I appreciated the energy in this place as it made it feel like we were on a "real vacation". We did not have reservations and just walked in and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table on a Saturday night. The place is pretty big and has an outdoor sorta vibe which reminded me of a lot of places you see in Maui. I saw a lot of local people leaving this place in addition to tourists so that to me was a good sign of things. My wife got the fresh fish duo which came with a swordfish and ono. They both were moist and not dry with unique flavors local to the islands. Nothing was overly sweet which we appreciated because we tend to avoid sweet foods. I asked for the "rarest prime rib that you have" and was not dissapointed at all. I only ordered the 12oz cut and was worried it wouldn't be enough meat as they offer a larger version (for a lot more). Luckily when it came out, it was plenty of meat, and of course, rare. Salted and seasoned perfectly it really hit the spot after a long day of hiking. The servers, hostess, and staff all were very welcoming and polite. No issues at all. We had an early dinner with no reservation. Luckily, we were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. Cocktails seem to be really good here but didn't feel like drinking. Apparently, they're famous for their Mai Tai's since almost every table ordered them. They were coming out of the bar like hot bread. We ordered the risotto, the panko and mac nut fish, and cheeseburger for the little one. The fish portion was a little on the smaller end and the type of white fish (didn't ask what it was) was not as flakey as I like. The seafood risotto was the star of the show. Every bite, even without any seafood in it, was packed and full of flavor. I would highly recommend getting it. To end our dinner, we shared a hula pie. It was plenty for two adults and a child. A favorite we keep coming back to. If you are looking for fun tropical ambience and delish eats this is the place to be. It wasn't too crowded earlier on a weeknight but reservations are generally recommended as it does fill up. The bar was quite full with people grabbing drinks and small bites. There was nice background music and the ambiance is top notch. The guava daquiri is delightfully tart and tasty, we enjoyed that their drinks in general were a little less sweet than that average ones in Hawaii. One of the best restaurants here in Kauai Poipu beach. It was a very busy night and waited for 30 min to get a table. The customers are mostly tourists. I ordered Keoki Hawaiian fish and it was delicious, it came with mashed sweet purple potato and bokchoy. Hubby ordered a steak and it came with risotto and grilled Brussel sprouts. They were delicious and cooked the steak perfectly. The Hula pie was good and , it was frozen hard so we waited till it got softer. The hubs and I enjoyed several fun afternoons and evenings at Keoki's! Super convenient to the nearby Sheraton Resort, it's just a short walk to get to Keoki's in the Poipu Shopping Center. The bar tenders were great though and so were the hostesses!! My husband ordered the prime rib with red mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was a large portion of meat. It did take quite a while to come out of the kitchen. It could have been served a bit warmer. It wasn't cold or anything, but when you are paying $50 for a plate, it should come out hot. Still, he loved all of it! He gave his meal a 5. For myself, I ordered the Panko & Mac Nut Crusted Sword fish with a lemon, caper sauce, served with with herbed rice pilaf and carrots. The fish was fresh...yet a small piece. It was really good, but again it would have been so much better if it came out hot. The carrots lacked flavor and the rice was ok. I gave my meal a 3. Keoki's paradise was absolutely terrific! The ambience is very lively and welcoming, and the open air dining is so unique with the amazing weather and nice humidity in Hawaii! The service was extremely pleasant and friendly as well and the food was outstanding! My personal favorite was the mocktails, because they were so cute and went really well with our meal. When we finally got the prime rib (took way too long to get the main course out) it was good. Nice side of mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. Keakia Paradise is a hidden gem with a relaxed vibe and some seriously flavorful food. I stopped in and ordered the rib appetizer and the kale salad -- both were great in their own way. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with a sweet-savory glaze that hit just right. Honestly could've made a full meal out of those alone. Booked a reservation after walking past on our way back to hotel. Seated immediately but I will say the choice of chairs was not my favorite. Most chairs had a cushion these were the wooden ones. Our server was prompt and helpful. Ended up ordering from the chefs menu which is available 4-5pm. It is slightly smaller portions. Includes a salad and entree for $32. The Ceasar was ok. The kale was good but I would suggest they massage the kale as the first step before servings it was a bit tough. The panko Mac crusted swordfish was good. We got kinda between lunch and dinner and although we were thinking dinner, they were still serving lunch. WOW! We absolutely loved this spot! The restaurant is gorgeous with all of the plants, flowers, and waterfalls that they have. It feels like you are eating in the middle of the jungle with how many plants are around you. The food and drink was amazing as well. My wife and I shared the Mai Tai and it was phenomenal. The drink was well worth the $17. The slice of lime and pineapple as a garnish was beautiful, and putting them in the drink only made it taste better. She ordered the "Keoki's Style" which is their fish in a garlic, lemon, basil glaze. She got the Ono as her selection of fish and loved it. The Ono was extremely flakey and well cooked. I ordered the cheddar burger, a simple burger with great flavor. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and was very filling. Extremely great value for the price as well. For dessert, the restaurant gave us a free celebratory slice of their Original Hula Pie as we are on our honeymoon. It is less of a pie and more of an ice cream cake, yet it is delicious. The ice cream is macadamia nut topped with fudge, whipped cream, and a few more macadamia nuts. We both really enjoyed it, and it was 100% worth sharing as the slice is huge. read more

We were looking for a quick late lunch early dinner location that per a search served the best Mai Tai's in Kaloa. There is ample parking as this is in a strip mall. It was very easy to find. Upon arrival we were met by the hostess, who quickly seated us. It is an open air environment, like many of the restaurants in Hawaii with a view of their garden, which quickly made you forget you were in a strip mall. Our server took our drink order and food order both of which arrived quickly. The handcrafted nachos stole the show, they were very good and evenly covered with the ingredients. The only inconsistency was the pork some was dry white other was moist, but still full of flavor. The prime rib sandwich was very good. I would recommend trying this location if you're in Kaloa. read more

This place is so incredibly beautiful and welcoming! We were celebrating our babymoon and even had a congratulations card placed on our table! How sweet even though I forgot it lol. We decided on the chefs tasting menu as I'm at the point where I can't eat a lot but boy did I finish everything!!! I got the calamari for starters which was a decent serving and the calamari was THICK! Really delicious side sauce too. I also got the ribs for my main which were soft and sweet and just really easy to devour! He got the kalua fries which lasted about 5 mins. This portion was a lot bigger and more filling which was good for him. He also got the chicken which was Asian inspired and juicy! We also got the onion soup as well to try extra, it was the best onion soup I've ever had! The flavor was there dude!!!! It was absolutely delicious. There was entertainment at around 4:30 when we arrived then at 5:30 a wonderful singer came on and sung his heart out.
