Yummy Filipino food here! The problem is there are too many delicious choices so if you're like me with indecision... don't worry the owners will help you. We settled on 2 dishes + rice for each of us. I got the adobo chicken + beef and potato. The hubs got adobo pork + mixed veggie dish with bitter melon/ string beans/ eggplant. You get a jumbo scoop of rice (YES!). Wow wow wow it's so delicious, you can drizzle the sauce on your rice... yummm. I also got the tiny ube steamed rice cakes. Perfect ending to a delicious lunch. We'll be back for the tocino, sisig, and the halo halo and super friendly service. This place rocks on many levels.

This was my first time having authentic filo food! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. He provided lots of good guidance and help with what to order. The shop had open seating options and many places to choose from.

It's been seven years since my last time at this Filipino restaurant, as well as I am extremely happy to say that everything I had was delicious and well-seasoned. It is truly pleasing when a restaurant steadily maintains its quality over many years even with a a change of ownership. I consumed the entire Beef Kare-Kare and the whole Kaldereta for this meal. Kaldereta was savory, tasty, and creamy, making it the ultimate comfort food. The Beef Kare-Kare possessed intense flavor where it could stand on its own, even without bagoong (shrimp paste) They don't have the usual bagoong for this dish due to the ban (eye roll), they only have alamang (another version of shrimp paste) to offer. Another thing that was a pleasant surprise was the larger range of Filipino desserts. Many customary favorites, like halo-halo and leche flan, and countless other sweet treats have been greatly improved. It is a fine way to conclude a large meal. Visiting again after all these years makes me completely glad. For anybody who haven't been back like me, this is your chance to visit them again. Make sure to check their Facebook page for for their daily menu and for what Filipino dessert they have available for the day.

Conrado is the new owner & operator of this Fine Filipino Dining spot, hidden in Plano! My wife & I dined in for an early dinner; Conrado operates the store; solo in the afternoon, dishes are prepped & precut in the morning. He has his 3 cute kids there, after school & they are very well behaved little ones, doing their homework. The service is awesome, Conrado took over the restaurant @ Dec of last year & has turned it in a productive & lucrative business. Overall, it's a hidden gem of old school Filipino authentic dishes that's made fresh & served hot! We had the sisig, dinuguan, beef soup & beef & vegetable mix. Real yummy & can't wait to come back! You're doing an AWESOME job Conrado! & you have a beautiful family! See you back soon pare

Friendly service, enough seating, eating areas and restrooms were clean. Food was very delicious and the portions were good for the price. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to and ordering from this place for years and always trusted them, but the recent ownership changes really show. I placed a big catering order for pick up weeks in advance for Christmas Eve pickup at 3 p.m. because I was throwing a 6 p.m. dinner party and I thought that was ample time. When I arrived, nothing was ready and there were lots of people just standing around waiting on their orders. No one could tell me when my orders would actually be done, which was incredibly stressful with a party clock ticking. I finally got my order right before 6, rushed home, and guests were already arriving as we walked in the door. When I left, there were still people waiting on their orders. The previous owners handled large orders so much better and I honestly miss them. The food might still be fine for a casual night, but I would not recommend this place for catering or any time sensitive big orders.

Im Filipino and this is a filipino restaurant ... went on a rainy saturday afternoon but this place does not dissappoint , their combo meals are pretty reasonAble price .. you can eat in or get your food to go. Im too lazy to cook and this place will definitely satisfy your filipino food cravings .. they are under new management .. i like the fact that they serve it in real plates versus styrofoam.. the place is very clean.. and the servers are very nice. My definitly go to place for my food cravings . By the way they have great desserts .. from kutsinta , puto and cassava .. i was too excited to eat it i forgot photos. I have to come back and try their ..silog menu

3.5* Nice owners - it is a hole in the wall in the Plano area. It is cafeteria style when you order, and the food options change, and are on a rotation, so there's not a set menu to choose from! You get your own water and bus your own tray when you are done. I had high hopes because of the reviews, and unfortunately, the food fell a bit short. Ordered the specials - 2 meat and 1 veggie and 1 meat and 2 veggie option specials from the menu. The meat was tasty, but felt super oily when I ate it, as there was a layer of oil for all the meats that were ordered. The mixed vegetables was my favorite, but the jackfruit vegetable option was my least favorite, and I would recommend not ordering it. The flavor was lacking for the jackfruit dish and the texture consistency was super off putting to eat. I would be willing to go back to try other items on the menu because the owners were really kind, but would probably order their drinks, so I did see a big family group come in and order drinks for everyone and leave.

Cute mom and pops place. Service is not fast but it is understandable. It's family working together to provide good filipino dishes. People love it and don't mind the slow service. They are very friendly and nice. Portion is generous. I can't seem to be able to finish my meal. Desserts on weekend are wonderful. They make different dishes daily depending on what ingredients mami found at the market. Lechon kawali and lumpia worth the wait. My husband tried it once when i ordered to go for him and my son, and he asked for that meal for his birthday. Definitely give them a shot, support the small neighborhood businesses.

My first time having Filipino food - I was a little bit lost because there is no clear labeling as to what everything is. One of the clients kindly helped us describe everything. The owners are nice but struggled with English. Overall, it was a great experience.

I love your food. Have you gone back to the filipino buffet? I miss this. Thank you!

No. The owner told me they won't go back to buffet style ever. Plus the prices went up again and there is no more combo option.

We ordered: Cumin Lamb (side: fried rice); Singapore Noodle Combination (chicken/shrimp/beef); Eggplant w/ Garlic Sauce (side: steamed rice); Okra w/ Giant Oyster Mushroom (side: steamed rice); and Xao Long Bao (6 pcs). WOW! The braised okra with giant oyster mushroom positively SURPRISED and leap frogged to the top of my preferred vegetable GOTOs...The cumin lamb was SO tender and VERY flavorful. One of the best preparations yet. The Singapore noodle combo and Xao Long Bao did not disappoint... More importantly, the service we received was attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. Sadly, the eggplant with garlic sauce is the ONLY reason a star is withheld for this review...it detracted from traditional Chinese style; notes of garlic eviscerated by the chef's sweetening to satisfy an American palette...Why fix something that's unbroken?...I get it. The restaurant has to cater to its customers who populate this mix use (business/lease residential) area at the NW corner of Alma and Hwy 121, but doesn't that limit its draw? Guess we'll just have to head either further south on Central (HWY 75) to the Legacy & Spring Creek areas or further west to the Preston and Warren Pkwy Frisco TX area to satisfy our authentic Chinese cuisine food cravings.

Lastly, the Cucumber Salad had a nice marinade, with a nice crunch on the cucumbers themselves. Their menu is relatively extensive, making for another visit a must. Service: No wait on a Saturday afternoon. There were only a few tables occupied in the main dining area, but we were seated in a relatively secluded section to the right of the restaurant. We were greeted right away and the restaurant is welcoming with an assortment of booths and some large round tables. The server was friendly and she provided great service throughout our meal. We started with the steamed dumplings which were honestly middle of the road and we the weakest part of our meal. The entrees were uniformly outstanding. We had the Beef Chow Fun which tasted great and was less oily than versions we have had elsewhere. We also had the combination crispy noodles which were well prepared with tender beef and some great shrimp. We capped it off with the General Tso which was delicious. Saw this place on Yelp and immediately thought, "There's no way this is good." The name doesn't…read moresound remotely Chinese. But the reviews were suspiciously glowing, so curiosity (and hunger) won. We pulled up and I took one look at the building: older, unremarkable, zero curb appeal. Classic "meh." Inside, several large round tables with lazy Susans, red tablecloths, and Chinese lanterns. They first sat us in a booth but I requested later on to be moved to a large round table since we ordered A LOT. But back to when we first sat in the booth - As a Chinese woman, the second I spotted the older seats with ripped upholstery, it hit me like a culinary prophecy: this place was going to serve me some incredible, authentic Chinese food. I don't know what it is, but there's an inverse law of Chinese restaurants: the less fancy the exterior (and the more the booth looks like it's survived several natural disasters), the better the food. Apparently they skip Instagram-worthy renovations and put the budget where it belongs--on the plate! This is now hands down in my top 3 favorite Chinese restaurant in North Dallas - I can even say it's on the very top. I haven't forgotten about the staff. They deserve 10 stars. Super nice!
