I was looking to scale down from my V8 truck and was warmly greeted by Ruby who handled my purchase with the utmost professionalism and knowledge. She was very positive in informing me of all my choices and did not hard sell. She knew all the features of the car and was happy to show me. I wish all salespeople were like her. She did not try to force sell any features. The finance manager was an angel. No rush to sign papers and he got me a great deal with no haggling. This is the type of dealership I enjoy working with. No one here is good for their word, they will tell you whatever gets them what they want or you off the phone. Find a different dealership, I used this dealership and they set a meeting and then the sale person I was meeting suddenly isn't there and got another guy with different deals and is acting like i'm the one inconveniencing him. Just over all don't bother. Edit: They have reached out to appear to solve my issue but i have already went through this several times with them. My partner and I bought and leased five cars, so we know this situation very well! (Trust me, it won't happen anymore that I get another vehicle with them in the future.) Hyundai service is the worst ever! Angelica screwed the entire service department with her incompetence! I'm so fed up! I took my car last week and told me the Cvv had to be repaired, and after three days it got broken again, and they also forgot the oil change that I requested. On Monday I took my car back, today on Thursday they still have it. They told me I could have picked up my car today; of course, nobody texted me. I have been on the phone with them for 40 mins to receive the same answer over and over: "someone will call you," of course they won't! Monday, my advisor Oliver was extremely arrogant with the attitude of a bully! He does not say hi to people or politely asks questions; I guess he is so unhappy about working for Hyundai! (Consider McDonald's if you want to change) I brought it up to him that he could be more polite, and he bullied me at the end of the conversation, mocking me and saying: "Have a great day" in a very arrogant way! (An eternal child, I guess) Before Oliver, the worst advisor was John, another arrogant and rude person who treat people like sh**t. I'm honestly tired of this bunch of children who act like bullies instead of being professional and offering a decent service since they are paid for. FIRE ALL OF THEM! They didn't put in the system. We have received continuous collection calls. We are not late with our payment, since payment isn't due until 2/17. We called the dealer at least 8 times and emailed upper management. They finally responded and they apprehensive to do so, but would rewrite the contract with the correct information and enter into the system. We are still getting collection calls. We are on hold with Hyundai financial and they are telling us that the payments are past due. The supervisor that the first contract needs to be closed and a new account started. The two times I've been here to deal with my car lease, my husband came with me and despite knowing that the car was mine and I was the one paying for it, the male salesperson directed 90% of their attention to my husband. Both times, different salespeople. Also both times, the salesperson on the floor told me information that turned out to be untrue once I met with the finance department. For example, I was told I'd get a rebate for leasing a hybrid vehicle, but once I got to the finance department I was told I didn't qualify for the rebate because of my income, which is information that the salesperson had. read more

I brought my 2014 Sonata Limited in for service and a recall. My clock/radio/cigarette lighter were not working. After looking at the computer modules, it was determined that one had failed and could not be replaced. One of the panels was left on the floor and the fuse cover was missing. Somehow the failed module has come back to live a handful of times. With the lack of help from corporate Hyundai, I am not sure I will purchase another Hyundai. read more

I took a flight from NY to buy a car for my mom and I only had one busy day to get it done. She had a Hyundai lease that ended from Keyes. I walked in to lease or buy another car from them. I walked around for about 15-20 min looking for someone to help me. No luck. Poor customer service. So I just walked out and went to Keyes Lexus and drove out with a new Lexus within 30 min. No joke. Also when we tried to return the vehicle it was a horrible experience. The lady that takes care of the returns never returns calls. We were lied to, coached on the survey, given another customers personal info, and forgotten about when it was over: I am very happy with my Hyundai- but if you want straightforward, honest sales people- look somewhere else. I thought for sure since it's 2018 the dishonest car dealer would be a thing of the past but it is not. We were approached in the lot by Johnny- who seemed very nice and eager to help us. We test drove several cars. We wanted a specific model of a car- and this was the only model we test drove and the only model we ever discussed. He quoted us a price on it- repeatedly. I can look past the fact that he said his wife was pregnant with his first child, then later said he had "kids". I get it, you're trying to butter us up. Fine. But after that we were told lie after lie. We started our buying process with Johnny, then were handed off to Rebekah. When we sat down with Rebekah to buy the car she told us the price was $4000 more than Johnny had quoted. We told her Johnny's quote and she said that was for the base model- which we had never discussed. Fine- maybe it was a miscommunication- but it really didn't seem that way. We also discussed the Sirius in the car. Johnny told us if we bought a car from him he would be able to get us free Sirius for life. When we brought it up when we were buying the car he shushed us and told us he could get fired for telling us about it. Then he proceeded to tell us to download a radio streaming app. This app had nothing to do with Sirius. The free Sirius was clearly just a flat out lie. Johnny then walked up and told us we would be emailed a survey about how they did. He then proceeded to hand us a printed survey and told us these were the answers we needed to fill out for them to get their bonus. Not only does that seem dishonest but the first question on the survey is "did the salesperson coach you on how to answer the survey?". Also- and I think this is a huge issue- the survey had another customer's personal information on it! I have blacked it out- but it had real information from another customer who had previously filled it out. I actually looked up the guy- I thought for sure it was not real. Yes- it was all real. I would not want Johnny giving out my information to another customer so I'm sure this guy wouldn't appreciate it either. We were also told to text Rebekah if we needed anything, and told that she would contact us to set up our first appointment with the service department. This is where I lose it. We never heard from Rebekah again. It was almost as though she never existed. We called her repeatedly- on her cell and at the dealership- because our alarm kept going off. For three days we never heard back. I was told by the receptionist on the phone that Rebekah's cellphone had "malfunctioned". I told the receptionist that I had called the dealership and left messages and she had no answer for why I hadn't heard back if I was calling the dealership. To their credit- I was transferred to the manager and Darren helped me immediately and sent someone to my house to fix the alarm. But I never heard from Rebekah again- about the alarm or the appointment for the service department. I have been put on all the Hyndai mailing lists- but clearly no one at the dealership is ever planning on contacting me again. We were blatantly lied to throughout the whole process and were never contacted again. If this is how they treat everyone I am shocked they are still in business. read more

This review is towards the service department at this location, not the sales department. Honestly we all know that people will write reviews when they're really happy about service or really upset about service. Hyundai could not make my experience right every chance they had the opportunity to within the last 48 hours. I had an appointment Monday. When I arrived, I was told that I would be working with Aaron. When Aaron greeted me, I told him what I came in for (Keys) and he immediately stated that I needed to go downstairs to order the part and that they would call me when they get it in stock and I would have to come back to have the key cut and programed, ok fine... But... he didn't even check if they did have it in stock. It was an automatic assumption. So I was sent downstairs to order the key, to then be told that I needed my license and registration, no big deal. Grabbed it from the car and went back downstairs to then be told that they did have the part in stock and they don't know why I was sent down there, that it could have been handled by my rep (Aaron). So the parts gentleman took me back upstairs to work with John. John was great, honestly handling 2/3 customers at once, he was even confused on why Aaron sent me to parts. Eventually John got me back with Aaron and Aaron said that I would have to come back another day and that there was no time to program the keys for me. So pretty much the time that was allotted for me and my car was pretty much thrown away and I wasted my time showing up to the dealership. I explained to Aaron that I would be traveling and now working back in person, that my time is limited and he said he would take care of me first thing in the morning. I am very non confrontational and although I was upset, I decided to cool off, instead of making it a big issue at the dealership of how much of an inconvenience it was for me. I decided to reach out to the service manager and GM, just to be sure that when I showed up the following morning, I'd know what to expect and not have any surprises. Eventually the Service manager reached out to me and stated he was doing research on how they would have to make the key and program it, he said he was unsure of the process and that he would call me back and let me know. Who would have thought that replacing a key would be this complicated from an actual dealership right? Fast forward to the next day... no call from the Service Manager. So I decided not to go in... knowing that it would inconvenience me and I wouldn't make it to work in time. I reached out via email to the Service Manager and he responded with the process and the cost. Not even acknowledging the fact he didn't return my call and how frustrating this has been for me. So another wrench was thrown in onto of that, which was the cost. I was quoted about 3 times that day. Twice was $180 plus tax, the other quote was cost for part (Flip Key) and then $80 to program the key. So now being told that its $400+ for a single key... So there goes to show you how there's total miscommunication going on here and Hyundai is definitely under delivering. Even if the cost is $400+, I just want to know how they dropped the ball across the board in trying to help me get a replacement key. Also keep in mind that I do have a spare key that they could use to cut my ket as well. Really for me it is all about customer service and having empathy. Thats where customer service thrives... There was a lack of that from each employee I worked with in helping resolve this issue. I can accept the cost even if its high, but I do not accept how unprofessional and how much of an inconvenience this was by going to the dealership... I found the car on TrueCar.com; a website for military, first responders, and other state/federal employees. I worked with Chas, the True Car rep at the dealership, Talmur, and Imraz (finance). Chas and Talmur went above and beyond. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Talmur went over my credit report, the offer from my bank, and the offer from the bank that works with the dealership. We weighed out the pros and cons together. Imraz explained everything in detail and made sure I understood my payments, gap insurance, and perks. Together we made great decisions and I was able to drive off the lot with a 2020 vehicle. Annoying sales and TERRIBLE service department. I bought my used car from here two weeks ago and did not want any add ons at all but of course, all the add ons are built into the car. I had to get a "nitro" tire warranty as the tires were pumped with nitrogen to make them last longer etc. So then tell me why two weeks later I have a flat tire? Id seen the tire deflated, pumped it myself and called to book an appointment but the tire was flat (and ripped) before I could get there. When I call for a tow they want me to pay out of pocket! When I have a warranty that forces me to go to them! I got bounced around on the phone a lot, even got hung up on and spoke to a person who asked me, "do you know if we even have your tire in stock?" as if it's MY JOB to know what's in stock! Anyway fine, I get my own tow and get down there by 450 on a Friday and they say the the tire I need per my warranty is not on stock, and it would have to wait till tomorrow. OK fine. Saturday morning I call to check in and the warranty people are CLOSED for the weekend! I ask for a spare, they can't give me one, I ask for another car to drive, can't do that either. So I'm asking myself why I am even dealing with these people to begin with when I could have just gone to a mom and pop garage literally anywhere else, as I've done in the past, and been out of there in an hour. However, they tell me since I need a specific tire, they'll at least order so it'll be here Monday, ready to go. Now it's Monday, and I get a text that no, the tire wasn't ordered on Saturday, I was lied to and it was only ordered Monday morning. Now I have to wait till Tuesday. Finally got my car back by noon on Tuesday. Explain to me how it takes an entire weekend and then some to rectify a flat tire? Hope this review offers some advice to anyone who's looking to purchase a vehicle here. Long story short, our salesperson, Faisal Islam, was trying to sell us off a USED vehicle for a new car. We visited this location twice, and today, we went in to actually purchase the vehicle. After two hours of stressful price negotiation, we proceeded into the finance office to complete the paperworks in buying new 2019 HYUNDAI Sonata SE. When we were signing the paperworks, one of the paperworks mentioned "used car," and when we questioned about the details of the form (since we are buying new vehicle), the finance manager, Lucine Martirosian, then informed us this 2019 Sonata SE that we were planning to buy was actually RETURNED from previous customer with over 100 miles in mileage. No one was able to provide us with a clear answer on why the vehicle was returned by previous customer. Not only were we not informed about this vehicle being categorized as USED on papers previous to this paperwork process (no one even bother to inform of this used status), their attitudes in handling this matter was not very professional at all. Lucine, the finance manager, was continuously trying to argue with us asking why we would not purchase this vehicle, when it's considered as "USED" only on paperworks, and that car itself will operate totally fine as new vehicle . She tried to fight me by saying that she would still buy this vehicle since it's technically new and marked USED only on paper. (She later apologized, and said she's only in the middle. Yes, exactly, why does she even care?) In addition, she stated that we are purchasing it for a lower price, because it was categorized as used (not a single portion of discount was due to such reason). Our salesman, Faisal, and the other finance manager was all very aware that we were there to buy a NEW 2019 SONATA SE white. On the other hand, It's very hard to understand that Faisal, the salesperson, was not "aware" of this car being sold as used, when he knew that this 2019 Sonata SE (white) was the very last one they had in inventory. Not only was he aware that this vehicle was the last White 2019 Sonata SE in inventory, Faisal was aware of us coming in today to purchase NEW 2019 Sonata SE, white. When we asked him if he knew that this vehicle is categorized as USED, he acted shock, but was aware of the EXACT mileage in this car, in which he NEVER mentioned throughout the negotiation at all. We obviously did not end up buying this vehicle. However, they have already ran Hard Inquiry on my brother's credit check, which lowered the credit score, in which there is no compensation at all for. I would personally recommend more transparent dealership, but if you insist on buying a NEW vehicle at this location, just check more thoroughly to ensure that you are actually purchasing a NEW vehicle, not only in operation but also on document for your own sake. read more

Another price gouging dealer during a pandemic. I was able to find two dealers willing to sell me an Ioniq 5 at MSRP. That's the kind of dealer who can sell to my friends and get repeat business. Don't get scammed and hand over your tax credit and equity to a dealer. At MSRP the dealer is doing very well, so this is just taking advantage of buyers at the worst possible time. Use Facebook, join the group for your car and ask people where they found better dealers. They're out there, so don't overpay! UPDATE: As you can see, this dealer responds to negative comments, but it's just a ruse. So in spite of an offer to discuss pricing and NOT GOUGE during a pandemic, I simply got sent to another salesman who dared me to find a better price. LOL! We did. And so did my buddy on his and even MSRP on a Kia EV6. Keyes is a shady dealer. Trust the poor reviews and join the Facebook groups and forums to reward the good dealers. They ARE out there! Also: If you seriously can't find an honest dealer, try the dealers in Stamford as some will do MSRP and then you only have to handle the shipping, which is still FAR less than what Keyes is trying to gouge. read more

They are holding my vehicle over 4 months now. I had check engine light up so I turned in my vehicle on 11/02/2022. The first service advisor Aaron Burkard assured me it would be covered by lifetime engine warranty I have on my Sonata. I trusted him and waited and he never provided any update and Keyes Hyundai is worst at returning your call. I visited couple weeks after and service manager Kevin Ormes informed me Aaron left the company and assigned me a new service advisor, Andy. Andy initially provided me some updates that they are just waiting on parts to be delivered and it will be fixed promptly. Then there was no update from Andy since then, and I was not able to get any update from anyone on the status of my vehicle, I visited the branch in person again and found out that Andy and Kevin also left the company. New manager Michael Sanders assigned Ahmed as my new service advisor on 01/02/2022. Michael Sanders also assured me it would be covered under the lifetime engine warranty I have from HMA engine settlement, and it would be fixed promptly. He apologized for taking this long and explained it was due to high turn over in staffing. I trusted him and waited for more updates. Another month passed by and whenever I call the branch and ask for status update, they don't have a clue what is going on with my car. They just reply whenever I cc HMA complaint case manager on the email. It is 03/02/2022, exactly 4 months after I turned in my vehicle. I called the branch on 03/01/2022 and looked for Michael Sanders and they are saying he left the company. It is not even funny now. During this 4 months period they held my car, they changed my service advisor 3 times and all the service managers I was communicating with left company with empty promises. What is even more ridiculous is that they are saying they will not honor the warranty coverage as promised by former service advisors and managers I worked with. Every time they changed my service advisor, they did not have any clue on what is going on with my vehicle until I visit them in person and refresh them where we left off every single time. This is by far the most disastrous and stressful experience I had with any car dealership. This dealership made me realize that it is not worth buying Hyundai. And if you are unfortunately stuck with a Hyundai vehicle that needs to be serviced, take your car to somewhere other than this horribly managed branch. read more

Today my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe has been at the service center for FOUR MONTHS. I recognize that they have no incentive in getting us our car back as corporate Hyundai is paying for the medioce and smaller car rental they have for us, but come on. Our 4 year old could put in an engine faster than this. We brought in our 5 year old Santa Fe after the check engine light came on. We were told that they would need to disassemble the engine to see if it could be replaced under warranty AT OUR COST. Why? They said the oil had gummed up and the oil pump stopped working. We have been good with oil changes and I always use synthetics that dont gum up. So, we were obviously being ripped off here, but if we took the car somewhere else they said that would void the warranty. So, with a gun to our head, we said yes. Long story short, they are replacing the engine... Well, actually just letting it sit for 4 months, as I said... The whole reason we bought the Santa Fe with captain seats was so that we could have two kids seats in the second row and my in laws in the third row. Well, the in laws are arriving in 10 days and we have no way of transporting them and the kids at the same time. We are beyond livid. I just bought a brand new luxury car and obviously it wasn't a Hyundai and not from from a Keyes dealership. Now go to costcoauto search for the car you want enter all the details that's it. You get the car below invoice price and no price haggling. Plus you get 50% off on all additional stuff that the dealership adds like paint protection, theft protection etc. Finally my out the door cost was the MSRP. Saved nearly 5 thousand dollars. This works really well for new cars that are in the market with good demand. For cars that have been in the market for a while this might not work as good as negotiations. Why the two stars? The dealership is good and okay if you do not negotiate. But once I brought up the Costco prices and started negotiations they kind of left me and moved on which was really rude. This dealership does not have a Costco program but that does not mean they have to walk away like that. read more

UNORGANIZED/HOT MESS!!! I had to get my car serviced due to 2 recalls. I came in at an 8:15am appointment and told the service representative that I had work and I'll be back after 5PM. The service representative told me to pick up the keys at the front desk. Guess what? I came after work and the reception lady doesn't have my car key. Hyundai Keyes told me to come back the next day. Are you kidding me? The sales department tried to retrieve the car key but failed. The car key was locked away. Ridiculous! They don't have any back up plan. I come back the next morning and my service agent realized he dropped the ball. He said it was a miscommunication. I signed the invoice, and the cashier lady told me someone will retrieve car now. I am waiting, and waiting, and waiting....no one retrieved my car or came to assist me. I reached out to one of the Hyundai service agents and he asked what my car ID # was. I provided the # and he pointed at the wrong car then asked one of the service technicians to pick up car. There was no car wash. When they are servicing the car, it makes me question the quality of service if they can't even get the basics right. My dinner plans were ruined. I couldn't go the gym since I had no car. I had to Uber to the Valley from Los Angeles then drive back during rush hour. I had a bad feeling when I arrived, so I took off my house keys from my car key's keychain, which I never do. Beware: you will take your car in for service/repairs, they'll let you know all the top dollar expensive costs and then drop all communication. I was told my car would be ready by end of day Tuesday and if there would be any delays I'd be notified. I called at 4pm on Tuesday to find out what was happening with my car, couldn't get anyone on the phone. I texted, left messages, emailed no response. I called again the next morning. Couldn't get ahold of anyone. I finally spoke to an operator who said a manager would have to call me back later. Couldn't even find out from him if the work had been done on my car yet. I still have no idea when I can pick it up. Never again, will I bring my car to this place. It's one thing to need more time it's another to have zero communication and leave a customer with no transportation. Go anywhere but here! read more

I ordered a new set of keys and bought it through the parts from this dealership. Unfortunately it took them 1 YEAR AND HALF to give me my keys. I tried to complain to the manager of the parts, but manager of the parts did not help me out at all and basically told me that it was my fault that it took that long. LUCKLYYY! I met manager of the service Kevin Ormes, who took care of me and did not charge me for the service of programming the keys to the car. He did not have to do anything because this was through the parts, but he wanted to take care of the problem. 1000% recommend this dealership as long as Kevin Ormes is the manager! read more

Before you buy a car from Hyundai drive your car around for a few miles before you purchase or lease... We have a 2022 Hyundai sonata limited 1.6 t. It's a piece of crap electrical problems the dealer doesn't know how to repair it we bought a car with zero mileage has a major alignment issue they don't want to accept the fact to do a simple alignment that they could have taken care of to make a simple customer happy. Due to the fact of after 12,000 miles they claim not to be responsible. But when the car was off alignment from the beginning of the lease. They have a free hand assist button on the steering wheel that makes the feeling of the ride even much worse. I also had prior problems with my seat cool and heat system during hot days on the summer the cooling system would not initiate.. I took it in for that matter they don't know what the problem is that's basically what they told me and they can't do nothing regarding it due to no codes... Now I have the same problem regarding the heat for the seat heater again nobody took the initiative to figure out the problem. The service writer called me a piece of shit and told me to get out of here which I will be contacting my lawyer regarding slander on this dealer's service writing individual.... Point of the story be careful buying cars from Hyundai they might look nice but they actually come with more problems than you really want to handle... And as for the service department 0! With availability low, a different brand dealership didn't honor the deposit I'd placed on a car. Keyes promised me that they would have their vehicle waiting when she moved to LA. The Kona was perfect, price was excellent in a tight market, and everything went smoothly. Last month a tree fell on this car, & ultimately it was a total loss.
