Worst kfc ever I live in west Sacramento I'll drive somewhere else. I came one and they said they were going to have an hour wait at 8 PM. Pull up to the window and they say their system is down will have to come back in 20 minutes. I said drop two pot pies for me and I will come back in 20 minutes.Decided to place the order online. After 30 minutes the app said the order is ready come on inside. When I got here they said to pull up and we will bring your order out. Five minutes later they came out and said it would be at 20 more minutes. Upgrading rating simply for packing the order correctly this time. Well Almost correct. Ordered k1 and k2 but there was no wing in either box. Got the tiniest thigh ever along with what now looks like the once full size breast chopped in half the long way so it was more backbone with coating than breast meat. So I guess everyone must be making $15 an hour since box price has increased about 70 cents each and pieces now chopped in half. Too bad this place is so unreliable cuz I love some good original KFC chicken. Hoping they get someone in there that can manage goods, services and staff to make a fair profit before people quit going there for good. At least everything was in each box. I am very happy to hear the management team "refused service" to the individual who stated racists slurs to another patron! Ok, so this location used to suck but since the remodel, they have really stepped up their game! They completely turned this place around! Just got free chicken for a year, it's a promotion they are doing today for the first 50 people! And the food is much better so if you were not a fan of this location before, I say give it another try. It's improved about 100%. read more

Haven't had decent KFC since i was a kid. Especially from this location. Got some today and god damn that was fuckin money. Recipe still isn't quite as good as Popeye's, but the quality was top notch. Not a single fuck up. I don't know what they did over there. Maybe new owners or better staff but everything was how it's supposed to be. I hope they keep that level of quality consistent. If they do, we'll start going back there again. We had crispy chicken bucket and chicken strips. Mashed potatoes and gravy. And biscuits. Everything was top notch. Only thing i didn't care for was the potatoes and gravy but that's more of a personal preference rather than a quality thing. They were well made, they're just not my thing. read more

Customer service is terrible. I ordered online at 6:09 pm. Order pick up at 6:19 pm you are supposed to call when you get there. 200 attempts later and one hour still no food. Called corporate to report poor customer service as there were 7 other customers waiting also for approximately the same time. The drive thru was open and customers were being helped but we were told you can't pick up at the drive thru you have to wait in the parking lot. Finally asked for refund and was told to talk to manager at the drive thru window and all of a sudden chicken was done. read more

When you can get past the bums and go in the door you will notice all tables are dirty and usually empty. They do nothing to remove the bums. I have seen a homeless person park his bike come in and go to the trash can and grab a empty cup and go to soda machine while employees just talk to each other. I never really know how to rate a fast food spot, since the food is pretty much the same at each chain. I mean, it sure as hell isn't fine dining, so you should kinda know what to expect right?? The people working here are nice, and I've never had problems with my food. A couple times, I've been told to pull around since they ran out of what I wanted and were working on a new batch of potato wedges, but I have no problem waiting. I normally just go thru the drive thru here but because of work being done on my house, decided to go inside and sit down to eat. Staff walked around behind the counter while we looked on at the menu. One staff member was trying to hang a sign in the window but after no success, he (she?) decided to come and stand behind the register. After standing there for a couple of minutes we made eye contact and that's when I realized he (she?) was ready to take our order. Then asked me "Is that it?" Wow! Someone obviously missed the day of the customer service training! We couldn't find a clean table to sit at, so we just sat at the one that was the cleanest! Thankfully I carry wet wipes. We ate A&W cheeseburgers and shared fries. My granddaughter had a milkshake and I had a soda. After looking at the receipt, I realized I was charged for separate items instead of grouped as a meal, which cost me more! Unbelievable! After seeing all the bad reviews, my boyfriend & I were hesitant to come here. However, he really wanted KFC and there weren't any closer ones around us. It didn't affect me, because I'm not a big fan of KFC. Anywho, once we got to this KFC, it was already after 9pm. Outside was dead! No cars or anything. I thought to myself, "Great. First bad reviews, now there really is no one here." Later, as we were heading home, I realized how late we were there. Lol so that could have been the reason. So right when we pulled up to the speaker, my indecisive bf asks the employee if we could have a second. He was very nice! He even told us they had a deal (14 pcs for $10) & that was exactly what my bf ordered since it was a great deal. We got to the drive thru & right after we paid, we got our chicken already. (At this point, I'm still on my toes because of the bad reviews) I tell my bf to check the chicken to make sure it's not cold. He states back that it's warm. So we left. Another yelper talked about the exit dip & thank goodness for that tip! I wouldn't want to be chasing my bumper, or worse....my bumper chasing me! We came home & my boyfriend dug right in it. I had to try it so I could yelp about it. Meat was still pretty warm, but it did seem a bit old. Still much better than I thought. If I ever do crave for KFC, I will come back. This location has struggled for years. Today makes it EASY to scratch off my list permanently. As I reach the drive through, I see a sign about menu changes and notice a big price increase for box meals. No description of contents in any of the "K" numbered boxes. The guy tells me he only has crispy chicken and i say that if you only have crispy i will just drive on through. He then says oh no i have original go ahead and order. I ordered a k1 and k2 as I have for years! I confirmed with my order that k2 was still a breast and wing and was told yes. However, the guy taking my order was not paying attention to my words and instead was listening to someone nearby. I get home to find 2 tiny thighs (off a pigeon or something) and a leg in my box. I HATE brown chicken meat. I called to complain, and I'm told they've discontinued k2 permanently. So if you like white meat from a chicken, don't go to KFC.
