Was not my cup of tea. Pricey but for special occasion that isn't my low score, the food was average, the bathroom inconvenient for elderly or disabled. Worse part was they made all the drinks wrong. The drink I had was supposed to be orange juice but they used cheap pineapple juice. Too sweet and could not nor would I drink it. My sons too. He asked for orange juice in his specifically because he saw mine had pineapple in it. The charged him an up charge and still put pineapple juice in his. He was mad, got up and left. They put the drink on my bill. When the waitress came to take our order I had her remove my sons food from the ticket because he left. They didn't plus they never brought the food. My meal was over $26 and I eat about as much as a happy meal but I left there hungry. Wonderful tiramisu the whole 6 bites of it. read more

We were in town for the night and checked out Bergs Landing. It was a really great experience! We had the fish special for the day. It was very delicious. Had a nice view of the water. Wonderful food, cocktails, and servers. We dine at a Bergs as a large group several times a year and they do not miss a beat. Everything is perfect every time. The Landing is an incredible spot to dine and relax. I ate there last night and the seafood stuffed salmon was simply terrific. This was a special the chef made for the night. It was stuffed with scallops, crab meat, and white fish. So very good. The dessert was another special for the night....fresh blue berries over white cake with a sauce containing pecans. After my 5th time dining in this gem, I couldn't believe there weren't hundreds of 5-star reviews. I live in Chicago and spend a lot of time dining out in a very competitive dining market; To this day I still honestly say that the food, service, and experience compares if not trumps the best dining experiences in any major city. The seafood mornay is phenomenal - And the landing is in my top 5 restaurant's ever visited, along with Mastro's Steakhouse. If people are looking for a remodeled 'facelifted' atmosphere there has to be a Culver's trending nearby; Because a historic, character-filled building on the bay is not to be tampered with. read more

We were greeted and served by excellent and friendly staff. We had the crab stuffed shrimp and the Dutchman's platter. Both excellent choices. The calamari was also a very good appetizer. Thank you to everyone working at Bergs Landing last night!! It was my parents 46th wedding anniversary and I knew they were headed to Bergs for the food they love, the view of the lake, and the friendly service they have come to expect when they make the hour trip over there from their home! I called ahead and asked to take care of their bill as a surprise. The team was very happy to help me with my request and by no means made me feel like they had to go out of their way to organize this surprise for my parents. My parents didn't have a reservation, still Bergs saved them a table at my best guessed arrival time (and went above and beyond on their own to make it a table with a view!!) Since they didn't have a reservation, the staff had to play detective with my parents when they got there to figure out if it was them or not! Unbelievable what Bergs staff did to go out of their way to make this special! When it came time to pay up, the waitress told them that I took care of it and told them that I wish them a happy anniversary. My parents told me that the Bergs staff shared with them that they actually had a team meeting before opening to be sure the surprise went off without a hitch:) Love that!!! Such a heart warming experience, both having the opportunity to make this happen and knowing that the job was left in such caring hands to be carried out flawlessly and with VIP treatment. The place is supposed to be the finest diner option in town. They have the best view, the best menu, the best atmosphere. The portion are quite small but are relatively tasty. The strongest issue is that I have been there twice and been foodsick twice. read more

I thought that the food was very delicious but one of the main reasons why I was excited to go here was for the atmosphere. I was excited to enjoy a nice dinner with beautiful views of the lake. Sadly, there is not many great views. I think the downfall for this restaurant is not the food but the building itself. It reminded me of an old supper club that needs a face lift. My partner and myself (both recovering foodies-lol), dined here on our way home from our Mackinaw Island/Bridge-Lake Michigan Circle Tour vacay recently, and we were exceptionally pleased with everything. The decor, while in transition, still presented well with good lighting, and solid, linen-dressed tables. The view of Lake Mighingan (just past the boat moorings) was enchanting. Our server (Sara) was charming, efficient, and attentive, and as it got busier that did not change one bit. We truly enjoyed chatting with her at the end of our meal (she has great communication skills!). As for the bread service, which I found a bit soft for my liking, while my partner couldn't get enough. Our darling server, Sara, made no bones about taking a menu offering and substituting the filet with a ribeye. My partner had a salmon dish that was fabulous, and my steak was thoroughly enjoyable. They also have an excellent Michigan wine menu! We were comped a dessert over a minor snafu, and out came a large piece of Turtle Cheesecake. They use the French recipe (a bit dry to most unsophisticated American palates, but we found it delightful, and not overly sweet) and the presentation and flavors were as exceptional as the meal itself. The owner is a very friendly, charming lady, and really knows how to take care of her front-of-house, kitchen, and her patrons equally well. We had an excellent meal, with excellent service, and will definitely repeat dining here should we be in the area again. P.S. I must say that prices here actually compare favorably with Chicago's better restaurants. read more

I was born and raised in Menominee and have never in my life had a bad meal here. I have had the opportunity to eat at some amazing restaurants and this place still has some of the most fresh and properly cooked seafood I have ever had. Very disappointed, my friends and I came here for dinner. I ordered the shrimp feast, the other two ordered chicken marsala and lobster mac & cheese special. The battered shrimp tasted very bad like a dish soap taste. And scampi half tasted way over powered with garlic. The chicken Marsala had very little taste the only part that had flavor was on the mushrooms; and the pasta had no sauce. The lobster mac & cheese had a grainy Parmesan tasting a very salty sauce versus a creamy sauce. The lobster tail was set outside of the Mack and cheese which does not describe lobster mac & cheese; that describes a lobster tail with mac & cheese. It was also served with a lemon and clarified butter as if they should've been separate versus an entirety dish. read more

We were staying nearby & a local resident told us the best food in the area could be found at Berg's Landing. They did not disappoint. Greeted by one of the owners, the hospitality was top notch. The view of Lake Michigan is superb, even in the wintertime. Our waitress, Paige was extremely gracious & the service was second to none. I chose a walleye dish, first time ever with mushrooms, peppers & onions. The chef, also an owner, does outstanding work. The portions were perfect, the ambiance was lovely & the meal was just right. We even went for a dessert. I chose a wedge of raspberry ice cream pie & it was wonderful. Overall, this fine dining spot is as good as it gets. read more

For a nice restaurant this one is alright. My expectations were low so I left satisfied. I compare most food to the fare I can receive in Seattle, and while the food was good it simply is not in the same league. My filet was good not great and my wife's sirloin was bland and reminded me more of tasteless leather than meat. The atmosphere was adequate and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The bread and salad reminded me of the Olive Garden. Mass produced and churned out to add something more so you won't feel like you are getting ripped off because of the high price. We eat at the landing every year when visiting Menominee. Extensive menu. Alot of selections. Seafood has always been wonderful. The BEST fried calamari I've ever had. Sometimes we throw together a meal with a bunch of appetizers and it works great. Service has always been attentive and the bartenders are very good & fast. The chocolate tart with vanilla sauce is awesome. Reservations recommended and ask for a table with a view. read more
