it's a pretty solid restaurant. It's located on a busy street but has its own private parking. It's spacious inside and has outdoor and covered seating as well which is really nice. Everyone there is super sweet and I got seated right away. The waitress was attentive and great. We got some taziki sauce with warm pita bread which is delicious. the food came out quickly! I also got a salad with quinoa, lettuce, avocado andwith a lemon vinaigrette dressing and some chicken, it was good-ish. It was a pretty average salad, good portions but the flavors weren't perfect. It had a great cream dressing on the side with avocado but the vinaigrette for the whole salad was a little bit lacking in flavor. appetizers are great and I would say the salad was all right, good portion but I think they need to pick up the flavor just a little bit. It was definitely healthy. We didn't get much else, my friend got a sandwich which she really liked! to be fair, I was staying on the healthier side but I was hoping for a little bit more flavor. I would definitely give this place a shot again, it looks amazing and they have lots of choices of food and drinks! read more

The food was really good but the staff, not so much. We did arrive about 30 minutes prior to closing but, in our defense, we are from out of town and had struck out at a couple of other places we wanted to try. We were quickly informed that the kitchen would be closing. Our waiter was slow to arrive so we placed our order quickly as to not hold up the kitchen staff. Our waiter did not check on us after taking our order, we were not given utensils, and he said nothing when he dropped off the check. Pulling up to park at Kid Cashew and my face broke into a huge, silly grin. The Mario paintings on the brick wall outside just brought this old-school gamer so much joy. The inside continued that joy, although not in a Nintendo theme. Sparkly over-the-top vintage inspired mirrors and art and posters covered every inch of wall space, and unique chandeliers and light fixtures hung all over the ceilings. The whole space is just INVITING! You want to come in and sit down and you want to eat. Yes, you want to eat. The food here is amazing. I love being served this way - one small plate after another when they're ready, rather than all entrees being served at once. That way, you're encouraged to slow down and talk more and enjoy eating out. Our server was super nice, as was the young dude who delivered our food (shrimp n' polenta, asparagus, roast chicken, and beet salad with salmon), as well as the two girls at the host stand. Loved this place!! Came here with my mom right before the holidays & was pleasantly surprised. My mom had heard about it from a friend, so we decided to stop in. Good ambiance / vibe, it felt very clean inside. Our service was good & our waitress was sweet and had great suggestions! We got the chicken skewers, Brussels sprouts, and baked feta & spinach dip, which came with warm pita, as well as carrots and celery. Everything came out warm, and was fabulous!! My favorite was the spinach and feta dip- so cheesy and warm!! Definitely would come back here. The sandwich was mediocre - personally I imagined it with a grilled chicken breast instead of pulled chicken - it doesn't pair well with the toast since the toast is so light. I really enjoyed the selection of small plates here. Four plates was plenty of food for two people. The mac & 5-cheeses was my favorite. The cheeses were creamy, and they coated the curly pasta well. Plus there was a nice crispy layer on top. The hummus was tasty. The gravy in the meatball au poivre really outperformed the meatballs which were a little dry. Our server told us to dip some of the pita in the meatball gravy (great idea!). The quinoa stuffed avocado had a bit of a spicy kick to it. With all the lettuce and other toppings, it's like a salad with two avocado halves. You can also choose to get the half size. I like the variety of dishes that they offer here, and I would go back to try more plates, big and small. read more

Our experience at Kid Cashew on 12/18/22 was was extremely terrible; 0 stars. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a hostess and seated at a booth. Our server came over shortly after and took our order. While taking our order, it appeared that the server was a bit "annoyed" with us. We later found out through the manager/owner that the server thought we were intentionally ignoring her when she initially greeted us at the table. To our server, I apologize if you thought we were ignoring you; however, you approached us while we were in the middle of a deep conversation---ignoring you was not intentional! I would also suggest that you deeply reflect on your actions and revisit (or begin) the process of customer service training programs. It could possibly help you with developing better skills (i.e., observation/communication/being emotionally nonreactive) as a server. With regards to the food, we ordered the roasted chicken and Greek salad entrees. Everything was going really well until we found what appears to be maggot/caterpillar/meal worm in our salad (see attached images). Now, there are customers who would've totally freaked out about this, but we wanted to approach this situation in a diplomatic and discreet manner. Thus, I personally went up to the server and mentioned that we found what appears to be a bug in our food (also noted that we were not upset by this because we know it's not her fault and these things could happen from time to time). The server then proceeded to communicate our concern to another worker who claims he is the manager/owner of the restaurant (see attached photo). To our surprise, we were completely shocked at how the manager responded to our concern. It did not appear to be a priority for the manager to immediately address our concern as he continued to set up tables and seat another party. When the manager finally came over to our table, his tone and demeanor were extremely rude and aggressive. Instead of apologizing, he jumped right to asking us "...What do you want me to do, I can take this off your ticket...you don't have to pay...and you can leave..." We were all in disbelief at the manager's response; very dismissive and unapologetic. We decided it would be best just to leave since the service was just distressingly bad. Additionally, as we were leaving, the party next to us asked us to share what we found in our salad. One of our party members shared the pictures we captured below and apparently, this sent the manager off the edge. He followed my friend out of the front door and was cursing at her saying, "Get the fuck out of my restaurant...fuck outta here...don't come back to my restaurant..." He also grabbed the front door and slammed it as my friend was walking out. If this was not already bad enough, as we were standing in the parking lot reflecting on the incident, the manager came out of the side door yelling on his cell phone about us to someone he's talking to. When the manager saw us, he started yelling more derogative remarks: "Get the fuck off my property...you fucking need to leave...these ugly ass girls...etc. He also accused us of trespassing property? The most insane part was that we never even addressed him in the parking lot. To the manager: your behavior was completely unprofessional, inappropriate, barbaric, and distasteful. Your overly aggressive tone and inappropriate language was unwarranted and unnecessary. Your entire establishment should be shut down just by how you treat your customers!!! Unacceptable!!! What an overall traumatic experience to say the very least. From the poor sanitation practices to the lack of quality service, food, and accountability. It is NOT okay to blatantly disrespect and harass your customers! And, you can certainly count on me/us to never patronize your business ever again. People--please save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. This restaurant is not deserving of any support! read more

I ordered from Uber Eats and I have to say: 10/10. The chicken skewers were perfectly cooked and the sauce on top was creamy and savory, yet not too rich or overpowering. The hummus and tzatziki were perfectly portioned and so flavorful. I probably wouldn't order the octopus for delivery again because it was a bit rubbery, but honestly that could just be because it's octopus. The salad with quinoa and avocado was absolutely delicious and the two dressings it came with were perfect. Best of all, I ordered this at 6:40 and it was at my door (two exits away) by 7:15, with everything in the order included. This was my first time eating here and I will definitely be visiting in-house to experience this deliciousness again. We are regulars at this restaurant. I recommend it because the food has a wood fire grilled flavor throughout their menu. Our favorite appetizer is the smoked octopus. It had the wood fire grilled flavor and is soft. You wouldn't believe it's octopus! This was our first time trying the stuff avocado ,and we recommend you eat it with your meal. This restaurant is vegan friendly! From the salads to an impossible burger, it is all delicious! Our go to meal is the trout and salmon which is served with savory quinoa and topped with cucumber salsa. Good service. Especially from a lady with blonde hair that usually runs the food. We have been coming here since they have opened and the food was and has always been on point. If you get there before 6PM you get all apps half price (and specific drinks too) so you can load up a table and go to town on pretty much every item on the small plates menu. Plenty seating (indoor and patio), cool vibe and decor, exposed kitchen so you can see some of the "action" if you're sitting at the bar especially. Parking is a little tight (we're ON Roswell Rd after all) but their friends at AT&T are sharing their parking space. So nice! Wonder if they get free food ... 3rd time visiting this place. I really love the rostisserie chicken and so the hummus, that's why I dedided to come again. Ambiance and decoration are good too. Service wise there's a lot of room to improve. The first time I was here I sat at the bar and there was a guy bartending that was not attentive at all, the first time I thought he was just busy I didn't think of anything and just left, I decided to give it a second shot and there was a girl bartending actually cared and delivered a great service so she's the reason I'm giving 3 stars. The 3rd time was yesterday and the same guy was bartending and he barely greeted us. We could tell he wasn't busy because there a max of 10 people in the whole restaurant and he wasn't busy at all. He walked out of the bar and just walked around the restaurant without asking us what we wanted to drink until he decided to bring some water and we order everything at the same time because we were on our lunch break, he took the order and kept just walking around the restaurant on his phone and the least things he seemed to care about was his guests, maybe that's the reason why his bar is always empty when he's there. Also I never have any issues tipping but it must be earned I normally tip 18% or more, this time I tipped 15% because if I want to go to a place where there's no service I can just go to a fast food restaurant. read more
