Double matcha and strawberry matcha latte with cream top
    Rebecca T.

Pretty good drinks! Stopped by and ordered a double matcha latte and strawberry matcha latte, both of which were tasty and had a decently-strong matcha flavor. Took a while to get my order, but otherwise Kaffee Bohnen is a solid place for a pick-me-up drink.

Stellar service. We got the bohnen cold brew and it was perfectly nutty and slightly sweetened. This is a great spot for studying. It's lowkey and quiet with strong coffee. There is plenty of seating and tables.

The start of the semester means homework and that means locking myself at a study cafe. Kaffee Bohnen is tucked away on Olympic across from Surawon, with a small garage and plenty of street parking. There's very good bus access from USC via 754/204 and a short walk after. The tables are huge, filled with outlets and it doesn't really get too crowded. The menu is largely einspanners but can be customized to be without cream. I got the black einspanner, which is basically an Americano with a cream top. It was the perfect creaminess without being heavy, and the coffee was fairly strong and leaned a little acidic, which was promptly washed away by the cream. My friend got the strawberry matcha sans einspanner, which didn't have added syrup but real strawberry. Their unsweetened drinks were well-balanced and I will definitely return!

Hey Kaffee, Nice to meet you. I'm sitting here right now. Good vibes. Plugs. WiFi. Shared communal seating only... but it isn't busy at all during the workday so works for me. Bohnen Latte. A little pricey, but taste good and I chalk it up to paying for a space to work so it's all good. Oh and I street parked but saw there is a little internal parking area too... I'll have to remember that. Anyhow you're close to where my parents live so I may come visit again if I need a space to work. Adios

I'm actually at a huge loss with this place in terms of the reviews and my review. We decided to try the closest coffee shop after lunch and walked here. It's a bit hidden, you walk past a bank onto a narrow pathway. The interior is nice and it's very quiet. But the barista was not attentive nor friendly. I understand he is the only one front of house (we were the only waiting customers) and his back was turned towards us but once he faced our direction he never said anything, not even a, "One moment I'll be with you." Super awkward. The drinks are overpriced for the quality and in general. Maybe I came on an off day but my drink was not good. The strawberry matcha einspanner was awful and bland. It lacked flavor. I planned on getting a drink to go for my boyfriend but decided against torturing him.

This drink is so amazing and the taste quality is crazy good. I will definitely be coming back here. Also the baristas are all super sweet! Thank you so much!!

A cute Ktown spot to work. I LOVE that it is a cafe that's actually quiet. Music was low so I can concentrate while I get work done. I had an Americano and a chocolate croissant. The barista was friendly. The best part is there is a tiny lot that is shared with the bank but if you go on the weekend you can basically park in any of the spots since the bank is closed. I only wish they offered more pastry options otherwise the place is perfect.

Hard to tell, but they add a cinnamon stick to their Spanish Latte.

Really modern coffee shop. Garage Parking is immensely limited. You'll have a better chance finding street parking. PRICES are a bit on the higher end that I can't justify for the coffee that they offer. You might think otherwise, but that's my take from my first visit. STAFF were aware of customers waiting to order and acknowledged that they will be with you shortly. Nothing really stood out as far as their customer service, really. Would I come back here? I don't see it happening anytime soon, especially with the amount t of other options for coffee shops in the area.

Great new coffee place on Olympic Blvd. and Catalina Street. The space is quaint and cozy with comfortable couches, lounge chairs, and tables. There is free Wi-Fi and a public restroom. The service is great the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. At the pick up counter are two cold brew drips that are on each side. They are not just decorations. The barista told me it takes 8-9 hours to get a liter of brew. Anyway, the menu is a bit pricey but we'll worth it. This for the pour over, espresso, drip, and specialty coffees. The pastries are good too. Enjoy!

I'll start off by saying what most people already know about this place; It's an amazing study space. The music is neither too loud or too quiet, it's the perfect volume if you want to listen to your own music with headphones, or prefer the cafe music. It's so nice inside, from air conditioning to a well-lit environment. There's plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor. The service was good :). I ordered a cappuccino, and let me tell you the coffee was amazing. The only issue I had was that the menu on the wall may be outdated. The price for a cappuccino says $5.00 on the wall, but I was charged $5.75 for the drink itself. If you're traveling by car, there is plenty of parking space as well!

While in LA this Az girl still needs her coffee Parking can get a little tricky but that appears to be an LA thing Emotionally prepare yourself to park on the street on in the parking garage Just know that this coffee is totally worth the parking drama Never have I ever had a Spanish Latte and now that I've had it I'm addicted This is one of the cutest coffee shops Reasonably priced There weren't any items that were overpriced The service was top notch and the barista was warm and friendly while explaining to me how delicious the Spanish Lattes are I didn't get to really sit and enjoy the spot as I was in a bit of a rush Lots of folks were there working and having family time If you're in the area check them out

Ambiance: the coffee shop is located on the ground floor of the apartment building and right next to the bank, which leads to a narrow walkway to the entrance, and it's quite spacious and stylish inside Service: super friendly and patient with questions Drink: standard menu for coffee and tea, with few specialties BOHNEN LATTE - **** syrup and hazelnut flavors, creamy taste, recommend Price: premium quality and affordable prices, about $6~$8 per drink

There are about four parking spaces, and street parking is not easy. The interior is pretty and comfortable to relax in. The coffee taste didn't suit my preference. When I visited, all the customers were getting coffee to go, but I don't understand why sales tax was charged on to-go coffee. Especially in Koreatown, many places seem to impose this unfair pricing.

So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

[Parking]: The coffee shop has a free designated parking lot which I actually appreciate since parking is not easy to come by in this part of the neighborhood. There is a section where the cafe has various albums hanging on the wall. [Menu]: Some of the highlighted items to order here are Mason Latte, Hojicha Latte, and Brisket Burrito. Kitchen items are served from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. *** Steak Breakfast Burrito (24-hour marinated steak, crispy tots, cheddar, pico de gallo, scrambled eggs, avocado, homemade aioli, served with housemade green aji or red salsa - $21.00): I was given a buzzer only to realize it was for the food order and not the drink. The green sauce was very vinegary with a slightly spicy kick. The burrito itself was not bad as it had all the right ingredients. It took about 10 minutes for the kitchen to prepare this order. Mason Latte (Double shot Espresso, whole milk, homemade brown butter caramel, sea salt - iced $7.75): This drink had to be mixed and shaken first. A solid latte and not too sweet. The flavor was a tad light, but not bad. *** While no food or drink in particular made this place stand out among all other amazing coffee shops in Los Angeles, this is still a solid all-around coffee shop in my book. A big thumbs up on good interior vibe and easy parking.

So we decided to come here for coffee or tea and ended up having a really nice time. I used to come here quite often about four years ago. Back then, I really liked their Einspänner and ordered it several times. But the last time I came, I thought it was way too sweet, so I hadn't been back since. It had actually been a REALLY long time since I last visited. And when I used to come here four years ago, I always came in the morning or around lunchtime. Last night was my first time ever coming here at night. My friend told us that they are open until midnight, so that's why we decided to come here after dinner. I had heard that parking here can be a nightmare because there aren't enough parking spaces and people have a hard time finding a spot. But once again, my parking luck was AMAZING! A car pulled out right in front of me just as I arrived, so I was able to park very easily. Another friend arrived later than I did, and she said she couldn't find a parking spot at all. She drove around for quite a while looking for one before finally finding street parking. Last night, we also had some tiramisu, and since I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, I decided to have a caffeine-free ade instead of coffee or tea. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it was ok. We sat outside on the outdoor patio and talked and talked and talked. We had such a fun time together! However, it was actually pretty cold outside last night. I remember thinking that it felt surprisingly chilly. But what was even crazier was how FREEZING cold it was inside the café! They had the air conditioning turned up so high that both my friends and I felt like we were going to freeze to death. The restroom is inside, and I also went inside to get some water, so I mentioned to one of the male employees that it was freezing inside. He told me that they didn't feel cold at all because they were working, and that THEY were actually feeling really hot. I went back to our table and told my friends what he had said, and they were like, "WHAT?! We're freezing to death over here!" The parking lot here is actually pretty large, so I was wondering why it was so difficult to find a parking spot. Apparently, at night, the left side is the café, while on the right side there is a bar where people can drink and also play games. There was a huge line of people waiting outside the bar last night, so I'm guessing that's probably why the parking lot gets so crowded and it's hard to find a spot. It was also pretty chilly outside last night because of the low temperature, so one thing I wished they had on the outdoor patio was heaters. That would have made sitting outside much more comfortable on a cold night.
