Great place for breakfast or lunch! This is their new location and you must stop by. Wonderful selection of brekkie dishes and lunch looks just as onolicious! Nice open air dinning too! Service was fast and they have a smooth ordering system so your food comes out not only quickly but hot off the grille. No dishes sit in the warming area at all. I had traditional eggs Benedict and muesli. My friend had a yummy big cinnamon roll and 2 fried eggs and an iced latte. Everything was perfect! We will be back soon and if you haven't tried it yet make sure you do. The line to the ordering server is sometimes long but don't let that stop you. Line goes quickly and their ordering methodology and internal controls work beautifully. Happy eating and bring your entire ohana or friends. They have specialty drinks too! Food: the food was delicious. The eggs Benedict had a great poached egg and the ham and biscuit was also very delicious. The potatoes were cooked just the way I like it crunchy on the outside. Nice and soft on the inside. The French toast was eaten by my niece, and she loved it, she scarfed it down so quick. The kids rice, Vienna, sausage and scrambled egg was a fairly big portion so it was worth the money to purchase. My daughter loved it and we also got to take some home for eating later. Service: right when you walk in the service is great the cashier is very friendly and has a kind smile as you order. The servers are also very nice. Ambiance: the café is very casual. We went during breakfast time and was lucky enough to come in with only a few people in line we didn't really wait too long on our order so that was also a plus. Overall, this place is great we booked the hotel that's right next to the café so it's just a one minute walk over. Stopped in for breakfast around 830 am on a Sunday. The line was out the door but the line moved quickly. There is a menu posted outside the door but once you get in, you'll see a board with daily specials. We planned on ordering the Fresh Corned Beef Hash and Eggs, then changed to the Oyster Rockyfeller Benedict special. Also ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict, Pancakes and Loco Moco. The Oyster in the Rockyfeller Benedict was crunchy and not overdone. The Pancakes were fluffy.  The Loco Moco was big. We were all very happy with our entrees. You order at the door, find your table, pickup your drinks, then servers come  through the dining area calling your name to drop off your food. At the register there are baked goods to choose from. The restaurant offers indoor,  outdoor,  and air conditioned seating. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

So... I did something crazy... I was there during a holiday and Kihei Caffe was running a special: Cinnamon Bun French Toast! It was decadent and delicious! No regrets!! I did wash it down with a black coffee (also good) to counteract the sweetness. I drop in here every once in a while and get a loco moco with pulled pork... always a solid choice... then you are set for hours, maybe even till dinner. We loved their food especially for breakfast however we find out that due shortage of eggs they are charging an extra fee of per eggs. I have notice the amount of pancakes has been reduced to 2 instead of three pancakes with same price! Lastly the grits which I loved was watery and appreciated if they cooked it like a southerner. Stayed at the Maui Coastal Hotel and walked to this spot for breakfast. It's a practically self serviced spot so don't expect to be waited on. Order your food, pay, and tip before finding a spot to sit and eat. There is a water station where you can get your own cup of water. Tried the eggs Benedict with fresh corned beef and it was delicious! They didn't skimp out on the corned beef either. Most places would have more potato than meat but not here. Would come back to try the kalua pig Benedict for sure and maybe even their cinnamon rolls they have on display at the register. read more

Came here to just pick up some morning drinks! However, I need to come back because the food looks amazing here! We were told that the Ube coffee cold brew here is a must and it is very sweet, but it's very tasty! The ambience is amazing. Apparently this used to be a bar so they still have the bar set up but they have outdoor seating which is very lovely on a nice day! The restaurant itself is very large and spacious! Dined here for breakfast. Conveniently located right next to the hotel I was staying at. The menu is just like the other location down the street and I enjoy the ambiance here as you don't have to be rushed to eat your food as people await to be seated. Kihei Cafe has their restaurant dialed in! Walking in you first see a beautiful bakery display filled with a bunch of yummy treats. Next to the display is a friendly face waiting to take your order. Once ordered, you choose where you'd like to sit. We chose to sit out back, which felt like we were in a jungle! The atmosphere was amazing. After a short wait our food arrived, which was good; not great, just good. Everything we ordered was your basic breakfast food. Great local spot in Kihei. I had the loco moco with Kaluah pork and fried rice. My wife had the bread pudding French toast. Both were amazing! The pork was perfectly smoky and rendered. The bacon that came with the French toast was great, not just your everyday bacon. Don't expect to be waited on, it's not that kind of place. This used to be our Go To place in Kihei for breakfast. The food was fresh, hot, and fast... But Now... the last several times we have gone there the eggs have been cold , the toast cold, the pancakes cold, and the bacon old.... It seems like they are staging in the back to have fast service times but the food is no longer fresh tasting and AT LEAST WARM.. cold eggs are just disgusting. We have tried to give several chances thinking maybe it was a One Off but no... seems to be the norm now. Very disappointing. Sad to say we will be going elsewhere now for breakfast. read more

We've eaten Kihei Caffe before in its original ocation further down the road, but I noticed they opened one at the Maui Coast Hotel just around the corner from our residence. At this location you stand in line to place your order at the register and then grab a table, either enjoying the outdoor veranda area, or also a cooler more air conditioned room. By the time we've grabbed a table and our own drinks/silverware, they are calling our name with dishes in hand. We ate here twice, and how fast the food comes out utterly amazes me. I feel like it's faster to eat here than spending time my own breakfast at our timeshare, and much more delicious. The special coffee drinks are good (ube iced lattes and coconut macadamia coffee), and they had these giant cinnamon rolls shaped like huge volcanoes that I regret not trying because we decided to get their also delicious malasadas instead. The thick slices of Portuguese sweet bread were dipped and fried so they were a little crusty on the outside and flavorful but not mushy on the inside. Perfectly done. Coffee was good and hot. The place was full. If you want a coffee refill you need to go ask for it. The food was delivered quickly and hot. Seating was a bit confusing. We had to find the pre-line at the left then invited to the ordering line. Then we ordered and paid, given a number and afterward, a host seated us. Easy walk in breakfast spot for locals and tourists in Kihei! We stayed walking distance from here and it was the perfect spot to hit up in the morning for a quick coffee and breakfast. It's also right off the ocean and has plenty of open-air deck space to take in the ocean breeze. Seems like you need to eat here if staying near Kihei so my husband and I came for breakfast on our last day in Maui. It was 8am so the line wasn't super long yet. You stand in line to order and pay and the host will tell you where to sit. You can't grab a table until you have placed your order or at least that's how it was when we went. (I've read differing opinions) We ordered a breakfast burrito and the 2-2-2 special which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon and choice of 2 pancakes or French toast, I opted for the french toast. Something to note is they don't serve plain tap water here, only bottled water. Burrito was very tasty, eggs cooked perfectly. My breakfast was delicious as well although I regret not adding fruit to my French toast. Servers are all friendly. Food is moderately priced and serving size is average. As always, my starts are based on the food. And it was good! The coffee was very good and hot. The omelet was solid (good amount of cheese, and the onions were not overcooked, which was welcome since the onions were sweet). The papaya, granola and yogurt was of course delicious. I didn't love the French toast, but it wasn't bad, and the fake maple syrup wasn't half bad either. Not reflected in the stars, but the service was good and friendly, and the tables were pretty abundant and were also clean. There was a wait from pretty early, but the line was to order and not to sit. Best to get there when they open at 7 am if you want to beat the morning rush. Conveniently located at the entrance to the Maui Coast Hotel. Seems to always be busy, which is a good sign. Breakfast was good (hard to mess up bacon and eggs). Prices were ok, although $4 for plain old drip coffee is a little steep. Also, if you don't get your one free refill in the restaurant, you'll get charged another dollar for a to-go cup, but that wasn't really the issue. The counter staff was generally kind of rude. The cashier had just rung up a customer in front of me and motioned me over to order. I was waiting for the previous customer to move out of the way, as there is limited space to maneuver in front of the register. The cashier was getting visibly annoyed because I wasn't crowding all up on this poor woman trying to put her card back in her wallet. The whole time I'm thinking, what does she want me to do? Push this lady out of the way so I can save 10 seconds and order my food? I probably should have just said nevermind and left. It just left a bad first impression. Awesome breakfast! This location has a much shorter wait than the original Kihei Caffe a few blocks down with the 4k+ reviews. They have the same menu but 15-20 min wait at this location vs 1hr+ at the other. I tried the pork fried rice which was decent and highly rated but I wouldn't order it again. I also had the banana macadamia nut pancakes which was delicious along with a side of over easy eggs and Portuguese sausages. The Portuguese sausage was tasty and my fav! I also enjoyed the macadamia nut latte. I would love to come back again, too bad I swung by the morning before my flight back. read more

Everyone was so friendly, and there was plenty of seating, especially when they opened the side patio and the additional room. The cinnamon rolls were fab, of course, and the coffee also very good. I had the March coffee special, a latte w pandan and it was so yummy I had one every day of my trip. I was staying next door, so Kihei Caffe was my go-to spot and it never disappointed. Oh!
