I regret purchasing our engagement ring from this location. The manager and employees continuously boast on how much experience they have in jewelry yet they can't seem to answer or resolve our issue regarding our ring sizing. When we are in the store the ring feels fine but once we leave its loosely spinning around the finger to the point that it will just slide off. We've come at least three times and they're more focused on charging us and/or selling us insurance than they are listening to the issue and offering a solution. I understand that hot and cold temperatures affect the size of your ring but not a whole size where it's literally going to just fall off. I should've just gone to Kay jewelers because not only was their customer service and knowledge amazing but they offer LIFETIME insurance for $200 which includes the stone vs. Kevin Jeweler's 5 yr insurance for $349 but don't cover the stone. We were so excited for the ring but extremely disappointed with the lack of service and comfort that this location has provided. I guess we're stuck using a ring adjuster which is not so comfortable or appealing. read more

My husband purchased his wedding band here in September 2018 and at that time we were told that he has 1 free resize in case the band didn't fit. Well, the order comes in and the band didn't fit. We were close to our wedding date which was October and we used the ring. My husband went back today to have the ring resized and he was told that because the band is titanium it cannot be resized and he was told he can buy a new one. I'm so heartbroken. My boyfriend and I have had multiple issues at the montebello Kevin jewelers. We have since taken our business elsewhere. We want nothing to do with this location which commits fraud and theft! HOWEVER, today, the sales associate by the name of Jackie sent us an email in regards to a recent transaction. We have not been to this horribly run location so it is impossible that we made a purchase here. We do not feel comfortable with this company having any of our information. My rating is for the quality of their items, we purchased an engagement ring one month later it broke so I had to take it back to get it repaired, they told me it broke because the person who resized my ring probably didn't do a great job.( i got it resized with them) I came back out with a few other items, it has been a week and my chain broke ! I normally don't post about business but this needs to be said. I was at Kevin Jewelers at the Montebello Town Center this weekend. I saw a woman with what appeared to be a disabled man taking advantage of him financially, SHE was shopping for very expensive jewelry and was applying for credit on his behalf. The worse part is that the store manager could see his man wasn't able to answer the questions when applying for credit . It was clear that the woman was responding to the manager's questions and its shameful that a person and that a business didn't care if the man was able to make a financial decision on his own! I had to leave before I lost my cool but when the credit was approved and the woman bought a Rolex with the man's credit I couldn't stand to be in this type of business. They resized my ring but left it all yellow and discolored the day after I got it! When I complained, they claimed nothing could be done about it. Since they were recommended by the seller, I believed them. Fast forward, three years later (today) I needed to fix a loose diamond and came here. They not only fixed the diamond, they replated my ring with rhodium and corrected the discoloration. Basically, did what the other jeweler claimed couldn't be done. I was so impressed! 5 stars! I had originally given this store a 5 stars but if I could I wouldn't give them any. After I was approved for credit, I took some earrings out and was on my marry way. Then today I notice my credit score went down and saw that they did 3 hard inquiries into my credit. I understand one but 3 really WTF !!
