Love kūKri for a number of reasons but I recently tried the banana pudding and oh my gosh, it is absolutely delicious. I was actually going to get a banana pudding shake at stackers but they were out then I remembered kūKri has actual banana pudding. The portions a good amount to share with 2 people and it's super rich. It is around $8 but well worth it, especially split with a friend.

Holy smokes! How come no one told me about this place before now?!? Run, sprint to kukri if you love fried chicken. There's no denying this is the BEST fried chicken in the state. I will go down on this hill. Service workers were awesome! I drove my dad who just got dilated and couldn't read the menu on their tv, the guy took a picture to show him up close. 100% coming back asap

Having had real Nashville hot chicken, I can confidently say that this restaurant comes as close to it as it can get. This restaurant makes their hot chicken, fresh, and it is well seasoned and juicy. You will not leave unsatisfied. I also want to give a shout out to their incredible french fries. Even though they call them boring fries, they are everything but. I believe these must get double fried as these are some of the crispiest french fries you will ever have. Overall an incredibly satisfying experience.

Great chicken fingers...from not mild to insanely hot. Also, lotta lemonade for $5. I had the hot chicken sandwich. This level of hot is made with habanero sauce. If you want very hot, it is made with ghost pepper, and the insane got is made with Carolina reaper. And ..because I like to taste an enjoy my food, I did not go over board... this time. Bit was not really hot, but it had good flavor and the sandwich itself had plenty of bird, crunch, and flavor. The sandwich was balanced by the cole slaw and the pickled cucumber. All that goodness between a brioche bun Very good tasting sandwich. Instead of fried, I went with the slaw. My friend has the fries, which were made fresh. Great service. We beat the rush of a long line of folks who also got to enjoy this chicken place in the 505 Food Hall.

You know I like my chicken fried Cold beer on a Friday night A pair of jeans that fit just right And the radio on... We settled in at the Kukri for a High Noon lunch in the 505 Food Hall... The Lass ate "Chicken Tenders" meal w. nice juicy chicken just needed the sauce for flavor, the cole slaw a vinegar version w. a nice crunch. The GrandTyke had the "Mac N Cheese" which she enjoyed. The Lad had the "Kukri Sandwich" Meal w. Hot Sauce that was a spot on perfect juicy nice hot bite w. crunch slaw too. No line, yet wait time seemed long and their Steep Prices (like skiing down rough moguls) put us Seniors off. "$15 for Tenders and slaw, $15 for a Chicken Sandwich, are Big City prices. Our humble opinion, though tasty...More like a fair 10 Bob each is most worthy. It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most Not where you live, what you drive or the price tag on your clothes There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind this I've come to know So if you agree have a drink with me Raise your glasses for a toast To a little bit of chicken fried..:) Best, Avram Zakbrwn Jr.

These chicken sammies are tasty!! They come with a refreshing slaw and pickles, and all the flavors blend together really nicely. I got some of their fries on the side, and the breading is really crispy and flavorful. Service was efficient, and our food came out hot. It is pretty pricy though, so that's really the only downside. Otherwise kūkri is a great spot in the foodhall!

It's been awhile since we've been here. But it was as good as ever. They were busy so we waited about 20 minutes. The chicken served on our buns was moist, huge & thick. Although I've been told I have a big mouth, the sandwich wouldn't all fit for a bite. As expected our meal had great taste and was more than filling. The downside for us were the drinks. Everything sold was bottled & they didn't carry diet. Easy fix - we bought what we wanted at another kiosk.

Overall everything was great. I ordered and immediately after I saw the kitchen freshly battering chicken that's when I knew it was going to be good. I got the chicken sandwich which was amazing probably one for he best I've ever had. Will absolutely return and recommend.

O!!M!!G!! I cannot tell you how great these chicken sandwiches were!! We LOVED them!! They can get pretty busy and you may have to wait a few minutes for your food (Much like all if the eateries in this complex) but it is SO worth it!! The chicken was seasoned to perfection, pipping hot, and the sandwiches were just close your eyes and enjoy good!! The taste was just perfection!! And the sandwiches were HUGE!! The fries were great, fresh and hot as well. Do yourself a favor and GO HERE TO EAT!!

Is the kukri halal you cook with?

Hi. Kukri is 100% Halal. Owned by the same people that own Tikka Spice and Stackers Burgers. All of them are 100% Halal.

Looks inviting and easy to walk to, but what are their hours? I wouldn't want to walk through cold only to find their not open for lunch or on certain days. And note if they have a gentle sauce for long-time residence who prefer to taste entire meal.

They are open at 11 am everyday! Sun-Wed they close at 8 and Thur-Sat they close at 9. They also have some more gentle sauces so everyone can eat it. I got the medium (2nd tier of hotness) and it wasn't very spicy. They also have a mild which is… Read more

There's nothing to dislike about this multigenerational, family owned authentic Italian deli. My…read moregrandparents took me there when I was a small child in the early 80s. I've been going there ever since. A few years ago, they added a bakery. It is chock full of delicious cookies, eclairs, cannolis, and you can even get a wedding cake there. Most recently, I went with some coworkers for lunch and ordered the Bella Mozzarella sandwich. Beautiful, thick slices of fresh mozzarella, loaded with tomatoes and basil. The bread was super fresh, and the potato salad was very flavorful. My coworker got an eclair on our way out. I just had a bite and it was divine. The older gentleman behind the counter was courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the side wall is covered in shelves that contain imported pasta and various other products from Italy. There's a freezer case filled with premade meals and meat. If you haven't been there, it's definitely worth a stop

I've been going here for almost 40 years - not sure what it's going to take to get it through my…read morehead that Tully's just isn't to my taste. Over the years I keep going back, about once a year: I've had their sandwiches, their pastries, their pies . . . all kinda "meh" and all priced pretty reasonably but not inexpensively. Sandwiches give you a lot of everything . . . except flavor. Pastries are . . . fine. Pies are . . . fine, and kinda small (and not inexpensive, maybe reaching towards pricey); it's the kinda thing you are willing to pay for in order to bring it to a gathering, only to find almost no one bothers to eat it. And so you don't bother. The cookies are pretty good, actually. (And, yes, I know Italian delis - my Italian grandparents brought me to them in New York when I was a child. However, I'm not judging Tully's against these (as in "it's not as good as Back East"), I'm just saying it never really turns my crank.) Today I had a hot chicken, cheese, onion and pepper sandwich, the Carmela. It was a lot of food. But . . . not a lot of flavor. A whole lot of drippy mess in the bottom of my basket, though: water absolutely sopped through the (completely unmemorable tasting) bread loaf and pooled at the bottom of my basket as I ate in. The potato salad served alongside was fine - like what you'd get at Albertson's. The chicken was tender and . . . essentially without flavor, not even salt. There had clearly been a little marinade (I could sense some oregano and maybe garlic in there) but man could this thing have used about five times as much seasoning and then a healthy dose of a vinegar/garlic/oregano dressing on top of it. Bland. Lots of food in that $17 (almost $25 with tip) sandwich, but not a lot of enjoyment. I've had other Tully's sandwiches (both for here and to-go) that were better, but I can't really recall any of them . . . and I _never_ rush back. Like I said, this is a place I think about ("Hey, I'm right nearby; I should try Tully's again!") about once a year . . . and then, meh. To be fair - I believe that I am pretty out in left field on this take: Tully's is popular and always hopping. Get here early unless you want to stand in line. I only had to wait about three minutes to order, but by the time I left at noon this Friday there was a line to order all the way from the counter to the door. In terms of the room, it's a deli. Reasonably well set out with a decent amount of seating set out well, as well as some outside seating that you might want to try when it's not in the nineties. You order at the counter, pay, go get your own fountain drink (they also have some beer and wine, which they will serve you), find a seat and they'll bring it to you. When you're done, you bus it yourself. Pleasant staff - I don't regret tipping, although they don't do much. (As others have mentioned, if you get a cup of water, Tully's generously gives you a decent sized Solo cup - another plus.) It's fine. If you go, at least get yourself some cookies - they're pretty good.
