The beet salad was on the small side and nothing special and a special mention to the hash browns, which are McDonalds style are nice and crispy! Service was good, everything came out quickly. From valet to walking right into Kassi Beach House with such a different vibe than a lot of places, I was pleased to begin with. I loved this slightly darker feel, with many different options of seating to really create a nice vibe with friends for dinner. Our server, Jeff was nice and patient with us. Our table was chatty but he checked on his periodically to see if we needed anything. I will say hands down, some of the best oysters I've ever had and the fries were a hit amongst our table. The pasta dishes looked delicious and my friends who had them were pleased and full. The drinks are great & I'm so glad they had mocktails (some actual options!). It was a beautiful Saturday for Brunch at Kassi Beach House. I really enjoyed my time with my friends, but here's my review. Mary was out server and she was awesome. 5 stars for her. The ambiance is really nice and it's a pretty good-sized restaurant. You can sit in or outdoors. We asked if they had heaters, but unfortunately, they were out of propane. Yikes!!!! Next, I asked Mary if she could ask the manager or DJ to lower the music just a tad bit. It was so loud that we could not hear Mary or hear each other speak. I personally think it was loud because the doors to the pool were closed, so the noise/music was bouncing off the walls instead of projecting out. Food: I ordered the Avocado Toast to add Prosciutto (they have no Bacon). 2 glasses of Prosecco The toast was ok. I personally feel that it lacked flavor even though I added prosciutto. I asked for balsamic Vinegarette to give more taste. I was not a fan. My friends had the Kassi Burger and Pear Formaggia. According to the ones who ordered the Burger, it was just a burger. They had to ask for more of the bacon jam. The pizza was delcious. Lastly, we ordered the Mezze for the table. Whip Ricotta with Honey and the Eggplant was deliciously good. Kassi was such a cute vibey spot. We went with some friends and the vibes were so good. The service was great and so was the food. I ordered the margarita pizza, white pasta, hummus, tuna tartare, and pepperoni pizza. The hummus was so creamy and the bread they gave with it was so soft and fluffy. The tuna tartare was fresh but it was very small. The pizzas were thin and fresh. The overall vibe of this restaurant was so nice we loved it. I had lunch at Kassi Beach yesterday and ordered the vodka pasta and fried calamari. The first vodka pasta I got was undercooked, so I told the server. The staff were very nice and immediately offered to make me a new one, but it took quite a while to come out. The second one was very salty, but I was okay with that. However, about 20 minutes after I got home, I started having diarrhea that lasted the whole day and into the night. I'm really disappointed and believe it was caused by the food. I hope the restaurant takes food safety and hygiene more seriously -- this was a very unpleasant experience. read more

Kassi is located inside the Virgin Hotel, and it is connected to their pool area. Upon walking in it is very beautiful, boho decor and style, it seems you are transported into a tropical location, not in Vegas. I was able to make a reservation through open table which was helpful! There is indoor/outdoor seating and it is very spacious inside. They have a full bar as well. The service was very slow. I felt very bad for our server Dorothy she was very overworked and she was even complaining to other tables that she was the only server there when we went for brunch. She was super sweet but had too many table to handle for herself. Tip: if you sit outside especially during this time of the year make sure you sit near a mister, where we were seated the mister was off and I did not realize until our food came and it was hard getting them to turn it on, we were sweating!! As for as the food, and drinks, I got the Amalfi Slushie, it was very good, and presented beautifully . For a starter we got the Calamari which was good as well, with some kind of balsamic sauce which was delicious. We also got the Pizza Blanca (w/no prosciutto.) The pizza was just okay. I've been here before. Delicious, Incredibly tasty, & well priced. Wednesday's they do this amazing house music night & switch it up weekly. In addition they add drink specials & food specials. I've tried the pizza in the past (amazing), the mezze platter & the Puccia bread. All WOW! This time we got the olives, eggplant dip, 2 Puccia breads, & a new pasta that was on the menu. Now, although the pasta was delicious, I specifically inquired about any meat or cream in the pasta. Two separate employees checked & assured me there wasn't. Let me preface before I move forward with this review that this is my honest experience & i am explaining the story the way it happened. Our bartenders/servers were incredible. They smiled, were quick to follow up to ensure we were good or if we needed anything & I believe it was an honest mistake as it was a new item on the menu. Back to the pasta; it had meat in it. I won't get into too much detail, & as delicious as it was, I have not eaten meat in over 5 years. I was not happy about it. Nevertheless, I recognize it was an honest mistake. The bartender had the manager come out (I did not ask for one fyi since I wasn't upset about it). She was incredible & handled it like a pro. The only challenge I found was after handling it she asked if we wanted another Puccia bread with some fresh sauce (from the pasta) WITHOUT the meat. She went to the kitchen herself to ensure it would come out. It never made it back to the table/bar. All in all, I live here, have friends that deejay here, & I will 100% be back as I genuinely have a great experience when I frequent this place. Had a great time here! Especially enjoyed the bread that came with the mezze platter which was the star of the show. We loved it so much we asked for two more. I got the bolognese and loved it. Their servings were huge too. My wife got the bianca pizza, the rest of the family ordered the branzino, seafood pasta, cacio e pepe, chicken alfredo and a kassi burger. Didn't get to take photos as everyone was starving. Their fryer was under maintenance so we couldn't order fries or calamari but that's ok. Gives us another reason to come back aside from the bread. The first thing that caught my attention was the real chill vibe. It was super comfortable and the service was very good. The couch style seating made you feel at home. Delightful ambiance. The Jamaica Mezcal drink was pretty good. I'm always looking for mezcal mixed drinks. The sides we choose like the calamari and the cheese sticks were on the salty side. I asked for grilled octopus and again on the salty side. My son asked for the shrimp vodka pasta with sausage and again very salty. Every dish we had it was a salty version. That was very disappointing. My husband asked grilled chicken and it had this weird taste like if it was an old chicken. Definitely not the best food. One of the best restaurants I've been to in Vegas! Kassi Beach House is located inside Virgin Hotels. The coastal decor was absolutely gorgeous and I love the beachy, lax vibes. We had a reservation at 11am on a Sunday for a girls brunch. It was still pretty vacant inside the restaurant but about an hour later, the restaurant filled up. Since the weather was breezy, we sat out in the patio near the pool. We shared a some plates between the 6 of us: -Mezze Platter: We got this as a complimentary appetizer and it was AMAZING. It came with a fresh and puffy puccia bread with 3 different dips: whipped eggplant, white bean, and whipped ricotta with honey, which was my fave. We finished this in seconds. -Soppressata Pizza: YESSSS. I love the fluffy, light, and chewy dough. The soppressata was so yummy. I enjoyed the hint of honey as well. I loved this pizza. -Mushroom Carbonara: Perfectly cooked al dente pasta with meaty trumpet mushrooms and a yolky egg. This was absolutely delicious! -Truffle Fries: You can't ever go wrong with this. It was piping hot and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. -Grilled Broccolini: Anything grilled is always good. It was a little light on the seasoning but it was still tasty. One of my friends also ordered the espresso martini and it was BOMB. I hardly tasted the alcohol but I could tell that it was strong. They also gave us complimentary lemon drops which was so fun! Amazing espresso martini and their punch bowl was super tasty and I usually don't like spicy mixed drinks. The punch bowl was like a fancy jungle juice. The food was very good, I had the house salad, margarita pizza, spicy vodka pasta, truffle fries and chicken parm cutlet. The chicken parm cutlet was mid. It needed more salt/flavor. The service was good, but nothing that was standout. I love the setting, the aesthetic is very Italian and pretty. The DJ was great and the music fit the vibe. As locals, we've been anticipating to try Kassi for awhile now, and finally we made it (for dinner) before our concert. Hubs made a reservation for 6:45pm, the hostesses were kind but definitely seemed frazzled with managing time and people coming in/out of the entrance. They explained after a few minutes that they are 10 minutes behind seating us... that turned into 25 minutes. We did our best to patiently wait but at one point we had to follow-up as it seemed we were forgotten. Once we were, it was a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The lighting was dim, the seats were comfortable with plush patio furniture and lots of wood decor and white wall coves, and a bamboo ceiling. All of this said "stay awhile, chill." The manager treated us to a round of drinks and an appetizer for the long wait time with reservation. This was a nice way to apologize! The waiter briefly greeted himself and then said he'd come back to take our order. That wait time (no joke) was 15 minutes. He was running through the restaurant hustling to tend to his other tables. Clearly time management is not Kassi's strong suit and their staff seems stressed as a result-- and that doesn't match or align with the chill vibes here. As another waiter walked by, he explained that they are all working hard and together to help folks get served, so he finalized our order. Our daughter had the margarita pizza (sadly, her came out last as they had BURNED the first pizza and apologized that they're making another one for her - which took an extra 10 minutes). I ordered the beet salad and Brussels sprouts, we shared the calamari (definitely a light and crispy appetizer 10/10!), and hubs had the bolognese (which he said was plentiful and flavorful). We weren't offered a dessert menu or any coffee, which I would have enjoyed to see or try. BUT-- with all the time wasted and delays we were not LATE to our concert. Overall, we may try Kassi again, but hopefully they consider fixing the kinks with training and time management. read more

Kassi beach house has one of the best ambiance's I've experience in a while! There is nothing like poolside dining with an outdoor patio, sipping on a drink and eating brunch with friends while good music and a breeze liven up the atmosphere. We were seated outside, which as I was being led to the table, I was bummed I didn't get to sit inside as we passed by so many great tables and a great vibe, because usually the patio dining is not as good of a vibe as inside..... but as we transitioned to outdoors, I was only more impressed. I really could get used to the outdoor dining options in Vegas if they're all anything like this. it felt like we had a private table to ourselves because of the greenery around us, and I had such a great view of the pool area. I really want to come back during pool season to see if the vibe changes when people fill the pool, because I kind of loved how serene it was, but could see it becoming super fun! The food was also a huge win. I ordered the ricotta pancakes and matcha latte, and my friend ordered the avocado toast. I wish they had chosen a more ripe banana, as it had that green banana taste and mouth feel which I don't prefer, and was a little too sour for the rest of the caramelized sweetness of the rest of the dish, but I know it's hard to time banana selection lol. Everything else about it was so memorable- I want to go and get another order. The matcha was also a success, and I'm picky about my matchas! We had our two boys with us, and we had to use our stroller, and I shall say they are stroller and wheelchair friendly. Which I totally appreciate since a lot of restaurants forget about that. Definitely make a reservation. I made one via Open table. We went for brunch, and their outside patio was filling up real quick, but they did have a bunch of chairs and tables in the inside as well. They have a bunch of cocktails and alcoholic drinks to choose from. As well as a variety of non alcoholic drinks. Our server was friendly. I totally forgot her name. I think it was Allie? They have a DJ on weekends and even a small spot to dance. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The manager Shannon takes care of everyone and makes you feel so welcome and like family. The tuna tartare was an unusual presentation with large slices of tangerine and radish. But it was absolutely delicious although skimpy on tuna for the $21 price tag. Absolutely loved the egg sandwich (left out the chili sauce). It was very filling and flavorful! The ricotta pancake wasn't my favorite but other people enjoyed it. If you like the sour taste or ricotta cheese, you'd like this pancake. The French fries with truffle aioli was delicious. The fries were crunchy and flavorful and the truffle aioli complemented the flavor well. Drinks 2.5/5 Tried hot black coffee (side of cream and brown sugar) and iced matcha latte. I'd skip both next time! The matcha is not a true authentic Japanese matcha. If you like Starbucks matcha, you'll like this though. The coffee didn't taste fresh and was a bit acidic. Service 4/5 A few of us arrived before the rest of the group around 1 pm and received great service from Amber. The place started to fill up around 2 pm and the service slowed down. Ambiance 5/5 The place has boho vibes and is very aesthetically pleasing! Bathrooms are gender neutral with shared washer sinks. An absolute treat and worth staying at the Virgin for a night or two just to be close. The brunch outside is shaded and has a great view of their beach pool. We started with the puccia bread and whipped ricotta and honey dip. It's the perfect blend of savory with a touch of sweet. Also a very fair price considering the location. If fresh warm bread dipped in cool and smooth cheese is your thing, then this is the perfect appetizer. I ordered the chopped salad and added steak. The filet was seasoned very well (with the maldon salt of the gods) and nicely tender. Again a fair price all things considered. The salad is not to be scoffed at even by if it sounds less exciting than other menu items. With pesto and Parmesan, it has so much rich flavor and various veggies give a lovely crunchy texture. There was a $40 open bar from 8-10pm, half off pastas, and a costume contest. When we arrived in costume, we were seated at a regular table. Confused, we went back up to the host stand and asked if we were in the area for the Halloween specials. The hostess informed us that we had not clicked the right link online to book the Halloween features, even though our reservation page said "3rd Annual Halloween Party". When asked to speak to the manager, she informed us that the issue had been happening all night with other people and that she was unable to honor our request for what we booked. We visited Kassi because it was walking distance from our hotel. The atmosphere is super beach's my, I just wish it wasn't cold in Vegas when we visited j would've definitely sat beside the pool because it was a great view. I really liked the atmosphere of Kassi's, but the food was not anything super special in my opinion. Maybe it's because we came for brunch. I did enjoy my drink that I received, and it honestly took a while for the food to come. The waiters were helpful and attentive, although it took some time for them to first acknowledge us.
