    Seafood Hot Pot Combo

Located in the Asia plaza, is this restaurant that's open till 2am, which is convenient for those wanting hot pot or meat skewers, later in the evening/early mornings. The meat skewers had a little tray like box with candles under it to keep it warm, which I found to be cool. The stars in the soup were a little overpowering, but the soup was still good overall.

Always a fun date night at Friendship BBQ. We lucked out and hit them at a nice slow time on Saturday night. There is a good variety of meats, veggies and drinks to choose from. My husband recommended the strawberry milk and it was delish! The meat and veggies have a little too much spice for me but my husband adds spice. So I think it's all about how seasoned or spicy you prefer. Staff always nice and attentive.

This place has nice service and ambiance. I really enjoyed their food, especially the spicy tripe and duck blood. Their lamb fried rice was also very fragrant and tasty. Their skewers were also very well marinated and yummy. I haven't tried a dish that I didn't like so far, and would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Chinese food.

It was delicious!!! I loved that the menu is on a bar code and you order everything on the site thru your phone. The interior is so cute with lots of instaworthy backgrounds. I highly recommend the skewer hot pot which had 30 skewers! The broth is perfect! Service was fast and so nice. I'm definitely coming back. Definitely check out their specialty drinks. My favorite was the dirty strawberry milk. I'm definitely coming back.

Friendship BBQ had their "Grand Opening" today!! Huge flower arrangements were lined up outside the main door, it made us stop, look and go in for dinner. This new Asian BBQ restaurant offers traditional BBQ skewers. We tried all the skewers for fun, lol, lamb, Wagyu, and squid. It was easy to eat, fresh and a great idea for a 'date night' type of thing! You can order skewers or big platters of food to share. If you're vegan, they have a huge selection of veggie items like tofu, mushrooms, thinly sliced potato, corn, eggplant, and whole chile peppers. Beyond the skewers, there are seafood boils, dan dan noodles, lamb ribs, fried chicken, etc. FIVE STARS for delicious food, exceptional service, and location.

BBQ and milk tea are amazing. I had a little bit of many things and I truly enjoyed them. They were very flavorful and nicely cooked/made. They served the initial round of our food very fast too (we came in around 3 PM on Friday). One thing that I have to complain about is that it was quite a hassle to order food. They didn't have a paper menu, so at first, they asked me to order food via my phone, then they later offered an iPad for me to continue ordering. It'd be much easier if I got to use the iPad first.

The best choice to relax with friends, the taste is good, the ingredients are fresh, the boss is very kind, they will open until late, and you can sing while eating

Lol this is what you get for 3 dollars a skewer. This has to be a joke. It's microscopic pieces of burnt meat.
    Ben S.

Youre paying for microscopic pieces of burnt meat at 3 dollars a skewer. You'll need to order about a hundred of these to get full

Food is awesome, staff is awesome and great place to hang out, eat, socialize and drink beer! Ordered a bunch of different skewers, seafood pot for two and veggies!

I wish they had a better system of notifying you that your order is done though. We were waiting for an almost embarrassingly long time before going up to check if our order was forgotten, just for it to be sitting on the counter unattended. We were some of the only people in the entire food court and sat nearby the restaurant, so we definitely would've heard them if they called our order number out. We dropped by on a weekend during lunch and browsed the menus of all the food stalls located inside and came across LJ Kitchen. After looking at the pictured menus and viewing the menu we decided to purchase some pan seared steamed pork and scallion buns along with a char su biscuit. Ordering was simple by placing an order on the kisok provided and typing in your phone number and name. The kiosk had pictures along with the food item and price. We found a table and sat down and within 10 minutes our food was ready. We started snapping pictures instantly before we dug in admiring this beautiful creation. The char su biscuit was hot and flaky releasing steam into the air. The char su was tender and flavorful with hints of 5 spice seasoning of cinnamon, star anise, cloves, fennel, and peppercorns bursting into your mouth when sinking your teeth into it. the pan seared buns were the star of the show with the top side being seared and the bottom part steamed filled with moist pork and scallion meatball inside. The dipping sauce was a soy base with vinegar and paired perfectly with the dish. Altogether we enjoyed coming here eating the delicious food and are excited for our next visit!

We came by on a weekend during the lunch rush and looked at the menu pictures with prices and name and decided to go with the braised pork belly noodles. As for the noodles we went with the thin noodles over the wide noodles. We simply placed our order on the kiosk and were given a buzzer that beeps and lights up when the food is ready. Inside the food hall there are about 7 restaurants that offer a variety of Korean, Chinese, Malaysian and sushi along with boba tea. Inside was a bit dim with tables and chairs to sit at. Soon our food was ready, and we couldn't wait to dive in since the dish was looking prestige! The dish came with a hefty serving of freshly pulled noodles and a hot broth with simmered slabs of pork belly beautifully garnished on top along with blanched baby Bok choy cabbage. The broth was light and amazing packing a punch of flavor from the braised pork belly that was simmered in a variety of 5 spice seasonings. I could definitely smell the aroma of cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and fennel and it helped with my allergies and sinuses. The pork belly melted in my mouth while the noodles were cooked perfectly al dente and a bit chewy. Altogether we enjoyed this noodle dish, and we would come back in a heartbeat again to try more dishes and of course reorder the braised pork belly maybe with wide noodles next time since it tasted amazing!

Let me start with the most important thing I can tell you. If you have never eaten at Vaqueros, you are missing out. Vaqueros and Hutchins are the two best BBQ joints in Collin County. But Vaqueros has a twist. Their barbecue is competition grade, and they also happen to run one of the Top 50 taco spots in the entire state. Do not take my word for it. Ask Texas Monthly. Want to know why the tacos are that good? It is the brisket. Trey uses every last ounce of it. The trimmings end up in the sausage, the burgers, the tacos, and the consomé de res. They go into the tallow too, and if you ever order the fries, you will understand. You will want more. His suadero tacos are something special, and that is just the beginning of the menu. Speaking of burgers, do not skip his. It is outstanding, and it is made with, if you guessed brisket, you would be right. So here is my advice. If you are thinking about wandering next door to Village Burger Bar, stop. Get a burger from Trey instead. His beef is ground fresh daily, and the pickles and the mustard are made in house. It is in a different league. Now the class itself. What Trey taught me about trimming a brisket, treating it like a steak, seasoning it, and wrapping it, those are lessons any wannabe pitmaster will cherish for life. And here is the part nobody warns you about. Trey is a phenomenal storyteller. He knows everyone in the Texas barbecue world, and his stories alone are worth the price of admission. Let us talk about the food. Do you love barbecue? Vaqueros has it. Brisket, ribs, turkey, and two kinds of sausage, and every one of them is excellent. The smoked pork carnitas are pure heaven. Looking for something a little different? Get the brisket nachos. They come loaded with chopped brisket, queso, beans, pico, and all the fixings. Fifteen dollars. You can feed a family of four with one order. They have beer, margaritas, and a bourbon lemonade that is genuinely fantastic. I will say it one more time. You are missing out if you have not been. Tell him Brian sent you.

Thankfully, there was plenty of shade from umbrellas, and it was a great spot for people-watching with lots of foot traffic passing by. Now for the important part--the BBQ. My son and I split the two-meat plate with brisket, pork ribs, mac and cheese, and beans. The brisket was legit--moist, flavorful, and with a nice bark, although I would have liked it a little crispier. The pork ribs were just okay; they were a bit on the dry side. That said, their BBQ sauce was excellent. I'm usually not one to sauce good ribs, but in this case it definitely elevated them. The mac and cheese was probably the biggest surprise. It was rich and gooey, topped with feta, chives, and shredded cheddar. Not a combination I would have expected--or ordered--but somehow it really worked. The only real disappointment was the beans. They arrived cold and were a bit bland, especially by Texas BBQ standards. Overall, it was a solid 4-star experience. The brisket alone is worth trying, and I'd definitely come back to work my way through more of the menu.
