Small little place but still comfortable. Very nice service. Bbq pork was very good but a little cold. Lumpia was great. I never finish all my rice at other places and tonight was an exception because the garlic rice was truly delicious!! Will go back !

My friend wanted to try out this raved-about Filipino spot, so we planned it well in advance. We reserved this restaurant for two for Saturday lunch and came on time but the store gave our seats away. Luckily we only had to wait 15 minutes until a section was cleared for us. The dining area itself was a tight squeeze and a bit intimate. Be prepared to share tables if you're not comfortable with that. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the menu is scanned via QR. - Ube Sliders: 4/5, nothing to write home about.. pretty flavorful and standard.. couldn't really taste the ube - Pork Sisig: 5/5, some of the best Sisig I have had. Super crunchy and flavorful.. all it was missing was a sizzling egg and I can forgive and make do without the mayo on top :) - Garlic Rice: 4/5, standard garlic rice which paired well with the sisig Great find - there is another Kalye not too far from this store so don't be discouraged if you can't get a seat immediately! ty for reading :0)

Quaint little spot in LES, easy to get res on weekday Happy hour is until 7! We unfortunately missed it but got the lumpia (wish it was a bit more crispy, but they are huggeee), the lechon (yummy but a bit fatty and oily but so cooked really well and great sauce), garlic rice added to the lechon, and the halo halo that had good ube ice cream Would say it was good but not items I would order again but would give this place another try Quick service and good music

I recently went here, i want to give it 3.5 but can't. Ube slider- very good, not much in terms of ube flavor, but the thing as a whole had really good flavor. From the meat to the sauce. Very good. Coconut shrimp- No coconut flavor at all, tasted like shrimp scampi, super oily. Not a fan. Beef tapa- Not bad, not good but not awful. The beef was tender, but the sauce was just weird and not in a good way. An almost citrusy oyster sauce. Not a fan. Halo halo- good ube flavor, tasty. Ube bun- has real ube in the middle, with the coconut it is very good. Overall: If you go, get the ube slider or the deserts, the main dishes aren't all that. I probably won't be back, just wasn't particularly impressed with the main meals.

I'm not sure if we ordered the wrong things but I was sadly quite disappointed with the food at Kalye. We ordered the ube sliders, lechon, pork adobo, and a side of inasal rice. The ube sliders and inasal rice were solid, but I was disappointed with the pork adobo and the lechon. The pork adobo came with white rice, but the rice was either undercooked or old rice that wasn't reheated properly because there were many hard bits of rice that tasted as if it was undercooked. I ended up forgoing the rice, but sadly, without the rice, the pork was too salty. The lechon came with this a fried strip of what looked like pork rind. I tried to take a bite of the pork rind and seriously feared for my teeth because it was as hard as a rock, which made it almost impossible to eat. I also found that the pork of the lechon was fattier than I liked and I wished there was more crispy pork skin. The service was very friendly, the place is cutely decorated, and it was really easy to get seated, but I don't think I will be back.

Making a reservation here is a bliss. Glad that we did. This spot is very popular in the area. Funny that when we dined here today , me and bff ordered the same thing from the menu. Loved their pork sisig. It sizzles when delivered and tastes superb. The rice on the side with lemon as added bonus matched perfectly with our sisig. Ensaladang talong did not disappoint too. There are plenty of options to choose from the menu. Each kind is unique on its own way. We were satisfied with what we had. Our Ube pao dessert is heavenly, if not that we have plan afterwards, ordering a take out would be nice. The place is so adorable, a perfect spot for a meet- up or a date. I recommend the place.

came back a second time and decided to order their entree items, which unfortunately, was rather disappointing. their sisig was way too fatty for my liking and lacked the salty flavor I am used to. the pork adobo lacked the vinegar taste, and the meat was slightly dry in general. skewers are decent but pricy asl. workers are so kind and happy to help. restaurant is tiny but works well for small parties. consensus is that there are places in queens that better encapsulate filipino dishes.

As a pinay, I was excited to try Kalye! Solid lil Filipino restaurant with a few things I didn't care for... I made ressies for 6 people a month in advance for a Saturday night since I would be visiting NY and knew this place was popular. As well as tiny. So I recommend making a res since this place only has 5 tables inside but there are some tables outside too. We were greeted when we walked in and I was surprised to see only one waitress working on this busy Saturday night. Place is cute. Every table was occupied except ours that was ready for us. The menu is pretty meat heavy. I'm not a vegetarian but not a good place to take a vegetarian, which unfortunately was one of my friends as she only had an appie and side to choose from. No entrees... Esaladong talong- If you like tangy and vinegar-y food you'll like this. I prefer my eggplant savory but this was good. We ate it with a small plate of the inasal rice. The flavor was good just wish there was more of a garlic flavor but the rice tasted like day old.... Pork belly kare kare - the sauce is delicious. Don't forget to ask for the bagoong. We Filipinos know kare kare is supposed to be with oxtail not pork belly so a lil disappointed with that. But a couple of the pork belly pieces were tough and too hard to bite into. Meh. Oh and not a fan of paying $4 for a small plate of white rice! The $32 kare kare does not come with rice and ya'll know you need to eat this dish with rice. Overall I didn't think this dish was worth the price but as my local friends said, that's NY prices for ya... My vegetarian friend asked for the veggie lumpia. The waitress apologized and said they aren't making those anymore. She explained they are moving to a new bigger location soon so they stopped making a few items on the menu. So my friend asked for the mushroom sisig. Then the waitress comes back and says they are out of it. But they do have some vegetarian lumpia my friend can have instead. So odd but my friend said the lumpia was good...went to get pizza somewhere after bc she was still hungry. Lols

This place has been on my bookmarked Filipino spots and it bangs. The spot is quite cozy so would recommend making reservations. Let's start off with the longganisa sliders: WOW. It was juicy and delicious, I was hesitant this would not be good but it exceeded my expectations. Would come back just for these. Ordered the pork adobo ribs and it's HUGE, it's served with potatoes and overall delicious - I would have liked more sabaw to drench with my rice. My friend got the sisig plate, which was pretty spicy! Overall, great experience and delicious authentic Filipino food.

My friends and I came here for dinner last month. We got the Ube Sliders and Club 95. It's a pretty cool experience and the serving is MASSIVE. Overall, the food was great - flavors were yummy and a well balanced meal. My biggest complaint is honestly how tight/cramped the seating is. You're also on high stools which is not the ideal way I'd like to have a feast.

Stopped by Kalye, a Filipino spot in the Lower East Side, because I really wanted to try their Club 85, but you need a party of three or more, and I was just with one other person. Oh well, maybe next time! The staff were super nice though--really friendly and attentive. The vibe is chill and relaxed, perfect for a low-key hangout. We ended up ordering the pork barbecue skewers, mango salad, and crispy lumpia (spring rolls). I was excited for the mango salad, but it was a huge letdown. The mango wasn't ripe, so it didn't have any flavor. The tomatoes and cucumbers didn't have much seasoning either. There was some black pepper on top, but it didn't help much--it was pretty bland overall. The crispy lumpia looked cool, stacked up like little building blocks, and came with fish sauce. But when I tried the lumpia with the fish sauce, it was way too salty. When I ate it on its own, it didn't have much flavor, but dipping it in sweet chili sauce made a huge difference. With the sweet chili sauce, it was perfect! The pork barbecue skewers were good, though. They came with rice and four pretty big skewers. Some of the meat was a little burnt, so I had to pick off those bits, and the first piece I had was fat, which was tough to chew. But after that, the rest was all meat, and it was delicious! The barbecue sauce was on point--I just wish the meat wasn't overcooked in spots. I'd definitely come back when I have a bigger group so I can finally try that Club 85!

Was looking for a new neighborhood spot for brunch and came across Kalye. I'm giving it a 3 but I'll say it's closer to 3.5. The service started out good but ended pretty poorly. The restaurant is relativity small and had 4 staff members. 2 of which were cooks. Somehow during the meal, they lost one person. Let's talk about the food. The ribs were huge and unfortunately cold. They weren't raw but not reheated thoroughly through. The lumpia was good and so was the ube ice cream (not pictured). We'll probably come back again but skip the ribs. And hopefully they'll be better staffed next time because trying to get their attention at the end was very difficult. read more

Wanted to love this place but it left me disappointed. Two of the things I wanted were out. I realize they were closed the next day but to be out TWO things just didn't sit well with me. Ended up getting the Inasal Wings and the Inasal Rice. I was skeptical when I saw it was only 6 wings but it's 6 whole wings cut up (minus the flap, of course) so that was a happy surprise! The flavor was all there. VERY good BUT I think they could've been cooked a little longer. I like my chicken to fall off the bone. The Inasal Rice was delicious but I half expected a more garlicky flavor. Service was great! Our server was super friendly and kind. I loved his spirit. The place is tiny so we were lucky to be able to get a table albeit a high top. Considering it's NYC, the prices were decent. read more

Had this place on my radar for a bit, and finally got to try it! The restaurant is quite small and seems less smoothly run than larger spots, but the service is friendly and helpful. Pork Kare-Kare -- my favorite dish of the night! The peanut sauce is sweet and so flavorful, the pork is super tender, and the crispy skin adds an amazing texture. Highly recommend this dish. Ube Loganissa Sliders -- We actually ordered the ube beef sliders, but seems like ours got swapped with the table next to us. This dish is actually what made me wanna come here, but frankly I was a bit disappointed, as our sliders were cold. My friends and I decided to stop by this place for lunch on a Saturday since we were in the area. We made reservations in advance and they were able to seat us immediately when we got there. The place itself isn't too big but very cozy and clean. The menu also isn't too large but definitely had something for everyone. Sadly the bartender was not here the day we went so we were not able to order any of the cocktails so we focused mainly on the food. We got the Ube sliders which were pretty good in flavor. Since there was four of us we decided to get the Club 85 - which was HUGE, it was a lot of food and we were not able to finish all of it. If you are in a group we definitely recommend ordering this since it has a little of everything - you can add extra for the ribs which were also sold out the day that we went there. My favorites were the savory pork skewer and pork lechon. I was really excited for the lumpia but they were not as crispy as I would have liked it. But everything had great flavor in my opinion and we were stuffed when we left the place. Would recommend checking this place out if you are in the area! read more

Location is really cute and service is very attentive and helpful. The food isn't great. I got four items: lychee juice, mango salad, wings, and the halo halo. The lychee juice was fine; it's just lychee juice but not too sweet. The mango salad is bland. It is just chopped mango, tomato, cucumber. I don't know if they just forgot the seasoning on mine, but i had to ask for salt because it felt like they just chopped it and put it on the plate. The wings had a tasty seasoning, still light-handed, but they were very dry and tough. They were pretty large so sure that had something to do with it. The halo halo was the only saving grace. The ube ice cream they have is tasty, and salted like a salted caramel. read more

Finally made it to Kalye which means "street" in Tagalog. Menu had all my fave Filipino dishes. My friend and I shared lechón kare kare and the flavor was so amazing. It went perfect with a side of insal rice with a side of a hearty amount of insal chicken wings with a side of soy sauce mansi n suka vinegar. Drinks were mango juice , red horse beer and mango juice rose mansi cocktail.we were saddened by not to try UBE longanisa sliders and mushroom sisig which was sold out by this late Sunday afternoon. This was best time to go with no wait but sold out items which was trade off. Very intimate location with few tables and gender neutral bathrooms. It is a small Filipino restaurant. The day I went was busy because they were having a graduation celebration. I'm so glad they were able to sit us. We got the club 85. It can definitely feed a party of 4 people. We were able to try a little of everything. I really loved it but wished the lumpia was crisper. We were told it's not as crispy because they air fried it. Hopefully they figure a way to make it crispier through the air fryer. Will come back to dine again but I'll make sure to have a reservation since it is a small establishment. read more

The Ube sliders were light and fresh. The halo-halo is a good choice if you enjoy a dessert with plenty of ice, beans, and jello. This was my first time eating Filipino food but it did not disappoint! The inside itself is small but cosy so we made reservations on a Friday night. We got the mango salad, pork belly sisig with garlic fried rice, ribs and the halo halo. Everything was pretty good - my favorite being the pork sisig and the halo halo!! The halo halo was not too sweet and you can really taste the ube flavor instead of it tasting just like cream with artificial color. There was also plantains and other items inside which made it that much better. The staff were super nice and let us taste the ube soft serve before committing. We also saw some tables drawing a paper slip out of a jar and getting free dessert but we didn't have that option :( Not sure if that happens everyday or just on special days. I have had this restaurant bookmarked for a while now and I finally got to try them earlier this week. My friend and I shared the following: Pork and Beef Sliders: I loved the bright purple Ube buns used in the Pork and Beef Sliders. While it did not have any real Ube flavor (just tasted like normal buns), it was nevertheless fun to eat and look at. We enjoyed the Pork Sliders so much more than the Beef Sliders. The meat in the Beef Sliders were chewy and tough while the Pork Sliders were juicy and flavorful. Lumpiang Shanghai: Pretty good but I've had better elsewhere. Strangely, it did not come with any dipping sauce. This appetizer is usually eaten with some kind of vinegar or sweet and sour dipping sauce (aka the "sawsawan") Pork Belly Sisig: chopped pork belly with jalapeno, red and green onions. This was my favorite dish of the meal. The meat was very tasty especially after we squeezed lemon on it. I really wished it came with garlic rice instead of the steamed rice they gave us. That would have elevated this dish. Overall, it was a good meal but honestly, I was expecting more based on all of these five star reviews I've read. I thought their food presentation was on point and the food we got were good but it wasn't spectacular. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the many great Filipino restaurants I've been to in Queens. read more

Truly amazing. This place had some of the nicest service I've experienced. Our waitress was kind and helpful. And we received a free drink and dessert. Both of which were stellar!! The sliders were probably one of the best things I've eaten this year. The other dishes were also amazing but next time I'd get the sliders as my main meal. So good and juicy and flavorful. Food - I like the spring roll and the kare kare. Although it should have been ox tail. It was made with beef. The sandwich with ube bread was a little bland. I think I'd they used l longganiza instead - it would be tastier. The ube ice cream had little grainy morsels as you melted it in your mouth. I wonder why. We ordered the platter for 3 and it did not disappoint! Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The only con is that there are a lot of flies if you are seated outside. I recommend indoor seating during the summer! The staff were super nice. Highly recommend dining here if you are in the mood for Filipino food. read more

Food wise, I cannot complain. I spotted those ube sliders and knew I needed to try them. The beef was so tender, and there were flavors in there that I couldn't even say what they were. I just know they all went well together. Though I could somewhat tell that the bun was on the sweeter side, I wish the ube flavor were more prominent. And for $12.50, I definitely think these sliders should be larger. For the main, I went with the beef tapa main dish. Again, super tender beef with garlic rice, and a perfect fried egg. I loved that they were really generous with the beef, and I would absolutely recommend this dish if you're in a beef mood! My main issues come with the size of the place. It's really small, and they cram a lot of tables inside a super small place. When I was approaching the table my friend was already sitting at, I actually thought we were sharing a table with another two person party. There was a tiny sliver of space between the tables, but we honestly might as well have been sharing the table. You're seated on stools (no backs), and the top of my butt was grazing the top butt of the person behind me periodically because we were so tight. When someone sitting closer to the wall was exiting, I had to fully get off my chair and move to let people out. Because of the amount of people stuffed in here, it gets really loud. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're trying to catch up with someone you haven't seen in awhile. Finally, there was some kind of party happening on the other side of the space. Toward the end of our meal, we were getting ushered quickly out of the door, being asked more frequently if we were finished eating yet, and being told something along the lines of that another party had the space when we lingered a bit after paying (not 100% sure what was said because it was loud). I can't imagine it's always like this since there isn't always a party happening inside, but I think just giving a heads up when seating a party that the place has to be cleared out by a certain time would help to make me feel less disoriented. read more

The space is small but intimate, with an open kitchen concept, friendly staff, and beautiful artwork. * Downeast Guava Passion Fruit $9.00 I don't usually drink, but my partner does and this sounded really good... so good that I might've taken a few sips. I have to say, this perfectly balances the mild and sweet elements of guava with the tart and tangy notes of passion fruit, though it is expensive, considering that you can order a pack of 4 online for just a dollar more. * Crispy Lumpia (8pcs) $13.00 Thin and crispy air-fried spring rolls filled with minced pork, carrots, and Chinese celery. I'm not a huge fan of celery (Chinese or not), so I'm really glad the savoriness of the pork masked the taste of the celery. * Ube Longganisa Sliders (2pcs) $13.00 Easily the highlight of our meal. The sliders were adorably cute and bite-sized, with soft and fluffy ube buns, sweet and savory pork sausage patties, lettuce, tomato, onion-bacon jam, aioli, and the most beautiful Swiss cheese pull I've ever seen. * Pork Lechon $25.00 Incredibly underwhelming to say the least. Stop by here on my recent trip to NYC and I do not regret it. I'm Filipino and was craving Filipino food. Upon entering we were greeting and welcomed. They had plenty of options on the menu but we knew what we wanted immediately. For a busy place we didn't have to wait super long for our food. I ordered the sizzling sisig with garlic rice and my wife got the pork skewers. We were also given complimentary lumpias. Everything was fresh and tasted like home. I came here with my family after visiting a park nearby. They have some outdoor seating in addition to their indoor seating. The decor is nice with interesting artwork and a minimilist style dining area. They definitely fit into the area. We sat in and ordered some ube pork sliders and shrimp shumai. They have little bags of roasted peanuts that are nice to snack on while you wait for your food. The staff is very nice and attentive. We were offered water several times and we also tried their hard seltzers. Both the sliders and siomai were very good.. They served us the dumpling sauce as well as chili oil, which I appreciated. I love learning about new restaurants on Yelp, especially small businesses. This is a place I will definitely dine at in the future, as well as refer to others. read more

This is probably one of the few Filipino food places I've had, and I'm not too sure if I'm just not s huge Filipino food fan or what...I thought overall, the meat dishes were really heavy, and a bit too much on the salty side? I really did not like the chicken wings (was a bit too citrusy and salty for my liking). The lechon was ok... I'm also not a huge pork belly fan, so maybe that's why. My favorites were definitely the Ube Pao- it has Ube filling once you bite into it, and it's not overly sweet which is great! In terms of food- I really liked the Ube beef sliders! Super tender and juicy and rich in flavors. The pork skewers were decent as well, but the roasted eggplant was kinda odd ngl.... Couldn't really tell it was eggplant, since it didn't have much flavors, and the texture reminds me of Asian steamed eggs lol It was great to try it once, and I really liked the concept of Ube buns since I loveee Ube, but I probably will not be coming back. read more

3.5/5 stars! We love Filipino food in Los Angeles, so we wanted to try some authentic Filipino food in NYC. We saw Kalye on TikTok and decided to try it. It is not too large of a restaurant and they offer indoor and outdoor dining. Food and service was on the slower side which is understandable and we are patient. I will say our dishes that we received were okay for the most part, it wasn't great great, but it wasn't awful. We waited a while for the sliders and the meat was good but the buns were very hard. One of the best (if not THE BEST) Filipino restaurants in NYC! We didn't know what to order, as all menu items looked and sounded so good. So Jeremiah recommended Palabok, Lumpia, Pork Sisig, and the Mango Salad. Let me tell you, all dishes were outstanding!!! It was a taste of home away from home!!!! The restaurant may be small but the dishes are HUGE AND PACK WITH FLAVOR! If you're in the NYC area this is a MUST TRY! I cannot recommend this place enough. Will be returning when back in the city. Super welcoming vibe from the owners, such genuine smiles and appreciation for how excited I was to try their food! I felt so comfy and cared for here. Aesthetics were also on point, down to the packaging and the menu design. They started off by asking us if there were any allergies, then gave us peanuts in a cute little paper bag to start. Food came pretty fast. I was taking pictures of the food and they asked if my friend and I wanted a picture together haha. First time trying sisig and lumpia and so glad I had it here. Amazing place and honestly one of my favorite restaurants right now. Food we got: Pork skewers: 10/10 The garlic rice paired really well with the skewers which were amazing just by themselves. Ube beef sliders: 10/10 Definitely different than just regular sliders and really good. Wings: 8/10 Actually really liked it even though I'm not that into dry rub although these weren't 100% dry rub. This is my first Filipino food experience, and Kayle did not miss the mark. I am very tempted to go back, and try more items on their menu. The only concern I do have with Kayle is that it is very filling and the cost are relatively high, but it still is quite satisfying. We ordered the Ube sliders with chicken macoroni as a side, and was it quite delightful, I only wish they served mored then two sliders. There was an extravagant number of flavors I could taste in each bite and I still crave more. The eggplant appetizer my friend had ordered was not as tasty as compared to my plate, but it was still a great time for the both of us. The service is great, and the food was out quite fast, within 10 mins. There was not much of a crowd and we were able to get seated indoors, the only issue was that the tables are quite small for two and we were placed in something of an awkward corner. The server regularly talked with us and were great in giving advice. I really hope to try the skewers next. I haven't tried Filipino food before, so my boyfriend took me to Kalye to try out the cuisine. We ordered the Lumpia Shanhai, the Ube Bun Pork Sliders with a side of chicken macaroni, the Lechon with a side of steamed rice. We were given a small paper container of nuts to munch on and a jug of water for the table. My favorite was the sliders because the bun was fluffy, the pork patty was flavorful and juicy. The lechon was a little dry, but the 3 sauces they provide on the table helped a lot. The lumpia seemed to be freshly made and crispy, but my boyfriend said he has had better elsewhere. They are environmentally friendly, as the utensils and plates are all wood. There was an incident with the food where I quietly called a waiter over to notify her. It was handled appropriately, so we were pleased with the service. read more

This Filipino finally made it to Kalye! The food was pretty good. The restaurant delivered a pretty authentic menu with slightly modern twists to each item. We had the lumpia, which was made from scratch and unfortunately took forty minutes to make. (It was the last item to arrive, but the host graciously and preemptively put down two skewers of Filipino bbq as a complimentary treat for us, likely because of the wait. We didn't say anything about the wait, so this gesture was really appreciated.). The bbq was good and tasted very authentic. Took me back to the street bbq vendors back in Manila. We had the adobo which definitely tasted like a Filipino pork adobo. It was heavy on the dark soy sauce flavor and was savory and perfect to match with the white rice and egg it came with. The meat could have been slightly more tender. The lechon didn't really feel like lechon (cebu) and it instead felt like lechon kawali and lechon cebu combined into one. That said, it was melt in your mouth good and was extremely flavorful. The skin (which resembled chicharon more than lechon skin) was also perfectly seasoned and made for that necessary crunch to balance the tender and silky pork fat. The sisig was decent though I've definitely had better and would likely pass on it next time. Service was very kind though a tad slow. I highly recommend the place, which is quite cute and homey. Great vibes all around. Would recommend and I would definitely come back. read more

This is a cute, cozy spot in the Lower East Side for some handheld Filipino food, from appetizers to entrees to dessert. The space only has a few tables but it's pretty quiet which I appreciate. Our server, Adora, was really kind and friendly, checking in on us and chatting with us throughout our time there. What we got: - Inasal wings $12.50 - Ube bun beef sliders $12.50 - Halo halo $12 - Kayle hat $15 The food took some time to come out but thankfully we weren't too hungry. We got the ube beef sliders (comes with 2 sliders) and really liked the sweetness from the yuzu and the tenderness of the beef. The inasal wings were super juicy and had a strong amount of lemongrass and ginger which we really liked. They came with 6 pieces. The halo halo was a big bowl with shaved ice, ube ice cream, flan, mashed bananas, crispy rice, beans, adzuki bean, evaporated milk and palm seeds. I would definitely come back to try the entrees: lechon and sisig. I wanted to support the business and bought a cap for $15 which has their peace sign logo on front and says "Kalye" on the back. This place is small, but it felt very home-y and is run by the sweetest Filipino servers! They were super attentive and really nice. We were seated quickly and served a side of peanuts. Exceptional, authentic Filipino food. It's a bit pricey but extremely flavorful and there's a happy hour where drinks are half off. Highly recommend the mango and spicy guava cocktails. I did a catering order for my office from Kalye and it was a hit! I really enjoyed finally getting to try a Sisig dish because they had a vegan Mushroom Sisig. The rest of the office had a choice of Pork Lechon Belly, or the Beef Tapa; both were popular. Kalye—Tagalog for “street”—is a proudly Filipino, queer-owned restaurant located in Manhattan’s vibrant Lower East Side. Founded by Rob Mallari-D’Auria, Kalye was born from a deep desire to share the bold flavors and rich cultural traditions of the Philippines with New York City. Together with his husband Henry, Rob built Kalye as both a culinary destination and a welcoming space for community and creativity. The menu is hung up on the wall and you order at the counter before being seated which is interesting. I feel like this system can be difficult because parties usually like to take their time and look at the menu before ordering, especially if the place is packed, it would be hard looking at the menus but I digress. The best dish was the pork sisig like the others recommended. All the dishes were fairly small and I feel like would be just enough between 2-3 people max to share. I think realistically my party all got 2-3 bites of each dish and we probably weren't full full. The cream sauce on the tenderloins were really good too.

And, for $13, that's pretty cheap for the amount of food you get. I would eat it again if the line was 5 minutes. Otherwise, I'm positive you will find similar food/better food elsewhere.

I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

The service was great; they drew the cutest card when they found out it was my brother's birthday and let us bring a cake. And they also offered hair ties to the people with long hair. You order through an iPad which has a beautiful menu.

I loved watching the staff prepare the noodles while waiting. My bowl was huge and absolutely delicious. It was very spicy as promised, but not too spicy that it was rendered not enjoyable. The food was okay, nothing especially exciting or interesting. Ambiance was okay, but the service was truly horrible. We came with a voucher we had purchased online - and they clearly were not happy about it. They treated us horribly - acted extremely annoyed we were using a voucher. They would only let us come in and use it during an extremely limited window. They also limited us on what we could order and lied about what was actually included in the voucher. They also kicked us out after exactly 60 minutes on the dot. There were at least 4 other open tables and they said we have to leave because there were reservations coming in. I still had my drink to finish and they would not let us stay. I don't think I've ever been as insulted or treated this horribly ever before at a dining establishment. We also left a 22% tip which I now deeply regret. This is not a way to treat customers. They accepted to be part of this marketing voucher program - and then are angry someone is actually taking part and using it. If they don't want to accept the vouchers or are going to be extremely rude to customers using them - then they simply should not opt in to it. read more

We decided to go with the Crispy Lumpia, Pork Lechon, and Halo Halo, and let me tell you, everything was absolutely delicious! When I called to place an order, I was answered by an AI agent that couldn't understand my request and automatically sent me a link to order through a third-party website. There was no option to speak with someone at the restaurant directly, which was frustrating. The pricing was another issue. The total on the third-party website was $11 higher than the receipt attached to my food when I picked it up. When I went back to the restaurant to address the discrepancy, I was told they "cannot control the prices" on the website. I was left with no resolution other than their vague promise to investigate, which felt dismissive. Lastly, the food itself was underwhelming. It arrived cold and was not nearly enough for two people, especially considering it cost $62. Tried this restaurant with my husband, we had Kare-kare and pork sisig. I tried a lot of Filipino foods every place I go and this one I would say it's just OK, kare-kare have a good taste but the pork is very fatty and cold, it's small portion too they also include this long strip chicharon/pork rinds but it's really hard. The Pork Sisig is ok the taste is good as well but how I wish it comes with egg and this one doesn't serve in sizzling plate, which kinda disappointing. read more

The food is absolutely delicious! My ultimate favorite is the ube longanisa slider, closely followed by the ube pao. The lumpiang shanghai is also incredibly tasty. The service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, clean, and adorned with artistic decor. I highly recommend trying the ube sliders and ube pao, and I'll definitely return to explore more of their offerings! read more

Kalye was great! The vibe felt welcoming, and the food had that true Filipino flavor. Started with Lumpia, super crispy and tasty. Had the Chicken Adobo too, and it was tender, just the right mix of savory and tangy. Service was nice but kinda slow on a busy night.
