One of the worst breakfast experiences of my life. Bland food and terrible service. My server was Noelle. She was the worst. Attitude sucked and she was very forgetful. Now on to the more. I ordered the south west omelet which came with home fries. It was extremely under seasoned, the eggs remained me of a sponge and the home fries were basically raw. Went in a couple days ago the place is nice the only bad thing I could say was the service. I didn't get to see my waitress for majority of the time and there were only a few tables. The food was alright, I got a chicken wrap but the order wasn't correct, I wanted fried chicken but got grilled instead. I didn't really care so I just ate it, it wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best. Ranch comes inside it too ! 12/27/2019 There were five of us about 11:30 a.m. We were sat right away, and the waitress took our beverage order. Two of us ordered omelets, two ordered a waffle combo which included eggs and the other person oredered three eggs over easy with a side of bacon. Waited awhile and the waitress brought out the two waffle orders, then next trip the two omelet plates and the the eggs that came with the waffles and the side of bacon. Everything looked delicious and tasted good, EXCEPT the easiest item to prepare the three eggs did not come, the server came by saying should be any time... still waiting...she came by again saying soon...by now everyone else is finishing their meal, still no eggs and then the manager came by making some lame excuse with an apology about the eggs...he said he'd remove that from the bill and then asks if that person if they still wanted the eggs and I said well they are still hungry, yes! So the eggs finally came out! And we all sat and watched the person eat alone. When we got the check, the manager had removed the price for the eggs, but did not remove the price for the bacon which came out 25 minutes earlier, when the rest of us got our food. (we had asked the waitress what actually happened, she indicated the cook was did not complete Filling our order and when she kept asking he just moved on to other orders. She had asked the manager to speak to the cook). I do not believe anyone in our party will eat there again! read more

Would give a ZERO... Not a good first impression. First time there and got a to-go. After sitting for 20 minutes, I get up and ask if it normally takes this long. Response was 'no ma'am.' Mind you the place was less than half full... So why did they just let me sit instead of checking? Waited another 5-10 minutes while 'they were getting it together.' The server who took my order couldn't care less. No concept of customer service. The presentation is obviously a thing for them but they need to focus more on the actual taste of the food. I got a fajita omelet that was mediocre at best. I usually give places three tries before making the decision to not go back but I will not be going back here. I absolutely love this place on a normal day. HOWEVER, we got here at noon. We were told there would be a 20 minute wait. We were finally sat after 45 minutes (with no explanation for the delay given). Once we were sat, we got our drinks quickly and then our order was taken. We've now waited at our table for another 45 minutes. Still no food. Once it arrived (at 50 minutes) it was wrong. The cooks in the back (we were sitting close to kitchen) were yelling and loudly criticizing with waitstaff and each other. We haven't been here since before Covid-19 and I don't see us coming back. Other than the food, there isn't much redeeming about this place that makes it work coming back for. So sad, because before, it checked all the boxes for me. read more

My wife and I tried Keke's Breakfast Cafe, at lunch, for the first time yesterday, and came away less than impressed. The place was half empty, but were told it would be a couple of minutes before we were seated. To start, the server breezed by us, after we sat, with a "be right back" comment. Five minutes later, she comes back. We ordered iced tea and coffee, which she brought in a timely fashion. We ordered a vegetable wrap and a portobello panino. For the next 25 minutes we waited, with no sign of our server, except at one point we had to flag down the manager to ask for drink refills, but didn't mention the wait yet. The server brought our drinks and then disappeared again. Finally, the food arrived. The panino was excellent. The vegetable wrap was mediocre at best. They used veggies diced small like one uses in an omelet, which mostly fell out as It was eaten. As we're eating, the server asks if we'd like drink refills and then forgot to bring them until reminded (no, Oh I'm sorry, just ok I'll get them.) Bottom line, One good meal, one poor meal and bad service. We'll give them a try for breakfast and see if it's better. read more

Newly opened so service was understandably sub-par. Seated and abandoned for about 15 minutes until we stood up and approached one of the waiters. A few minutes later we were approached by our assigned waiter and told he was busy and would be back soon. He came back a little later and took our order. We were given water and coffee and were served about 15 minutes later. The pancakes are plate sized and firm, not cake-like. Scrambled eggs and ham steak were adequate but nothing special. Again, we had to flag someone down in order to get coffee refills. For the prices I expected better. Sort of underwhelmed. Restaurant was quite busy but maybe this is the new bright object syndrome. Ordered a ham and cheese omelet and included were home fries and English muffin. Omelette comes with ham sprinkled over top but couldn't find any inside. Home fries were greasy and soggy. Same with English muffin, soggy. And had to dig deep to find the warm areas on anything. Staff have obviously been trained to make sure you are offered coffee refills. Maybe to make up for a somewhat slow kitchen. Did have a manager stop by. Told her one of my criteria for a good restaurant in Florida was whether they had orange marmalade on the table. They don't. She said it was a corporate decision not to and they also, corporate decision, did not have grits. Also I'm not a fan of booths. They have a sign at entrance saying they are an all both restaurant so if you have a larger party you will have to be split up. Believe there are better choices for breakfast in Ocala. read more

Been here a few times and 2/3 times have been very subpar. I understand that they're a new business but when we're seated right next to the host stand and can literally hear our assigned waitress tell the host to find a different server because she's not serving us was kinda rude when we literally were just sat and it's not like we had done anything. Took them about 15 minutes to find someone else to come take our order. Second time we went, our waitress was attentive but we were one of the only few people in there so that's understandable. Food was wonderful, gave us hope. Third time we went, we were given dirty plates that didn't match anything we ordered so we were grossed out by that and informed the manager to which she defended the kitchen and said that they clean their plates (obviously not). Keke's is a decent restaurant. Went there for the first time. They were busy, but the service was good. I had the Greek Omelette, which was good. Plenty of feta cheese in it. My wife had the eggs Benedict, which she did not care for. She didn't like the Hollandaise sauce. Perkins has better eggs Benedict. The home fries were okay, but could have been cooked a bit longer. We will try it again and try other items. In our opinion, IHOP is better. read more

100% waste of time, I literally would not recommend it to a freaking corpse. I ordered their scrambler bowl, a side order of bacon, the banana nut waffle and the egg and cheese omelette. - Egg and cheese omelet was bland, I'm talking wet rubber bland. Took two bites and placed to the side. - Never received my scrambler bowl with house fries and side order of bacon instead I got what looks like potato slices and about 2 eggs cooked about 2/3rds of the way. - Banana nut waffle was a joke, menu was misleading because it says the waffle is cooked with the items but when received it was just a basic waffle with the items placed on top. Waffle was still bland, if they were trying to infuse it with the flavors they should have let cook for at least an additional 3-4 minutes. - Result, I took most of the items as take out, went home added salt and pepper to pretty much everything, put it back on the fire so that is was actually cooked through and then it became edible. Order ran me $43.83 and they took about 15 minutes to prepare, or that's what they told me at least. In actuality I believe they slapped it on a stove for about 4-6 minutes that's the only way the eggs could come out that pale and flavorless. Please don't waste your time and money, go elsewhere, try Waffle House or IHOP. This place is unreasonable and unsatisfactory. read more

Save your time. Food is pretty good but the service ruins it. My child's food came out 20 minutes after everyone else's, and i had to ask for it. Waitress didn't stop by once to check on us, i needed several condiments, straws, and napkins, but my food got cold before i got anything.
