    Tony & His Amazon Chef!

We catered a Staff Appreciation luncheon for Pucketts Mill Elementary and it was fantastic! The teachers said this was the BEST ONE THEY HAVE EVER HAD!!! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the customer service was incredible. I plan a lot of conferences and I will have to say it was truly a pleasure to work with Tony, the General Manager. He was knowledgeable, hospitable and very accommodating of all of our requests. He asked all the right questions and anticipated our needs. Best yet he didn't say no to a single request and worked hard to find a solution or alternative to anything I asked for. He's phenomenal and most definitely an asset to Kani House. Thank you so much for everything on behalf of Pucketts Mill Elementary!

Manager taunting us before we left

We had an 8pm reservation. When we sat down we were placed in a back area near the wait staff area and high chair storage. Table area next to us sat after us and had quicker service. Our full meal was not complete until 9:30pm. There was no chef engagement or entertainment...there was at other tables. One of the main reasons for going to a place like this is that. This chef seemed tired...he took a very long time to cook each food item. Other tables chefs were cooking multiple foods simultaneously. The food was then much colder but also bland. When we asked for a manager, Toni Phan came over and was argumentative. He stated we were not being honest...he stated every chef cooks and does the same...which you could clearly see was not true. He placed his hand on his hip and dismissed our issues. He berated us and thought it was funny. The grill was not real clean before or after cooking. Two out of the three of us got sick after. Also, I asked for to go containers for the sauce. The waiter brought over 3 and gave them to my brother (who did not ask but wanted them, started filling his up). When I asked the waiter for mine he said he gave them to him and to get one from him. When the manager saw us before leaving he continued taunting us. We were forced to pay for horrible service and food.

I happen to be in the area doing some shopping and decided to stop in and get some food. My first time. The service was good. We were seated right away and the food was actually pretty good. Everything was flavorful. The portions were large enough for me to have leftovers. The only thing that kept it from being five stars was to drink. I ordered a Bahama Mama and it tastes like straight juice. I will be back and will opt for a different drink.

Food was great. The server was awesome. Patient and explained food options well. She asked a about allergies. A little loud with birthday drum playing.

First time visit; Service from the hostess to the end was great. My waitress was "Jae" and she was attentive and kind. My dinner was fantastic, delicious, artful, and memorable. The atmosphere was nice. I hope to go back tobKani House very soon.

    Vegetable Hibachi Entree

We had a good time here. We had our favorite hibachi place back where we used to live so now we've been looking for a new one near us. We saw this place one day and finally decided to try it. When we arrived we put our names on the list and waited for about 15min. We were called and seated with a big and nice family that were celebrating some birthdays. The waitress came to take our drink order. It took a while for her to come back with the waters. Then she took our food order. After about 10 min she brought our soups and then the salads. The chicken soup was pretty good, very similar to what we're used to. The only thing is that we didn't get one of those Japanese soup spoon and we had to use a regular spoon to drink the soup. Yeah I know not a big deal but based on the size of the soup cup and the spoon, it wasn't very easy to do so. I guess we were supposed to drink the soup from the cup, I guess?. Anyway not really a big deal, just would be better with the proper spoon. The salad was pretty good. Their ginger dressing is more to the sweet side. I liked it but my husband didn't. I ate both of our salads because for me the salad dressing was very good. The chef arrived not long after. He was a nice guy and made the show very enjoyable. My husband got the hibachi filet and I got the vegetables. The chef asked if I was vegan and I told him I just wanted to eat some more veggies that night. He began to cook and he made my rice first because I didn't want eggs in it. My rice and the veggies were very good! I also tried my husband's filet and it was amazing! Cooked just right! Definitely getting more next time. One thing we didn't like that much was the sauces. They are too sweet. I usually love yumyum sauce but I didn't like theirs so I sat it aside. It was too sweet. I'm used to a more creamy and savory yumyum sauce. The ginger sauce was also too sweet and watery. Not our favorite. The sorbet was very good. And I was very excited that it was included. The ambiance and the place needs to be updated. It looks a little old and cramped. Overall we had a good time. The food was good, just the sauces weren't what we expected.

The food here is always exquisite. The staff is so friendly that I wished I lived near. The overall experience was nice. Just like the other locations. I got a booth all to myself because it's my business! Lol. It's never a bad idea to stop at Kani House! #ashsaidit

Unfortunately sharing is illegal with desserts.. The GM even came by to check on us and told us to head to the other room for live music afterward. A perfect ending to a perfect night. Didn't realize how big the place was until I went to the restroom. It's huge with a private dining area for large groups, a regular area in front of open kitchen (which is where we sat) and then a bar area and another whole section where a pianist started playing a few minutes before we left. Service was very attentive. Two employees worked our table and the manager stopped by to check on us as well which is always appreciated. They have TV's in the bar area tuned to the World Cup coverage. Large modern fireplace in the bar section with casual seating in front of it. Valet parking available but we parked ourselves and used the tip money to buy creme brulee for dessert. We started with the burrata salad which included both red and green tomatoes. Very good. For my main entree, I ordered the halibut and it was excellent. My husband ordered the Cuts Ribeye and he described how he wanted his steak to the server and he recommended the temp. It was perfectly light pink so he was right with his knowledge. Prices were typical for a steakhouse but this spot makes for a great date night.

The host said it was to celebrate the spring season since they did a apres ski theme during the winter. So festive. Okay so boom, we came here on a whim since we were going to a concert in the area later that evening. Surprisingly it wasn't busy for a Saturday which I expected it to be. Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail. My birthday is Christmas week and I typically don't go out as I simply would rather not have to deal with the anticipated crowds. It was indeed crowded (on a Tuesday!) but my experience is one I'll never forget. She had made reservations and so to save a bit of time, we did valet parking. And from the friendliness of the valet, to the near immediate greeting and seating upon arrival, Seasons52 truly made my birthday special. I honestly can't give enough kind words for our server Tori - she was a genuine treat! Professional, attentive, kind ... just a beautiful soul. Please acknowledge Tori for the kind human being that she is and the wonderful service she provides. And my steak - the 8 oz. filet - oh my! Easily one of the best I've ever had! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I savored every bite! Even the young guy at valet parking (wish I had gotten his name) was attentive and pleasant. I left them both nice, FAT tips with the hope that I made there day just as much as they made mine. They were even intentional about thanking us for our visit as we were leaving. To their credit, the staff did apologize and replaced the meal, and also offered a Caesar salad. However, the salad itself was not good and didn't really make up for the situation. The replacement entrée was fine--it tasted good--but by that point the experience was already affected. For a place like this, you expect a higher level of quality control and attention to detail. While they did try to fix the issue, finding something like that in your food is hard to overlook. Overall, just not the experience I expected for the price. Only good thing was my server he was excellent, I wish I could have remembered his name.

They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful.
