The location is near, but not in the H mart plaza in Diamond bar, conveniently down the street from the 60 FWY. Three people were working including the owner. They gave great recommendations for what to do for toes, hands, and had a wide selection of OPI and other brands. I was overwhelmed by Pinterest and told her I just wanted something "subtle but wedding day." Loved the clash ombré white with faint shimmer and single nail painted with seashells. The pedicure was pain free and my toes look great as well. Would recommend if you're anywhere nearby - the staff was sweet, friendly, and never felt pushy. Mind you, it was not busy and there was nobody else getting a manicure at this time. All manicure tables were empty. When I was getting the manicure, I thought it was a bit odd that they didn't soak my nails in water first, but that's fine. At this point I really just wanted it to be over because the vibes were not great so I left as soon as I could. When I checked my nails when I got in the car... Not cool. Dirt still under my finger nails. She didn't even clean up the nail polish off the sides of my nail. So messy! At that time, I couldn't pick a color, So she was very patient with me to help me decide. At the end I did the gel extension, I have never tried that. It turned out amazing with the Japanese gel. I made an appt via yelp, they were responsive, easy to make an appt. I texted them this morning and they had an appt for me later on in the day. There wasn't much filing, the curing light was way too hot, it burnt the shit out of my nails that I had to pull back. (And I am someone with pretty high tolerance.) Everything else was fine until I got home looking at a closer look on my mail to see a lined indent in my right thumb nail. I paid $32 + tip, but I don't see myself coming back. The other yelpers are right, there is no AC or fan and feels super stuffy. What a shame. I made an appointment through yelp and they were so fast to respond to my questions about pricing, making my appointment, and the design I wanted. The interior is beautiful- it's a very clean and chic salon with really comfy spacious chairs :) they also offer you water or apple cider so you're really being treated well from start to beginning! I also love that they offer the Japanese gel polish here (presto) because it's such good quality and lasts FOREVER! I can keep my manicure perfect for at least an entire month without chipping. WOW! This was my first experience getting Japanese gel nails and I was suuuper happy with the experience and results! After reading reviews, I knew to book an appointment with Kay. I picked out a natural pink color and it turned out beautifully. For 2-3 layers of polish, it wasn't super thick. For Japanese gel, the polish comes in a tiny pot and the manicurist paints on the polish with an actual tiny brush instead of the bottle brushes. It takes a lot of detail and diligence. I would definitely come back. The manicure lasted a good amount of time! I wish my nails didn't grow so fast so that it would have lasted longer! 2 years later and I'm still on my search for a home nail salon is SoCal. This salon doesn't have a wide variety of color. No Essie colors at all. There really isn't any customer service. Not good, not bad just no customer service beyond them doing your nails. When the tech started my pedicure she asked me if I wanted my toenail shape round of square, I said square. When she started filing I saw the nail file was slanted as opposed to filing in a straight up and down motion when you're trying to achieve a square nail shape. I reminded her I asked for square she said okay and continued to do the same thing until someone told her in another language to correct it. Now when I say square I mean SQUARE with pointed corners so sharp they tear holes in my socks. I ended up with a rounded square shape but I didn't ask her to file more because I didn't want my toes too short. When filing my big toe she was filing diagonally. I was so confused as to how she couldn't tell she was filing at a slope which would result in a crooked nail. I had to point that out too. She did really good on the buffing and cuticles though. On to the paint job. She didn't pay attention to the tip of the nail. I'm not sure how to explain this part of the nail but it's not visible unless you're looking at the nail straight ahead or if you point your foot up at a 90 degree angle. So my natural nail color is exposed there. I also got an acrylic fill. Amazing shape & she was quick. Got the color on every edge of my nail. Only thing I don't like is that she didn't clean up the bottom of my nail so there is some residue from nail filing underneath and dried acetone spots. Left with both my hands and feet dry because they didn't moisturize. I wouldn't come running back here. It's just okay. Not good enough to be my home salon. Update : I came in with a cracked nail and was assured that it would be able to be fixed. It was not fixed. The following day it is still cracked in the same place and I'm being told I have to pay for it to get replaced since the original set was not done with them. I was already charged for a fix when I came in on Saturday for a nail that was left in the same condition. Ridiculous. read more

This is the best nail salon I've been to through my entire life. I cannot say how satisfied I am with their services. I myself is an extremely picky person, and it bothers me so much with little details being ignored. The workers there are so professional and their attitudes are amazing. Another thing I love about this place is most of their product are imported from Japan, which means that they are really healthy. Unlike many other nail salon who uses cheap acrylic on its costumer, this place uses gel imported from Japan at around the same cost you would spend on an acrylic set. Oh another thing I have to mention, Sheryl, the best nail artist I've ever met. She is so patient with the costumers, and she wants her costumer to be fully satisfied with her work, which means she will get it done correctly as you would wanted it. Pros: **Unique glass paper design that's super pretty and shimmery in the light. $15 for the design for both hands. Cheryl did a fantastic job! **Clean Cons: **The gel setting machine burned me and my friend's fingers every time we put our fingers in to set the gel. When we asked if they could fix that, their solution was to say, "take it out each time it burns." I've had my nails done with gel plenty of times before, the machine itself shouldn't make you feel like your fingers are about to fry off. **The pedicurist, Vicky, also cut my friend's toes when using her tools. My friend was bleeding and her pedicurist didn't say sorry. Now, imagine putting alcohol on that cut... Tons of pain and no apology. **After we have been sitting for awhile, drying our pedicures, they asked us to leave the chairs so they can sanitize. That isn't a problem, but my friend's pedicurist, Vicky, didn't help her put her feet in her rainbows or offer her the foam slippers. The pedicurist then threw an attitude and said, "it's her fault." Walked in on a Monday night around 5, and got seated very quickly. They offer a nice variety of colors for gel, more than I've encountered anywhere else. I had a precious manicure from Amy's Nails in Chino Hills that barely lasted a week. Which wasn't applied very well. They removed the gel with a nail buffer for acrylics. Which I didn't mind because the young lady (didn't catch her name) was very thorough and paid attention to detail. Gel Nail removal is inexpensive here, at just $5. I chose an OPI Gel color, which are $28, they also offered Japanese Gels, which they have a large selection to choose from at $30-$32. I really like their techniques here. They used cuticle oil to remove the extra skin versus the traditional dipping your hands in a bowl of water. After my manicure, she wrapped my hand in a hot towel for a bit. My hands didn't get dry not did I get a lot of hangnails the day after like some places I've been. It was clean, the aesthetics were very nice and you can tell had thought put into it. The staff was nice and also extended the 10% before I could mentioned my Yelp check in. It is a little pricey, BUT you get what you pay for. Good service and a great manicure. read more

I found this place on Yelp and called in advance for an appointment to remove my gel x and get a regular gel manicure. I'm so sad I suppose I should have done more research and ask for Kay herself though unfortunately the lady that worked with me seemed new there. I can hear her asking the more experienced technician(I think it's Kay? Can't be sure) about how to remove my gel x because it was so thick. Kay showed her once on my left hand and then the technician that worked with me did my right hand and filed off way too much of my actual nails. I told her twice it was too hot and she held back but once she finished filing, I felt how sensitive they were. Once I washed my hands, I can see how thin my nails where and I can see the flesh through my barely transparent nails. I can't believe this could happen at a professional nail place I told the more experienced technician and she took over, both apologizing profusely and didn't change for my gel remover or the additional top coat she put to harden my nails but even with the 4 layers, I zipped up my pants today and I can feel my nails bend and can definitely bend the nails on my right hand just pressing on it compared to my left hand this will take about 2-3 months to grow back and again, I know they were sorry, I just still can't believe it actually happened at a professional nail salon. The total was 108 for gel x and a regular pedicure, not including tip. The only reason I knock off stars is because the salon is dirty and unorganized. They will put all their equipment on the chairs that aren't being used and it looks very messy. The chairs are cloth and we're stained...I can tell they have never been washed. The tables were not wiped off and had old nail clippings left on them. She did not use a towel under my hands while filling my nails but instead did it over a decorative pillow. I just thought that was kind of weird. Not the most sanitary place and if you are big on cleanliness i would probably avoid it here.
