Very good location & spacious. My husband & I stumbled upon this cafe after a day at the beach. I was very happy to sit inside this cafe. Their black coffee is very good - nutty & fruity. They also have a wide coffee drinks selection, as well as food.

Had a late Sunday breakfast. Ordered the burrito with salad, Bubble Waffle and a side of bacon. Good portion to share. We enjoyed all. They were friendly and helpful. They were closing in 30 minutes and was nice about letting us know since we were going to sit down to eat. Ambiance was quiet. The place was clean and have cute merchandise for purchase as well as coffee bags to take home. Other customers came to purchase cold drinks. Would recommend if in the area.

I spent $30 on breakfast and coffee here and when a bite of bagel went down slow as I tried to swallow, I asked for a cup of water. The cashier says, "I can't give you water. we have bottled water for purchase." When i looked visibly shocked she told me she could sell me a cup of tap water for 79 cents. "For the cost of the cup" .... she said. This level of greed, this lack of community care, is uncommon on the island. Spend your money elsewhere. Gross.

While waiting for my friend tog eat her nails done next door stopped by for Kalia's blueberry lilikoi (passion fruit) lemonade and it is so fresh and delicious. They have testers to taste their "butters" for lilokoi, ube, etc and I almost impulse bought them all. Truth be told there's a good chance I'll come back because everything tastes so good

Wanted to let you guys know that if you order online a vegetable bagel don't expect cucumbers as advertised. Not sure what the menu looks inside because I thought it was the same menu. But when I picked up my order and went to work, I was disappointed that they, what I thought, forgot the cucumbers. Of course I checked the online menu, making sure I wasn't making things up, it says cucumbers as one of the ingredients. With that I called to let them know they forgot to put it on. The girl said they don't put cucumbers on their veggie bagels... I mentioned the website specifically and she did apologize and said she would let the manager/owner know about the site. So I paid $16 with tip for a bagel. Does come with a lot of chips ... so if you like more veggies bring your own‍ Oh haven't taken a bite yet, I'm sure it taste wonderful. Ok took a bite, yup taste like a bagel, don't know if they toasted it. Wasn't an option online. Would be better if the bagel was crispier. Enjoy!

We were looking for a quick breakfast and found this cafe close to us in Kihei. The person taking our order was friendly, patient, and helpful. You order at the counter then pick it up at the when it's ready. This location is a cute spot and not very big. Yet, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The food was good. We ordered the Bubble waffles which resembled a mochi waffle. We also ordered the a bagel. The bagel would have been better with smoked salmon. We also tried the beef empanada. The crust was flakey and the meet filling was tasty, not spicy.

We visited Kali Café in Kihei. The location is nice, the staff is really friendly, and they open early, which is convenient. The coffee was just okay. We tried the bubble waffles, but they were just okay too, probably not something we'd order again. I also tried the Acai and coconut parfait, which was good. We ordered the bacon egg cheddar sandwich and the bacon egg cheddar bagel sandwich, both were good. We also asked for a croissant with cream cheese, but they forgot the cream cheese, and we didn't go back to fix it. Overall, it's a nice spot.

Pretty basic and not a lot of lox. Very disappointing for the price!! $18.42 with tax....Will not order again.

Last time I was here I remember it being another name. Now it's under a new ownership "Kalia Cafe." I was with my cousin and we decided to try it out. The guy at the register was very welcoming and kind. My cousin and I decided to get some food and drinks. We chose the Matcha Latte and an Americana. Both were good choices. We decided to share the White Rock bagel , egg & cheddar and added bacon ( on everything bagel) It was delicious, but for me it would have been a notch up if the cheese was melted. Overall visit was nice. Would definitely come back and try other menu items!!

Coffee is hot and tasty! Need I say more? haha We just wanted a quick, easy breakfast and this hit the spot! In a small strip mall (with 2 floors) ... Dolphin Plaza .... it's a tad hidden because there are other shops all around. Look for the huge line at Maui Bread Company... Kalia is 2 doors down from there. We cruised in around 7:45am on Friday morning and were quickly greeted and our orders taken. Didn't take long to get our food. It was hot ... so hot that I had to open up my sandwich to let it "breathe" a bit before biting into it again. I mean... what is a little burnt mouth to start the day? ha! Gives a different spin on 'broke da mouth'. They didn't skimp on eggs nor sausage in my breakfast sandwich. In fact, I gave some of my sausage to the husband to finish. His breakfast burrito came with a green salad. I like when places give you salad as a side to start the day... I mean... we should all start the day with greens (but I rarely ever do.) I took the banana bread to go for later... I forgot it was in my bag, and ended up eating it 2 days later and it was still tasty! Lots of banana flavor!

Found this place after an early morning swim at the beach. Super casual. Pancakes and bubble waffles were great :). Try the cold nitro brew!! It's an order at the counter type place. Fast and easy.

Super disappointed in this cafe.... I walked in and asked about internet, which I was told YES. I go on and order, even tip 20%. Then I proceed to sit down and see no plugs, besides one with a sign that says "no outlet access" I ordered lunch, so I could work off my laptop for an hour or so. And now I'm sitting here not working and eating lunch. Which means I need to find another cafe that offers both internet and outlets and repay for food and drinks. This is 2018 and your cafe isn't busy, you can take the covers off your outlets now.... Needless to say, I am in Maui for 3 weeks working on a an article for tourism and won't be coming back here ever. Another NEGATIVE and DISAPPOINTING aspect of this cafe is that they DO NOT RECYCLE and they use plastic straws. read more

Best iced coconut latte! In the past, I've been disappointed by coconut lattes when they turn out too sweet and watered down. In this case, you get a nice balance of coffee and coconut in your drink - best of both worlds! For those who don't love coconut, they have a nice variety of syrups that you should check out! I haven't tried their food but that's a must or next time. The service was great and the barista was very helpful and friendly! read more

I'm from back east and have lived on Maui for years... sometimes I just want a fresh Bagel!! I love this Place!!!!! Hands down "da BEST" freshest Bagels on Maui, served with Aloha my faves is their Sweet Onion Bagel "Little Beach" (with eggs, chedder cheese and Bacon)!! Prices are affordable...$5-6 bucks for a loaded bagel (this is Maui so cheap!!) Outstanding Breakfast so happy to have found this place!!!! read more

I needed coffee. First I went into the store and saw the decorations, which are a bit too yellow, and then I went to the counter, at which point the server inquired what I wanted and I responded by saying that I would like coffee and so she gave me an empty cup and I was able to walk over to the area where there were a few different types of coffee and I sampled each one and then I filled my cup and then.... .. Ahhh sweet coffee. Nothing too special other than that. Can't speak for the food. It served my needs perfectly and I received a much needed caffeine boost. read more

The food is great here. I was worried that when new owners took over recently, things would change. But happily, everything has remained the same so far. And on a positive note, it seems like the new owners actually make pets stay outside. They are still fido-friendly and even give bowls of water, but outside. And on a cleanliness front, the owner actually washed her hands after refilling a dog bowl. It's the little things. read more

The sandwiches were simply delicious!!! Cute little cafe with an informative cashier who took her time explaining the several specialties of the house. Nice service and atmosphere. Sandwiches olowalu: Turkey bacon was yummy and jaws: a huge sandwich with all the meats were impressive. The sandwiches came with a simple salad with light dressing which was perfect. My boyfriend and I both loved this cafe. Their food is genuinely delicious and the coffee was the best we had on the whole island. Their service is also great; you pay at the cashier and they bring the food and drinks out to you. I highly recommend the paninis. I had the tuna melt and it was one of the tastiest ones I've ever had. The cost is also reasonable compared to the rest of the island. I can't recommend this place enough, it's really worth a try. You'll definitely come back. read more

I like this place. It's cute and cozy. The cup sleeves have art on them instead of the boring brown. And they recycle their sleeves! Which I absolutely love. However, let me give a WARNING to any east coaster. If you're looking for a bagel, this is not the place. It's really just flavored toast in the shape of a bagel. NOT to say, though, that anything was bad. I had the pineapple 'bagel' with cinnamon honey butter and a chocolate macadamia nut coffee. Both were so yummy. Coffee was great! And the cinnamon honey butter is amazing! Just keep in mind that if you come here, you're coming for a 'toast' breakfast or sandwich, not a bagel. read more

Bagels very very good... Service on our first and ONLY visit, horrible... We ordered food+coffee to go. It was apparent right away that the staff behind the counter was having a bad day. We waited 28 minutes for our order and I only got it from them because I walked behind the counter and asked for it. I learned My order had been sitting on the floor for the last 15 minutes and none of the staff notified the cashier nor me that it was ready. Observation- they refused to communicate with one another, causing poor efficiency and a bad experience. Hopefully it was isolated to this morning. read more

This was our cafe when in Maui. Super friendly service and excellent shave ice. In fact, it was the best I've found thus far! The outdoor seating area is quiet and pleasant. Can get a bit windy once the afternoon breezes pick up though. Have yet to try the food, we usually just came here for coffee, which is good, and the shave ice. They also have board games! I can get addicted to Connect Four, so I'm glad they had that. The Internet costs $3 for 15 mins. That seems to be the going rate in Kihei. They close a bit early on Sundays (at 3:00) and on other days it is at 5:00. So plan your cafe outings accordingly! We got let down a couple of times, being so used to Starbuck hours! read more

I love how I can come in here during every visit and it's like we never left. Great breakfast bagels and a kind staff. I really enjoy their Facebook snark, too. Actually, look around inside. They love the snark here, and it makes us feel at home. During this trip we tried their frozen blended mochas for the first time. The raspberry and white chocolate are to die for. We kept coming back for them. Over the period of a week we filled a punch card and a half. Don't change a thing, "Frenchie". We love ya! read more

Was pleasantly surprised by this unassuming little shop in the very cluttered Dolphin Plaza. Inside were lots of kitschy knick- knacks and naughty cards. It isn't the most homey suite since its in a strip mall, but the decor is an attempt to make it seem more like a cafe then say a Dunkin Donuts store. Hubby and I weren't expecting much by way of flavor--but the iced mocha we got proved otherwise. The flavor of the coffee shines through, so it's not just a syrupy sweet drink. If you want that processed taste, you can get it at any fast food joint for cheaper. I found the mocha to be better than Starbucks ( not a fan of overly strong/bitter coffee). Give @Le Plage a try! read more

Love this cafe. Best bagel sandwiches on the south Side. I try to eat something different than the Kalama sandwich, but it's too good. The espresso drinks are rich and dark. Friendly warm staff. Very dog friendly too. In short, this a great local to have for my mornings. read more

This place is wonderful seriously I stop in every time I'm in maui! (1-2 times a month) They open nice and early For those of us that want to get out on the water while it's still calm. They have GREAT coffee and breakfast items. Cute and comfortable seating inside and out ! Also and very important the customer service is superb! Every time I stop in I am greeted with a warm welcome and honestly today I was a bit difficult with my order and it didn't seem to bother the folks working there at all. Came here twice while we were in Hawaii... because they literally have the best breakfast bagel! Get the Sweet Onion Bagel or you'll regret it. In addition to best iced latte in town, the coffee shop itself is so unique! The owner seems to be obsessed with Mona Lisa (in a good way!!) and definitely has the best sense of humor :) Great coffee, delicious food, and hilarious jokes... the perfect way to start a day in Maui ^_^ read more

This cafe was such a good find! So close to the beach and many hotels nearby. Perfect for walking in the morning to get coffee while you feel the beach breeze. The service was amazing. Every time I went in, they were super sweet and attentive. There was plenty of seating both inside and out and they had many options for both food and coffee flavor shots. I thoroughly enjoyed talking the staff and loved going back each time. They would bring out my drinks to me while I sat and relaxed which was such a sweet touch! A huge plus for me was that in their large variety of flavors they have gingerbread year round which was such a fun treat! I got an iced gingerbread latte which truly tasted like Christmas in July! The overall vibe of this cafe was very chill and relaxed which is perfect for a cafe near the beach! Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back! read more

Had a breakfast bagel with egg ham cheddar in a "Maui Sweet onion". The bagel it self was really good, but nothing special the rest of it. Very basic. The fresh pressed orange juice was very small for its price. But tasted good. read more

We visited this nice little bakery/restaurant quite a few times while in Maui. We especially enjoyed their bagel sandwiches made on homemade bagels. The prices are very low for the area which was a plus. The young couple that seems to always be working (owners maybe?) Are lovely and super helpful. A must hit while in Maui. A quick yummy sandwich on the way to the beach! Don't forget to order an iced coffee. Very good!thanks for the wonderful service read more

Great hidden gem for breakfast. It's in Dolphin plaza so parking sucks but in the AM it's not that bad....if you drive a beater you are fine but if your car is half decent park near the street. They have about 5 coffee's to choose from. You can eat inside or out.....I prefer out as it's quieter. The breakfast bagels are great.....I forget the one I get.....it's like egg, ham and cheese...always killer. The staff is on it.....one of them is this really attractive gal that never smiles......so I always have to laugh....I'm always amazed when people that look that good as miserable. Anyway, it's a great choice for good breakfast eats as we all know that there's only a few places to go for breakfast here and these guys do a great job. Aloha read more

This particular location is a truck in the food truck area of Kihei Marketplace and has both a walk up window and a drive thru. On the morning I was there, two people were working, one on each side. After looking over the menu I decided on a Haleakalatte and chose to get it hot. The menu described it as a deep rich caramel latte. As I watched the barista make my drink, I noticed it was going into a plastic cup, which meant iced. It ended up coming out as a large iced coffee. Since it wasn't a big deal, I took it and went on my way. The coffee itself ended up being pretty good. The caramel flavor was on the lighter side, adding some sweetness without overpowering the coffee. The coffee itself was rich and came through nicely. I also liked that they used coffee ice cubes, which helped prevent the drink from getting watered down as the ice melted. If anything, it added a slight bitterness, which I didn't mind. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While I would have preferred the hot latte I ordered, the iced version worked out just fine and was still enjoyable.

But I dither, Nick's Fishmarket Maui is in an incredible location inside the Fairmont Kea Lani and it's setting alone would be enough to pull me back even if the food was just okay. Thankfully the food is MUCH better than "just okay", it is generally outstanding. I rotate starters and salads because there are so many great choices. The Caesar Salad is about as good as they get, but I really, really like the Maui Greek Salad. With at least four people we start with the Seafood Tower, but find it just too big for two of us. Other than that the Kalua Pig Pot Stickers, Charred Octopus, Crab Cakes and Blackened Ahi are the starters I rotate through. For my Main, I am less eclectic. I have a hard time getting away from the Diver Scallops and Scampi. I have tried other dishes, the Abalone, Kona Lobster and Ribeye (I know, I know, who orders steak in a seafood restaurant), but I keep coming back to. For Dessert, I am also in a rut, but I love desserts they set on fire and in this case it is Bananas Foster. I do sneak bites off my DW's Creme Brulee, as does off my BF. The service is terrific, attentive without being intrusive. I used to joke about the Chicago store that if you knocked a spoon off the table someone would catch it before it hit the floor. The Maui service isn't quite that attentive and I am not sure I would want it to be.

It isn't much to look at but it sure is a pleasure to our taste buds. The bagels are fresh, chewy, moist and perfect. There are plenty of specials with eggs, cheese, other goodies but let's not forget about lunch! The Panini Grill is hot and fired up ready to toast up a sandwich of your choice on fresh sour dough with a side of greens topped with a homemade salad dressing. Wifi available so bring your laptop...left it in your room? They have a couple computers to borrow. So enjoy smooth cappuccino, cold fresh fruit real smoothies and more. We've lived a few blocks South for years and just recently stopped by this comfortable, cozy, and cute cafe! We gave it a try following a recommendation from our daughter and were delighted with the atmosphere, the service, and the delicious and fresh food. The bonus has to be the friendly and accommodating owners who made us feel like they were welcoming us back even though it was our first time there! I've gone back several more times with my friend and sister as well. Christoper is so awesome! He went out of his way to make sure that our food was delicious and that we were MORE than 100% satisfied. Great management/ownership. Also, great staff; Karina is very friendly and nice. Much appreciated. Mahalo nui loa! Wowza! This place was remodeled not too long ago and everything changed for the better! Their pancakes and bubble waffles look great, but I had their chicken shawarma (they call it a pita sandwich) and it was loaded with flavor. The blueberry Lilikoi lemonade was unique as well. The food came out fast and the staff was super friendly, making sure I was well attended for. I was here a couple times before the remodel, and boy does this place look much better. Visited this little gem today! So fresh, so good! We had an angel demon on Maui onion bagel, Paia on cheese bagel and a little beach with bacon on Everything bagel and an iced coconut mocha. Everything was absolutely delicious and we had enough for breakfast on the way to our Kings Trail hike and some leftover to eat when we were done. It was perfect! And the prices were very reasonable. We will be back again again and again and again......Check them out!!! read more

This morning I woke up wanting to go out to have breakfast with my daughter, it was a new place, the burrito sounded really good. the surprise that came to me when they brought it to the table was... it was like the size of a taco.
