They want $10000 for same car and $5000 down. Super poor communication, had to keeep reaching out the them to move process forward, they delayed, called the next day and no call back, texted and got that they want a 50% down on the car and that it's a cash sale car , like pulling teeth to get communication from their internet manager. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP! They leased me a Hyundai Ioniq5 a month ago. I wanted a black and black one and they had one in stock but with a steering wheel that had the threading coming apart. They said if I took it they would fix the steering wheel when the part came in. Naturally, I asked how long that would be. The salesman said around two weeks. So I waited two weeks and heard nothing. So I called four times between two weeks and four weeks and heard no response. Finally I got a call and a different salesman said it would be three to four months. Then he said he normally only leases cars AS IS. I said "well, you didn't." I would have waited to get the right color but they were so eager they made a promise they couldn't keep. A few hours later I got a call from the service department telling me that the steering wheel is on national back order. Which means he has no idea if/when the part will come in. It also tells me that neither salesman actually checked to see about the part before giving me time frames. That's just awful service. Make a sale fast. Who cares about the collateral damage. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE COMING. This has been the worst service ever. I drop my car off on 6/10 for service, and was told by Donovan to wait for his phone call to get the scope of the repairs needed. The rest of Tuesday passed and Wednesday so I had to call multiple times on Thursday to get a hold of Donovan, who then told me he would speak to the mechanic and get back to me later in the day--that never happened. Not even an update saying "hey the mechanic is busy and wasn't able to see your car". I tried to call Friday AND Saturday multiple times to get an answer, my girlfriend and I both called separately on multiple occasions on Sunday. Monday rolls around and I have to play phone tag again by calling sales to get to services after services doesn't pick up, and he finds find Donovan, who couldn't even return my call but rather text me about the current situation. The parts were on back order and couldn't be ordered by myself to expedite the repairs needed according to the text messages and the repairs would only take a couple hours, so bring it in. I bring the parts in after they arrive this past Wednesday (6/18) for them to tell me the car still wouldn't be ready until 3:00PM on Friday day. I opted to just tow my car elsewhere instead of being overcharged $230. Save your money, they'll give you the run around. Do not go here to get your car serviced. I asked the service manager Raymond Perez to get my oil checked.I told him that my car stopped twice in the middle of the road because my oil ran out (which wasn't supposed to happen since I recently brought it in for an oil change 4 months ago). My car stopped in the middle of the road twice, which could've possibly caused an accident for me. And I was informing him about all my concerns about this and all he did was give me attitude and was very dismissive. He guaranteed that he was going to get the oil diagnosed and see what's happening with my car. He included that into his list of items to be done that he added into his iPad. He said it was going to cost me $214 which was fine with me since it was urgent for me to get it fixed. This was on 02/03/24. My parents picked up the car on Monday on 02/05/24 as I get off work late and my dad noticed that they didn't charge me for the particular service to see how much oil my car was burning. Came back on 02/10/2024 and they told me that I would have to call that particular service manager again on Monday and ask him why he didn't check my oil. They told me I would have to wait till my next oil change (which is in 5 months) to get this fixed. This is incredibly frustrating as this is a safety issue for me. My car doesn't show when it's low on gas and it can stop randomly in the middle of the road. I really hope that service manager is taken accountable for this issue since this is a really big issue that can cause my engine to get damaged. Plus if it's damaged then I will have to pay for the costs because they didn't do their job properly the first time. Plus he charged me for synthetic oil when I asked for regular oil. And I pay for my oil change yet he charged me for that too. So clearly either this guy wasn't trained properly and he just wasn't listening to me. Amazing! I had an issue with my Kona not charging and drove in with 20 miles left. Yikes! Cassandra checked me in without an appointment. Thought I was going to have to come back in 48 hours. Nope! They called as I was in the Lyft, just driving out of the lot and said "Come back! We fixed it!" The Service Manager, Len, could not have been nicer. Found the problem quickly and corrected it. Walked into Hyundai Van Nuys with no intention of purchasing a car. It was just to look and see the new inventory. Right from the start Bobby was. Phenomenal his knowledge and detail to attention was on point. He really took time to explain and listened to what we were expecting of a car. He was very thorough and patient. At the end a deal was offered that met our expectations and worked great with our budget. Let me be clear, if I could select ZERO or NEGATIVE stars, I would've. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT get your car serviced here! I wish I believed the reviews before I took my car into the Keyes Hun-DIE in Van Nuys, CA. I took my car in because my key fobs stopped working and this was the closest Hyundai to my home. What should've taken only a few hours turned into an 11 day run-around. Donovan Suarez is the worst service advisor I've ever dealt with. He said he was going to call me with details on what was wrong, how long it was going to take, and pricing. I never got a call so I ended up having to track him down. Finally, I get some sort of update, Donovan said he was going to check with the mechanic and get back to me later that day. He never did. I waited two more days and after two-days worth of calling (btw, I even called the DTLA Hyundai to see if they can help me figure out a way to get a hold of someone at their Van Nuys location!!) to get a hold of Donovan. He finally said the replacement key fobs were on back order and we needed to find the key ourselves!! (WTF?!!). So we ended up ordering a key fob on Amazon. We bring it to the Keyes Hyundai, which Donovan said the programming was only going to take a few hours. They then tell me that it won't be done until the next day, end of day. At this point, what do they expect me to do?! I've already missed out on income due to my car being in the shop for ELEVEN days. Donovan Suarez-the-liar and Hyundai are LITERALLY playing with our money and our lives. Finally, I just picked up the car and had AAA tow it back to my house and GUESS WHAT?! Yes, this place is functionally a dealership but I had an awful time. When I arrived I stood around for 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me after they out the number cap on top of my car. Finally they took my car and tried to sale me on overpriced maintenance. There wasn't anything to justify the high price. I declined and let them know I would need a loft back on my lunch at 1:30. They said to just text us when its time or call if I don't get a response. 1:30 rolled around and I texted and called and no one got back to me for an hour. By the time they did I had to call out from work. When I finally arrived they brought me the wrong car, because the mechanic didn't put the keys in the right place. I'm not using this dealership again. I'm giving it two stars because while so much was wrong the valet and staff were nice. read more

My appointment was at 9am. I was initially informed to wait in my car until a service consultant approaches me. I had to wait for almost an hour while other cars that just arrived were being given attention. I had to approach the consultant and was told costumers are seen in turns which did not make sense given I was on time for my appointment. Over all bad experience and the recall was not taken care off because the "system is down" while most employees was busy playing on their computers. I guess recall does not make them money. They provide awful service, the two members of the staff who I talked to, were unprepared, don't know how to negotiate and how to treat the client. The car I saw was offered for 18k but it had only one key, was a little bit dirty inside in some places and a piece connected to the window was loose/ broken. They raised the price once I sat down to 26k saying that they had add accessories and even if I didn't want them they couldn't remove it and had to charge for it which doesn't make any sense and is just an excuse to charge more money, once I didn't accept the amount they wanted to charge I made an offer of 20k cash right away, they didn't accept my offer and the girl who was talking to me started to make observations that were untrue, unpleasant, inappropriate in an impolite tone saying that I could try and go look into other dealerships but to come to an amount closer to 20 I should look for a car that costs 14k which we all is not true, only if you are naive enough to fall into the "accessories" you don't ask for that they try to force on you as en excuse for more money. read more

I saw the car I wanted from a small-time dealer and it was immaculate, super detailed/clean and looked great. Their model was still in good condition but clearly hadn't been cleaned and had a smoker smell. They said to me: "Anyone can clean a car, but here you pay for PEACE OF MIND THAT YOUR CAR WILL HAVE NO ISSUES"... cut to TWO WEEKS later, my check engine light comes on and repairs are near $700. They have no new buyer policy, and are as reliable as someone I could have found on Craigslist. UPDATE: You now see the GM placing a stock response to me below. He did reach out in an attempt to fix the issue with me initially but had no follow through. For me it was never about getting free service, it was about SERVICE in general. Standing by your claims and making things right the first time, not just because the BBB sends you a complaint form. From Keyes Hyundai, I purchased an Ioniq Electric in Aug 2021 because I needed a car that qualified for the car pool lane. I traveled some distance specifically to buy this car that was on their lot. I was dealing with their Internet Salesperson and made an appt. The staff seemed unaware when I arrived. I was given a new salesperson. After I bought it and took delivery, I noticed 1) no tire stem caps; and later, 2) no floor mats. After several phone calls and explanations that I can't make the trip back for the tire stem caps, they sent the caps to me. But the floor mats....I had to call many times and was passed around from service to sales to parts. Finally after 6 or so calls, I was told they would hold the mats for me so that when I returned for service, I could pick them up. I went for service and to get my floor mats today and the New Car Sales Mgr on duty, "Jason," implied I was crazy to think that after 7 months, they would "give" me floor mats. I explained the history of my complaint to no avail. Jason told me he was not going to give me floor mats. Buyer beware. read more

I don't know where to start , I'm a long time customer of this dealership, I've bought and lease many cars in the past from here , recently we lease another Hyundai Sonata , after 3 weeks this car show's power sit problem , I took the car to service dpt last Wednesday at November 6th , the service advisor said we are short of staff (technicians) we can not diagnose your car until next Wednesday, they took my car but didn't touch for one week, I went there this morning to check the status of my , I figured my car is still in the shop and no one even touched it , I asked the service advisor do you have any idea when my car will be ready , he said I will call you in 30 minuets , no one called me , I went back around 12 pm , still no answer , I said at list give me loaner or rental, because I know this problem is under factory warranty and the dealer suppose give the customer loaner car , but they said we have very long waiting list for loaner , but we know you and we will call you around 3 pm , I said ok , but again no call , no phone answer, and at the end of the day I have no car no loaner , no idea when my car will be ready , this dealership is going down since the new GENERAL MANAGER Sean Evens and his GSM Timor Amir took over the dealership . We began walking back towards our car when George approached us. From that moment on, we were taken care of! George asked what we were looking for and right away showed us to the car we ended up purchasing. Not only was he helpful, friendly, and worked to get the payment we wanted, but he also went the extra mile after the sale. We needed a small spot in the ceiling detailed out and he showed up on his day off to make sure it got done. Then I get called a liar by Raymond, the assistant service manager, by being questioned on "how do we know the car was not like that when you brought it in?" On their website they say "customer satisfaction is the top priority at our Hyundai Dealer" but yet when they are at fault for returning a car to the owner with more problems they charge you to fix the problems. The service is mediocre, very rushed and even ambiguous. The salesperson was able to give us a "deal" by cutting back features and telling us that this is the deal he could give us WITHOUT mentioning that features would be reduced. We learned that the features would be reduced way after we had initiated payment for part of the down payment. The entire process seemed so rushed, and it felt the salesperson was LEAST interested in selling. When we asked him why didn't you tell us that these features will not be included , his simple answer "you never asked". In this entire purchase, the sales guy will always have the upper hand of knowledge than the customer, and still such an ignorant behavior. The finance manager who dealt with us, was calm and patient to explain things to us, but also made mistakes in the costings and we almost paid more than we should have. We were very vigilant throughout the process, kept questioning each number in every document we were made to sign, so that way we were able to catch the discrepancy and mistakes. Overall-- had we not gone to the dealership with the online research and knowing what we are interested in and what cars are already there in inventory and the fact that there was an offer on the APR, we wouldn't have made the purchase on meeting the salesperson. He gave information on what we asked but didn't help us one bit on "selling" or treating customers well. And even after the purchase, we tried reaching to the sales person for follow up questions and help, he wouldn't answer the call or deferred us. Overall very poor customer service. read more

This place is awful. Do not take your car here. We left our car to get serviced and they lost our keys. They didn't bother telling us for days. We even checked on our car a day later and they didn't tell us about the missing keys. They said they were backed up and would give us a call later that day I'm guessing to buy more time. No call, so we followed up the next day to find out they had lost our keys and hadn't done any work on the car over the last 3 days... On top of that, my wife had a custom keychain from our daughter as a gift that was also lost. When we finally were able to pick up our car after about a week for something that should have been 1 - 2 days, the manager agreed he would reimburse us for a new custom keychain. I purchased the replacement and called the manager. No answer, left a message and followed it up with an email. A week went by and no response. I tried again and no answer. This went on for a month and a half until finally the manager answered - Rick Cartwright. He then confirmed he was sending the reimbursement request to his accounting department and it would be in the mail. 2 weeks later and we still didn't receive a check... I called again, no answer and left a message. Emailed, no response like usual. I then tried calling their automated system and was transferred a few times finally getting to a sales rep. She then confirmed Rick was no longer working for them and transferred me to someone who could help. Predictably, no answer again. But guess who's voicemail it was, Rick. WOW, this place is so unprofessional. We'll never go back to this place again and we tell everyone we know to stay away. read more

I leased 4 year price $34k and $450 per month 4 year lease my 2025 Hyundai Tucson on 4-09-25 they told me that the car did not have the automatic stopping feature if a pedestrian or another car is too close and the next day or 2 I read online it does I would like to know if it does it only has the beeping feature if these events happen.I should check them in more detail or use a buying service but they should show me in writing as this is an important feature and the whole procedure took over 6 exhausting hours with waits and waits till I drove it off the lot at 8pm .I have never waited so long for each step and have bought 7 different cars from dealerships in my lifetime and have not yet received the car registration papers in the mail.So far the car drives well and the buyer should be given a simple orientation manual for explaining simply the many many features which no buyer would know about how to activate or cancel which could be risky to a new buyer and are confusing to someone not familiar with them. read more

When my friend said that I shouldn't sign papers for no reason, he told her that she talks too much. Eddie promised me one price that day, I said I'd think about it and return the next day to buy, but he said to never come back if I don't buy the car the same day. The next day they texted me to follow up & he lied & said he never ever gave me that number or deal. I was charged $750.00, there's a sticker on the window, but can't find the alarm. The paper work also shows the car came with a full tank of gas, a front license bracket. Which it did not. DEALERSHIP FAKED COMPLIMENTARY MAINTENANCE I just got back from the 15000 service miles appointment for our 2021 Palisade Caligraphy. KEYES HYUNDAI VAN NUYS Oil change, tire rotation, top up fluids. Got a message after a 2 hour wait that the car is ready. I signed the paperwork (no charge) that the itemized work was completed. Back at the car I checked the tires ( I had numbered the rims prior to possibly change them for winter tires). There were not rotated. I went to the service manager. He shrugged his shoulders and offered to take care of it another time. On the way home I started thinking....if they didn't rotate the tires, they might not have changed the oil??? Sure enough, the oil filter was grimy not changed and the oil on the dipstick was clearly not fresh. Not to mention that he went to get my odometer reading and moved my car from parked on the street into their lot without asking me. Don't drive somebody else's car without asking permission! Further, I went out to my car after being in the dealership for 2 hours and he had left my doors unlocked! In the sales lot! Just not ok. I asked for a manager and there wasn't one working ... spoke to a sales manager who said "he'll probably get written up", and then dismissed me.
