So happy about the new ownership of this restaurant. He's doing all the right things. The food is SO good...total comfort food, great selection of beers, and the Etch a Sketchs' for the kids....great touch! Our 4 yr. old loves to go here and we do too! My ONLY complaint is sometimes the bartender can be a bit weak sauce. He seems pretty distracted and flustered at times. But he is good when he's not overwhelmed. This place should get five stars just because of George! Oh George he's such a great guy! I'm only giving it 4 because for a pub it's not that cheap. Especially if you start coming for the $100 giveaways every Monday & Wednesday (ok so that's my own fault). Anyway, I think with this pub you have to pick your plate wisely. These are things I think are well worth your dollars: - Bottomless Mimosa Breakfasts. Come Saturday & Sunday 9am-1pm. The earlier you come the more bang for your buck. What compliments the mimosa best, nothing other than the delicious breakfast burrito. Order it the way you want it...heck yes! This is the 2nd best breakfast burrito I've ever had. - Guinness. If you like Guinness it's good off this tap. Come for Trivia Night and it might make it taste even better ;) - Spicy Potatoes. If you like spicy then you will like these potatoes. They're like hot wings but for vegetarians...the sauce is soo good and the fact that it's topped with crumbled blue cheese makes my mouth water just thinking of it. - Corned Beef Sandwich. I'm not usually a fan of corned beef, but the apple-onion relish makes this dish a real treat. Don't pass it up! So if you live in Belmont Shore and/or Naples and call yourself a local...I don't believe you until you've been to George's. Service is friendly and AMAZING. The vibe is so laid back and not like any other place I've been to. you can actually hold conversations with people sitting next to you without yelling! Was in town for a couple of nights for work and my co worker/friend and I love playing darts so we hit the YELP to find eats to go with out play dinner out. Found this quaint little pub where the food and atmosphere were great. An almost perfect place. The dart area was where the owner stored restauaraunt supplies. The owner, who is a wonderful attentive host, cleared most of it out so we could play. Will come back for sure next time I am in town. Cheers!!! read more

This place is a bit on the pricey side but the food is sooooo worth it. I recomend any kind of boxy, it is so good you eat the whole plate without blinking! The beer selection is also very nice, not so much into wine but they had a wide selection of that too. Sometimes they have specials but I am never interested in what they are offering. If I could give it more stars I would! I love this place. When it first opened it took a little time to find it's groove but now I am a HUGE fan! I love the little pub, down to earth atmosphere. Every time I'm here I usually end up chatting with another patron as most people who frequent here are very friendly. The food is typical Irish bar food but it is good and you can always count on George to swing by the table to say hello and see how everything is going. I've been coming here since we moved to the Shore two years ago. . . we really like the neighborhood feel, and I especially love that it's not too crowded (usually). I am not a big fan of Irish pubs or food, but this place has won me over, as I am usually able to find something on the menu that I can eat (I am a picky eater). The Cobb salad is delicious, and the kitchen will make you fish tacos if you ask them. Also, the breakfast burritos on the weekend mornings are delicious. Drinks are mainly beer and some wine, but they do make amazing bottomless mimosas (hard to mess that up!) and a fiery bloody mary with that potato-vodka stuff. All in all, a great place to spend an afternoon! The bartender and owner are kind and accommodating; they've given us many "beer" glasses and swag over the past few years. I finally eat were after a happy hour visit. The corned beef was sliced too thin for my taste. But the wings were good.

I took my parents here on a Friday for "Fresh Catch" night. My mom ordered the grilled whitefish, which is included in their specials but not advertised on their website. It was lightly crisped and golden, and covered in a lemon-caper sauce. It was delicious!! She also ordered a side of potato au gratin for $1 extra with the special - also amazing!! I got a petite portion of the fettucine stroganoff, which contained beef tips, bell peppers, and mushrooms. It was very good!! And I love that they offer petite portions!! It's also worth mentioning that this place now has a full bar, where they used to only have beer and wine. I think this is my new favorite place!! read more

So we just moved here, and within days, this became our favorite LB place. The food is amazing....,AMAZING!!! The sausage rolls are insane, and don't even get me started on how f'ing good the breakfast burritos are. The go to food is definitely the rolls, augratin potatoes, and the Irish faire. Came here with a group of 9 people for a late breakfast. The staff was very accommodating, and friendly enough to seat us all together. The staff was also able to get our food out in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone at the table loved their meal. Several of us got the breakfast burrito, which comes whatever you want in it! I must say I loved the breakfast potatoes that came with the burrito, they were crispy and included thinly sliced bell peppers... delicious! To end the meal the server split all of our checks up so we didn't have to worry about doing that with one giant check. Overall, very pleased! I recommend. read more

As if I needed another reason to kick myself about why I didn't end up moving to Long Beach! The first reason why I HAD to write a review on KC Branaghans is the service. Whoa...I don't think I've ever had a server as great as the girl who served us last night. I'm kicking myself that I didn't make note of her name, I'd have loved to give her a shout out because she was wonderful. Now I've been a fine dining server at a private club for the last six years and the level of service we got was on par with what you would have gotten there. Friendly, attentive and she went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. She even gave my boyfriend an extra piece of prime rib because she noticed the piece they cooked was on the small side (he didn't ask for it or make a comment about it being small)! We ended up ordering the Irish nachos and my boyfriend (who's a nacho connoisseur) and I agreed they were the best we've ever had. Corned beef and a jalapeno curry sauce on top, sounds weird but sooo good. He got the prime rib which was super tender and tasted great, I got the fish and chips which were good but I'm ordering something else next time. Jim and I went to Branaghans for the second time last night....Forgot to write a review the last time.....Since we are NOT regulars (but very good chance we become regulars !) we were able to challenge the comment that only regulars get good service----We had SUPERIOR service....Not one thing to complain about ! The waitress was patient, pleasant and attentive..... I had the Boxty w/ the vegetables !!! Yum !!!! Not only came w/ vegetables inside the 'pancake', but a large serving on the side as well....After I devoured the Boxty, I asked the waitress if I could have a little more sauce and a little more cheese for the veggies left behind....Very quickly my plate was replenished.....w/ above cheese and sauce..... Jim's fish and chips were not the best but better than average....He asked for the fries to be well done...They were perfect.....I lift up a pint to you Branaghans ! Wednesday night filet is the best and it doesn't hurt that we won $800. Every Mon and Wed they have a $100 drawing and if noone wins they add another $100 the next week. Now we are hooked and are there almost every Wednesday night. Pot is up to $400 next week. You must go and sign up on the list and then you will be eligible for the drawing the next week you are there. We won on our third visit.......not too shabby! read more

Pleas explain why bar staff think it is acceptable to over turn stools at 10:30 at night when closing is at midnight. Why not put a sign up saying please don't come in we want to go home. This place is a graveyard for a Friday night. This is the most friendly, welcoming atmosphere that rivals most Belmont Shore bars. KC Branagan's is called "George's" at our house because we hold the owner, George, in high regard! He is personable and funny and often stops by your table to help out and check on you. The food at KC Branagan's is first rate, regardless of how busy it is. There is a huge selection of Irish food, prime rib, fish and chips, burgers, sub sandwiches, seafood and pasta. Entrees come with potatoes and vegetables unless otherwise requested. It is often possible to take the other half of the entree home for another meal. Food specials are more prominent than drink specials, including half price appetizers on Mondays. Although very tasty, food is all cooked to order and can take a while. It is best to settle in with your drinks and wait for an awesome meal. read more

Never been to Branaghan's before last night. It's a typical Irish pub so I didn't expect much in regards to the food....I was expecting average pub/grub. It was above and beyond what I expected!!!! The potato and leek soup was fantastic and the mac and cheese was amazing. I am hyper critical about my mac and cheese and dare I say probably the best I ever had. I love this place. The food is great, the drinks are plentiful, this staff is friendly, and it's a very cozy little Irish pub. Be sure to come by on Thursday night, which is live entertainment night. Once a month they have comedy, but three nights they have magic. Strolling magician is really impressive, but the big show comes on the first Thursday, when they bring in guest performers, so there is strolling magic followed by a mini show.
