Kapow has some good points and that includes the great staff, the comfortable seating and the welcoming vibes and all is good - well until the food comes. I've been here a few times and tried a variety of menu items and the food doesn't even hit average with much of it devoid of flavor and not worth eating. Everything I tried reminds me of basic chain food offerings but with a quasi Asian menu and ingredients that seem to be low quality. The Spicy Beef Basil was a low grade standout and I just couldn't chew the beef. Noodle dishes were slightly better but not by much. The Happy Hour is fine and I would go back for that but this time I would just go for drinks and eschew food offerings. read more

My husband and I stopped in for a late night dinner on November 7, 2025. The online menu drew us in because we were looking for a marinated filet. We shared the Korean Wagyu Filet Mignon and Wok Charred Edamame. It was just what we were looking for, everything was delicious! It was the best meal we had the entire week. Our server, Ashley, was so sweet and took the best care of us. We were celebrating our anniversary and she suggested we get the Thai donuts for dessert. They were warm and delicious. Even better they were given to us on the house to help us celebrate! We spoke with Frank, the General Manager, while we were there too. He came by our table initially because we had a question about the online menu. It was the first day for the Korean Wagyu Filet and there was a slight discrepancy online compared to the printed menu. They had that fixed before we left and thanked us for pointing it out. He stopped by again to check on how we liked our dinner. Overall it was a great place, with great people! I was so excited to come to this location as I have been to the other locations multiple times. We went on a Monday for the end of happy hour and asked to sit outside. It was about 15 minutes and two servers walked by us and ignored us and it wasn't even that busy. We got up and left and the clueless hostess said "Hope you enjoyed have a great day!" Kapow recently opened in downtown Delray Beach and a group of our friends decided to experience the happy hour there. We ordered one of everything from the happy hour food menu and found everything to be somewhat overly 'saucy'. Happy hour drinks included alcohol plus a mixer, nothing that is considered a mixed drink (martini, margarita, or specialty cocktails). We did order one dish from the regular dinner menu, the mushroom chow fun dish, which we enjoyed and found to be more than acceptable. I would not consider the happy hour at Kapow as a go-to for us, but dinner is definitely an option for the future. read more

So glad they decided to open up a location in delray ! We had both the tuna and avocado crispy rice (not pictured) and I was shocked at how good the avocado one was. The steak lo mein was soo so yummy and super fresh and wholesome, packed with a ton of veggies and it had a sauce that was slightly sweet and tangy. The red onions gave it the perfect touch. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly as well. Our server Alexa was really sweet and welcoming to us the whole night and really tailored our experience. She recommended I get the spicy lover cocktail and it was just what I like - refreshing, strong, not too sweet, with a kick. She was a breath of fresh air compared to our last visit where our server made us feel as though we were bothering him the whole time. My boyfriend got the pussycat drink and neither of us were a fan. The presentation is cute but that's about it. It's REALLY heavy on that banana flavor!! We were so excited to see that Kapow moved to Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. We finally got around to trying it last night and loved both the food and the service.
