When I entered the restaurant there was nobody waiting at the counter or the drive up.I ordered the 3 pc. Box with 2 breasts and one wing the guy at the counter asked what I wanted for sides which I said 2 mashed potato with gravy (which when I got home was written on the slip). Also before he rang up the order he had to check and see if they had enough chicken which should have tipped me off. What actually happened first I got my drink and when I went to cover it there were only 3 left and hey were bent and unusable also the area needed to be cleaned and organized. When I got home in 7 minutes the food was lukewarm at best and I had coleslaw instead of the 2nd potato. The worst part wa the chicken breasts were so dry they were almost inedible. I went here today is was spectacular I remember the lobby used to be so weird with the booths and all the tables used to be dirty but today it looked different after not showing up for two years I thought they did an absolute good job with the place and even the giant bucket above the table I really like how the design on it is with the light inside of it to. Look, my expectations for KFC are average at best. The food is average (but I will not-so-secretly admit that it's a craving that I have from time to time). The service is average, sometimes better than average (though not usually). The portions are below average. But it is what it is. But I experienced an all-time low this visit. Waited in the drive thru.... got to the speaker... ordered a $20 fill-up... they didn't have any breasts and probably not enough chicken to cover it. It'll be a 10 min wait. So I pull ahead and wait in the parking lot for about 15 min. I schlep my family into the restaurant because now the drive-thru is about 6 people deep and nobody has time for that nonsense. After all, I had already been waiting 15 min + the time I'll never get back from my initial wait in the drive-thru. Picture it. I get inside, there are people "peppered" all over the place near the counter but NOTHING is happening. No food is being slung about, no bags of biscuits or boxes of chicken being served. The guy running the register could have only been moving slower if he was walking backwards. He walked outside to (evidently) deliver food to a car out there as if he had cement blocks on his feet. He came back in the same way (all the while, the register was unattended - no one to take my order). I finally get his attention (because, again, sloth...) and he says, "Oh, we're out of chicken. We can't fill your order for another 15 min or so" I'm sorry. What? That was the story about 20 min ago now. So I ask for extra crispy (desperate times) and he says, "Oh, that will probably be more like 20-25 minutes." Guys. THEY WERE OUT OF CHICKEN. They had loud (LOUD) music playing in the kitchen. No one seemed to give a flying turkey that they had no chicken. Was no one watching the inventory levels of the main product that they sell? A sweet older woman (I say sweet because she wasn't losing her ever loving mind like most people would be) had mentioned to the man next to her, "Oh, my receipt says I paid at 5:45 and my order still isn't ready [at 6:14!]. People, this is absurd. We left. On our way out, I noticed the drive-thru was a hot mess of cars with more than one of them with their reverse lights on - clearly trying to get out of the trap that is their chicken-less drive-thru (you see, once you are IN the drive-thru, you have no way out other than backing out or waiting to get through the entire line). So many people must have been ticked that they couldn't get anything to eat! My husband got word from me that Shrewsbury was seriously slacking so he drove all the way to MILFORD to get KFC - they had chicken. Probably won't be back. read more

You get what they give you One of the many KFC/Taco Bell combinations that seem appearing everywhere. Not a large place, just a bunch of rather chewed up tables and chairs and a rather small counter. The food seemed decent but in reality it was difficult to tell because the orders were so messed up. I was at Umass Medical with 3 friends and we didn't want hospital food so we ran over here. Unfortunately a woman with a huge litter of kids proceeded us. Unruly kids to say the least. The woman had no idea what to order and had difficultly reading the menu so she just stood there trying to get the kids to decided. The poor guy behind the counter was trying his best to more things along but each of the kids kept changing his mind and asking stupid questions. The line behind us kept growing. Finally the woman and her irritating off spring got their orders straight and we had a chance to step up. I could see the poor people in the back speaking in Spanish and looking at each other, trying to figure out exactly what was ordered and what the little monsters actually wanted. All the orders including ours came out at once and as soon as they did the future felons just grabbed at any bag. So we ate something but certainly not what we ordered, it was just too complicated and chaotic to be bothered with getting it straight. We came here because we didn't have a lot of time and wanted "fast food". We got food but it certainly wasn't fast. The employees actually did a pretty good job of getting the food out but with the small, cramped area and a simpleton mom with her pack of delinquents, the situation was impossible for them. How this franchise is still in business is a complete mystery. I have not ordered from this particular KFC/Taco Bell in a few years. I happened to be in the area today and my daughter wanted some chicken tenders so we went in and ordered a 12 piece chicken tender meal to bring home. We stood in line while three customers in front of us ordered. When it came time for us to order we were ignored while the lady running the register held a conversation in Spanish with the woman that was ordering when we entered the store. After they completed the conversation the customer stepped in front of me and preceded to place an additional order. After paying the cashier looked at me and said "okay you order now" Upon arriving home which is about 25 min away I find out they gave my my order incomplete. Needless to say I will never order another thing from that KFC or any other again. read more

Did the drive-thru to save rime--big mistake. I was stuck with two very, very dry crispy chicken breasts (been sitting around under lamps for too long perhaps, although it was just after 2pm). If I'd dined in, I would have returned the chicken and asked for something fresh and juicy. Do drive-thru patrons get the "leftovers" as they're less likely to return and complain? Plus the potato wedges appeared to have been down-sized--if I want fries sized, I'll go to a burger joint. I expected my potato wedges to be thick and taste like potato. The worker ignored me even though we heard him rustling with pans in the back. My friend suggested we drive back around to the intercom and see if he could hear us better from there. Still no response. We then pulled back up to the window and saw that this fool closed it!!! I really don't understand how this place is able to stay open with the incredibly long wait. It's insane! Going through the drive through takes at least 10-15 min. That isn't even an exaggeration! A Hispanic gentleman with a beard and a white male went above and beyond to give me good service, catered to my every need ( and trust me I'm not easy to please). It didn't sell well and the machine broke down a lot and costs $1000.00 each time for repairs. I had a 5 dollar box lunch that was a 3 pc....regular fried which ended up costing me $9.99.
