediately worked the busy line. An older male employee was very proactive in helping guide people through their orders while keeping them moving. What impressed me was how he covered for his young colleague when she needed to bring her child something to drink. Then she covered for him when he had to go in the back to refill the salad bowls. They worked like clockwork and didn't say a word to each other. You could just tell they got along and focused on providing efficient service. That struck me as even healthier than our salads. It was ok, my favorite thing to eat here that I enjoy eating the most is the buffalo cauliflower, it's so different from any competitors who make salads. This bowl combination I picked was not that great to me. The price is almost the same and could be cheaper if you don't add protein and don't get rice. Price was $14 something. I believe the guy said warm bowls you get chicken for free but it's almost the same as if you have greens as base then add chicken later. A salad spot in Midtown perfect for a quick spot. Even if it's during the lunch rush, the line moves quick. They have a vast menu and were able to accommodate substitutes pretty easy. I got the Tokyo supergreens with tofu with light dressing and a piece of bread. It was light and tasty and most of all, it was healthy. Thai Chicken salad is very good , nicely chopped , great dressing it has a little bit of a spicy kick to it , the Chicken in some way I wished it had more? some times doesn't seem like it has enough chicken since it it pretty chopped up but it does, only thing I don't enjoy in this salad is the celery I feel like it doesn't mix well. They don't seem to know the difference between a salad and a wrap. I had ordered a salad from them, but ended up receiving a wrap. How can you possibly confuse the two things? Another time, I wanted to try the keto wrap they have, the Hero wrap. This location is the first "Just Salad" in the city to accept Levelup and there was only 1 girl in the entire store who knew how to run the system. It took about a handful of attempts (stepped aside a few times for other customers behind me to pay first) but she ultimately was able to allow me to claim my offer. I used to love this place. My favorite has always been the buffalo chicken salad, but after years of patronage, a few weeks ago I found myself eating my salad (quite frankly shoving salad in my mouth given how busy I've been), and I discovered a huge FLY in my second bite. Of course I spit it out, and informed Just Salad, not expecting anything besides wanting them to ensure that there would NO flies in all future salads that they make. Also the storefront was extremely hot that day, which likely explains all the flies hovering. Today, was my second visit to this location, and it was a good experience. As you enter the line an employee greets you and asks which type of salad you prefer and name. They hand you a ticket and you choose your four essential toppings (carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc). Your third step are the guys who chop up and put your salad dressing. Lastly, you meet the cashier. The line moves relatively quickly here and employees are courteous and helpful. The only thing I saw that I didn't like was the manager, or at least I believe he was the manager.
