Well I'm going to make this short and clear. Don't eat here! I ordered half and half (Chow Mein and fried rice) thinking they wouldn't count it as a side ans they did. The spicy chicken has more fat than chicken. The shrimp has more shell than the actual shrimp and the shrimp have the poop inside. You know how you read the other reviews and you wonder either those people have bad taste buds or something!! Maybe the place had a one heck of a off day. All I can say is that this place is a fraud. The food is. The people that work here seem nice though. But the food... oh my.... Presentation is good. The smell also is great. You walk past this place and can't help but to stop. They also have a person giving you free samples of their "World Famous Bourbon Chicken" Their words not mines. No way it is world famous either but we will get to that. I tried it out, and though it was a bit chewy, I thought it had a nice flavor. Plus, I looked up and saw a picture of their Cajun Shrimp. It looked really good. I checked Yelp reviews (something I do now before I eat at places) And saw alot of people suggesting the Bourbon Chicken, Cajun Potatoes and the Spicy Rice. I didn't want to get what everyone else obviously got, so I decided to get the Spicy Chicken instead. (came with Jalapenos). There was no Spicy rice, only Fried Rice and I think Steamed Rice? I decided to get the Cajun Potatoes and since the Cajun Shrimp looked so good I picked that up too. It was the Chicken and Seafood plate. It looked and smell good. The shrimp actually looked better in person then the picture. I got a diet coke (only diet drink there besides water) and I was ready to chow down!!! The food temperature was very hot. It was a pleasant suprise because usually food under a heat lamp is hit or miss if it is hot or not. I took a bite of the Chicken and noticed it was very chewy. Took another bite and got meat and fat. I noticed while eating that there was a lot of fat mixed in with Chicken. In some cases there was just coated fat no meat. This was indeed gross to me, but compared to the shrimp this wasn't that bad. If you know shrimp... And I mean really really know shrimp. Especially if you have actually cooked it, you know that shrimp has a vein that needs to be cleaned.* Not only that the.. you know what. I can't even finish without explaining the whole vein thing...!!!??? Shrimp Note* The vein of the shrimp is the intestines. It is the little dark line that runs underneath the shrimp. If this is not clean then you are pretty much eating the poop of the shrimp. If the shrimp is big enough it isn't too hard to clean it. Just take a knife (even a butter knife will do) Cut where the vein is and it will usually come out. Wash it and you are done. I know this place is in the food court but come on! You have to clean the shrimp!! Sometimes when you get the really small shrimp it isn't unusal for those not to be clean... it is a pain. I have done it and it takes all day. But if you are at an establishment I get it. The smaller ones. But they don't sell the smaller ones here. Not to mention.... End Shrimp Note* Another travesty done to the shrimp is that the seasoning is placed on the shrimp without the shell being removed. The seasoning is awesome, but doesn't matter because they didn't take the shell off. They managed to take the legs off the shrimp which is strange. You took the time to take off the legs but not clean the darn shrimp!!! Plus you left the shell on it. Hard to tell first off because the Cajun coating is so thick you don't notice until you put it in your mouth. Keeping on the shell is pretty much like eating the tail of the shrimp. Most people don't do that. At first I thought I got a bad one. The second one I am like ok?? The third I finally realized that they didn't clean or remove the shell.... yuck!! After eating the Cajun Potatoes which were good. But was hard to notice with the sour taste in my mouth of how they prepare their shrimp. I took it back to the counter and the very nice lady allowed me to exchange it for their "World Famous Bourbon Chicken"!!!! I told her to take the shrimp I didn't want it. She said she didn't want it and made a joke about what would she do with it. She later came back though and said because of the camera she had to take it. I told her please, please take it!! Anyway because she was so nice I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. People that really love their chicken must love eating cooked fat. I will mention that the little bit of vegetables that was part of the spicy chicken had a nice crunch to them. I actually went here before my Movie and ended up eating alot of popcorn because my hunger wasn't satisfied. Could it have been a off day? Well no, it wasn't a service thing. Fuckin' Ontario Mills, what am I doing here anyway?! You're always so crowded and it's as if your air conditioning never goes lower than 75. So yea, there's a food court here and its got all the usual favorites, but this place seems to be ignored by most visitors. It's the kind of place that tries to hand out free samples on toothpicks, but everyone just walks by and ignores the crap out of the employees. They all give that "you gotta be kidding me. I ain't never gonna try that chicken" look. Still, Cajun grill is up there with the likes of Panda Express and Hot Dog on a Stick for places I know will at least satisfy my hunger. Its probably the only reason I come to Ontario Mills in the first place, that and the talking doors that tell you what entrance you're walking through so you don't forget where to get out. Yes, because some people are that stupid. If you come here, get the combo and choose the spicy rice, bourbon chicken, and Cajun potatoes. You'll probably be surprised how flavorful the food actually is. Its spicy, its sweet, its tangy, holy crap, its actually good. The day this place dies, it will take Ontario Mills with it. The gist... High points: Good food and free samples. So act like you've never been there, grab a sample, and say "Holy shit! Gimme a combo" and bam, have a good day. I normally love going here when I come to Ontario Mills but today, the customer service absolute DOG DOOTIE! The first gentleman was nice and greeted me and asked what I would like to order but the girl that "helped" me after was extremely rude, didn't ask if there was anything else I would like, and when I asked for a couple of sides of bourbon sauce she gave me a dirty look. Her makeup that she CAKED on her face definitely couldn't hide that! Too bad they don't wear name tags so I couldn't get a name. The food is really good. The Kelly's Cajun Grill hooks it up always. They really give big portions and you can leftovers and overall they give you a lot of food. The Kelly's Cajun Grill always treats their customers with respect and really care about people eating good. I recommend this place because their food good sometimes it's hot n ready and sometimes it's sat there for too long but it's worth it. For the price very reasonable it always get crowded but it's worth the wait for the order and eating. read more

The food is ok but i felt cheated on about the promo. They offer a discounted chicken meal plate if you buy a a regular meal plate. The serving is way small compared to a regular meal plate. They have a way of doing it so you wouldn't notice. They will switch you or serve you ahead of someone in front of you and close the lid quickly so you wouldn't be able to compare at point of sale. What they probably didn't care about is that their customer will notice, especially if you are eating with someone who bought a non-promo chicken meal plate. After being undecided about what to have for lunch the other day I decided to try this place. I had a bowl with steamed rice, bourbon chicken, and veggies. My food was okay, i didnt like the veggies since they had a weird flavor. But the bourbon chicken was really good (and probably the only reason for the 3 stars). Now the main reason for the bad review is that the girl that charged me was pretty rude. Not only was she rude but after I paid with my debit card I had to ask for my receipt. I happened to check my receipt before I walked away it turns out that she charged me for 2 bowls instead of 1!!! She overcharged me and it didn't seem like an accident. It would have been easy to miss if I hadn't asked for my receipt and with the food court as busy as it was I can see it happening often. BUYER BEWARE!!!! read more

The best bourbon chicken, fried rice, noodles, steamed veggies and shrimp. Forget your go to chinese place , kellys gril is very delicious, it never disappoints. The food is not creasy. Me and the hubby once in a while drive from chino to ontario mills just for the food when were craving chinese/thai chicken. My siblings and I were at the Mills on one the most crowded days, possibly Black Friday or day after Christmas. We got to the food court and almost everything was packed. Burger King, Cinnabon, Jody's, Sbarro, and this sandwich place. You couldn't help but notice that there was a big empty space in the middle where Kelly's and the bagel place were. My sister decided to be adventurous and headed for Kelly's. My brother and I headed for the bagel place. Big mistake. I had some of her food, and basically gave mine to my brother and headed for Kelly's. My favorite combo is the bourbon chicken, with cajun potatoes, and spicy fried rice. The bourbon chicken tastes a bit like teriyaki chicken in that it's a bit sweet. It has a smokier flavor than teriyaki chicken, though. Although it's the main dish, it complements the other two side dishes very well. The cajun potatoes are delicious! They're pretty spicy, especially with the spicy fried rice. I've been back a couple times and sometimes the food gets very dry if it's been out for awhile. I would say this place is pretty special. Especially since it's in a mall. read more

The young girl that helped me was super friendly but frankly put..... the food itself is bland. The chicken tastes good but it was mostly charred fat. I did order a side of the lemon pepper chicken and that way WAY better than the bourbon chicken. The chow me in noodles were standard nothing wow. But my biggest complaint is the "red beans and rice"... they severely lacked in flavor and were very dry for traditional cajun style red beans and rice. This place reminds me of when my family would take go down the hill to Ontario Mills. It was usually so my sister and I could go prom dress shopping with my mom while my dad wandered around the mall aimlessly for hours till we made our final choices. Little trooper. We always ate at the food court in the Mills and I always got the bourbon chicken bowl. I went back recently with my sister for some shopping and girl time and it's just as tasty as I remember. I like the bourbon chicken bowl with white rice and a drink. The sauce they put on top is soooo yummy. I usually ask for a little extra so the rice gets a little sauce lovin' too. The chicken is real meat ( sadly, I feel like that's hard to find nowadays). I have never finished the bowl either; it's quite large. The only complaint I have about Kelly's is that it's a bit high in price. The bowl and the drink come out to almost $9. It's a bit pricy but I think it's worth getting if I'm at Ontario Mills. read more

Been coming here for years, and I've always enjoyed it. I'd like to see a vegetarian option such as bourbon tofu.

This place is decent for food court fast food. The prices aren't bad and they have good portions. I suggest you stick with their classic bourbon chicken, I've had their other offerings and the bourbon chicken is the by far the best. Give it a try if you aren't sure what to have next time you're in the food court. read more

I like their potato too but it's almost the same price as a whole bowl of New Orleans Beef noodle soup. 2 people normally be around $15 while being super full. I eat here every time I'm shopping at Ontario Mills it's my favorite restaurant. I love their bourbon chicken, fried rice, peppered chicken, cajun potatoes, chow main and shrimp. The food taste very fresh. The shrimp isn't cleaned up since the skin and tail aren't removed so it will get messy, but it has a delicious taste. I haven't tried the fish, so next time I'll try it. Not all staff are nice, but the service it's very fast so, I'll only talk very briefly. read more

The bourbon chicken seems to be the most popular item on the menu most likely because they offer a second plate for half off. Since it is the most popular item you're sure to get fresh hot chicken. Tried the noodles and I don't really like them, too thick, too soft and lacking flavor. I usually buy the veggies but they too need a little something something, I suggest garlic. The few times we've eaten there we've been helped by the same employee, she seemed a bit irritated and bothered at my request for fresh noodles this last visit, got an eye roll and a sigh! I think the food here is decent. We get it once in awhile when we go to Ontario Mills. Usually I get the noodles, which are pretty good, and the bourbon chicken. Sometimes it has a lot of liquid in the bottom and the rice or noodle will be soggy. Not great for the texture. The prices are moderate, and you get a good amount of food. But today, when I was paying the lady at the cash register she gave me a lot of attitude for no reason. She was demanding my card from me and continue to give me attitude.
