This is my 2nd review of Keyes Hyundai. You can see my last review in my history. The fact that I went back to Keyes is testament to the incredible experience I had with my first car experience there. So now round 2 and why not 5*.... We are in a very strange time for cars. Inventory is low although that is changing and therefore car dealers are able to literally charge what they want and if you don't want to pay it... someone else will. That is the really crappy bit because if the car is a desirable model you are paying way over sticker and the days of negotiating a good deal are a thing of the past, at least for the time being. My last car, a Hyundai Nexo had come to the end of its lease. I extended the lease in the hope that car prices would settle and then I would be able to get a decent deal on a new car. Sadly, the Nexo had a recall and they told us the car could be in the shop for a month but they gave us a rental. Not the same by any means but its a car. Then we were told the Nexo would need a repair which was going to cost $1500. As the car was leased I did not want to pay that so I was backed into a corner and had to consider a new car. Its important to note that Hyundai are now returning Nexo's to Korea as the cost of repairing them is outweighing their used value. Thank goodness I leased the vehicle! Once I knew the status of the Nexo I understood I had to get out of that car. The same day the Nexo went into service I received a call from Hyundai Keyes from a Salesperson called Faisal. Faisal told me he had heard about my Nexo issue and really wanted to help me out etc etc so I told him I would be in later that day. I went in to Keyes Hyundai and sat down with Faisal and then his manager (I cant remember his name) but the conversation was not anywhere near my expectations it was clear they would not sell or lease me a new vehicle without having to pay a premium and there were really no loyalty options. I was so bent out of shape I left as I needed to collect my thoughts and do some research. I was not particularly mad at them but at the situation I found myself in. I was basically going to have to pay another $400 per month for a car that was almost $20,000 less than the value of my Nexo. I just could not get my head around it. To make matters worse I really wanted to lease the vehicle as the tax benefits are better for me but leasing the vehicle was going to be cost prohibitive. I was really in a pickle. I had to buy the car, nothing else made sense. If I turned in my Nexo lease I was liable for the $1500 repair even though that was a direct result of the recall on the car and I had waited 6 weeks to get a service appointment.... After a couple of weeks I went back into Keyes Hyundai and after a lot of back and forth I agreed to buy the new Hyundai Ioniq 5. This experience was nowhere near my experience when I leased the Nexo. It felt like it was an old school car deal and once I felt it was like that I treated it as such and questioned everything I could think to question. Eventually we got the deal done and I have to say that Faisal was really great, very attentive and it felt like he wanted me to be happy which in broad strokes I was once it was done. I was not expecting the vehicle to arrive until the 1st week of January 2023 but Faisal called me a few days after the deal was agreed and told me my car was ready for pick up which made me feel really good and is part of the reason I gave them 4*. Faisal was extremely respectful and I feel he really wanted to give me the best deal he could. I think the dealership could have given me a better deal but that was really down to me as I could have walked away. I do think it is outrageous that dealers are able to gouge at the moment. I did not vibe too well with first finance person who took my deposit for the vehicle, that ended up a little contentious and I still do stand by what I needed from him to make me ok with giving that deposit (I wanted the VIN NO of the vehicle and he didn't seem to want to give it to me....) but in the end I shook hands with him. The lady I dealt with to finance the vehicle was straight to the point and did not steer me wrong. Faisal's manager was a nice guy with a big smile as he knew he had me in a corner, I don't hate him for that, I just know he could have done more for me and last but not least Failsal was great and I think had it been many other salesman I would have walked away but I liked Faisal and felt he was in my corner as much as he could be. In conclusion. I got a brand 2023 Ioniq 5 in the color and trim of my choice delivered to me at least 2 weeks earlier than expected. I paid about 10K more for it than I should have done but I'm now free from my Nexo, a car I could have loved but mostly hated due to the dreadful hydrogen fuel network. Not the car's fault but on a scale of 1 - 10 on inconvenience its a 20. Would I get another car from Keyes Hyundai. Yes.... I think:) read more

My experience at Keyes Hyundai was so bad I cannot recommend any Keyes dealership. We tried to buy a used car and were met with the most unethical behavior I have ever encountered. First we were told we could purchase tire warranty for $495 and theft protection for $1495. We declined both and asked to see financing options. We were brought papers with only partial information on them - monthly payments but no interests rates. The total purchase price had gone up a significant amount and we were told we had to buy the tire warranty, theft protection and now a new third protection. We said we didn't want the car then, and they agreed to take out the theft protection and the third protection which I can't even remember what it was. They came back again with new monthly payments but again, no interest rates. We asked for the interest rates and were told by the Sales Manager Imraz that it was 7.9% once and then later he said it was 8.9%. Every time we asked for all the information to be on one page, Imraz would take all the papers previously given to us away and then come back with something again without all the information. At one point he gave us a payment that he said was 8.5% which looked way too high for the purchase price. My husband was calculating the information on his phone (adding in taxes, fees etc..) and still couldn't come close to the interest rate Imraz said the quote represented. We had to ask a 3rd person to provide us with a paper with all the information, including taxes, fees and the tire warranty price and interest rate included. Well, that paper came back with 1.) the tire warranty price was now $695 2.) A monthly payment with an actual 8.5% interest rate that was now about 20% cheaper than what was previously quoted to us as "8.5%" and 3.) an incomplete VIN number for the car. We were told that the printer "cuts off the last two numbers, but it's the same number, trust us." Needless to say, we had absolutely no faith that we were actually being dealt with in a fair and honest way and decided to not purchase a car from Keyes. We did not realize that Imraz was the manager, so asked to speak to the manager about his behavior. When my husband told him that he felt that the way they were dealing with us was unethical and shady, Imraz just said "so you don't want the car? Then we are done." The really sad thing was that no one who worked there looked surprised so this must be business as usual at Keyes. I would personally avoid all Keyes dealerships if this is the way they do business. FYI - the only way my husband could get to the payment they were initially trying to get us to agree to was like a 16% interest rate, yet we were told it was 7.9-8.9%. read more

Avoid this dealership at all costs, they will lie and tell you all you want to hear to get you into this place. They will paint the perfect picture just to slide the rug from underneath you. I went in to get a new vehicle and before I went, I did my homework on the vehicle I wanted to get estimated 84 month vehicle about 600 a month on 700 plus credit score. Good deal I also wanted to trade in my 2022 car and was told by a manager by vehicle would be paid off and guaranteed extra money towards new vehicle. Was told by a manager from there, her name being Siuzanna Asratian, Internet Manager . Long story short i drove an hr and a half for this amazing deal, show up good credit the wanted my monthly to be 780 for a 38k vehicle with 4k down. Outrageous and top it off the offer to buy off my vehicle went out the window their lie was oops we had another vehicle in mind which makes no sense if they had the vin and pay off amount from my vehicle like I said waste of time liers and crooks. read more

Stopped by on my way to another dealer that had a deal worked out but the mileage was very high. Texted with Gary starting at 3:50pm, decided to come back there at 4:40pm to see what they could offer. I immediately test drove the SUV and loved it (the original SUV I wanted was neck and neck in comparison with the one I chose). By 5:07p they were running my credit which I will admit wasn't the greatest but I have a high income so they got a decent deal done in record time that included a trade in with money owed on it. By 6:50 I had my paper plates on the car and was taking the final items out my old car and was driving back to LA by 7:08pm. Gary was exceptional in making sure he got me in and out as I was literally working at his desk taking FaceTime meetings with my clients as they secured the deal for me. So happy with my purchase. TLDR: they don't accept rebates/grants, they will bully you to pay the full amount of the car, they aren't abiding by Covid standards, WILL RUN YOUR CREDIT WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION **you will overpay for a car and a high chance of getting Covid per their lack of Covid safety standards. Came in for test drive with George. Came out to a deal with George and another Sales Manager Tim. I was asked how I was going to pay several times I said cash, several times and I would like to speak with your finance manager several times. I sat down with George congratulating me on being the last sale of the day and him giving me a paper to sign to purchase the car. Finally, I meet with the finance manager and I hand him my additional rebate. Which he immediately refused and said he did not know what this was went back to get the sales manager. Taimur Amin, or tim. Came back and berated me for having a rebate and wasting his time. Btw with his face mask off, which he apologized for not having on but proceeded to say he would not take the rebate because it would take too long and we would have to pay the full amount of the car until the dealership received the funds. All with his face mask off, for upwards of 10-15 mins, thanks for the Covid. I still wanted the car and I did not have a check at the time so It was late and I agreed to come back the next day. As I was driving home, I got an alert from my credit monitor stating Keyes Hyundai ran a hard credit report on me. Trash. Absolute trash. I emailed the general managers. It's been a few days and no response. I got a call from Jason who really had no idea what happened and was not even there somehow trying to make amends which was futile. Then Tim, tam whatever his name is calls me and has the audacity to say I agreed to a credit check, which I never did. Then asked if I still wanted the car..You lost the sale when you ran my credit without my permission, buddy. That's illegal btw Also wasn't much of a deal on the price at all they were willing to cut was half the interest rate that's it. Again, would have been a great commission for you if you guys had been honest, human beings. The general managers never emailed me back or called me back. I never authorized you to run my credit I agreed to pay the full price of the car. I have purchased cars in cash and have never had my credit checked. I have been asked to run my credit by other dealerships but your dealership is beneath asking for consent to a credit check? Huh speaks volumes to the way you run your business, Keyes Hyundai. Dishonest, lack of integrity, dirty dealers. No class, no integrity, no transparency. Everything people warned you about dirty car dealers was born at Keyes Hyundai. I had to update my review based on servicing my vehicle. Again, this review is for their service department only. The service department is literally a sh*t show here. The service manager, Angelica, I don't know how she became the manager, but she's totally incompetent. She spends more time doing her makeup and gossiping with her groupie colleagues than working. The service department use to be OK before COVID, and I use to go to Victoria as an advisor only. She got things done! Unfortunately, someone else recognized her talents and swept her away. When I went back after COVID, my advisor was John. I'd like to say he was terrible. He lacked any customer service skills and just ignored me when I was waiting to be checked in. I'm not asking for Mercedes Benz level service, but a "hey I'll get back to you when I'm done with x,y,z". Had I not asked someone else, I would have been sitting in my car until they closed. I work in a corporate environment and when teams like this get this terrible, it's all from the top. Poor managers. Please clean this place up, I'm taking my business elsewhere and a few people who experienced the same issues I've encountered have told me they will never buy a Hyundai because of their poor service experience at this location. A great way of marketing Hyundai. Do you remember the Excel days where they'd catch on fire and people would die. Jordan though is great. Unfortunately, all good service advisors like him and Victoria will leave because places like here don't reward people who genuinely work hard and people who get promoted are ones who can brown-nose their way to the top. If you need a great service advisor who's a former mechanic, please go see Jordan. He's the only redeeming thing at the dealership in the service department. I'm hoping Mission Hills is much better. Price gouging and bait and switch pricing. We called to verify a car was available with Eddie, the sales manage, prior to driving over an hour. Once we began to attempt to purchase the car, the price kept going up. Advertised price on their website and msrp was 50.3k. The car had a second sticker saying dealer asking price was 53.5k (never mentioned to us prior to drive). Then, after our credit was run (which was over 800) the price suddenly became 55,000. We asked why it was higher. Faisel told us- oops! It was supposed to be $8000 above msrp. We complained that it wasn't legal to advertise one price and keep raising it above what they advertised. The response was he wrote on his business card that they were charging 5000 above msrp plus 4 items (don't know what those are!) and to use it against him. Please buy elsewhere. Worst dealership ever! I came here to purchase a 2020 Lexus NX sales women Maria kept contacting me about coming down to see the car, and down payment because i was approved already in her words... I finally came down 11/25 her and RJ which i was told is a finance manager had me sign papers, give a down payment and pay for insurance just for me to not be able to leave with the car because I was told that the bank needed to verify my employment the next day but I will be able to leave with the car. For a week straight I was given the run around everytime I called someone was being rude ESPECIALLY BRENDA. Marie stop answering my text and I got my face hung up in multiple times! All while this dealership had my money and I had NO CAR! I asked for my money back several times before finally getting a check that I couldn't cash same day! 0/10 ppl I do NOT recommend you go to this dealership. The same day I got my check back I went to autonation Toyota in Cerritos and was able to drive off with a brand new Camry! No playing around or anything. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL! The service department and customer service are the absolute worst. There is absolutely no communication between people working on the floor and management. Back in February of 2024 I made an appointment on Saturday under the impression that they were open until 5pm. This was posted online making it convenient since I had work until 4pm. When I checked-in, they informed me that they were closing an hour early that Saturday. I had no choice but to cancel the appointment. I told them that this new time was not reflected online. They showed little to no remorse. Then I made an appointment for a later date and the EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED. Now in November 2024, I made an appointment for a week day 2 weeks in advance. Then 5 days before the appointment they called and canceled it. Apparently they canceled all appointments for the week because they were that far backed up. At this point I figured I would do a walk-in since the appointment pathway was clearly not working. When I arrived one person said, "Yes we can get you in. It'll take a bit longer, but we can squeeze you in." Then when I was officially checked-in, the employee said, "Oh, we're only taking appointments right now." I explained my frustration with the dealership and then she said, "If you're able to go to Mission Hills they usually have no wait. That's where we send all of our frustrated customers." That fact that she insinuated more people were frustrated with them and that they send them to a different dealership should be an indicator to fix the problem. But here we are almost 10 months after my appointment debacle in February and the problem isn't fixed. The management at this location needs to step up and actually manage their facility and figure it out. Because whatever they're doing now is failing them miserably. read more

When I called to ask about it they said it was inflation. Okay. But all the parts stayed the same price while the labor went from $28.50 in 2022 to $60.00 in 2023. Come on. Avoid the financial advisor FRED and the manager EDDIE if you are a young woman. Fred will not bother to break down all the costs of what goes into what you're paying for. When I started doing math on my calculator, he was obviously annoyed I didn't just take his word for it. At the end of the meeting, he exclaimed "now I can finally take my lunch!" Way to make it obvious that you were rushing me through this entire thing. I went back with my father a few days later to go over the things that Fred rushed me through and that I still didn't understand. The manager Eddie met with us and initially spoke directly to me but after it was obvious I wasn't going to leave without going into detail about my lease buy out, he started ignoring me and only speaking to my dad directly. Literally talking over me speaking to him and continuing on with his BS explanation to my dad. Some things were cleared up and other things were still left very ambiguous. I had to call corporate when I got home for them to finally break down all of my costs to the exact penny for the math to finally add up correctly to what I was originally quoted. I believe because I am a young woman that these older men felt they didn't need to explain everything to me. Maybe they felt I wasn't worth the time or just couldn't comprehend it. From a customer who just recently purchased a certified pre-owned (CPO) Hyundai for his parents. *TLDR* If you are looking for a certified pre-owned car, they may have attractive prices but you'll have to decide if their sales negotiation BS is worth it. A CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED CAR IS ALREADY CERTIFIED (DONE), NOT CERTIFIABLE (STILL TO BE DONE). *Visit* After searching through cars on Autotrader.com, I came across a CPO at Keyes. I wanted to handle as much diligence and negotiations remotely as possible given COVID-19 and the fact that my parents are in the high-risk demographic. I informed Keyes that the best way to reach me was email, but they were slow to respond and instead tried calling me to ask when I would be available for a test drive. I understand that a phone call might be quicker, but during the day, I'm not available on the phone because of my job. I made a same-day appointment to look at the CPO. I was told to ask for Richard, but when I arrived, Richard was running late. They paired me up with Jonathan Rodriguez instead. Jonathan was great - he was professional, pleasant, and accommodative. However when we turned to negotiations, the experience started to turn south for me. I made an offer 2.4% less than the advertised price, and Jonathan brought out Miles. My impression of Miles could not be any more different than that of Jonathan. *Negotiation* Miles pushed back saying that the car was already heavily discounted, leading to a loss. (He was likely right, but I'm trying to get the best deal). But, this is where I almost lost it. Miles said the car was "certifiable" and not yet "certified," and would be an added cost. Excuse me?!? Isn't that false advertisement? Carfax, Keyes' own website, Autotrader, and Edmunds listed it as a "certified" pre-owned. He kept pushing that rationale, but I was not having any of it. I also pressed on how long the car had been sitting on their lot - they said they could find out. They never followed up with an answer, but Carfax showed they've had it for +3 months. Miles brought out his sales manager, Taimur. He was firm on their price, but he was willing to remove the Dealer Added Options, which included 2 anti-theft devices (2? That's overkill, but I get that they add these levers so that when they pull them from the deal it feels like the customer wins) and some random tire-fill warranty. He was also including the "Certified" label in his price. He told me that I could take up my Certifiable vs. Certified gripe with Corporate if I wanted to. I pulled up the Carfax to show him that it was listed as a CPO. He dismissed it saying it was a moot point since he was including it in the price. I left the dealership with the out-the-door number. *Close* Even after all of that garbage, the price was intriguing, but I normally would not tolerate that. I agreed to a price with Taimur below their number with no dealer added options and would close later that day. When we arrived, I asked for Jonathan again. He said that Taimur didn't tell him that I was coming back and was helping another customer. I would have preferred to work with Jonathan - he was the bright spot. Instead, I worked with Miles - who gave off the vibe that he wanted to be done with us. We waited close to 2 hours to finally see the finance manager, Imraz. He was the only finance manager working that day. Imraz was fine, but I noticed that the plastic partition that is supposed to separate customers and employees was on his office floor. We finally got through paperwork, and we met Miles outside with the car. He gave us the keys and explained why they couldn't give us a full tank of gas (apparently only full tanks are on new cars and not used). He did not ask my mom if she had questions, offer to help her get situated, or say to contact him if we had any issues. He leaves, and no more than 2 minutes later, I see Miles with his belongings getting into his car. He sure was ready to leave ASAP. Thanks for making us feel like just another sale for the books, Miles. *Summary* Look - I get it. Keyes is first and foremost a business, and since the car was old inventory, they were trying to minimize their loss. But don't lie to the customer - the car is a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle. That's just slimy, and the reason why people still hate the car buying experience. Customers are equipped with information more than ever - don't treat them like they're stupid. At the end of the day, I ended up with a decent deal, especially when compared to Carmax and KBB values. If you find a decently priced car here, it could be worth the hassle of dealing with the traditional car-buying song and dance. But if you're looking for customer service, go somewhere else or work with Jonathan. The sales tactics that the Miles and Taimur used made the buying experience memorable for all the wrong reasons. If I could give a rating of zero stars, I would have, but I can't. read more

I have been coming to Keyes Hyundai Van Nuys for my car service for many years. Since my car reached to certain miles, my warranty is either expired or closed to expire. I had a problem with my steering wheel and called the service manager Carlos. He was very helpful and went above and beyond by contacting the warranty department to make sure my car would be taken care of. I really appreciated him for taking his time to explain the process so I was fully aware it. Keyes Hyundai Van Nuys is lucky to have Carlos as a service manager hands down. The day of my service, I was signed to a friendly service advisor Juan Carlos. He was also kind, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions regarding the service. I did not feel rushed and he made my check in to pick up process as easy as possible. What a great guy! Dealing with Keyes Hyundai was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I was reluctant to go into a dealership because I'd had a bad experience at another one recently where I'd felt pressured and bullied by a young salesman who wanted me to make a decision immediately. When I told him I needed to consult a friend, he wanted me to call him and talk to him right then, which I didn't want to do. So, I left and wasn't looking forward to another encounter like that. Before I decided to go into another showroom, I talked to Brian Sobel, the manager at Keyes Hyundai. I told him about my experience and he listened and was very helpful. He assured me that no one would put undue pressure on me to buy the same day, and if I wanted the car, they'd make the best possible deal for me. Brian also assured me that their staff took Covid precautions very seriously, something the other dealership didn't seem to do. Brian arranged for me to work with, Carl Fisher, who met me at the front door when I arrived. We talked about what I was looking for and he set up a test drive for me. I took the car on the prescribed route - alone - and decided this was the one for me, except I didn't like the color. Carl went to work to find it in the color I wanted. He came through. He proceeded to present me with my options. I felt no pressure to make a decision and, after deciding to buy it, I got the car I wanted at a fair price. Carl told me to call him if I had any questions at all. I drove home in my beautiful, brand new 2021 Hyundai Tucson. Carl called a few days later to follow up and see if I had any questions about the car. I didn't, but I really appreciated the call and the customer service at this dealership. read more

Came in on time for a recall. I waited 45 mins before someone came to check me in. Apparently I was assigned to one specific services rep that was tied up with another customer. Although when I asked someone else where this rep is, the response was "he's slow". I watched at least 10+ vehicles get processed by other service reps. No one came to offer help and no one offered any explanation. When I was finally being checked in by another rep, he was indignant, almost defiant that I was not happy about just being put aside for almost an hour. Unfortunately individual customers don't matter in this equation. But personally, I would never do business with this location and brand again. I know cars are hard to come by and us consumers have very little say, but if you can, I recommend avoiding this business. read more

Oh boy let me tell you how much I enjoy leasing a car here. Before coming here, my wife and I, had decided to go somewhere else. We had seen that they had a special online. We were excited and ready to get a new car. Once there they double the price and said, "Someone hacked our system and lower our prices." I was so sad because of the false advertisement. We decided to try this dealership because they also had a special. We worked with Farid Saddat. We were waiting for the lies and extra charges, but they never came. There was also an instant where Farid could have sold me something more expensive but didn't. I wanted to go with the next trim in order to charge my phone wirelessly. He said, "If that's all you wanted for its not worth it." I was surprise he didn't jump on it like a shark. To make a long story short! No lies! Just business men doing their job. Do not come here if you are a new buyer. I came into this dealership as a first time buyer and was incentivized by the Replace Your Ride Program (RYR) as it is for low income households to get an electric car. At first these guys seem nice but they are here to steal your money. On October 2023, I was told by my salesman, Gary, that I would get the car for 41k instead of the MSRP of 53k. I remember this because I Was deciding between this car or a Tesla which was 41k as well, that is why I assume he gave me such a generous deal. How the numbers worked was I was suppose to get the car for 41k with my RYR program which gave me 9.5k. This totalling up to around 550 monthly based on what I was told to by my salesman. I was completely okay with this and was happy. Until the Finance Manager, Fred Amilee, comes along and shows me two total contracts. The first one shows that my monthly payment would be 656 as he put all my discounts and rebates on one line as rebates. Although different from what my salesman quote was, he said that it does not include RYR program which is generally the right cost. I signed it and was okay with it. BUT apparently, he made a "mistake." He does not tell me that mistake and gives me a second contract says that my cost instead would be 621 monthly. I reiterated to him "Is this my monthly payment without replace your ride." A normal person would say yes or no right? Instead he says "yes but replace your ride would come in later" and more long winded explanations that did not answer my questions. I asked him multiple times but he says the exact same thing. He makes no effort to understand you even with the most basic instructions. I already knew RYR would come in later so I assume he was just reminding me so I signed. I left mistakenly happy and gave me aflash drive with my contract despite me asking multiple times for a paper copy as I did not have a computer at hand. He said they don't have paper copies which is ridiculous I never seen an establishment not have paper copies. I go home right away and checked it and it was the number of the first contract (656) not the second contract (621). Apparently he made another "mistake" and gave me the wrong contract and later sent me the second contract with replace your ride instead. I was very confused and called him again asking " hey I thought RYR comes in later why is it in my contract". He said that it was for the RYR Agent so they know it has RYR. I said sure and two weeks later I got a notification that my monthly payments were 765. I was so confused so I called him everyday for a week and apparently he was out of the office for THE ENTIRE WEEK. I later had to wait and confront him and he pulled out the most condescending and kindergarten arguments. I asked him why is it that high (765) when I asked you my monthly payment without RYR is 621. He said that no this is what we discussed. I told him that my salesman said this amount, how is it not reflected anymore. He said its because he made a mistake which he did not add in the RYR on the first contract so he took out 7.5k out of the rebate discount and put down RYR as its own discount meaning instead of my 12.5k discount that I originally discussed with my salesman is now instead a 5k discount meaning I would have to pay 7500 MORE than what was promised from my salesman. I told him how that makes no sense, RYR is 9.5k when the rebate you took off was 7.5k. He said ... "people make mistakes," "I've done this for a long time I know what I am doing," and "You come back confused when you told me that you understood". CLEARLY THERE IS A MISUNDERSTANDING, that is why I came back. He did this knowing that I am low income and inexperienced. I have not paid a single monthly payment yet and I even offered to ask my salesman to help me but he said even if my salesman confirms it is wrong he would not fix it. I will never buy a car from Hyundai let alone Keyes Hyundai again. Also Fred every time I message, email, or call Fred Amilee he always takes one or two weeks to respond back despite me calling him the day before. He gives me times he will come back and talk to me but never holds up on his end and double or triple the amount of time it takes. Because he is so slow and inconsiderate to my position I missed out on a rebate I could have applied for which was another 6.5k that ended in November. Awful place if not just Fred. read more

I like this place, but it's not very consistent. My oriole change is typically take an hour, this last time took 2 1/2 hours because they either didn't listen or work told when I said I did not want my car wash, because I had already washed it. Not only do they do a for a job at washing the car, it came out worse then after having my car washed. My advisor is Jimmy, who is very friendly and helpful, but sometimes you have to keep on top of things. What was most disappointing is that I came when it's slow and it took twice as long is when I came during the busier times. Overall, they do a great job here, everyone is friendly and willing to help you out. You just have to double check to make sure that they're going to do what they said they will do read more

In the before times (December 2019), I was in the market to purchase a Kona Electric so I made a visit to Keyes Hyundai, and after having talked with one of the salespeople and the finance manager, we did not come to an agreement, so I walked out of the dealership. As I was returning to my car, the general manager, Brian Sobel, chased after me and asked what had happened. I told him that I did not like the deal and I politely declined the offer made by the salesman. Brian then started to berate me and told me that if were to come back the next day, their offer would not be given again (I got a better deal at a different dealership, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and that maybe I did not "deserve a $48,000 car." As a customer, I felt disrespected and did not deserve that attitude. With their claim as the #1 volume seller in the west region, I expected better behavior from such a place. That was a very poor showing of customer service from the general manager, of all people, and it left a very bad impression about the conduct of Keyes Hyundai and its employees--never mind the lies they told me the entire time (e.g. everyone is selling at or above MSRP!) and all the expensive marked-up add-ons installed on all of their vehicles, which buyers have no option to leave off (paint protection, aftermarket alarm). read more

Unfortunately I got completely ripped off. They told me they could barely get anything for my old car, but here they are trying to sell it for 24k! I traded it in for just over 2k. I went to Keys Hyundai as my first stop to find my son a new car. Never expect to get a car on my first stop. Eddie, the manager, was delightful and helpful. He introduced us to our salesman Shakespeare. My past experience is that car salesman have been like blood sucking vultures. My experience here could not have been more opposite. We had a great time here. More selection than I expected, and they worked with us where price was concerned. Rosa in the finance office was lovely and moved as fast as Lightning. Best car buying experience I have ever had. You're an idiot if you don't come here. read more
