Keke's Breakfast Café never disappoints! I had such a wonderful experience during my visit today. The atmosphere was upbeat, the food was delicious, and the customer service was genuinely exceptional. Angelika was my server, and she was such a sweetheart! She was attentive without being overbearing, checked on me throughout my meal, and had such a positive attitude. She made me feel like more than just another customer, and that kind of service really stands out. I also want to recognize yaanisa and Heidi at the front. They were so warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They greeted me with smiles and even held the door for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. It immediately made me feel appreciated before I even sat down! And of course, Alexis deserves her own shout out. She is always making sure everything is running smoothly and that the guests are having a great experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and genuinely cares about the restaurant. A manager who is visible, engaged, and attentive to both guests and employees makes a HUGE difference--and Alexis absolutely embodies that. It's rare to walk into a restaurant and have every interaction feel this positive. I had a terrible dining experience at this Kiki's location. To be clear, this was not our waitress's fault--she was running around waiting on 10 tables single-handedly while working as fast as she could. The issue lies entirely with the rest of the staff and management. Multiple employees were standing around on their phones, pacing the floor, and observing tables, yet not a single person stepped in to help her. Our waitress was even back in the kitchen pouring all the waters herself. We were left sitting with no water and syrup-less pancakes, and when we tried to flag down a passing staff member, we were completely ignored. The table next to us was equally frustrated while waiting endlessly for simple items like ketchup and jelly. The complete lack of teamwork was incredibly frustrating to watch. To make matters worse, the food quality was unacceptable: The bacon was burnt to the point of tasting like chips. The pancake was completely undercooked and raw in the middle. My chicken Caesar wrap was smaller than the palm of my hand. The side chips were served on a wet plate, leaving them soggy and unappetizing. Watching one employee drown while the rest of the team walked around doing nothing shows a severe failure in management. I will never return to this location. read more

Came here with the wife for breakfast/lunch. It was about a 10 minute wait, if that long. Our server was pleasant got us everything we needed. This was my first time getting the double bacon cheeseburger w/fried egg and it was a 10/10 highly recommend! My wife got the cinnamon apple waffle which looked amazing as well. Came here for breakfast with the family. Everyone was super friendly. The service was great. Our 1st cup of coffee was strong, but the second one was a little watered down. We tried the pumpkin spice stuff French toast and it was OK. There was a little too much cinnamon in there. Also, the French toast was great, but it was way over cinnamoned. Frequently when we are celebrating and special occasion or have guests from out of town, we go to Keke's for brunch. I have visited several different locations but this is my local spot. I love, love, love their omelets! They are so big I always have enough for breakfast the next day. Severs at this location are very attentive and constantly refill your drinks. There is a shared parking lot so parking can be an issue when they're super busy. read more

KeKe's Breakfast Cafe in Apopka, Florida is located on the corner of a small shopping center off of Semoran Boulevard. The prices were very affordable. The service I received was fast, friendly, and accurate. I was impressed with my waitress, considering she had a lot of tables to attend to. The interior of the restaurant was clean, well lit, and had a family friendly vibe. The only downside was that it was slightly small. I think they would definitely benefit from a larger space and more tables. This is because people continued to enter and request tables as I was there, but unfortunately, they just didn't have the space. I think it is probably common during busy weekend mornings. The pancakes were delicious! I will definitely be back to try more of the breakfast menu, and I highly recommend giving KeKe's a try. read more

Once upon a time, it seemed that greasy spoon diners or luncheonettes were pretty much the only option if you wanted to go grab breakfast. Now with places like Keke's Breakfast Cafe and First Watch, you have better options if you are seeking to eat out for the first meal of the day (and what I was told since grade school was the most important meal of the day). Keke's Breakfast Cafe is a hometown creation, having started here in Orlando, Florida back in 2006 by brothers Keith and Kevin Mahen. Back then it had the more straightforward name of the Florida Waffle Shop. This location was on Conroy Road and when the brothers started eying the horizon of expansion, they went with the name Keke's (which was a combination of both of their names) both because the name was perceived as more catchy and also because they could not obtain a trademark for the business name Florida Waffle Shop. From that humble beginning of one location, Keke's has grown to over forty locations here in Florida. The reason they have not expanded beyond the Sunshine State yet is that they have not saturated the market yet. The menu at Keke's Breakfast Cafe is filled with the usual breakfast favorites like waffles, omelets,eggs benedict and more. They also have a lunch menu, but I have only tried their breakfast offerings. All in all, my breakfast here was an overall winner. The food was very good, the ambiance was a great alternative to the standard greasy spoon breakfast joint with cheap chairs and chipped tables and my server was friendly, attentive and professional. It's been a while since I've been to Keke's, so I opted to come here for breakfast while in Orlando. We arrived as soon as they opened and for 7am. Our server was ready to go... and so we're we! We got our drink and food order placed within the first 10 minutes. The food was good. I got the FL pancakes with home fries and turkey sausage. When I'm done get the pancakes because they are always good and very filling. As for the ambiance, every Keke's looks the same so I won't speak too much on it; bright yellow lighting, brown and yellow color way. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

The best part of the whole experience was the staff. Noreen and Lisa are rock stars. They made us feel like we were family. From the warm welcoming to the humourous conversation, I can't recommend them and this place enough! This is our new favorite spot and we will be telling everyone about our experience. This was my first time visiting this location. We came in early before the Sunday rush. We were immediately seated in a booth per our request and our drink orders were taken right away. I wanted a coffee. They had two choices. Iced or hot coffee. I opted for iced coffee. Our waiter informed us we could have hazelnut, French vanilla, or regular half and half cream. We chose French vanilla. To my dismay, the coffee came out in a regular water glass with little plastic creamer containers on the side and sugar packets. For the almost $3 price tag, I was expecting it to come already mixed up with maybe some whipped cream on the top. We both ordered eggs Benedict with home fries. They were cooked inconsistently. Mine was a tag underdone and my guest's was a little overdone. The hollandaise sauce was a little tangy as well. Regardless, we did eat the eggs benny. We were starving! Homefries were tasty. I liked that they were made with red bliss potatoes. We also ordered 4 sausage links $3.99 on the side. They were good but I like my sausage links a little more well done. The manager did come by and check on us more than once. Our server did as well. So we were very well taken care of. My 3 stars are for service. Visited here with my friend and her friends. First time in and I was REALLY happy with the quality of the food. I wasn't terribly hungry so I ordered off their sides Menu and got a Breakfast salad (Yogurt, Granola, Strawberries, Blueberries and banana topped with a bit of honey) And loaded Home fries. What I received was DELICIOUS. I am now making the breakfast salad at home. The coffee was delicious and my cup never went empty. I have been to this breakfast chain a few times but at another location. This Apopka location is fairly new to the area and we were hoping with an 11am arrival the word was not quite out about this new spot. No chance! We were told it would be 45 mins to be seated. We decided to wait because the food is good based on our past experience. To our delight, we were seated in 20 mins. I was dining with my daughters and we felt the staff did a good job of handling a big crowd. The staff was friendly and attentive. We received our food quickly but we did not feel rushed as we dined. I had the Greek omelet made with spinach, tomatoes and feta cheese. I tasted the bacon, tomatoe and cheese omelet my middle daughter ordered. Yummy! This is restaurant is like IHOP on steroids. I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side order of pancakes was prepared perfectly. My wife ordered a omelette with lots of stuff in it and was very large and tasty. You definitely cannot go wrong eating here. I couldn't justify the bill at the end. The service was ok, nothing to brag about, but I don't get the hype of this place. I think it's the newer generation thinking this is the place to be because of the price when the food taste and looks exactly the same but less portion of a Denny's... I can't do this again. The ends don't justify the means of cost. I just hope the employees are getting the excess cost in food prices. My wife gets the same thing at iHop and Prefers it over Keke's. Not impressed. Literally I love cooking, but sometimes (weekends usually Saturday) I don't want to cook. However, although the food is good, it aint better than nor worse than (except portions and price points) the 4 above mentioned Diners. Hence the lack of food descriptions in this post. Came here with the family for a Sunday breakfast. We had to wait around 15 min to be seated in a booth. The waitress was very courtesy and brought out our drinks really quickly. The kids also got to play with wikki stix, while waiting for the food. I had a great mushroom omelette, that was very good. Also enough food food to take home. My husband and daughter booth had waffles and while my husbands banana pecan waffle was great, my daughters plain waffle was quite dry and dense. Not so fluffy. My son had chicken strips with fries (go figure) and he finished his plate. All in all it was an enjoyable breakfast and we will be back, if we don't feel like giving something new a try. read more

Visited the Apopka location for breakfast and just like other places there's a wait on Sundays after 10am. I asked if I could have a cup of coffee while waiting and the hostess was nice enough to provide me a cup, so at that moment I didn't care if I had to wait since I have my coffee I had their French toast apple cinnamon on top with eggs and sausage links. My husband had the three meat omelet with home fries. We both enjoyed our meal except we were seating next to a loud couple that were talking and laughing so loud non stop. I don't mind when people is enjoying their time but not like this. They thought they were the only people around! Anyway, I'm not reviewing them so enough about them! They seem to have plenty of staff but they were a bit slow. It took awhile for our food to come out.
