Very satisfied with the school. My class is with Tony B., a very professional and experienced instructor. He will push you to remember everything until they change into your own driving habits. I moved to LA from the UK and wanted to get some professional guidance to pass my driving test. I drove with Veronica, Leo, Gustavo and Tony and they were all excellent. Tony, however, was the best! As a student of Pamela, I definitely had a worthwhile experience learning from her. Not only does she teach what needs to be accomplished during the driving exam, she also teaches common driving knowledge which is very useful for future references. Pamela offers a lot of advice and is not hesitant to correct you when you make a mistake or forget a signal. Two stars are only for the very sweet staff who have to deal with an owner named Teresa Farrell! I had the "pleasure" of dealing with her attitude this week. She was rude and unorganized. She asked me why I did not call before coming in to request a document, and her tone was that she did not appreciate me dropping in on all her chaos. While there, they could not find documents that should have been easy to locate. After I had paid the receptionist for the service, which Teresa was not in the room for, she questioned me several times regarding payment being made. She looked at me as if I was lying to her. When I brought it to her attention that I did not appreciate her insinuating that I didn't pay, she said (with an attitude!) the receptionist had not updated the record of the transaction. So continue to insinuate I haven't paid because your receptionist didn't do HER job!?! Very unprofessional and unacceptable! I have one child who has gone the Triple A driving school route and one who has gone through Kanor. My Triple A driver came out much better prepared and happier with the service, just from listening to both their comments. I would say go ahead and spend the extra money for excellent care, instruction, and service from Triple A. I will say thank you to Frank (driving instructor), and the staff at front desk. I had Pamela as my instructor for all my lessons, and she was a great teacher. She taught me everything I needed to know for my driving test very patiently and answered all the questions I've had. She patiently and calmly corrected my mistakes. She was also always on time. If anything she arrived a few minutes early. I was able to pass my drivers test on the first try thanks to Kanor and Pamela. I was nervous starting out driver's training with little experience and had no idea how I would do in front of my instructor. Started off with my instructor, Pamela, who went through all of the driving and DMV test basics fairly quickly. Once we started driving, my nerves went away and I had a great time learning and felt comfortable with basic questions. Pamela was very very patient with me and it felt like a relaxed environment which was great so I requested her for my last 2 lessons. She was honest with what I needed to work on but explained things carefully so I didn't feel too bad about mistakes. I am very pleased with the school. Frank is punctual, professional, patient, and polite. I was allowed to be in the car while my daughter was taking the lessons; this let me observe his techniques and her driving so I continue to teach her later on. She passed on the first try. So after 4 years of commuting on a motorcycle, I was finally ready to get my drivers license. I have lived in the Orange County area for years and I attended Cypress College so I have passed by the Kanor offices many times and they were the first people I thought of when I wanted to take lessons. I paid for the 20 hour course and got Frank as my first instructor. He was very patient as I made a lot of mistakes as it was the first time I drove on surface streets. For the rest of my lessons I had Pamela. Pamela was so patient and kind during lessons and gave me the confidence to drive. I ended up taking the test after 6 lessons and I passed with flying colors! Just passed the behind-the-wheel driving test yesterday, and I definitely recommend Kanor Driving School to anyone who is looking for a driving school. Due to many reasons I could only practice with my instructor down in LA and I love my instructor Veronica. She is kind, considerate, patient, humorous and hit the nail on the head when she pointed out my problems and helped me correct these problems. She taught me good habit of driving from the very beginning and explained everything very well. I also had several lessons with Pamela. She is great, and taught me parking and pull over to the curb well. Teresa took me to my first behind the wheel driving test. She patiently went over the mistakes I made in the test , and helped me schedule another 6 hours of practice to pass the test on my second try. I had no problem scheduling/canceling tests/classes with Ailyn in their office over the phone. She is super nice and get things done right away so that I didn't need to worry about them. Unlike a lot of other 17 yrs old kids, my parents weren't available all the time to help me practice driving. Kanor Driving school helped me a lot to become a responsible and defensive driver. As a result I passed my test first try! My instructor, Mr. Leo, was super nice and good. The school also offers the option to let you borrow their car for the DMV test, and in addition to that let you practice one hour before the DMV appointment. I was very pleased with my results.
